Stick of Truth Pre-Order In-Store Missing

So, the Stick of Truth has launched!  I had pre-ordered this game for the PC some time ago, and when I went in on the 4th to pick it up, the store said they hadn't received any PC copies.  Additionally, none of the stores in the whole Illinois area had them.  Two days later, nothing seems to have changed, and no one is able to give me an ETA or anything.  Is there any word on PC pre-orders for this title?

    I am happy to review your order with you today.  It appears your order has been acknowledged by the warehouse, and should be processed for shipping soon.  I do not have any reason to believe there has been a problem with the pre-order process for these games.  It seems this one was just very recently ordered and there is typically about a day for the processing component of an order.  I would expect you will get a shipping confirmation email soon.

  • Stick of Truth pre order....$20 or $10 reward certificate?

    So I have a question, that I would love to have answered as a LONG time elite plus, rewards zone silver, and gamerzone unlocked member.
    If you can recall when South Park: Stick of Truth was originally able to be pre ordered it qualified for the $20 back in reward zone certificates.  Since that point the program has changed, been altered, and things have happened.  I did not expect to wait well over a year for the game.  Will people who preordered, kept the gamerzone unlocked, still be allowed to get the $20 certificate or is that out of the question?  
    I think that even though the program has changed, that is the last game to ever be offered under that program, and it should be honored.  It was one of my driving factors in pre ordering.

    Good question! As long as you were a Gamers Club Unlocked member at the time of the "Victory Can Be Pre-Ordered" offer and you pre-order South Park: the Stick of Truth prior to its release date and purchase it within 7 days of when the game becomes available, you are still eligible for $20 in certificates.   • South park stick of truth pre-order issues?

    on 1/28 i got an email stating that my pre-order for south park stick of truth on the 360 had been back ordered and that i could choose to cancel if i didn't want to wait an extra week or two to recieve my game.
    on 1/29 i got an email stating that there was an an error and the order was updated and my game would be shipped on release date.
    on 2/3 i got an email stating that the game was on back order again and to cancel if i wished or to do nothing and recieve my game as soon as best buy got more in stock.
    today, 2/4 i recieved another email stating that best buy hadn't recieved any copies of the game yet and my order was cancelled.
    so uhhh, whats the deal here?

    I'm sorry to hear that you have not yet heard from the Bayamon store about your pre-order.
    Generally speaking, for items pre-ordered in our stores, you should have five days to pick up your product. For the best and most accurate information, however, I recommend contacting or visiting the store.

  • My Super smash bros Wii U pre order because i pre ordered in store and placed a $5 deposit

    Let me share what I was told when I arrived at best buy store. By the way I will file a complaint to corporate about this and will see about filing it to better business bureau... I pre ordered my smash brothers bundle in store ( couldn't do it online because there are issues with my account for a year now and after numerous calls to fix it which I have been given so many ticket numbers,best buy just cant fix their own mistakes). I arrive at the store to pick up my pre order and the employee responds with a dissapointing tone"don't tell me you preordered the bundle." the employee just walks back and forth. She then asks her co-worker which she then tells me "we don't have your preorder...we only filled orders for the people who preordered online and fully paid the game." I asked for a manager and told him this is the second time best buy has messed up my pre orders and provide me with poor service. He then says that they only filled the orders from online purchases and who paid in full which makes me feel like I didn't matter only because I placed a $5.00 deposit to guarantee my copy.overall I received poor customer service, he did not own the situation and didn't offer at least some type of compensation to a "former" loyal elite customer. In general, best buy has given me poor service throughout the year by not fixing my ability to order online for a year, messing up my pre order of Mario kart 8 by charging me for the free $10 gift card which was supposed to be free for pre ordering the game and then refusing to give me a refund for the $10 charge, and finally telling me that even though I pre ordered, because I didn't pay the bundle in full I don't get my copy at all... Not even a phone call,common courtesy to notify me. This is it! Best buy will never get business from me and I will never recomment it to anyone. Amazon on the other hand does everything right, and owns the situations and strive to make things right.Amazon is now my go to for shopping all electronic and entertainment needs. Amazon even allowed me to place a new order for the bundle and will receive it next week versus best buy saying " we don't know when we will get them." In short I cancelled my pre order from best buy and took my business elsewhere. Finally when I asked the supervisor for corporate's contact information, he refused to provide it. Now I need to check online and hunt down that information

    Reading through your description of events I can certainly understand why you would be disappointed.  It is not our intent to leave any customers out when they pre-order a product with us.  While we are working to fulfill our in-store pre-orders that were not yet completed, I can also understand your desire to cancel the order and go where you could get an order shipped out to you.  I am sorry that was not us this time.
    I will certainly document your feedback so that we can learn from it and ensure that our stores are adequately equipped to fulfill orders as our first priority, but provide all care and courtesy when things don't go quite as intended.

