Still cannot save attachments

Hi
For what must be a month now I cannot download email attachments, web browsers either cannot save the file or produce a blank unknown file type.
I have had to stop using iCloud, all the other emails services which you access via a web browser work no problem at all like gmail and outlook its just iCloud will not, have apple stopped supporting microsoft office attachments ?

I personally would suggest the option to save your iTunes library to an external drive -- because it creates an important backup, and copies the library to your new computer.

This option requires more work than Home Sharing, but it creates a backup of your iTunes library on the external drive in addition to moving your content.
Windows operating systems don't recognize Mac OS-formatted disks (HFS or HFS Plus formats). Because of this, you can't use a Mac-formatted iPod or external drive to move your music to a Windows PC.
Mac OS X can read Windows-formatted iPods and drives. This means there are many ways to migrate your information from your old Windows-based PC to your new Mac.
Mac OS X: To be sure external drives appear on your desktop, choose Preferences from the Finder menu. Be sure the options for "External disks" and "Hard disks" are enabled.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements running on?
What are the properties of these source media video clips?
How are you trying to save the edited video clips
a. Publish+Share/ and one of the choices there and then an export of the whole Timeline content
or
b. Trying to save the edited video clips in a project selectively as separate files saved to the computer hard drive. If so, please detail.
Have you posted a recent thread on this topic here recently? With the recent major update of the Adobe Premiere Elements Forum it has been more difficult for me to go back and look for prior recent threads posted by the user.
Please review, supply the necessary details, and then we can customize troubleshooting to address your Premiere Elements workflow issue.

Lost bookmarks, force quit and re-boot with no change. still cannot save new bookmarks. is there a solution?

I would try first to reset all settings by going to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. You will not lose any data by doing this and test it out. If you still cannot save a bookmark, then you will need to restore your iPad and not restore from back up. The instructions for restoring are outlined in the article below.

Recipients see attachments inline, but cannot save attachments

When sending emails with image attachments, I have some recipients (typically PC users) who can see the attachments in the email itself, but cannot save the files. Here's how one person described it... "For some reason the photos showed up as images within your email but the files with the images didn't arrive."
Any ideas how to get the attachments so they can use them? It doesn't seem to make a difference if I drag and drop, use the paperclip icon, or use the "Attach File" menu option in under the "File" menu.

Since this occurs with only some recipients, the some are more than likely using Outlook as their email client which depending on the Windows and Outlook version used by the recipient has had various problems with Mail's RTF.
RTF with Tiger Mail can be HTML format but certain things occur in order for a newly composed message to be sent as HTML format such as selecting a font and/or changing the font size with the font panel, changing the font style for selected text such as bold, underline or italics or changing the font color and/or when including a signature that was composed with RTF or HTML. Image/photo attachments can be received as embedded depending on the Outlook version used by the recipient when using RTF for message composition with Tiger Mail.
Try using Plain Text for message composition instead which will resolve it.

Mail in Lion cannot save attachments in rich text format

I used to be able to save attachments in Mail with Snow Leopard if the "Include Attachments" option is selected and the mail is saved in rich text firmat. When I open the saved files using TextEdit, the attachments are included. However, I just discovered it is no longer the case with Lion, even with the "Include Attachments" option being selected. No attachments are saved with the text. Appreciate any enlightening suggestions. Thanks.

I have updated from earlier versions and since recent updates versions 32 on as observed , Yahoo mail cannot do attachments to any new mail message. I can download though !!

Cannot save attachments from outlook to My Documents.

At the company i worked for, there is a problem with saving attachments from Outlook in to My Documents.
Info:
Outlook 2010
Exchange Server 2007 (CCR Cluster 1 HUB and 2 MBX)
Redirected My Documents
File Cluster (Windows Server 2003 Ent)
All the people using Outlook working at the company can’t save their outlook attachments to the My Documents
(which is relocated to the homedir folder on the file cluster )
anymore.
The strange part here is, that the attachments are saved to that location. Only a notification pop-ups in outlook
and says, that the attachment can’t be saved.

When i open the My Documents and tried to save something, there is no problem.
The problem occured spontaneously,
we can’t find
a solution to fix it.
On the file cluster the security rights on the profile
and homefolder are
correct, nothing changed.
Yesterday I updated both Exchange nodes and did a failover and rebooted the passive node.
The problem still exists, when people tried to save there attachment into My Documents it keeps popping op.
When the people save there attachment on the Desktop, than there is no warning.

Hi,
This issue can be caused by Protected View settings in Office prevent saving E-mail Attachments. Please try the following steps to check this issue:
Open an Office product such as Excel.
Choose File > Options > Trust Center
Click “Trust Center Settings” Button
Choose Protected View in left side selection pane.
Check appropriate check boxes for Protected View settings.
Click OK > OK.
Close and Open Outlook.
If this issue persists, please let me know.

