Stereotype definitions, where can I find them ?

UML diagrammer for Entities and ViewObjects uses stereotypes.
Where can I find the definitions of such stereotypes ?
Where can I find profile definitions ?
Can I extend them ?

Tks for Your help.
However the answer You gave me is not exactly what I needed.
Looking in the documentation I didn't find any "formal" documentation, in UML syntax, of the definition of stereotypes used in the UML ADF diagrammer.
Looking into some files I found the .xsd of Business Components but it's not the same thing.
Could You show me where can I find the required documentation ?
