Still getting emails

Hi
With kind help from the forum my problem has now been solved, although I was still getting email notifications from every  topic, after advice I was directed to the "email notification preferences" where I think I stopped all notifications by putting a spot in "NO" for every preference, although I would like to leave my own topic open for emails for a little longer.
Unfortunately I am still inundated with email notifications for each topic on the forum, have I missed something? as my inbox is still full of email notifications which I would like to stop, regards Robert.

Those settings are for “Future” discussions. Those don’t affect subscriptions you already have set up.
To change your existing notifications:
Go to Your Stuff at the top of any forum page
Click on Profile
Click on Manage Email Notifications in the Actions panel
This will bring up a list of all your subscriptions where you can select individual ones to remove or you can click the box at the top of the list to select all on the page and then click Remove at the bottom of the page.

i changed my email perferences 4 days ago and am still getting email mailouts....HELP!

    Give this a try:
    Go to your profile page.
Select the Notifications tab clear out anything that shows there.
    Go back to your profile
In the Actions box select Preferences
Select the Email Notifications Preferences tab
Set the values as you like
    Go back to your profile
In the Actions box select Manage Email Notifications
    delete any that show
Note: steps 4 & 7 appear to be the same but they are not. The steps need to be followed as specified. If this doesn't stop the email we'll need to have a host look into it.
    Good luck.

  • Still getting email notification after stopping

A couple of days ago I posted a question on the Acrobat forum and turned on email notification.  I turned email notification off about 5 hours ago and I'm still getting them.
The prompt on my Acrobat forum screen says "Receive email notifications" so email notifications appear to be turned off.  But I'm still getting them.

This ARTICLE might give you some tips on sorting out e-mail notifications.
Here's hoping, as there seem to be more ways to get those, than there is to turn them off.
    Good luck,

  • Unsubscribing but still get email notices

I asked a question on this discussion board a couple of days ago and got my question answered. Thanks. However, I now continue to get email messages for every new thread. I've gone to My Subscriptions and it doesn't show I'm subscribed to this forum, but I continue to receive constant emails.
I've tried to resubscribe and then cancel, but the email continue to come. Even by selecting "weekly email" under My Settings, I continue to get email as threads are posted. Please help!

  • Updated preferences and still getting email notifications

Help I change my settings not to get email notifications but I still get flooded

I have watched the video and followed instructions to the letter. I turned notifications off in a number of places, I don't follow the forum, I turned "receive email notifications" off. There are six threads in "my stuff", email notifications preferences are all set to "no".
I am getting emails for pretty much everything. This is sad becuse there are so many I can't keep up with conversation and provide any help - too busy cleaning up the email. Please help.

  • Manual request for email still gets email when not requesting sync

I have an iPhone 4s with a mail for exchange account set up on it.  My settings are set for manual so I don't get email pushed to me all the time.  I am using iOS6 at the moment.  Whenever I turn on the phone, it checks and updates my inbox. Even when on 5.1.1, it checked now and then without me asking to sync but now on OS6, it has happened everytime I boot up alongside the occasional not requested sync.  Anyone else have this issue?  Is there a fix?

How will that fix the problem?  I have been using the refresh and load more messages options on the email accounts.  There are extended periods throughout the day that email will not be received.  Samsung did not have a solution and neither did Verizon technical support.  There are several others with the same issues.  We should not have to do manual syncs and it is a sporadic problem.

  • I'm still getting email in "messages" folder and email folder

I have the 8330 curve, I've set my options to sepreate but my emails still appear in both folders. I would like to keep them seperate from my txts. Anyone else having this problem?

Email is messages, and your BIS account email will always go to the main messages folder.
To remove your SMS text messages to their own folder:
Open your Messages folder > Press the Menu key > Options > General Options and scroll down to:
Email and SMS inbox = Separate.
    And save.
If you have already done that, find your SMS on your device, and you will find your SMS messages.

  • Still getting email to my alias that belongs to someone else

This has been happening for a few months.
Someone in whose main profile is in ICLOUD setup up an alias that was not kicked out as duplicate.
I have owned the alias since @mac.com  ---
I am deleting the mails as they come in -
    Received 2 today
So if you Alias is not working and you have given it to someone - please ask them to stop using it.
Meanwhile - as I just pick up mac mail through sync to my desktop - just noticed the shortcut to get into the web mail page is not on my menu bar - can someone give me page to find.

Discovered that I have to go to each discussion and turn email notifications off, even though I've turned them off in my preferences.  No problems now that I've done this.  Thankfully, there were only a few.

  • Updated my email preferences on my profile yet still getting emails for every thread I here every time a new thread is created.??

Help before I erase those account

I believe that changing preferences will change the overall preference, and anything after that, but if you have a thread that you are receiving notifications for already, it does not affect that one. I believe you need to go to the particular thread and then click on the Stop under Actions on the right side of the thread.

  • IMac Yosemite 10.10.1 Thunderbird 24.6.0 24 hours ago lost in/out email. Checked everything. Can still get email on IPhone and older Power Mac G5 on 10.5.8

This has happened once or twice before but a restart of the Mac or the router seemed to fix it. There is another PowerMac with the same problem.

    "2MEM/1/4: DIMM3/J14"
Replace the memory in the DIMM 3 slot.
If you are running Mac OS X 10.5 you can use this program to test your G5's memory:
    http://www.kelleycomputing.net/Rember/
It will subject your RAM to a more thorough test than Apple Hardware Test.

  • Why does firefox sometimes just stop talking to the internet and just set there with the connection icon spinning and spinning and not going anywhere, when Thunderbird can still get email and any other program is not having trouble accessing the internet

sometimes fire fox will start talking again, most of the time it take a reboot to fix it, as it may set there spinning, for hours, and i do not have time to fool with it, and a reboot is a pain

  • Why am I getting Emails from Apple in turkish to an Email-address that isn't used for my Apple ID anymore ?

Hi everybody, I already apologize if this isn't the right community for my problem. This whole thing is very confusing  so I really hope someone can help me
I used Gmail as my official email account and it was also the Email address for my Apple-ID (for many, many years..)
Strangely, a few months ago, I got an Email from Apple saying that my Apple-ID was being used for Imessage and Facetime on other devices (in Turkey?). I googled it and found out that it might be a fishing mail so I quickly changed my password and also the Email-adress for my Apple.ID – which means that the Gmail-account was not longer in use for Apple anymore.
But here's the problem :  I still get Emails from Apple (in Turkish) from time to time to my Gmail- account. They don't seem to be fishing Emails, though.  Another odd thing about that is, that the mails I receive at Gmail don't seem to be addressed to my CORRECT email-address.
While my adress looks like „[email protected]“ the Itunes mails I receive are addressed to '[email protected]“ .  I hope you know what I mean. There is no point between the names in my real address.
What could this be and how can I solve this problem ? It's really freaking me out.
    Thanks,
    D.

  • CUP 5.3 Canceled Request still sending Email

    Hi GRC Experts
I have a canceled request in CUP that is still sending email to users. Is there a way that I can stop the request from sending more emails? Will Archiving resolve this?
A swift reply will be appreciated.
    Thanks.
    D

Sure, the GRC AC application is a Java based application and all the information is stored in JAVA schema in the database, usually the schema name is something like SAPSR3DB.
Out of curiosity, is that user still getting emails from CUP for the canceled request ?
    Cheers !!
