Hi
1: go to Rpd -> intialization block.
2. Create a new intialization block.
3. Edit Data source select datasource type as database.
4. Edit default intialization string with "Select Sysdate - 7 from dual"
5. Assign connection pool and also choose refresh interval time for the variable.
6. Click test to view results.
7. Now click on edit data target button
8. Create server variable
9. Click Ok, Close variable manager, save rpd.
10. Now create prompts with Date-Calendar control and assign default value with server variable and also create new presentation variables as shown below in the below link.
11. Use the presentation variable as your filter.

I am trying to apply a lens filter in CS6 to a mp4 movie from the phantom 2+. I do the normal steps of lens filter and choose dji, phantom2+, and I click ok and the picture improves and there is less curve etc. What I don't know is why it seems to revert back to the old movie when I come back later on. I know I saved it but I must be doing something wrong. Here are my steps:
Open an Mp4 movie
Choose filter, lens correction
Choose dii
choose Phantom FC200
click ok and the image improves.
I then save as a name.psd and close the file.
I reopen the file and it looks good. When I play the movie it just jumps back to the old curved horizon.
What am I doing wrong? If you can help me I would be very grateful.

Are all these songs associated with the same Apple ID or were some purchased on another account?
Are they tagged properly? In the library does it break an album out into several different albums with a few tracks each?
Check your sync settings for each device. Do you accidentally have only certain songs/albums syncing?

There is no need to flatten the file, but you can create a layer that merges all the content of the image, and apply the filter on that layer.
Target the topmost layer, by holding the Option and . (period) keys, then create a merged copy by holding down Command Shift Option E.

I was wondering, is it possible to apply an image filter of sorts to an entire applet rather than to images? I'm writing a little game in java for a university project and basically I'm only using functions like drawrect and drawpolygon etc, and I want to apply fairly simple filters like blur etc. Is there any way I can achieve this kind of effect with the draw functions?

You might do better in the 2-D or Swing forums.
I don't have an answer, but it's an intriging problem. Basically you need to get all the components to paint themselves into the graphics context of an offscreen buffer, then apply the transformation, then paint the buffer onto the screen.
(Some hackery must be involved though. For instance blurring, by definition, means that components will have an onscreen appearance outside their bounds. So you are sort of fighting against Swing's painting mechanism - if a portion of your applet, close to but outside the bounds of a particular component, becomes visible that component will have to redraw itself, although Swing won't know that.)

Consequence of applying the same filter twice to one scene

What would be the consequence of applying the same filter twice (with the exact same settings) to one scene?
For example, I drop the de-interlace filter twice (assuming the exact same settings on the filter) onto the same scene by accident and don't pick up on it later... would that do anything to the quality of the footage?

In general, applying the same filter twice to a clip has its effect applied twice. However this depends on the kind of effect: with de-interlace you might get a degraded image since the first pass removes a field and substitutes it with a new field built by interpolation, then the 2nd pass removes a field again. If it is the same as before nothing should happen, but if it is the other one you degrade the image again.
With broadcast safe I guess you won't gain quality by adding it twice.

Motion 5 freezes after applying the keying filter

Why does my screen freeze (four or five yellow/green bands, curser turns to rotating ball of death) when i try to apply the keying filter in Motion 5?

This may be pretty basic, but I'm trying to implement a rule in Policy Manager to allow access to a resource based on LDAP group membership. I can't figure out how to construct the ldap query. I'm using OID as the directory server.
Does anybody know how to create an ldap query that will apply a group filter to authenticated?
the format would be something like
ldap:///dc=oracle,dc=com??sub?(......)

Do you by any chance know what we can include in our DBMS_LDAP statement to populate the OID for a new user creation to populate the obpasswordcreationdate as a part of the user creation.

Why do I get an "X" when I apply an effect filter FCE?

When I apply an effect filter in FCE an big X appears on my clip. Is it something I am doing wrong or failed to do. I purchased my FCE direct from Apple about a year ago. I was under the impression that effects came with it, if I am mistaken please correct my thinking and provide me some guidance on what to do, if anything can be done at all. I may just be ignorant to this and I apologize for that.

How do I apply a desaturation filter across entire timeline?

I'm wondering how to apply a desaturation filter across the entire timeline of a short film I've built without having to drag and drop the filter into every clip (there are many). Is it as simple as copy/paste, because I tried that and it didn't seem to work.

A couple of ways to do it:
1. Apply the filter to one clip and adjust as needed. Copy the clip (Command c). Select (highlight) all other clips to which you want to apply the filter, right-click on one and select "Paste Attributes." When the Paste Attributes window opens, click the Filters box on the Video side.
2. Apply the filter to one clip then adjust as needed in the Viewer window's Filter tab. In the Timeline, select (highlight) all other clips to which you want to apply the filter. Drag the filter from the clip in the Viewer to the highlighted clips in the Timeline.

Hi,
I found on page 3-2 on doc titled as "Oracle Applications Maintenance Procedures" the steps required for applying a patch.
During step 7: "Respond to the AutoPatch prompts" the system asks for the password of ORACLE user. Is this the password of system db user account..???
Do i have to run autoconfig after each applied patch, or once after applying the last one, or if the readme file of a patch does direct to do so....or...???
Note: i use EBS 11.5.10.2

Ah.... that's why on paragraph "Testing a Patch Before Applying It" page 3-5 (of the doc i reffered to my previous post) it is written:
".... In test mode, AutoPatch reads and validates the patch driver file, reads product file
driver files, extracts object modules from product libraries (for version checking),
performs version checking, *and runs AutoConfig (in test mode)*." Test mode means you use "option=no", this is is useful if you want to know exactly what a patch will do before applying the patch.

Except for the notes written on this doc, Is there anything else i have to be careful of as i'm going to apply my very first patch and i do not want to fail....Just make sure you take a backup, and follow the steps in the patch README file.

This fix is only applicable to Linux environments.
This patch enables you to set the environment variable LD_PRELOAD on Linux platform when you source APPSORA.env. This setting is required for running E-Business Suite on Linux x86 platforms.
Steps to apply the patch:
- Stop all application services (keep the database and the database listener up and running)
- Download the patch from Metalink
- Copy the patch file to any directory (i.e. /u04/patches)
- As 'applmgr' do the folowing:
- $ cd /u04/patches
- Type 'unzip p4632932_11i_GENERIC.zip'
- cd 4632932
- Type 'adpatch'
- When it pormpts you to enter the patch driver, type 'u4632932.drv'
Apply the patch on the database tier first then on the application tier.
Do not forget to 'Enable Maintenance Mode' from adadmin before applying the patch. Once you apply the patch successfully, 'Disable Maintenace Mode' from adadmin.

I shall suggest that instead of askng about "any" script that how will you apply it , show us a script and try to run it. If the error comes up than show us the error too so that we can work upon from that point.
