Steps to upgrade lync 2013 beta version to lync 2013 rtm

is there way to upgrade lync 2013 beta to lync 2013 rtm
jitender

Hi,
If you are using beta product you cant in any situation to upgrade or to migrate to Lync 2013 RTM.
The main reason is, on the Active Directory there are some objects and value that are not supported with both version together.
When you will install and prepare your schema the beta version will stop functionality.
Another thing is that the beta version is expired not?
You can do something else and export your topology to tbxml file and using it on your new Lync RTM.

  • Hi there, I have an older version of 10.5.8. What is the next step to upgrade to the latest version of 10.9 Maverick

Hi there, I have an older version of 10.5.8. What is the next step to upgrade to the latest version of 10.9 Maverick?
    Thanks in Advance

If yours is a PPC iMac (G4 or G5) you cannot upgrade further.
If it is an Intel iMac:
Start by checking if you can run Snow Leopard:
Requirements for OS X 10.6 'Snow Leopard'
    http://support.apple.com/kb/SP575
(NB: PowerPC applications can still be run in Snow Leopard using Rosetta, but they will not work in later versions of OS X.)
The OS 10.6 Snow Leopard install DVD is available for $19.99 from the Apple Store:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
    and in the UK:
    http://store.apple.com/uk/product/MC573/mac-os-x-106-snow-leopard
When you have installed it, run Software Update to download and install the latest updates for Snow Leopard to bring it up to 10.6.8, or download the combo update from here:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1399
Check via Software Update whether any further updates are required, particularly to iTunes.
You should now see the App Store icon in iTunes, and you now need to set up your account:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT4479
You can now upgrade to Mavericks OS 10.9 for free IF you have one of the following Macs, with not less than 2GB of RAM, and at least 8GB of available space on your hard drive:
    iMac (Mid-2007 or later)
MacBook (13-inch Aluminum, Late 2008), (13-inch, Early 2009 or later)
    MacBook Pro (13-inch, Mid-2009 or later), (15-inch, Mid/Late 2007 or later), (17-inch, Late 2007 or later)
MacBook Air (Late 2008 or later)
Mac Mini (Early 2009 or later)
Mac Pro (Early 2008 or later)
    Xserve (Early 2009)
    iCloud system requirements:
    http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4759
If you cannot run Mavericks you can purchase the code to use to download Lion from the App Store (Lion requires an Intel-based Mac with a Core 2 Duo, i3, i5, i7 or Xeon processor and 2GB of RAM, running the latest version of Snow Leopard):
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6106Z/A/os-x-lion
    or Mountain Lion:
    http://store.apple.com/us/product/D6377Z/A/os-x-mountain-lion

  • My MacBook Pro is running on an older version of Mac OS X but will not allow me to upgrade to a newer version

My MacBook Pro is running on a 10.5.8 operating system but has not allowed me to upgrade. It has been fine for the past few years but is now getting to the point where programs are not functioning properly. What operating system should I be trying to upgrade to and what should I do in order for the upgrade to work? I have tried upgrading to Mac OS X Snow Leopard but it says that I need 10.6 in order to upgrade to Snow Leopard. The only upgrade that has begun to work has been a 10.5.6 which is a less updated version of the operating system that I'm already using. Will downloading 10.5.6 allow me to upgrade to a better version? Any help is appreciated! Thanks!

Choose About this Mac from the Apple menu and check the processor.
If it's a Core Duo Mac, click here, install the DVD, and run Software Update.
If it's a Core 2 Duo or better Mac, upgrade it as if it was a Core Duo Mac, and if desired, open the Mac App Store, and try downloading 10.9. If you get told it's incompatible, go to the online Apple Store and order a download code for Lion 10.7.
Mac OS X 10.7 and newer don't support PowerPC software such as Microsoft Office 2004. If you upgrade the OS, back up the computer first.

  • ITunes match says "matched" I delete the song to download better version and get the same bit rate

         HI,
title says it all. :-) I made a smart playlist to filter out the tracks that I can upgrade to a better version. This worked well for most of my library but there are a couple of songs that are listed at 128kbps. I delete these and then click on the cloud icon. While downloading itunes lists them at 256 but then revert to 128!
A bug? Should I report it or are other users having the same problem?
    Cheers,
    Philly

Generally setting a common Album title and Album Artist will fix things.