  • Please explain 3G-s Pre-Order for Store Pickup procedure

    I've done this but what exactly does this get me? The fine print says +'Pre-authorization does not guarantee iPhone availability at an Apple Retail Store. iPhone is sold on a first-come, first-served basis'.+
    So what exactly is the benefit to going this route? Will a separate and earlier line be opened up at Apple stores JUST for these pre-orders on the 19th?

    One of the floor reps at the Apple Store here told me that if I go through the process and reserve online, then I can just come into the store to finish the purchase. I asked if that would mean that there will be one there waiting on me and I was told yes there would.
    While she did not say this I am taking that to mean that say a store gets 10,000 phones and 5,000 reserved then they would only release 5,000 for people waiting in line.

    I'm planning to buy the new iPod touch. What's the quickest way to get it, pre ordering it, or buying it in-store when it comes out?

    I expect if you pre-oder you will get the iPod the same day as available in stores.

  • 500 Pre-Order Bonus Points Missing

    I have several games I've pre-ordered and picked up this year but I can't seem to find the bonus points and I can't look back more than 90 days.  The most recent is COD: MW but there have been others.  I have GCU and have followed the rules.  Can somebody look into this?

    Like enuf mentioned, it typically takes 15-20 days from the time of shipment or pickup for pre-order bonus certificates to post. We also recently changed how My Best Buy account details appear on BestBuy.com in order to streamline user experience for the Thanksgiving shopping season, as Derek-BBY explained here. I'd be glad to look into this situation on your behalf though, so please make sure to check your private messages when you can.

    Can I pay off a pre order before the title is released?

    That’s a great question! Pre-ordering games in-store comes with the luxury of only needing to put down a deposit of $5 on most video game pre-orders. However, we do know that at times, our customers would like to just pay the deposit in full and be done with it! I’ll gladly clarify the details around deposits on in-store pre-orders at Best Buy.
    As zztoluca has stated, the $5 deposit when pre-ordering in-store is only a minimum amount needed to secure your copy of any given game. If you wish to pay the full amount, you should be able to do so at the time of pre-order only. I don’t believe you can add to an existing deposit once the pre-order has been created. Also, for clarification, if you’re a Gamers Club Unlocked (GCU) member, you likely won’t see your GCU benefits apply until you pick up the game and fully complete the transaction. GCU benefits usually do not reflect on the pre-order receipt itself.

  • In Store Pre Order

    This has been an on going problem that I hope can get fixed. I went in store today. The games I wanted were finally on the videogame kiosk machine to order. Print out all the games I want. Go to the counter and none of the games work. I couldn't pre order not one game I wanted. By the time the system gets fixed of course they will be sold out and I will be out of luck. The games were Rock Band 4. The Division Collectors Edition and Fallout Pipboy edition. Fallout just appeared on the machine and of course it's sold out. Can I get some help with this please so I can pre order in store

    We appreciate that you came to your local Best Buy store for your game pre-orders, but I’m sorry to hear about the disappointment you experienced when you weren’t actually able to reserve these games.
    Generally, collectors/limited editions of games are not available for pre-order in-store.  Regrettably, there are occasions where these titles accidently get listed on the touchscreen kiosk when they shouldn’t.  In those cases, you usually don’t find out until you get to the register and the store can’t actually do the pre-order. 
    As of right now, we have not started taking pre-orders for Rock Band 4, but hopefully this should be up soon.  Unfortunately, we are now sold out on pre-orders for Fallout 4: Pip-Boy Edition and Tom Clancy’s The Division Collector’s Edition is only available for pre-order to ship to your home.

  • NOTE 4 Pre-order Incentive

    I believe with this huge fiasco with bestbuy not delivering the NOTE4 with shortage stock, they should give people who pre-orders an incentive.
    Waiving activation sounds like it would be within reasonable bounds.
    Extending this offer out for two weeks seems like Bestbuy got the short end of the stick with stock. Now, they're just giving everyone the regurgitated answer of "Please wait for your email" to cover up the whole fiasco instead of the truth.
    What is everyone else's thoughts?

