Sticky Notes print size

I've been trying to print my sticky notes on the document, but the font prints very small.  How do I increase the font size of the sticky note so that when it prints, the font is an average size 12? I've tried increasing the font size through Preferences, but it still prints out really small.
Thank you in advance!

I'm not sure, but I don't think it is.  When I print it, the document itself prints fine, it's just the sticky notes that print out really small.

  • How do I keep the sticky notes from shifting their placement as soon as I select File, Print?

Working with Acrobat Pro 9 and Windows 2007, I frequently use sticky notes to approve multi-page invoices scanned by another location.  On the screen they appear where I put them - but as soon as I click File, Print with the printer "Adobe PDF" and "documents and markups" selected, the ntoes all shift to a static location on each page that overlays the invoice detail.  I've tried multiple settings and defaults to no
avail.  Any help is much appreciated.

Either don't rename upon export, or use the (original filename or) image number in the renaming template:
(see 'File Naming' section of export dialog box)

  • Printer not printing correct sizes of photos

Canon Pro9000 for some reason does not print photos correctly. I have made all the correct changes on the page setup and no matter what size I choose it prints only a small size photo. If I choose 11 X 14 it prints a photo 7 1/2 X 6. No matter what size paper I choose. It prints well in Easy-PhotoPrint but not in Lightroom 1.4.1 It worked fine before the driver update for Canon Pro9000
    System I'm using is:
    iMac 24"
2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
    Memory 2GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
    Printer Canon Pro9000
    Adobe Lightroom 1.4.1
    Thank You,
    Mike M.

Had the same problem with Lr 3 and Canon Pro9000.
Flicked the stroke on and off again - for no reason except someone said that worked. Then I used zoom to fit and it worked.
Which is stupid. I am so sick of having to be in problem solving mode all the d**m time.
Next I'll work on the Wacom driver which freezes in Lr3 from time to time - with a complete lack of consistency.
I wonder why software works so badly these days. Shareholders don't care?

  • Printing Comments (Sticky Notes) in Adobe Reader 9

    Hi,
I know this question has been asked several times before, but I haven't seen any resolution to this problem. Does anyone know if Adobe is working on a patch/ fix for this problem?
In any case, my question is this: how do I print comments (sticky notes) using Adobe Reader 9. The following are the responses I have already tried and that have not worked:
    1. Select "Document and Markups" in the print menu. I have already tried this. It makes no difference. The document still prints without the comments.
    2. Go to Edit > Preferences and choose the "Commenting" tab. There is no "Commenting" tab in Reader 9. You are probably thinking of Acrobat 9.
    3. Edit the registry key. Too risky, and since we are working on the client's machine, this is not really an option.
Any other ideas? Thanks in advance!

    Alas,
"Commenting" is not an available category in Adobe Reader's Preferences.

  • Reader 9.1 won't print Sticky Notes/Comments

I had recently updated my organization to version 9.1 of Adobe Acrobat Reader from 7. I had to perform the reg hack on 7 to be able to let my users print the Sticky notes, but that does not work in 9 and I don't see a setting. How do I get around this? We can view the notes just fine, via screen, but who would have thought, we actually need to print these comments on our proofs from our customers.
Anyway, hope someone has an answer so we can continue on 9 and don't have to roll back.
    Thanks.

I'm still getting emails relating to this issue, so I thought I would post an update here...
I've now created a tool for Reader that allows you to print the contents of sticky notes as a part of the original document, without needing the expensive File Attachment right. All you need are the standard Commenting rights, which can be added in Acrobat.

Is there a way to change the size of a sticky note attached to a page?  I would like to make the √ larger.

Yes - click on the themes button in the  toolbar and select the new size and type - depending on your selection some text may not fit the new theme - usually everything is ok

My prints are not printing at the proper size.  If I designate 5x7 it prints at something around 4x3.  I have set all the parameters.

When you saye a you have set all the parameters, does that include the cell size in the print module? Are you printing on 5 x 7 paper? And, if you are, have you set that paper size in the page setup?

  • Image size not printing correctly on paper

I am creating a simple flyer on my mac using MS PowerPoint. I know not the ideal software to use for this, but its a very simple flyer and I know how to use that software the best. My problem is every time I try to print it, the size printed gets all out of whack or edges are cut off.
For example, in my software, my document size is 8.5 x 11" and in the print dialog I am also choosing 8.5 x 11 paper. I know that my printer will NOT print anything closer to .19" from all edges of the paper (I guess would be called the printer margin), so in my document I am sure not to place anything within those print margins. When I try to print it, in the preview of the print dialog (and if printed) the top and left edges are lined up correctly/with the correct margin, but the right and bottom of the page are largely cut off. And I don't mean that the "image is too big for the page" kind of cut off, because its not. I mean that the top and left margin are the correct .19" but the right and bottom are around 1.5" or so cutting off the image there.
Here are things I have tried to correct this problem:
I have checked every margin setting possible and they are all correct/normal.
Checking the "Scale to fit" option in the print dialog shrinks my entire image where nothing is cut off, but then all margins are too big for my intended appearance.
I have opened the same PowerPoint document on a PC in my network and printed, and everything printed correctly.
I saved the PowerPoint document as a JPEG, opened it in Preview and on screen it looks fine, but when I open the print dialog from within there, I get the same problems; right and bottom cut off, and scale to fit's margins are too big.
Any suggestions on maybe something I missed, how to correct this problem, or why I am getting this problem?

