STILL can't login

Why has the Adobe Story desktop verison of the app NEVER been able to OPEN?!?! It just updated when I started it, but it won't get past that splash screen. F#@King frustrating!!!

Can you please let me know if the problems faced by you are resolved? You should try the steps mentioned in http://forums.adobe.com/message/5131547#5131547 thread towards the end.
Also, when you uninstall the current version of story from your machine : Can you please check the location “/Applications/” and look for “Adobe Story” in it through finder. If it exists please move it to trash and try installing again from the downloaded “AdobeStory.air” package.
[NOTE: you should be Story plus user to use the desktop application of Story]

  • Wrt600n still can't login to router after factory reset

    Ok, so I reset the router but i still can't login to the setup using the factory password (admin/admin) (blank/admin) (admin/blank).   Now I have an unencrypted network and no access to the setup... I even tried using the setup CD but it doesn't recognize the router.   Anyone have this problem or know of a possible fix?

    Its a very common problem. Generally peoples push reset button 10-15 sec for reset that it not good enough to return your router to factory setting. So hold the Cisoc Linksys wrt600n reset button this time at least 30-40 second. And try now for a new setting.

    The issue may be caused by that the user’s security credentials were corrupted or an RSA folder on the user’s computer may be blocking authentication.

  • Can't login to Directory Service Control Center 6

    After installition of Sun JES 5 Directory Server (OS Solaris SPARC 9) i'm trying to login to DSCC.
    I provide username admin and a password for admin.
    But after clicking the LogIn Button I see a message Authentification error.
    IWhen I explore a Directory server through LADP browser (as cn=Directory manager) I can't see the cn=Administrators,cn=config subtree at all (and cn=config subtree is missing, too).
    This subtee is present in the <instance-path>/config/dse.ldif file, however.
    Is it normal? Or should I create this subtree manually?

    But when I'm trying to login (after restarting directory server), the problem persists ;(
    I still can't login. But when I observe DS logs (Directory_Server.instance-path/logs)
    I can see nothing in *access logs

  • Can't login to story desktop app build 1091

    I can login into the web app no problem. When I open the desktop app I login in, it loads then returns me to the login screen. I can do this over and over and it doesn't change. I've reinstalled and still can't login. CS6 creative cloud.

    If you are not using the latest build of Story then I'll advice you to uninstall the current version of Story from your machine and get the latest one from story.adobe.com/AIR/AdobeStory.air and install that.
    If you are still not able to signin properly in the application and you are a Story plus user then do the following on your mac: (we have seen this issue only on mac machines, let us know if it's otherwise)
    1. Make sure Story is closed.
    2. Go to ~/Library/Application Support/Adobe/AIR/ELS/
    3. Now rename the folder com.adobe.adobestory… [Just put something at the end] [NOTE: Do not delete it as we may need it later]
    4. Relaunch Story and try to login.

  • Solaris 8 Blade 2000 can't login or rsh to workstation remotely or locally

    We can't rsh to one of three workstations. the workstation won't allow local login either, even after correct passwords entered, returned to login screen.
    rebooted twice, boots back to login screen.

    Sorry, I seem to have deleted a major section of my description:
    After rebooting and not being able to login, VNC or AFP into the machine, I rebooted with the system disk and changed the root password and logged back in, this is when I ran Workgroup Manager and saw the strings of numbers for user names. I went into the System Prefs/Accounts panel and changed the password for Local Administrator to my "admin" password, mind you, Local Admin had an existing password hint that matched the "admin" account. I never, to my knowledge, set up the Local Admin account, so I figured fixing this would bring "admin" back online. Still can't login under the "admin" user, but I can login to Local Admin, but this doesn't get me into the "admin" home folder. Nor does it seem to restore operation of AFP.
    FYI - This is an advanced install of Server, I'm not using the Basic control panel.

    We have a two-node cluster running GW7.01 on Netware 6.5 SP7. As part of our disaster recovery test we've done the following:
    1. Installed netware 6.5 sp7 onto a new server in its own tree.
    2. Installed GW7 on this server, with an identical groupwise system i.e same domain name, etc (only difference is server name, IP, and tree name).
    3. We then exported the NDS/GW objects from the current production tree using the GWport32 utility into the new tree on the new server.
    4. We've restored from a backup tape the PO database file and the accompanying files, the domain database file, and all the files and sundirectories from the ofuser, ofmsg, and offiles directories onto their corresponding locations on the new server.
    5. After getting C00F and D019 errors, we've tried to rebuild the ngwguard.db and the PO by running a standalone GWCheck.
    Our problem is that I can login to the new server (edirectory tree) as any user albeit without any password but unable to login to groupwise. I've set and reset passwords in ConsoleOne but I still can't login to groupwise.
    We would be very grateful if anyone could tell us what else we need to do.
    We're hoping to achieve a situation where in an extreme disaster, we are able to restore mail from tape backups so that users can still logon to this new server and have full access to their mailboxes with ease.

    I would NEVER have use GWPORT32. Why did you?
    1. You have to restore eDirectory in a different way.
    2. If tree is still intact reimporting is bad
    3. IF tree is not intact, you still have to restore eDirectory differently.

    Make sure you have checked off iCloud contacts in your Contacts app under Groups in upper left corner.
