Stickies that sync to my iPhone?

i am trying to finalize my "notes organization". I've been through Omni Focus and Things and I am simply using STICKIES now. Is there a way to get these to sync to my iPhone? anyone have software suggestions that will do the same without all the other fussiness I find in other software?
is there something that will basically do the same as stickies but that allows for a little more text - like pages of text instead of stickies of text?

Try Evernote. It syncs notes across all my platforms and seems to fit the bill. Good luck with this.

How can I delete apps in iTunes and have that sync to my iPhone and iPad? I don't want to delete 3 separate times for each item. I just carefully chose 30-35 apps to get rid of via iTunes, hoping it would sync to my devices, only to find I have to repeat the process on my iPad, take notes, then repeat it on my iPhone. It wasn't always so tedious was it?
Here's the "Help" I got from Apple. They even quoted my question back to me then proceeded to answer with something very different and completely missing the point.
I understand that you would like to delete the Apps. I know how eager you are to get the required information and I will be happy to assist you.
You can remove individual songs, audiobooks, and videos from your iPod, iPhone, or iPad. Removing an item from your device doesn't delete it from your iTunes library.
To remove items from a device other than an iPod shuffle, first make sure that iTunes is set up to manually manage items.
1. Connect your iPod, iPhone, or iPad to your computer.
2. When the iPod, iPhone, or iPad icon appears in iTunes, select it.
3. Unless your device is an iPod shuffle, click the Summary tab and make sure "Manually manage music and videos" or "Manually manage music" is selected.
4. If the disclosure triangle to the left of your iPod, iPhone, or iPad (below Devices) is closed, click the triangle so that you can see the device's contents.
5. Select the item you want to delete and press the Delete key.
This was not helpful in any way and I am still unable to delete apps on my devices in a global, iTunes based way. Each device still requires its own independent process.

Match was off. I made all of the changes and then went through the "Turn on iTunes Match" option. I now have deleted some tracks, edited the Metadata in CDDA, and then added it back. This worked fine, but it is not a good solution.
I just tried making some edits and use the "Update iTunes Match" and that seemed to work. It looks like the real answer is that Match must be up and operational, then you can make changes and run the Update to incorporate the changes. However, if Match has a problem then Signing Out and back in to your store account and going through the process of Turning On Match (were you get the questions, "Add this Computer to Match" will overwrite any changes.
Since this relies on the stability of iTunes, I won't be making a lot of changes between updates.

You're aware you need to use iTunes to sync apps between your iPhone and Mac unless you are running V10.7.2 and have iCloud setup.
BTW... apps that are optimized for an iPhone will not run on the Mac OS X and vice versai, two different operating systems.

Can I have just ONE account in Contacts that syncs with my iPhone?

I quickly add a new contact when I'm at my computer right from a new email. I reply, "I'll call you when I get there" and I race out the door.
Ooops.
Mountain Lion put my new contact into the "ON MY MAC" account. It did not sync with my iPhone because it's not in my iCloud account.

Why would I not want that on my phone? Why does Apple make this so difficult?
Is there a way to totally get rid of the ON MY MAC contacts, and just have ONE account that syncs? Without me having to check and double check my contacts all the time?
I'm about ready to buy a paper and pen address book so I'll KNOW when it's working or not.
Sorry about the rant and the attitude, but it's really frustrating to lose a potential client to something this basic.
I also have a Dot Mac account that then became Mobile Me and now I'm not sure what it is, but I had to create an iCloud account (and a new iCloud email address) just to make my Notes sync up. So I don't know if all that is exacerbating the problem or not.
But ONE Contacts account that syncs reliably without me having to police it constantly would be nice.

Have you set the iCloud account as the default account yet? Sounds like you have not.
Contacts>Preferences>General. Choose the account you want new contacts to be in and select it.

How do I change my iCloud email address that syncs with my iPhone?

I had to change my e-mail address today. I changed it in iTunes and checked it on apple.com (Manage ID). Everything is fine, except now the e-mail address I have associated with iCloud on my iPhone is out-dated. It's the old one.
How do I update the e-mail address for iCloud on my iPhone? I can change the password, but not the e-mail address. Do I really have to delete the account from my iPhone and add a new one?
Note, I don't want to change the actual e-mail address that I got when I set up my iCloud account i.e. [name]@me.com. I want to change the e-mail address that syncs with iCloud and my iPhone.

Go to Settings>iCloud, tap Delete Account, then sign back in with your updated ID. This only deletes the account and any data you are syncing with iCloud from your device, not from iCloud. Provided you are signing back into the same account, your data will be synced back to your device when you sign back in.
Save any photo stream photos to your camera roll before deleting the account (tap Edit, tap the photos, tap Share, tap Save to Camera Roll).

I think I accidentally deleted folder that synced photos with iPhone & iPad

I was trying to clean up my Pictures folder on my PC, but I think I inadvertanly deleted the file that synced that folder with my both my iPad and iPhone photos. The pictures and videos I take on them no longer show up in my Pictures folder on my PC. Any suggestions? I have the iPad 3gen, iOS 5.1.1 and 3G iPhone, 16GB and all are using the current versions of iTunes.

