Still getting the error message

I am still getting an error message of unknown iTunes Store error (-4). I cannot upload any new feeds. What can I do?

From what I've read, the private folder is where most cameras put AVCHD video files, and you're right, it's not very intuitive.
I've discovered that the cause of the problem is that iPhoto can't handle 1080p60 videos. The other AVCHD videos that I had tested were 720p60 and they work fine on iPhoto (actually I haven't done any testing to see if the quality is still there, but at least iPhoto will see them and import them for storage alongside the pictures with which they were taken).
Now that I know this I can choose my video quality settings accordingly. For now I just need to figure out the best way to convert my few videos from the other day into files that iPhoto likes.

Perhaps check to see if you're accidentally running two different versions of iTunes. There's some information on troubleshooting that in the Opening iTunes section of the following document:

I've tried both. First, I tried on my pc, where iTunes had installed iCloud when it last updated. I have iTunes installed on this computer (and on my iPad and iPhone), but that wasn't the issue.
So I went online, thinking I needed a separate iCloud Apple ID, but it prompted me for my current Apple ID and gave me the message about my ID being "valid" but not an iCloud account," which, lol, was what it had asked me to do in order to create one. Google Chrome is a problem:
if you use Chrome's own PDF viewer, the results are unpredictable.
if you use the Adobe Reader plugin with Chrome, it may reject (block) it if it is not the latest version. Reader 11.0.08 is the latest version for Windows XP, but Chrome may insist on the current version 11.0.10.
My suggestion; use a different browser!

In case you are on a Mac, please use check if you have an uninstaller on the location specified in the doc : http://helpx.adobe.com/muse/kb/uninstall-muse.html
If yes, please use it to completely uninstall Muse.

This helped me.
Go to Start -- Accessories -- Command Prompt, make right click and choose run as administrator
Type this command : netsh winsock reset
then restart your computer, everything should be ok after this. Good Luck.

My IPhoto Library is unreadable Tried everything recommended even deleted IPhoto and I still get the error message

I keep getting the error message (photo library is either in use by another application or has become unreadable ) I've tried everything that has been suggested, I've even deleted Iphoto and reinstalled it ,but this doesn't work, I even reinstalled Lion, without success. I've checked for virus s and that is ok. Any ideas as to what the problem is and how can I solve it.

Try this solution:
Start over from scratch with new library
Start over with a new library and import the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from your original library as follows:
1. Move the existing library folder to the desktop.
2. Open the library package like this.
Click to view full size
3. Launch iPhoto and, when asked, select the option to create a new library.
4. Drag the Originals (iPhoto 09 and earlier) or the Masters (iPhoto 11) folder from the iPhoto Library on the desktop into the open iPhoto window.

This will create a new library with the same Events as the original library but will not keep the metadata, albums, books slideshows and other projects. Your original libraruy will not be affected. It will still exist in case you want to try other fixes on it.

Your iphone simply mirros the selected content of your computer. If all of your content is on your computer, then it will be on your iphone.

When you uninstall, the items you uninstall and the order in which you do so are particularly important:
Use the Control Panel to uninstall iTunes and related software components in the following order and then restart your computer:
iTunes
Apple Software Update
Apple Mobile Device Support
Bonjour
Apple Application Support (iTunes 9 or later)
Important: Uninstalling these components in a different order, or only uninstalling some of these components may have unintended affects.
Let us know if following that article and uninstalling those components in that order helped the situation.

There are a number of threads from other people reporting the same iTunes connection issue, it looks like there might be a problem at Apple's end - but you could try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store and then log back in and see if it then works, but it probably won't until Apple's fixed it
