Stereo Vision and Light Projection (or structured light)

Hello!
I'm looking for examples for the technologies mentioned in the subject. Anyone has dealt with these? If yes, can he share an example about them?
I have found an example for Stereo Vision in Vision Development Module's help, but I'm looking for other ones, and so far no success finding any.
I would be helped out with a Light Projection example aswell.

Also, I am attaching a set of VI's (LV2012) that I used some time ago to obtain depth image from stereo image pair. They consist of three different stages:
1. Images acquisition,
2. Stereo calibration,
3. Measurements.
When there is enough (distinct) texture on the measured surface, the projector is not neccessary. But in low texture setups, it can greatly enhance the quality of the measured data. If the projector is used, take care that the pattern is as random as possible. This should give the correlation algorithm a good basis. Take a look at the following paper:

Project / Package structure..

I am currently prototyping some relatively simple BC4J / Struts / JSP applications in JDev.
I have followed the toystore demo which seems to have a nice clear and logical project / package structure for working with the MVC architecture.
However, i have found it very difficult to actually recreate this template when building my own prototypes using the built in wizards.
Example :
I have a Model.jpr separated into packages for BO / VO / services.
I want to create my Struts components (action classes and xml config) in a Controller.jpr and my presentation JSPs in a View.jpr
When using the web-tier wizards (JDev9.03) for a "complete struts based application" i can see no clear way of separating out the components ? It will package up the action classes into a package that i had no choice in creating / naming !?
I realise that if i use the subset wizards i have more control over where components are created (i.e. create an empty struts-xml, then add individual action classes etc. ) but it seems a shame that we can't do this within the complete application wizard.
Also,is there a way to create a new package without creating a "empty" business components package ? I have found myself creating the folder structure from windows explorer with a dummy java file in the relevant directory, then importing and editing the class to ensure compliance with my project design ?
How do you guys achieve these goals ?

Opening/storing Visio and MS Project Files

We are using Teeming for a small team shared across two sites. They want to store and use Vision and MS Project files.
Using standard MS Office documents seems to work fine, access via Teeming works as expected.
When opening Visio or Project files, they have to 'download' the file first, make changes and resave the document back up into Teeming. Not so smooth.
Is this a restriction of Teeming? Can we get this to work as other Office docs?
Teeming is V2.0 on SLES.

Copying cameras and lights

Is there a way to copy cameras and lights (along with properties, keyframes, etc.) from one project to another?

Couple ways:
1) drag your cameras and lights to your favorites folder or to the file browser, then drag them into the new project
2) with both projects open and positioned so you can see both layers tabs, drag the cameras and lights directly to the layers tab of the new project

Light cyan and light magenta ink...

I am setting up a project that is going to be printed by a CcMmYK printer. I need to have the ink that my printer is using for my project tested by a lab for safety reasons (this is a children's product that I am producing). What I need to know is how do I create a color swatch on Illustrator that will be printed only using the light cyan ink and another swatch that will use only the light magenta ink?

First idea - can't you just send an ink cartridge to the lab? That would be easier than what follows.
Most of the printers I know of don't have a way to directly specify that you want to use light Cyan vs. regular Cyan. These printers generally take CMYK input (or even RGB) and internally they do separation/screening to CcMmYK.
What you should do is to create a set of swatches of varying tint values (ex: 50c 45c 40c 35c 30c etc.) and print these. Examine them with a high powered loupe to see if you can see the difference between Cyan dots and Light Cyan dots. If you can't see it, try creating patterns like concentric squares with the dark tint as the outside square and the light square as the inside one. Once you know what tint percent produces Light Cyan and Light Magenta, you're set.
Note 1: Many printers have unique halftone screens for each media type, so make sure you do this experiment on the final media.
Note 2: You may also have to figure out how to print with color management turned completely off, not only in Illustrator, but also in the printer. With color management on, there is a good chance that a Cyan swatch in Illustrator will not print as only Cyan. If there is no way to turn it off then you will need to experiment with different RGB values in Illustrator to see if you can find one that prints as pure Cyan.

