Responsibilities:
BASIS / Security :
1. System Upgrade / Installation
2. Post upgrade activities like SPAU (if its upgrade), notes that are required to be implemented.
3. Email / SMS set-up (Exchange infrastructure)
4. Work-out the authorizations that need to be provided for different Business roles
XI / PI :
1. Download the content for latest SNC release
2. Set-up communication between ERP <> XI <> SNC
3. Check SLDCHECK
4. Configuration scenario e.g. Sender Agreement, Receiver Agreement, Receiver Determination, Interface Determination, etc.
Functional :
1. Master Data set-up
2. Required customizing

I strongly suggest taking a look at Direct Access. Most people looking at IBCM end up going with Direct Access since it requires fewer steps/less infrastructure and yet provides far more value.

PR Cancellation with Reason and Check List

Dear all,
Please put some ideas on this.
I have a requisition released by User and final release by Head. Once the final release is done, purchase department have the authority to reject the PR, if anything is missing/mismatch.
However, purchase dept do not want to be a part of the release strategy. While cancelling/Rejecting (not through release) the PR Item after final release, there is a list that needs to be maintained which will contain a checklist for the reason why the PR is rejected/Notes.
a. Thought of deleting the line item.
b. can we do release in park document (not able to go through it as a dump is coming).

Hi,
   Other than release rejection, you may check the option of specific texts at header or item level, where the buyer can add his comments. But the disadvantage is that the requisitioner wont be notified whether the requisition is rejected or not. It is not feasible to check the text is each and every item to find the release rejection.
   You may go for development to notify the requisitioner about the rejection text.
   Alternatively, check whether the report RSTXTC3 (with object as EBAN or EBANH and the text ID as the text ID of the rejection text along with the creation date). You may even schedule the report in background with appropriate variant and send mail to the users.

Check number confirmation window does not appear and checks become confirmed automatically

We have updated to SAP 9.10.105 PL 00,
and we have two issues with check printing, first when we print check we do not receive a confirmation window and all of the checks show as being confirmed. as soon as be print checks in the payment wizard after the checks have printed we than get an error message.
"no matching records found 'checks for payment' (OCHO) (ODBC 2028) [message 131-183]
the second problem is if I set over flow to blank paper, it will only print one check at a time, and i still do not receive a confirmation window.
I am not sure if the original patch for 8.8 was left out of the 9.1 release.

Thanks for this, I found this after posting a message with SAP Support. Just a heads up, they consider it as 'Consulting' function not an 'Application Error' so they will not be a fix. We'll just need to know to make sure users know to un-check this Box.

If the option 'Print on Blank Paper' is ticked, the Checks Number
Confirmation window will not pop-up.
Go through the following steps and check the settings:
1. Go to Administration -> System Initialization -> Print Preferences -> Per Document tab,
Document: Check for Payment. Check if the option 'Print on: Blank Paper' is ticked.
2. In Check for Payment document check whether the tick box 'Print on Blank Paper' is ticked.
3. Go to Administration-> Setup-> Banking-> House Bank Accounts. Check in the 'Paper Type' column
if the option Blank Paper is chosen.

I am not sure if this thread of yours is in continuation of the other thread you have started which has been replied by two other Forum members.
The checklist depends upon which Scenario(s) of SolMan you are trying to implement.
- Implementation/ Upgrade of ERP systems
- Service Desk
- Change Request Monitoring
- Diagnostics
- Solution Monitoring (includes BPM/ Interface monitoring)
- Delivery of SAP Services (EWA, .....)
Unless you specify the scenario you are seeking information on, it is difficult for anyone to pose a satisfactory reply.

Disabling the computer's antivirus and firewall during the download and update usually resolves the timeout error.

Is there a check list ti send emails rather than opening and closing contacts for each entry?

Maybe I got spoiled but in my hotmail if I wanted to forward an email all my contacts came up and I would just choose and check them off my contact list. Now I have to do one atbabtime on my iPad and mobile hotmail. I know I can make groups but seems like I lost a great feature.

I understand how to extract the information for a certificate one-by-one, but I am wanting to write a powershell script that will step through a list of certificates and a list of their corresponding network passwords in order to extract their property
data (i.e. expiration date, etc). Any suggestions?

I have to include List box(Drop down) of lenght 20 and check box in a screen area.
The fields on screen are to be transported from structure CI_PROJ in table PROJ.
How can i Include List box and check box in my structure CI_PROJ.

Hi,
For the list box if you have the data element along with the search help then you can use that dataelement. If you dont have search help at dataelement level then for the structure you have to assign a search help directly. If you dont have data element it self then domain's fixed values will be shown in the drop down. For the check box you have to use a data element with a domain having CHAR and length 1.
For the list box you will KEY and VALUES. Key is the one that is transfered to your program data and VALUE is the one that is shown to the user. You have to use the data element of your KEY for the list box.
