    Hello,
    After you install the 32bit version of Oracle WebLogic 12c , jdevstudio11115install (Windows 7 32 bit platform) . These actions come after the installation of the domain ADF 's and then completed the installation.
    I receive the following error when I run startWebLogic.cmd. ( What is the solution. )

  • Oracle weblogic 12c 64bit

    64-bit version of Oracle WebLogic 12c download .When will there be.

    It's not the WebLogic Server (which itself is just a Java application, albeit one that provides lots of services to provide a Java EE environment for other apps) that is 32 or 64 bit, but the underlying JVM.
    It just so happens that for installation convenience BEA/Oracle have provided special installers that bundled up WebLogic with 32 bit Windows or Linux JVMs in the past. However these are equivalent to you installing your own JVM and then running the generic .jar installer.
    Note some platforms (though not Linux) need the -d64 option - check the install docs.

  • Jrockit with oracle weblogic 12c

    We have Oracle Weblogic 12c and I followed this thread and update the start up files mentioned here, but still couldn't connect.
    http://jdeveloperfaq.blogspot.com/2011/03/faq-32-how-to-get-started-with-jrockit.html
    Has anyone been able to get the JROCKIT to pull data from Weblogic Oracle 12c and if so what version of the JROCKIT did you use and did you need to tweak the start up files, setdomain.env and startWebLogic cmd files.
    Thanks

    To my knowledge the plug-ins are not yet supported for WebLogic 12c.
    "For information on WebLogic Server 10gR3 (10.3.0) and 11gR1 (10.3.x) Web Server Plug-In support, refer to My Oracle Support Doc ID 1111903.1 on https://support.oracle.com"
    - New plug-ins will be released for WebLogic Server 12c.
    - The location for the WLS 12c plug-ins will be released when they are available.
    Instructions on configuration (note they come from the WebLogic 10.3.5 documentation) can be found here: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E23943_01/web.1111/e14395/nsapi.htm#BGBFCGBJ
    - The latest plug-ins can be found here: http://www.oracle.com/technetwork/middleware/ias/downloads/wls-plugins-096117.html
    The documentation for WebLogic 12c only has instructions for the HttpClusterServlet: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E24329_01/web.1211/e24425/setup.htm#CLUST466

    One user log into our financial system and entered a function to enter data. Did not logout, went to machine B and then log in and performed same function.
    I can see in the logs what happened, the first thread is on server01 and then on machine b she gets thread on server05.
    Unable to save on server05, so how would I clear her threads on the server....

  • ORACLE WEBLogic 12C Clustering of Admin Server ?

    Hi ,
    I have setup WebLogic Server 12c on solaris 10 u11, as cluster.
    For cluster of managed servers, it works fine.
    My Question is, can we run Admin Server from two nodes of cluster?
    example:  Node 1, created Admin Server, Cluster (F-End1/F-End2) Managed Servers
    F-End1 on node1, and F-End2 on node2.
    Now for some reason, Node1 has some hardware problem, can i run Admin Server from Node2 ?
    I have followed the setup from this website<>
    http://www.oracle-base.com/articles/11g/weblogic-11g-clustered-domains.php
    Followed Same, Pack/Unpack, Enroll.
    Now from Node 1, i can run, Node Manager, ./startweblogic.sh   and it takes me to the Admin Server.
    from there i can manage every thing.
    Question is, can i run Admin Server form Node2? if yes, how?

    Node1: 10.0.1.179     Admin Server :7001      F-End-1  7003  B-End1   7020
    Node2: 10.0.1.177                                       F-End-2   7003  B-End2   7020
    when i try to run the Admin Server from the Node2, i get error (By 1st running the Node Manager)

    This is not a new installation. I was running SGEN Tcode. I stopped the transaction and wanted to start it again, it gave an ABAP DUMP error. After that i had restarted the Server at OS level. From then onwards the TNS Listener service was not starting.
    But the problem is resolved. The problem was with the IP Address. It was changed and the entry was not present in the Host file. So i have made an entry in the hostfile and started the TNS Listener service, it worked.

