STILL have Proximity problems

Ok, so the antenna has never been an issue for me, I mean I lost signal with the death grip but I never dropped phone calls from it or anything. I hated the fact that it took focus away from the PROXIMITY issue. It was such a big deal for me that I downloaded the GM as soon as it was released last week cause I couldn't wait any longer. Worked great on my first phone call...THEN THE SAME THING HAPPENED. Anybody else having this problem with 4.1?? I'm getting sick of this Apple
PS. Please don't give me the "get a case" answer or a "don't hit the button" as I saw on another post earlier.

Update. Having installed iOS4.1 the problem with my proximity sensor was even worse than before! I immediately took the phone to my local Apple Shop in Bath where they tested it and proved that the screen would reactivate with the sensor covered. I was issued with another new iPhone 4 (my third!) and they downloaded iOS4.1 in the shop and installed same. Tested the new phone in the shop and all appeared good. Took it home and synced it with the backup of my old phone. Have now used it for numerous calls and not a sniff of the screen coming back on. Fingers crossed it lasts!!!!!!
My conclusion is that the proximity problem is a hardware issue and not software related. Apple are probably worried that to admit the problem is hardware related would result in a huge product replacement process which would cost a fortune.
For my part I now have the best mobile phone in the world and it actually let's you make long phone calls without putting them on hold! My iPhone 4 is now on a par with my magical iPad! Long live Apple!

Open Mail>Preferences>Accounts, the first page has this on it

sorry, scratch this, the first post did enable me to find a solution, it was the signon.sqlite file that had become corrupted.
As an interesting aside, this has also fixed the problem with using Xmarksspace which was giving me an "error 3" synchronising problem.
Apologies for the tone of my previous posting, you did provide the information that enabled me to find a solution, thank you and sorry.

I would say that it is a shame, not only bad. My Iphone 5 worked great before upgrading to 6.0.2 and it seems it is not only my experience! Please Apple fix it otherwise I will give back my device ask I will ask refund.

If you buy an Unlocked iPhone from the US, you can use that phone on any carrier that supports that particular phone (either GSM or CDMA). So yes, this is possible. But if anything happens to the phone that requires Apple's help, you will have to ship it back to US for that service.

If you have not already done so, read the router's user manual troubleshooting section and/or contact its customer service department/forums.
If still having problems, post back w/details of all you have tried to resolve the problems along w/the troubleshooting solutions that the "local techies" had you try.

I'm back in the states and i still have a problem with iTunes account

While I was in the dominican republic I wasn't able to make purchases in the iTunes store. I found out it was because I have a us account. But now I'm back but it still is not working and everything I try to do make it work is not fixing the problem.

This is in Google searches? I suggest clearing your Firefox cache and deleting your saved Google cookies. Or you might try just clearing the cookies first.
(1) Bypass Firefox's Cache
Use Ctrl+Shift+r to reload the page fresh from the server.
Alternately, you also can clear Firefox's cache completely using either:
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Options > Advanced
* Firefox menu > Preferences > Advanced
On the Network mini-tab > Cached Web Content : "Clear Now"
If you have a large hard drive, this might take a few minutes.
(2) Remove the site's cookies (save any pending work first). While viewing a page on the site, try either:
* right-click and choose View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* (classic menu bar) Tools menu > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.
Then try reloading the page. Does that help?

Who's "they?" Where have you been getting Flash from? Only get it from these two:

Dumb question maybe, but downloading is not the same as installing. Have you installed it after downloading? You need to double-click the dmg.

I constatnly have to restart my computer to get my iTunes to open. I have updated to the latest version and still have same problem. What is causing this and how do I fix it?

Here are the two ways that I run apps as admin in Win 7. Would recommend trying the first method to see if it works before you use the second method.
First: I use this one if I only need to do it occasionally (you may find this way tedious after a few days). Right click on iTunes and the context menu will pop up. Click on "Run as administrator" then another popup will open asking you to confirm if you want to allow iTunes to have admin privilleges (this happens every time any app requests higher privelliges), choose yes and if our issues are the same iTunes should load.
Second: The semi-permenant method, again I'd say try the other method first to see if this will work for you. Right click on iTunes like before but choose Properites, then go to the Compatibility tab. At the bottom you have the ability to give iTunes admin privilleges every time it loads. Check that box, then click apply then OK. You will still see the box I mentioned earlier (I can't get a screen shot of it) asking if its ok to run with higher rights, but this way is a couple of clicks less.

Basically certain web pages are not loading proper since app Iolo System Mechanic failed. I have reinstalled FF but still not loading right. Buttons are not showing and some pages are in a list instead of the GUI view.

I installed and uninstalled Firefox several times - finaly after I selected NOT to have Firefox as the default browser, the installation worked and pages loads correctly now! I made Firefox the default browser after the successful installation!