You should make sure that your printer is selected in Page Setup, rather than the generic Any Printer. You may need to look for it in Options... when you choose it in PowerPoint.

  • Document not printing full size

I am a new pages user, and I am creating a magazine for an english class. Two out of four of my articles do not print full size, even though the paper size is set up and everything else seems to be full size. When I look at print preview, the article is shrunk down and I have no idea how to go about fixing this.

    Kurt,
I'm not implying it's a bug. I recognize that it's a "feature." But I'd like to be able to print my doc without having to first turn the Comments feature off. It would make a good Preference selection. But I also like your idea about the warning.

  • Printing Sticky notes content

How do I get my sticky notes content to print? I am already using the "SUmmarize COntent button. I have Windows 7 and a Lexmark Pro200 Series printer.  I am using  Adobe Reader 11.0.02. To clarify: they print on the page but overlapping each other and obscuring the text. OR they print as a separate page.  Are these the options, or am I doing something wrong? Am I limited to one sticky per page? If so, where should I place it?

So the only way to print sticky notes in 9.0 is a manual registry change below.
For Reader 8 and later you may need to add the key manually.
    Add the following Reg key:
    [HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\[acrobat version]\Annots\cPrefs]
    "bprintCommentPopups"=dword:00000001
Which I did and it worked but where is the preference check under commenting for sticky notes in versin 9.0?
If it was just my computer not having the category, commenting I would think it was a bad install but none of the computers in our office have that choice either. I hate to think I have to make a registry changes on each computer to print Sticky notes.
I do appreciate the registry work around though!

  • Print size in Photoshop CC does not work after updating

Print size in Photoshop CC does not work after updating, it was working fine before but now when I click to go to print size either from the menu of right chicking when the hand tool is selected, the image just zooms right out until it is a tiny little box in the centre of the screen, no good what so ever, as I say it was working fine before the update.
I am using window 7 with 8 gb of ram and an I7 with a 1GB graphics card.
    Can anyone help please?
    thanks
    Fujibill

Check the Image>Image Size and see what the print size is supposed to to be for the open document.
Also, resetting the photoshop cc preferences might fix it.

  • Size limitation in Sticky Notes?

We have a user who, upon opening her PDF in Adobe Acrobat 7, has difficulty opening and editing some sticky notes.  I noted that one in particular had a large amount of text, and was wondering if there is a size/text limitation in sticky notes?
    Thank you!

Working as designed... MM only does up to 2G.  Personally I think MM is complete crap and would never put it on another computer.

  • My hp 6500a does not print with my laptop running Windows 8.1 (size mismatch)

I am trying to print from a PC running Windows 8.1 to my HP 6500A all in one printer. It will not print anything except 6x4 photos. If trying to print a document on A4 size, I get the message of size mismatch. I tried it on a second PC (again with Windows 8.1) and it still does not print.

  • Officejet 5610 not able to create custom print sizes

Hi -- I use my Officejet 5610 for both my work and my personal printing needs.  On my work computer which has Windows XP as the operating system,  when I got to Properties and Paper Options/Quality tab there is a button for me to select "Custom Size".   On my personal computer which has Vista Home Basic as the operating system there is no option on the Paper Options/Quality tab to choose a custom print size.  Is there a driver that I might be missing which would allow the custom print size on the Vista computer?  I'm trying to print envelopes which are 6" x 9" and nothing I do seems to work.  I have managed to print one envelope using Letter size but that took about 6 hours to get one printed.   My envelopes keep causing a paper jam -- which once cleared from the printer is still showing up as a jam on the computer and I have to re-boot the whole system to clear it.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    Hi,
    Try the following
open solution center> Setting> Printer Settings> Print settings and you will find a custom option there and then create a new size and give it a name and when you print from any application you will see the new size reflection in the application. Are you not seeing the custom option as seen below?

  • The print size Lightroom is not changing .

My Epson Stylus Pro 3880 is not getting the print size correct from the new upgrade Lightroom. Am running Window  8.1 64 bit. Help please!

I have never seen that in the years that I have been using Lightroom. But can you not simply is just the cell size of your image in the Lightroom print module to create your white border and then just print? That's what I do.
The paper size selected in 8.5 x 11". Then I adjusted the cell size to get the appropriate border. I also added a stroke border to this print.