  • I am on windows 7 and I upgraded to 10.0.2 and now it will not open. I have removed firefox completely and uploaded it again and that did not work. So my latest attempt I removed firefox 10 again and uploaded the beta version and once again nothing.

I am on windows 7 and I upgraded to the newest verison of firefox and now it will not open. I have removed firefox completely and uploaded it again and that did not work. I then made sure it could get through my firewall and that did not work. So my latest attempt I removed firefox 10 again and uploaded the beta version hoping that would do it and once again nothing. It will not open at all. Please help - is there a live chat or a number to talk to someone at Firefox?

I think when uninstalling you may also have to choose (tick) to delete the preferences and other personal data like the bookmarks, stored passwords etc. to erase completely. If you are installing afresh, please try right-clicking on the file and '''Run as administrator''' to install. And when uninstalling, please also make sure choose to delete all data and also manually delete any '''Mozilla''', '''Mozilla Firefox''' or '''Firefox''' from %appdata%, %localappdata% and %programfiles%. You can open a location by typing for eg. %appdata% in the '''Run''' box (Windows key + R). You may also have to check the '''VirtualStore''' folder in %localappdata%. Files in the VirtualStore can be problematic. I think a clean installation may help.

  • Steps to upgrade my Oracle version from 11.1.0.6 to 11.2.0.1 in windows.

Can anyone help me with the steps to upgrade my Oracle version from 11.1.0.6 to 11.2.0.1 in windows.
    Thanks in advance.

If you are going to upgrade, you should upgrade to the latest 11gR2 patchset (currently 11.2.0.4). At a high level -
    1. Install 11.2.0.4 into a new separate ORACLE_HOME - see MOS Doc 1562139.1 and Contents
    2. Apply the latest 11.2.0.4 PSU bundle available for Windows - see MOS Doc 1454618.1
    3. Use DBUA to perform the upgrade - MOS Doc 870814.1 and Contents

  • I have upgraded Acrobat Standard from version 8 through time until I am currently using version X, which doesn't work with Office 2013.  Can I upgrade to version Standard XI?

Over the years I have upgraded Acrobat Standard from version 8 to currently working with version X.
However, since getting a new laptop it doesn't work with Office 2013.
Can I upgrade to Standard XI?

Upgrade pricing now only applies to version 9 and X. So if you have a retail serial number for X, you should be able to upgrade. (Or consider subscription).

  • I'm running the beta (not GM) version of Lion. How do I upgrade to the full version?

I'm running the developer beta version of Lion right now. When I try to update to the full version in the Mac App Store I get a message saying I have to remove the existing app first.
    Obviously, that seems impossible.
    What do I do?

    billyfromjersey city wrote:
I see there are a lot of new people to the developer world. If you have the GM release, you have the final. There is no need to format or reinstall. You have the same version as people are downloading today. When apple releases a point upgrade you will be able to update just like everyone else because the developer GM is the same as what has been released today. I have been a beta tester and developer all the way back to osx 10.0 so trust me you already have what apple released today.
All of that may no longer be true in Lion. The Mac App Store changes things. I would check the developer site for details when things settle down a bit.

You say you have iOS 7. If you are a developer you have access to the private OS 7 developer's forum
iOS 7 Developer forum- Apple Developer
Otherwise you are on your own

  • Upgrading from JSF first beta version to version 1.2

Anyone knows where to get full list of all release changes between first beta version and version 1.2? Even better if anyone has done such an upgrade before. Please advise time frame and points to note. Many thanks!

This is exactly the same problem I have had, despite down loading several times (just in case), and even using a different machine (again, just in case). Needless to say, the query I posted on the Apple Logic help site has not been responded to!
Fortunately, Logic Express still works but it would be nice to be running the latest (functioning) version

    Hi,
    Upgrade steps
    1. Install 11.2.0.3.0 rdbms software
11.2.0.3 patch set is a full release.
Beginning with the release 11.2.0.3 patch set, you have two ways to apply a patch set