    We do not have any control over product availability for Note 4 pre-orders, as this can be impacted by manufacturer availability or shipping concerns.  A pre-order with Best Buy does not guarantee availability of a product on street date, only that you will have the ability to purchase it before our walk-in customers when inventory is available.  As such, we would not be able to provide any compensation or incentive for pre-orders that have yet to be fulfilled.
    Expedited shipping simply means that we will ship your order to arrive within 2 business days; it does not impact processing time, which can take longer due to product availability.  We would not be able to refund the expedited shipping cost unless the order does not arrive with 2 business days of being shipped.  You can find more information on our Shipping Costs and Timing here.
    To be able to benefit from the Note 4 $200 trade-in offer, you did have to pre-order in-store.  Orders placed through BestBuy.com for shipping or in-store pickup do not qualify for the promotion.

  • Buy Stick of Truth and get South Park seasons 15/16 for $10 each question

    So i've had South Park Stick of Truth preordered for in store pickup for a few weeks now, and this deal just appeared in the ad this week. When I pickup, will I have an issue since it's not on the same reciept and how do I go about getting this offer without ruining my preorder(and thus losing my $10 reward)?

    Thank you for pre-ordering South Park: The Stick of Truth from Best Buy.  It's finally here!  
    As you mentioned, the game and season packs must be on the same order or receipt in order to be eligible for the discount.  In your case I would not recommend cancelling your pre-order to purchase the season packs, as you would lose out on pre-order content  and the cost savings would be offset by losing the Get $10 offer.  If you would like to purchase South Park season 15 or 16 online, you can do so by following the link here.

  • Sprint Note 4 pre-order disappointment... Rant and questions!

    The only reason I still shop at best buy was because prior to my current experience their price matching couldn't be beat.
    I understand that patience is a venture and I will receive my pre-order eventually, but I find that I feel like I am continously being told tomorrow. It's clear that there is a lack of communication to each branch about stock or pre-order fulfilment.
    I am also irritated because I have a 30$ coupon from my rewards that is most likely going to expire before I even get my phone.
    What I am looking for is a clear way to get a date of the arrival of my pre-order.
    Being told I can come in when I get an email seems like a cop-out. I just want a clear answer so I know when to expect my item. Not to be scrolling through junk mail to see if maybe I am one of the lucky ones (heaven forbid you miss that email since they put a 24 hour restriction on you to pick it up.)
    Also would love a straight forward answers.
    Is best buy selling any note 4s outside of a pre-order?
    If I am able to fulfill my pre-order at a different best buy then my original location?
    Last question!
    Why should I ever come back?
    I rather hear that the employees don't know, then be given false hope. All those things that can be price matched I can just buy from the competition at the lower price.

    There’s quite a buzz around the new Samsung Galaxy Note 4 (understandably so), and if it weren’t for the fact that I just got a new smartphone a few months ago, this would be one I’d be interested in too.  From a personal perspective, waiting for new electronics can excruciating as I like to get my hands on my devices as soon as humanly possible. It’s understandable that you’d want to know when your phone is arriving, and I’m sorry for any frustration you’ve possibly endured while trying to figure this out.
    Best Buy does make an effort to procure as much inventory as possible for new releases; however, sometimes the demand is higher than anticipated! If this happens, we realize that it can cause unintentional frustration and to avoid that, it sounds like you placed an online order for in store pickup. When an online order for store pickup is placed, we do ask that you wait for an email that confirms your purchase is available. I understand your eagerness to get your hands on your new Note 4 though, so I’m sure it’s disappointing to find that we didn’t have your order ready on release date.
    While we do fulfill pre-orders based on the date on which we first receive them, each store has their own list of pre-orders to honor. For example, store A has 30 pre-orders and store B has 15. If both stores receive 20 phones on release date, store A will notify the first 20 people on their pre-order list that their phone is ready for pickup. Their 10 remaining pre-orders will then have to wait until a new shipment arrives. On the other hand, store B will notify their 15 customers that their phones are ready, and the five phones will be placed on the shelf for all to purchase.
    Having said this, I understand why you’d want to know when your phone is due to arrive. We’d hate to give you an exact date should your shipment incur a delay, so as a way to avoid any potential disappoint with unintentional incorrect dates, we should be providing you an email once your phone is available for pick up. Once you receive this, you should have 48 hours to pick up your phone.  I apologize for any frustration that this waiting may be causing.
    Your My Best Buy certificate is another thing entirely. It sounds like you might have resolved this already, but on the off chance you still require assistance with this, please send me a private message with your full name and My Best Buy account number and I’ll be glad to see what options are available to assist you.
