STICKY PLEASE: o2 service problems NOT iphone
dear users,
I may be new to this forum, I know A lot of things about itunes and iphone so i try to help...
but i have noticed a Lot of people who are on 02 complaining about internet mms sms problems...some of you may have not heard the news but o2 is having major issues right now(not today but recently)

if you check the news they have had A LOT OF THESE RIGHT NOW! so its not the iphone but o2
hope this helped in not hating your beloved new iphone which you might have thought is a waist of money but now think its belived again lool xP

Can you connect to WiFi? Try resetting network settings.

Hi I have windows 7 and itunes 11.1.1. I recently got a new iphone 5s and have tried to sync and the above message came up and itunes becomes non-reponsive. I tried my old iphone 3gs and the same thing happened. I have tried reinstalling itunes, installing a previous itunes version (although this did not work-again got another error message), tried to choose preferences to reset sync history but itunes becomes non-resonsive before I can do this. Have tried the other options in http://http://support.apple.com/kb/TS2690 but still not working...any ideas? Cant work my new iphone :-( Thanks
A quick cursory browse seems to point that the problem is on Apples end since the last update of iTunes, theres loads of forum posts about it but Apple themselves arent responding as yet other then the usual "unplug, delete sync data, reconnect or completely uninstall iTunes" spiel which doesnt work so hopefully they will fix it sooner or later

No service problem in iPhone 3GS after upgrading to i.o.s 6.
I updated my iPhone 3GS to i.o.s 6 and now i cant activate it.
Showing NO SERVICE even with a valid sim card.
Is there a solutio to get rid of this problem and get my phone working back?You could go to settings/general/reset and then reset network connections. that might help.
Or you could reboot the phone
Restart iPhone: Hold down the Sleep/Wake button and the home button together until the apple logo appears then let both buttons go and wait for the phone to restart. -
How to fix no signal/service problem on iphone 4?
Recently my iphone 4 has begun to go in and out of service and signal all of the time. I have realized that when I turn off cellular data and 3g network, this issue is resolved. But how do I get back to using my phone w/ data and 3g without having this issue?
I have exactly the same problem, its only started happening the last day, its quite fustrating.
Whenever I turn on data and 3G it very rarely goes to a 3G signal and stays on that circle/edge data. Very occasionly it will say I have a 3G signal but infact it still cant load anything at all. I've tried restoring network settings and I am just about to try reseating my sim card but I doubt that will work! Could it be something to do with one of the antennas? -

If you posted exactly what your problem is & exactly what model iPhone & version of iOS running on it, perhaps someone could offer a suggestion. However, will the info you've provided so far, there is no much that can be suggested.

hi i have purchased iphone4 from vodafone australia 2 years back.it is unlocked, when i went to india .it was not working with any carrier in india.it was displaying no service.is it a problem of iphone or any other anybody please could let me know?

I use iPhone 4S .earlier with ios 6 and now ios 6.while I connect the charger for charging my phone network lost while midway in charging.that problem always while 3G connection is active.but this problem not arise while 3G mode off.please help me.
reset all settings
settings-general-reset-reset all settings
now reconnect to wifi
settings- wifi- click network name- enter password - join
if issue persists back up and restore as new via iTunes

Help, just upgrade the itunes to 10.5 now it says This Iphone can not be used because the Apple mobile device service is not started. I was able to access the it from my second computer without any problem. Phone is running 5.0

I turned my Iphone 4 off. When I went to turn it back on, up popped a silver screen that read Iphone with no service. My service has not been cancelled. What does this mean, please help?
If a reset doesn't work, try and force iPad into Recovery Mode:
1. Turn off iPad. Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, slide to turn off.
2. Connect USB cable to computer
3. Press and hold the Home button down and connect the docking end of cable to iPad
4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect To iTune" screen
5. Release the Home button
6. Open iTune (make sure you have the newest version of iTune)
7. You should see "iTunes has detected an iPad in recovery mode"
8. Use iTune to restore iPad
Note: You need to be patient and repeat the above many times to recover your iPad -
I have very strange problem with iphone 3gs. Whenever it gets little hot or exposed to 30 degree or above temperature it losses signals (No service). Whenever it is cooled down the service is back. Whenever I am using Skype or playing game for a while it losses carrier signals and wifi. When it is cooled down afer shutting down the carrier signals and wifi are back. It is for sure problem is with heating, but 30 degree tempeature in Oman is normal and some time it goes upto 50 degrees. I have noticed this has started after I started using substandard charger as I lost my original charger of the phone. Please help!! Thanx.