I looked at that, but the only files that were different were the dated folders that normally show up when syncing either the iPad or iPhone with my PC. All I thought I did was move those pictures into the sub-folders that I have within the Pictures folder, and then delete the dated folder. I do see one that is not on my PC file and that is the
ZbThumbnail.info. Is that the problem?

Removing duplicates that sync'd to iPhone

forgot to fully remove all duplicate songs that resided on my Mac before I sync'd newly arrived iPhone. Then remembered, completely removed all duplicates on Mac and am not finding a specific sync instruction to allow Mac (10.5.2) music library to overwrite one that exists on iPhone.
Is it necessary to fully reset iPhone to achieve such a "clean up"?

If you do not have manually manage enabled, the next time you sync your phone, the duplicates will be removed from the iPhone if you have removed them from your computer.
Syncing music with the iPhone is always a one-way sync from the computer to the iPhone.

I checked it on the list to sync, along with all my other playlists but when I Apply it and Sync it, the Christmas Music Playlist does not show up. It showed up one time with only 2 of 238 songs. Then it showed up with the music in the iCloud, but would only play 3 songs and would skip through a bunch of songs ending up on only those 3 songs. I can't tell you how many times I have "Synced" my phone trying to get the Christmas Playlist to show up. I changed the name, deleted the playlist and reinstalled it, deleted it on the phone and tried to reinstall it on the phone manually. Can't get it to work. Christmas will be over and I will not be able to listen to my music. THX, Lynn

I had a very similar issue (same playlist). After several frustrating hours of various combinations I was able to sync by changing the options to "manuall sync.." and then "dragging and dropping" the needed playlist from the iTunes Playlist list to the iPhone button (on my itunes setup/view that was from the far left column list of all of my playlist in iTunes to the far upper right "iPhone" button). To sum up "checking" the playlist and syncing didnt work, "drag and droping" the playlist did... at least for now... then I unselected the "manually manage" in the options and re-synced and all playlist were synced correctly. I imported a cd that I purchased and I can't get it to sync to my phone. All the songs have a grey circle in front of them and the names of the songs are grey as well. How do I get iTunes to see them so they can sync to my iPhone?.

I've imported 3 cd's to my iTunes, but they continue to be "grey-ed out" with a dotted grey circle in front of them. The music will not sync to my iPhone. How do I get iTunes to recognize them so that they will sync?

In the Gen 4 they offer "Settings" then "Reset Settings" Then it asks, "Do you want to reset your iPod?" I click on "reset" but then nothing resets. :-( This is what makes me think it might be locked or something....

I have songs in my iTunes library that I burned from CD's. They play in iTunes and will sync with my iPad. They play fine on the iPad. However, the songs will not sync to my iPhone 4S. There are now exclamation points next to songs (can't find source).

I burned cd's in iTunes. The songs were able to sync and play on my iPad. After this, exclamation points appeared in iTunes on my laptop (unable to find source). They still play in iTunes but will not sync with my iPhone 4S. Do some cd's have a limit on the number of times you can copy them or is this an iTunes problem.

KiwiLouisa - I had the same problem. I was eventually able to distribute my content that was "Not eligible for iCloud" to my iPhone by switching off ITunes Match in both the ITunes app/machine that hosts my library (my Macbook Pro, in this case) as well as on the device to which I wished to distribute my content (my iPhone 6+). This opened up the option for my device iTunes Music settings for selecting "Entire Music Library".
After I successfully transferred *ALL* my music and music videos via iTunes sync, I then again switched on ITunes Match in iTunes on my Macbook and on my iPhone.
This does not change the iCloud status, but at least I have the content on my iPhone.

I purchased an iphone 4 in July 2012. I set it up to synch with Windows Outlook on my 2009 HP laptop computer (Windows 7). This seemed to work fine.
A few weeks ago, I was notified that my itunes or iphone software needed updating. With my iphone plugged into my computer, I performed the update. When it was over, I had an error message on my iphone indicating that it needed to be reset. I did this and there was no information on my iphone. I then synched with the laptop and everything appeared to be restored.
HOWEVER, now when I synch, items that I enter on my laptop show up on my iphone BUT items that I enter on my iphone do NOT show up on my laptop. How do I fix this?

All content bought/downloaded from iTunes is tied to the account that downloaded it and it can't be transferred to a different account - so you will need to authorise your old account on that computer if you want to transfer its purchases over.

Yes, the tone is available and checked in iTunes under the Tones library.
Yes, it is also listed under the Tones tab for my iPhone, but it is grayed out.
Yes, tones are selected under "sources" in General Preferences, along with everything else.
SyncTones was NOT selected under the Tones tab for my iPhone. I did so and it synced.

My music synced to my iPhone but it won't play! There is a box on the right of the song title that almost looks like a stop symbol. What can I do to fix this?

This has never happened to me before and I have had my iPhone for a couple years now. Just today I bought a couple albums on my mac through iTunes and they downloaded just fine. I have iCloud so they were automatically transferred to my phone. When I go to listen to the songs I found that they won't play. There is a gray box on the far right next to the song title. It won't play and after a little while it just skips to the next song. The weird thing is some songs did download all the way and work just fine. Please help!!!!

I have heard of some people having a similar problem, which was resolved by a simple restart of their iPhone. If that doesn't help you, you may want to consider de-authorizingyour computer in iTunes, then re-authorizing it and performing a sync to your iPhone again.