Reader still cannot save fillable forms

I'm using LiveCycle Designer to create a fillable form that I wish to have sent back to me as a pdf or for the user to save the completed form locally. I have "Enabled Usage Rights in Adobe Reader" under the advanced tab. However, when I send the fillable form to my users with reader, sometimes they cannot even fill in the form because it says that the form has been altered since the rights were enabled(which it hasn't) and at other times, they can fill out the form and save it, but the saved file is just a blank form(They're not choosing Save a Copy). I do not wish to use LifeCycle ES Reader Extension because this is a small venture and I don't technically have a server I can access. Can someone give me some clue as to what I might still be doing wrong?

Sorry.. I thought I replied to this message earlier. Apparently not. In any event, Adobe Reader 9 is being used. There is no script that changes the appearance of the form as far as I'm aware. I downloaded a form from the form gallery.. and enabled the usage rights and then emailed it to myself. When I opened it on my laptop, it told me that the document had been altered since it had been saved(which it hadn't) and wouldn't let me fill in the form or save it.

STILL cannot save an alias

I have been trying every day for months now and I'm still unable to create an alias, every time I try I get the response of THIS ALIAS CANNOT BE SAVED AT THIS TIME. I have tried a variety of different name options incase it was that the name had already been taken, but all to no avail. Please can anyone help, it seems that there have been posts about this but nothing that resolves or explains the situation, and I can't find anything current - am I the only person having this problem????????

Still having the same problem, I try every single day and so far nothing. I've tried every variation that I can possibly think of with any combination of numbers and letters etc. but still get the same error message. I log in with my icloud email address, and it seems that the only domain you can use is the icloud domain.
I really could use some help, but there seems to be nothing around. We can't be the only two people experiencing this problem????

Mail Cannot save attachments in Raw Message Source

When I try to save email as Raw Message Source, Include Attachments is grayed out. It is not grayed out when I choose rtf or plain text files. How come?

I saved the email as Raw in a folder on my desktop, then went to file-import mailbox in mail, and tried to import it. I got a message that it saved to an import folder in the mailbox list, but there is no such file. I tried making an Import folder and import it again, but it did not work.
Then I tried saving as Plain Text and Rich Text Format. I got an error that No valid Mail for Mac OS X files were found.
I have SpamSieve, could that be a problem?

Upgraded from 6.5 to 2012 now we cannot save attachments

Web access tries to save PDF and many other attachments as htm only.
What is the fix? We have a call into Novell and have not heard back.

Firefox is only saving 8 light-weight themes. Supposedly this was fixed in February, but I still cannot save more than eight. Is there a new fix or workaround?

Tonight we found a site called getpersonas.com. We found several we liked and started saving, then later realized Firefox 3.6.3 is only saving the last 8. I checked the forum and saw a bug report related to this, but it was also reported as fixed, but I still have the problem and I see no workaround posted.

Elements 3.0 cannot save lighting effects styles

I am running a PIII 1 gig with 2 gig of memory Running win 2000Pro. I have Elements 3.0 installed and I have been using the lighting effects filter, but I have noticed that when the lighting effects box comes up there are no styles listed. Also I cannot save any lighting effects styles. When I try to save a Style I get the following error message:
'An error occured while trying to save the style'
I do not use any file compression on any of the drives or folder on my system.
Any tips would be greatly appreciated...
One more thing there are lighting effects styles on the hard drive. I found them in the Plugins folder under Filters/Lighing Styles.

I checked and the proper settings were already present, but I reset them anyway. (couldn't hurt). Re-booted and cleared the preference files again. I still cannot see the lighting styles that are on the computer and I still cannot save the ones I build.
I have also tried and Un-install and re-install, but there must have been some files that were not cleared because after the re-install some of my settings came back. I will have to try again and this time I will make sure nothing is left after the Un-install.
I am very please with the help I have recieved on the Forum.. It always pays to have more than one mind looking for solutions.

Cannot Save Changes in Library - Help!

I still cannot save changes I make to a library image back to
the library. I open library, drag the image to the stage, make a
change ... and then it just sits there. Nothing in the library
changes, nothing I do can make the original image in the library
take the changes. I've tried saving as, exporting, creating a new
image (it will not allow me to give it the same name as an existing
library image .. the one I want to change).
I suspect some bug in Flash since I re-installed it on a new
laptop. It worked before. I have tried re-installing it and have
the latest updates from Flash site.
Any ideas???

OK, never mind, I figured it out ... it was my unfamiliarity
with Flash, I rarely do anything there. I had selected the "open as
library" command which does not permit editing. Instead I needed to
open the fla file, then choose Library from the Window menu
Duh.
