Steps to create IDOC when MB1C transaction trigger
Hello,
I want to create IDOC whever MB1C (Goods reciept) transaction is triggered. Basically I need to fill header and item data in IDOC segments and send that IDOC to 3rd party system. What are the steps need to follow in SAP to achieve this functionality. Also, if any IDOC failuer in 3rd party system, how do we re-trigger the IDOC again with the same data.
Thanks,
Shreekant
Hi Brad,
Thanks for your reply, please can you provide me the steps to create o/p type for MB1C transaction in NACE transaction?
I searched in sdn but no proper postings are available.
Waiting for your reply,
Shreekant

STEPS for creating IDOC .
I need to creat IDOC for whenever delivery is created .
Hi
Take the correct Idoc type and Message Type and process code from EDBAS and EDMSG tables and use
see the doc
Data Creation in Idoc
IDocs are text encoded documents with a rigid structure that are used to exchange data between R/3 and a foreign system. Instead of calling a program in the destination system directly, the data is first packed into an IDoc and then sent to the receiving system, where it is analyzed and properly processed. Therefore an IDoc data exchange is always an
asynchronous process. The significant difference between simple RFC-calls and IDoc data exchange is the fact, that every action performed on IDocs are protocolled by R/3 and IDocs can be reprocessed if an error occurred in one of the message steps.
While IDocs have to be understood as a data exchange protocol, EDI and ALE are typical use cases for IDocs. R/3 uses IDocs for both EDI and ALE to deliver data to the receiving system. ALE is basically the scheduling mechanism that defines when and between which partners and what kind of data will be exchanged on a regular or event triggered basis. Such a set-up is called an ALE-scenario.
IDoc is a intermediate document to exchange data between two SAP Systems.
*IDocs are structured ASCII files (or a virtual equivalent).
*Electronic Interchange Document
*They are the file format used by SAP R/3 to exchange data with foreign systems.
*Data Is transmitted in ASCII format, i.e. human readable form
*IDocs exchange messages
*IDocs are used like classical interface files
IDOC types are templates for specific message types depending on what is the business document, you want to exchange.

First you find the relative Idoc Type and Message type for that credit memo in the tables EDBAS and EDMSG

Steps to create STO using ME21N transaction
Hi,
Can anyone give me the steps to follow to create STO using ME21N transaction. When i try to create it, i am getting the error message : Not possible to determine shipping data for material 3863...
Please guide me...
Thanks in Advance,
Phani Kumar. SI got the same error it was because in customizing you specify plant master data that is linked to a customer master record. You need to make sure the customer master data is set up from a sales perspective. E.g. customer must be extended to appropriate sales org. and division. Same with the material master but the customer master was my problem. This is configuration and you will have to move it through the transport queue so if you have a problem in your production system it will require a transport.

Create IDOC when archive a material
Hi Guys
Is it possible to create an IDOC when a material is archieved using MM70. My program is working fine with creation, deletion and change but for archieving its not creating any IDOC. (I am using a zBD10 Program)
Please suggest a way.
Any help will be appreciated.
ThanksHi Avinash ,
I don;t have an authorization to check the TCOde SARA .I sugest you can do some R&D with the obejct "MM_MATNR" in the tcode SARA to check which field is changes when archiving the material
If you know which field is changed (tablename-fieldname), you can check if it is changer pointer enabled.

Why doesn't the CUA create IDOCs when adding System in SU10?
Hello experts,
I tried to use SU10 in our CUA-system to add a system to multiple users. According to SU10 protocol it worked. When I look at the users in SU01 it also seems to have worked, the system is there. But the CUA does not create the necessary USERCLONE-IDOCs. Why is that and is there any way to fix this? I have some big user changes coming up next week and I don't want to have to change about 500 users via SU01...
Thanks and regards
MarioHi Mario,
You have added just system to user in CUA, in this case CUA will not generate any IDOCS.
You should have add any role to user for child system in CUA system then only it will create IDOC.
Dont worry about mass changes, you can test CUA using some otherway like validity changes or parameter changes.
Thanks

Hi,
I'm interfacing SAP with a WMS (Warehouse mabagement system).
When a delivery is created or modified, I'm posting an idoc delvry03 to the WMS(The idoc is created through an output type).
When the delivery is deleted the output type isn't triggerd so the idoc isn't generated.
I'm looking for a way to generate an idoc delevry03 when a delivery is deleted. Does any one have an idea about how to do this.
Thanks in advance.Omar,
You are able to comfortably create IDOCS when u create/modify deliveries because of NACE and condition records. (Output Type as you have mentioned)
A deletion of a delivery is an internal process and hence
we need to track it based on events.
You can try using a BADI and create the delvry03 IDOC thru an ABAP program from there? WIll this option work? -
Create Idoc INVOIC02 when a invoice is created
Hi everybody.
Which are the necessary steps to make in order to costumize the Idoc INVOIC02 creation when a invoice is created in R3?
Thanks a lotHi again,
Ive done this steps:
1. create the output type in the nace using the output type RD04 and define the transmission medium as the EDI.
2. configure the newly created output type in the access sequence.
3. create the partner profile in the we20 transaction in partner type LS. I need to send it through Logical Systema
4. In creation of partner profile mentioned the port number to which you want to pass the idoc. define the port in we21 transaction. and in message type mentioned the INVOIC. in basic type mention the INVOIC02.
5. in message control tab define the output type for your EDI.and use the correct process code.
But the output type doesn´t appear in my invoice and if i try to add it I always get an error.
How could I fix this???? Im getting crazy!!!!
