Steps to assign new key combination to existing output type

Can anyone share details about how to create a new key combination for existing output type.

Dear Dharmesh,
Go to:
IMG - Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Output Control - Output Determination - Output Determination Using the Condition Technique - Maintain Output Determination for Sales Activities - Maintain Condition Tables -
Maintain output condition table for sales activities
Click on 'Condition" from the Menu Bar. Then select "Create" from drop down menu.
Give a Table Number & press Enter.
Here select the required Feild from Feild Catalogue & Click on Generate.
Then goto:
IMG - Sales and Distribution - Basic Functions - Output Control - Output Determination - Output Determination Using the Condition Technique - Maintain Output Determination for Sales Activities - Maintain Access Sequences
Here Click on the required Access Sequence & then click on "Accesses' on the right side. Here you can assign the newly created Condition Table at required level (10, 20, 30 etc)...
Sebsequently try maintaing condition record & you will see the new Key Combination appearing.

I you have the access key - you can copy the 901 table and create a new table along with your required field. v/03
Or
in the access sequence for the condition type - add 1 more step and add your field.
ie 10 - 901
and in 20 - your required field

New key combination for access sequence

hi,
i have an active access sequence called ZBMP. There is 2 key combinations to the access sequence
5 materail / plant
10 material
I need to add a new key combination
15 - material / Pant / Distribution Channel
to the access sequence.
Can someone please help.

Hi,
Step 1: Go to V/03 and create a table with key fields(material / Pant / Distribution Channel) or Use the existing standard table.
Note the created table number.
Step 2: Go to V/07 and select your previous Access Sequence and Double click on the Access field under Dialogue structure. click new entries and specify the new table number with step number (Created in step:1).
Step 3: Now select the Line item and double click on Fields. Ignore the warning by pressing Enter Key.
Now do save.
Step 4: Check your Access sequence. New table would be added.

Implications of adding new key fields to existing table

Hi All,
I have searched forum regarding this. But didn't find exact answer.
We are planning to add new key fields to existing Ztable. I want to know the implications of this.
I have checked the where used list of table and found no impact. Only one point is making me to think again and again.
If we add key fields to existing table then we have to adjust the table from SE14 to activate it. But this adjustment doesn't ask for TR.
So if i release my TR, entries in other systems will also be adjusted accordingly??? Business is OK with the new fields values to be blank for existing entries.

Yes the data in transported systems will also be adjusted. If this table contains too much data make transport at late hours because it will take long and table can't be used while it's adjusted. In this adjustment process data is copied to a temporary table and moved back to original table using move-corresponding command after key added. There will data loss if you remove a key or key fields field length but in your case it shouldn't be a problem.

Problem in assign the delivery type to the existing output type

Hi
There is a problem in assinging the existing Output type to the delivery type.
In, NACE i have maintained the output type for the procedure and also through VV21 i have created the condition type with the combination of shipping point/delivery type.
But system automatically not determining the output type when we create the outbound delivery. This output type is to trigger the EDI in terns..
Can any one guide me what are the setting to be done for the same?

Hi,
Check whether you have maintained the condition records for output for the above combination & also the Print device in the Communication tab & Print immediately settings.
If you haven't maintained the above, do the same & check.

I have created a new Condition table(M/03) for Plant/Vendor Code/Tax code/Material,and i am getting the condition table in the key combination in FV11,and maintained,getting the values in the condition table.But my problem is i am not getting the maintained values in my Purchase Order.Please give any suggestions to solve this problem

In addtition to above reply, first check which is the last table no used. You should use table no from 501 to 999
before creating new table you can check the avilable tables.

can someone pls help me with the configuration and the steps I have to do to set up email as output type for order confirmation, delivery and shipping. Also can you tell me the programs and forms I have to select from in the condition type. Do I need to get the ABAP guys involved and what do I ask of them, how finally is it interfaced with the email. Please give me step by step for the configuration and any other set up I have to do. I am working on ECC 6.0 and I need all the help I can get.

Create Query with New Field combined with Existing InfoCube Data (BW 3.5)

Hi Everyone!
How would you recommend I handle the following situation?
I have a custom InfoCube (which I will call ZCUBE) that has been deployed to production. The business would like a new query that combines Current Standard Price along with data currently stored in ZCUBE.
Now, Current Standard Price is uniquely identified by the Material and Plant to which it is associated. These InfoObjects (Material and Plant) are characteristics of ZCUBE.
I am strugglig since the business will not allow any changes in the design of the InfoCube (i.e. add any new characteristics/key figures).
Is there a way to combine the two data sets? I attempted to use a Multi-Provider using ZCube and a custom ODS, but had no luck since the characteristics were so different. (ZCUBE has almost 50 characteristics defined)
I also have tried adding the attribute Standard Price to InfoObject Plant Material (0MAT_PLANT) but that was not helpful since 0MAT_PLANT is not included in ZCUBE.
From what I can tell I should create an InfoSet using ZCUBE and potentially a new ODS, but that isn't going to work since you can create InfoSets using InfoCubes in BW 3.5.
So... I am at a loss now. Any assistance would be appreciated!

I went ahead and created a custom ODS (Z_ODS) that contained the keys Material and Plant and had the data field Standard Price. I then created a Multi-Provider to sit on top of the custom cube and the custom ODS. Unfortunately, I am not getting the correct response since the Multi-Provider returns a union of the two infoproviders.

If I run a query just using Material and Plant in the return, the Standard Price and Key1 are returned correctly. If I include Fiscal Year in the query, the standard price is returned in a row associated to a blank Fiscal Year. See example below.

What is the impact on MM if assign new sales org to sales order type?

need to ask you guys, what is the setting need to be done if on sales side they want to assign a new sales org,distribution channel and division to sales order type for drop shipment process? Do we only need to make sure that purchase org has been assigned to company code of the sales area?

Sales Organisation has to be assigned to a company code & Sales view of the material has to extended to this new sales organisation using T code MM01.

Adding new field in an existing condition table

Dear friends,
I have an existing condition table for material exclusion with the combination of Plant and material.
Is it possible to change this table and add a field of division also?

Hi,
The optimzed solution is to better create a new sequence of fields including the division, so that a new condition table is created based on the key combination or access sequence.
You can add a new field to an existing condition table using APPEND structure facility in Se11. But once on activating the table, how will this division field get populated in the table.
But whereas if you create a new key combination, the data for this condition tables will automatically gets filled up while creating master data thro VK11.
So, its better to go for a new access sequence combination
as a new table is created for this key combinations.