  • Weblogic 12c not picking up persistence unit in WAR

    I'm trying to get an example CRUD application to run on WebLogic 12c (for the app see: http://henk53.wordpress.com/2012/04/15/jsf2-primefaces3-ejb3-jpa2-integration-project/)
    So far the applications runs on JBoss AS 7.1, GlassFish 3.1.2 and TomEE beta 2. In all those application servers persistence.xml is picked-up, and processed so I'm at a loss what's wrong with WebLogic. I'm using Eclipse 3.7.2 and the Oracle WebLogic 12C WTP server adapter for the deployment.
    I'm getting the following exception:
    java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No persistence unit named 'entityManager' is available in scope jsf_ejb_jpa. Available persistence units: []

         at com.example.dao.jpa.JpaUserDAO_wrkew_UserDAOImpl.add(Unknown Source)
         at com.example.backing.IndexBacking.addUser(IndexBacking.java:38)
    Notice that "entityManager" is the name of the instance variable in which injection is being performed:
    @PersistenceContext(name="example")
    private EntityManager entityManager;
    If I rename this variable to "em: as follows:
    @PersistenceContext(name="example")
    private EntityManager em;
    Then, lo and behold, the exception changes into:
    java.lang.IllegalArgumentException: No persistence unit named 'em' is available in scope jsf_ejb_jpa. Available persistence units: []
    As the example uses a data-source defined in web.xml, which is only marginally supported in most application servers, I tried to define a WebLogic specific application scoped data-source instead and let the persistence unit use that. I couldn't find a way to do this in a .war (is this even possible?), so I created an .ear archive instead. When deploying the EAR, the data-source is clearly being created, but I'm getting the same exception again.
    I finally created an EJB module with a persistence.xml and a simple Singleton that's injected with the entityManager, and added that to the EAR. This works for the EJB module, but in the web module injection of the other entity manager still fails.
    Any idea what might be the problem?

    After some more fiddling, I discovered it's not WebLogic itself that's at fault here, but most likely Oracle's WTP adapter. Apparently it doesn't include persistence.xml in the archive that gets deployed. When I export the project as an .ear archive and copy this to WebLogic's autodeploy directly, things do work.
    I tried to find out what the main difference was between the deployments, but I could not find where the Oracle WTP adapter creates the deployment. I tried to test where a resource inside the EAR resides on the filesystem via the following code inside a backing bean:
    URL url = Thread.currentThread().getContextClassLoader().getResource("com/example/backing");
    It looks like there isn't a real .war or .ear being created and deployed, but there's a link back to the workspace, as the URL resolves to:
    file:/Users/henk/eclipse37ee/workspace/jsf_ejb_jpa/build/classes/com/example/backing/
    If I execute the same code for the ear in the autodeploy folder, the URL resolves to some jar inside:
    /Users/henk/eclipse37ee/wls1211_dev/mydomain/servers/myserver/tmp/_WL_user/_appsdir_jsf_ejb_jpa_ear_ear/2jzks6/war/WEB-INF/lib/
    In case of the WTP 'deployment' linking back to the Eclipse workspace, META-INF/persistence.xml is actually there too, but for some reason Weblogic can't find it there?

  • Need step by step installation of oracle database 10g on mac os x (10.5)

    Does anybody know step by step installation of Database 10g on mac os x?
    Thanks

    First you download Oracle 10.1.0.3: The only supported database version.
    Then you beg Apple to send you a copy of Panther 10.3.6: The only supported operating system version.
    Then, if you are familiar with FreeBSD and/or Mac OSX, you should have it up and running in a day or so.
    If you are thinking you can do this with 10gR2 or above on Tiger or Leopard you might want to consider that dropping a brick on your foot is faster and will generally produce the same sensation.