Problem with Absolute Navigation (External Window) and Light Framework Page

Hi All,
We are using Light Framework page for the portal devolopment. We have an application including two webdynpro iviews where absolute navigation is used to traverse from first iview to second iview (When user clicks a button on first iview). We are showing the second iview in external window (SHOW_EXTERNAL). When ever i clicks the button to traverse to second iview, i am getting an exception.
When we are showing it in same window (SHOW_INPLACE), it is working fine. But the iview is appeared in half of the page with scrollbars. It is working fine with default framework page (with both options SHOW_INPLACE and SHOW_EXTERNAL) and dispalyed in original size as mentioned in iview properties.
Could you please suggest us whether there is any work around for this.

I couldn't see the address bar of the window (In which second iview is getting displayed). But i can observe no parameters that i passed from first iview is visible in the view source of the second iview (When SHOW_EXTERNAL is used in absolute navigation). I could see all the parameters in the view source (when SHOW_INPLACE is used for absolute navigation). But i am using the same url for both the options (for SHOW_INPLACE and SHOW_EXTERNAL).
I doubt about the url being passed when SHOW_EXTERNAL option is used. But when we checked in debug, The correct url is being triggered (Atleast from first iview). Is there any way that could display the second window with address bar. What is making difference between SHOW_INPLACE and SHOW_EXTERNAL with absolute navigation and light framework page.
Could someone please suggest.

What is the difference when bouncing a Logic Pro X project to Stereo Mode and Normal Mode?

I was was working on a Logic Pro X Project which I am using as a Sequence for a band. When I completed my project, I mixed for left side to hear the Click track and I panned everything else to the right side. After I completed my project, I bounced to Mp3 in Normal Stereo Mode and after opening in iTunes I discovered that I am hearing the click on the right track. I again bounced and tried the Joint Stereo Mode thinking that would fix it but I still get the click track on both left and right. What is the difference between bouncing to Normal and Joint Stereo.
My goal is to produce a 2 track Mp3 Sequence so that all my click track is only heard on the left side and the produced audio is heard only on the right side.
Any suggestions?

FIrst, try to bounce to uncompressed aiff or wave and see if you get perfectL-R separation.
The compression algorithm does its voodoo and maybe some of the left right separation gets messed up with it.
About Joint Stereo.
The idea behind is to save data. The algorithm analyzes the stereo signal, when it sees signals/frequencies that are in the left and right channel, then it says, "having the same signal on the left and right channel is the same as storing only one channel (mono ), and when played back send that one channel to the left and right speaker. it saves you half the storage/transmission". However, you have to trust the voodoo again to think that if what comes out is the same as what went in.
If size and transmission speed isn't an issues, don't use Joint Stereo.

Either - if you need the 'ultimate' in portability, buy the Air. But whichever you buy, make sure that you max out the RAM and the storage as neither the Air or the Retina MacBook Pro are user upgradeable.

Replacement - Hue Saturation and lightness do not show

I am trying to replace color - However the Replace Color dialog box does not show the replacement panel containing Hue Saturation and Lightness. I am working on a psd file set as RGB. How do I get the Replacement panel to show?

Are you using the Color Replacement TOOL (from the toolbar) but thinking of the Replace Color COMMAND (from Image>Adjustments>Replace Color)?
The tool does not have a dialog box but the command does. The similarity of the tool and command names is unfortunate and has surely misled a lot of users.

Trouble with Photoshop CC 3D and Lighting Effects errors

I can not use Lighting Effects and 3D because of these errors keep appear
I have 4GB RAM and I already checked 'Use Graphics Processor' box. Photoshop CS6 works fine with the same setting but Photoshop CC doesn't. Video card and RAM didn't cause these errors. I think it's Photoshop CC. I want to use only Photoshop CC and remove Photoshop CS6 but I can't because I still need to use 3D and Lighting Effects. That cost my hard drive memory to use 2 Photoshop versions at the same time.
I already removed both of them clearly and reinstalled but it doesn't work.
