Stick Show/Hide Dock Status with each Space ?

Hi,
I'd like to save the Show/Hide status of the Dock with each and every Space, so that for example I can always see the Dock on Space 1 where I have my Mail, iChat, iCal and other apps which use their Dock icons to notify me of new events, but I never want to see it on Space 3 or 4 where I only have Aperture or Logic on my entire screen.
Then I wouldn't have to press commandoptionD to show or hide the Dock each time after switching to a different Space.
Is that somehow possible ?

Can't open show / hide dock after 10.6.4 update

I choose to hide my dock in systems prefs. When I do, I move my mouse to the bottom of the screen to see if it pops up and it won't show. This never happened to be before the update. Also selecting things has gone all wonky. When I click on my downloads folder, it acts as if I'm still holding down the mouse. This also makes it incredibly difficult to navigate flash websites. Thoughts?

I've upgraded to 10.6.4 and I don't seem to have your problems. Try un-checking hide dock in preference and checking it again.

My tabs no longer show the correct icon with each one, just generic ones now?

I have Windows 8.1 and the newest version of Firefox. My tabs used to show the website icon for each tab. Now there are only 4 correct icons and the others have a generic blue disc in a box. I liked just having the recognizable icons. Can I get that back?

You can check these prefs on the <b>about:config</b> page and make sure that they have the default value true.

You can open the <b>about:config</b> page via the location bar and you can accept the warning and click "I'll be careful" to continue.

My full search window shows the search results with large space between each result

I have updated to Maverick on my iMac, my full search window now shows my results with massive gaps between each result, how do I change this?

Show-Hide Dock Preferences Problem

Recently experiencing intermittent Preferences reset to show Dock all the time. Anyone else having this problem and a possible fix? TIA

The "Standard (PPR)" template is included in all the builtin themes since version 2.0. But if you have upgraded your Apex installation from an earlier version, the upgrade process will NOT stick that template in your existing apps/themes.
To get it, the easiest way is to install the Sample Application (Home>Create Application > Sample Application), choose the theme you want (to match your actual application) and proceed to install the sample application.
Now go to your app, go to the page you are on, click on the + next to the Templates in the 3rd column and choose Report template, "As a copy of a ...", choose the Sample app you just installed, and select the Standard PPR template.
Now all you need to do is go to Report Attributes and switch your report template to this new template and the column header sorting will not refresh the page so your Hide/Show region will stay open.

Actually I want to do something a bit fancier and save it in a collection so multiple pages and pages can be saved across user sessions

AppleScript - Show/Hide dock when ScreenSharing Session starts/ends

I'd love to have an Apple Script that shows me my Dock when a screen sharing Session starts, and hides it again when the session ends. And it should do this automatically

Show/Hide Div Layer with CSS (k)

Is there a way you can control the visibility of a Div Layer
without
Javascript? Using CSS perhaps?
Even though a small percentage doesn't have Javascript
enabled, I need
to have something to show. In this case a webpage that has
button when
clicked shows a layer.

You click and something happens. We're talking about web
pages here, not OS
controls -- so a Windows flyout menu that initializes on
click, works on
mouseover, and closes onclick is not necessarily a good
analogy. I would bet

Show/hide elements

Hi
In DW8 I often used the possibility to put several layers on
top of eachother with images in them, this way I could show/hide
layers so the images would be visible when having a mouse-over
action on a thumbnail for example.
Now DW-CS3 gives the option show/hide elements, however, I
can not simply put elements on top of eachother, which is what I
want.
Am I stuck on using DW8 and the show/hide layers option, or
is there a way to put multiple images (elements) on top of
eachother in DW-CS3?

The functionality is identical in CS3, just the terms have
changed.
Layers (8) = AP Divs (CS3)
Show/Hide Layers (8) = Show/Hide Elements (CS3)
Go to the AP Elements panel (F2 or Window > AP Elements)
and ensure that 1)
all AP Elements are stacked on top of each other (ie there
are no child
elements which are shown by the name being indented in the
list); 2) each
Element has a unique Z index (if not re-number them manually
so they're
unique).
Then apply the Show-Hide Elements behavior to each AP
Element.