  • Steps to Upgrade to Leopard from 10.39 ~please~

Hello all, thanks in anticipation that someone will help me upgrade or know what are the cheapest steps to take to do so and enable me to use the "MacFamily Tree 5" please. I wanted to buy a version of it for my OS X 10.3.9 but cannot find it at the Apple site now. I would like to upgrade this computer to the latest version and to have 'Windows' would be cool. How do I check if I have enough space in the Hard Drive for upgrades though? I only use my puter for online stuff mainly. Thank you for any help you can offer me

    freedone,
Your Non-Intel PPC iMac can only be upgraded to Tiger 10.4.x, as it does not meet the Leopard System Requirements.
-Mac computer with an Intel, PowerPC G5, or PowerPC G4 (867MHz or faster processor) Yours is 600MHZ, which cannot be upgraded.
-512MB of memory You have 256MB, which you can add to, and should, if you install Tiger 10.4.x.
-DVD drive for installation The 600MHZ iMac, shipped with a DC-RW drive, so unless you have replaced it, with a DVD drive, you do not have one. There are alternate methods of installing Tiger 10.4.x, without one though. More info posted below.
-9GB of available disk space You currently do not have sufficient available free space. More info posted below.
With some upgrading of the iMac's Hardware, to meet the Tiger System Requirements, you can upgrade to that version. More info posted below.
    "...19.07 GB 837.7 MB free."
You are dangerously low on available Hard Drive free space!
Backup the system ASAP, and then create additional drive space!
Insufficient available space, can cause performance issues, system corruption, and possible loss of data.
Depending on Mac system usage habits, it is a general recommendation, to keep 10% to as much as 20%, of the Total capacity, available at all times.
Review the suggestions, in the documents that I have linked to below.
    Authored by Dr Smoke:
Problems From Insufficient RAM And Free Hard Disk Space

Maintaining Mac OS X, authored by Dr Smoke
Is the Mac shutdown overnight, or does it run 24/7?
Have you ever run any routine Maintenance procedures?
If you turn the PowerBook off nightly, the Background Maintenance Tasks, are never run.
These can also be run, using a Third-Party utility, or manually using Terminal, to run the CRON Commands.
    I use MacJanitor, when necessary.
INSTRUCTIONS TO RUN CRON MANUAL COMMANDS
    Quit all applications/programs.
Navigate to HD > Applications > Utilities.
Double click on Terminal, to open.
    At the prompt, type:
    sudo periodic daily
    Press Return.
Enter your Admin password when prompted, then press Return.
This will execute the daily script that is sheduled to run every night.
When completed, repeat this procedure, but change the command to:
    sudo periodic weekly
This one rebuilds a database or two, and usually takes somewhat longer to complete. It is scheduled to run once a week.
    Repeat again, with command:
    sudo periodic monthly
Or they can all be run in one pass, which is preferable, with this command:
    sudo periodic daily weekly monthly
When the tasks complete, and return to the prompt, you may quit Terminal.
Restart the Mac, and run Repair Permissions.
TO REPAIR PERMISSIONS ON THE STARTUP DISK
1.Open Disk Utility, located in Applications/Utilities, and select the startup disk in the left column.
    2.Click First Aid.
3.Click Verify Disk Permissions to test permissions or Repair Disk Permissions to test and repair permissions. (I never "Verify". Just run "Repair".)
Rerun RP, until the only messages reported, are listed here Spurious Permissions Errors Using: 10.3.x, authored by Michael Conniff.
When "Repair Permissions" is complete. Quit "Disk Utility".
Mac OS X Versions 10.1, 10.2, 10.3, 10.4, and 10.5, are complete system upgrades that must be purchased.
Once an OS has been installed, the point upgrades, such as 10.1.x to 10.1.5 (Final) 10.2.x to 10.2.8 (Final), 10.3.x to 10.3.9 (Final), 10.4.x to 10.4.11 (Pending), and 10.5.x to 10.5.1 (Pending), can be downloaded for free.
Tiger is available for purchase at The Apple Store (U.S.).
If you know what to look for, a Full Retail Version, of the Tiger Install DVD, can be purchased, sometimes less expensively, at some online Apple retailers, Amazon, eBay, FastMac, HardCore Mac, AllMac, etc.
Be sure not to purchase grey, upgrade or machine specific CDs or DVDs.
The disc should look exactly like the images in the above links, and not say Upgrade, CPU Drop-in DVD, or "This software is part of a hardware bundle purchase - not to be sold seperately." on it.

Once Tiger 10.4.x is installed, you can use the PPC 10.4.11 Combo Update, to upgrade to the current version.
Additionally, Tiger 10.4.x ships on a DVD, so if your Mac doesn’t have a built-in DVD-ROM player, you will have to use an alternative method of installation.