We need to show/hide dynamically columns in our Report RDLC form based by the user desire needs.
We need by the predefined checkboxes to set which columns should be seen and which should be hidden.
Is it possible in RDLC form to make it "show/hide columns dynamically" with any way?

Depends on what you mean dynamically, you still need to press the view report button.
What you can do is right click on the column you want to be able to hide/display in design mode,
click "Column visibilty", choose "show or hide based on an expression" then in your expression base your true or false on a boolean parameter for each column

Issue with page processing - confirmation message & show /hide a button..

I am working on a to do list application.
I have events and for each event, I show list of tasks (grouped in reports based on the calculated task's status).
In one region I have a drop down list of events and a Select Event button.
For each task, I had to create a CLOSE option (initially I used a link, but the requester wanted a confirmation before closing the task).
Now I have a checkbox for each task (generated dynamically with apex_item.checkbox(1,task_id)).
Closing a task in my application means to set the end_date to sysdate.
I followed the instructions from
http://download-west.oracle.com/docs/cd/B31036_01/doc/appdev.22/b28839/check_box.htm#CEGEFFBD. I've created also a button and a process and updated the sql from "delete" to "update".
The process is set: OnSubmit - After Computations and Validations; Run Process Once per page visit (default).
The issue number 1 is that I see the confirmation message (that tasks have been closed) every time I reload the page (the same when I click Select_event button).. not only after I press on that Close_task button..
For issue number 2, I have to mention that I've added a condition to show / hide the Close_task button, only if I have at least 1 task in the report.
The issue number 2 is that I see the button only if I click 2 times on the Select_Event button.. The same is for hide.
I feel like I am missing something very important about how to synchronize different events(buttons clicks), processes..
help..?

As soon as write here, I find the answer!
Issue 1: I fixed it by specifying this: When Button Pressed (Process After Submit When this Button is Pressed) and my button. I miseed this 1st time.
Issue 2: I moved the button after the report.. and now it's working just fine!
I did this about it for some time before asking the question here.. but I just had to write here and got the right answer ;)

Is there a way to show / hide email campaign newsletter opt-in form based on current opt-in status?

We have a secure zone with email campaign opt-in as both a part of the registration form and as a stand alone form for users logged into the secure zone.
We want to only show the opt-in form to users who are not already registered for the campaign, but cannot find a way to do this via modules / tags / liquid / API.
I have searched the forums and cannot believe this is not possible. If not possible, it should be put on the list of development requests.
Is this possible and if not, any suggestions?
The best workaround I can think of is to use a CRM field to track campaign opt-in status and then js/css or liquid to show / hide the form.

You won't be able to have a page showing 24 charts per host.
I really think that it is a bad idea to create a group per host, just to have the ability to add many charts.
The maintenance effort will be a big penalty.

Dock show/hide and magnification sudden problem

MacBook (early 2009) running SnowLeopard from an external hard drive.
Suddenly this morning the dock froze in several respects. It wouldn't "show" automatically when moused to. It won't magnify when an icon is moused over. When the show/hide is turned off in the preferences, the dock displays with no magnification (regardless of magnification being on or off). I can launch a program from the stationary dock, THEN the magnification suddenly appears and won't go away from the screen until I switch to another program using cmd.-tab. What's going on and how can I fix this?

Try doing a Dock restart using the following Terminal command:
killall Dock
Log out/in and test. If that doesn’t work, you need to look in your user Library/Applications Support/Dock for the .db. Use the Finder “Go To Folder” command. Enter ~/Library/Applications Support/Dock. Move the .db to your desktop.
Then try a dock reset.
Applications/Utilities/Terminal enter the command
killall Dock
Log out/in test. If it works okay, delete the .db from the desktop.
If the Dock is the same, return the .db to where you got them from, overwriting the newer ones.

Photoshop 13 why are my imported photos next to each other with no space between them as in other version

I just got the new photoshop 13. I started to import photos and each picture buts up to each other. there is no info under it and when I edit it there is no expand button next to the picture to expand the version set. How do I change this?
