STILL haven't received the 2nd box!

I called to upgrade to the X1 platform for cable and internet on July 19th, I believe. The rep said she would send our self install kit for a DVR box and a 2nd box for our other tv, we'd get HBO and Starz included in the package, and free shipping for the kit. On July 23rd we got our kit... With only one box, the DVR box. I also got an email that showed changes to our service, which had Starz at $10/mo and $9.85 shipping fee for the kit! I called, got the shipping fee removed and another box being sent. She couldn't take off the $10 for Starz, so I had her cancel that. 3-5 days to wait for the new box. No box came. In the meantime, as of July 24th, we suddenly got only about 10 channels (local and PBS)! I called again, was told that with the service order for the new box, our service is cut back. Wonderful. So after 5 business days and no box, I contacted you via live chat last Friday, July 23rd. No 2nd box was ever ordered. He swore that he'd order a new box, ship it Priority so it arrived on the next business day, which was today. NO BOX CAME. He also said he'd "done something to give more channels". NO more channels. What the heck do I have to do to get a bloody 2nd box and the channels we're paying you for?? And, to add insult to injury, your automated phone system hung up on me 3 times tonight!! This is the worst customer service I have ever encountered!

I am having this exact same problem now. Have you had any luck?

Do this:
Make sure you run the battery down an then Recharge it fully before doing the update.
Its a good idea to be close to the Tower so you can get the best signal while doing the update process
let the update go fully thru its steps it will take from 20 to 30 min. an no incoming or outgoing calls can be made an at the end of the update for about 2 to 3 min. it will look like its doing nothing but it is just leave it alone an finally it will be done an will be then at the home screen.
i would then shut it off wait about 5 min an then turn it back on. the boot up process will be alittle faster.
And my final suggestion is enjoy your new Incredble thats what i call mine. B33

I understand that the iOS 7 update has been out for a while but I still havent't recieved the update.

iPod Touch (4th generation) won't support iOS7 because it only has 256 MB ram, iPod Touch (5th generation) has 512 MB ram. (iOS update 6.1.3) is the last and end of line for the device therefore:
There is nothing you can do . . . If you want iOS7, you must purchase iPod Touch (5th generation).

delete your mail account and add again your own then try. if it doesnt work reset the phone and start as an new phone

I am still in the return window but i really do not want to return my mac as i know it has the ability to do what i want, my problem is just finding the software that will work as i know there has been a lot of complications with OS X Mountain Lion with softwares that caim to be compatible but then later turn out not to be.
I have been a windows user for years and this is really my first mac but apart from the hole software issue i find the mac 10x better than any windows computer i have ever used. For example i bought a HP laptop 4 weeks ago and has nothing but problems. At first the fans stopped working and making weird noises and then it began switching off when ever it felt like it and freezing like mad when i was trying to access the smallest program. I have found that now a days you dont get what you pay for with Windows especially since Windows 8 was released. Also Laptops such as HP now are just crammed with cheap parts, they dont take pride in their systems like they once used to unlike Apple. I know i will get more than a year or 2 out my mac (hopefully a lot more) but with windows systems it just seems to break all the time costing more money on extending warrantys. Also i like mac because i dont need to send it away if i ever get a problem, i can just take it into the apple shop half a mile down the road and they will fix it in store. Where as with windows i am waiting 2 weeks+ to just hear back from them.

I live in the UK and for some reason still haven't recieved the update for my Sony Z1 to android 4.3...Everyone else seems to have it apart from and I really want it as it has been out like 2 week or so now? Any idea why I haven't got it yet....?

I ordered my XGrade discs on 2/7, and they were shipped on 2/29. I am in Los Angeles. I still haven't received them, and I am getting a little antsy.
THe email describes media mail as '3-7 days' (I am beyond that now) and I don't think it can be tracked....
Is anyone else still waiting for their crossgrade discs to arrive, with a similar ship date as mine ?

Media mail IS totally dependent on the originating post office. Some have managers/supervisors who say: If it comes in today, it goes out today. Others could give a rat's behind, and they let it pile up in a big hamper. When it gets too heavy to deal with, they load it on a truck to go to a sorting station.
don't get me started on the postal service. If junk mailers had to pay full freight on all the cr@p they send, OUR rates would still be about 14 cents for first class.
When did we all stop being citizens and start being consumers? We are subsidizing the junk mailers. My favorite revenge is taking one mailers stuff and putting it in another's prepaid envelope and sending it. If we all did that, maybe SOMEONE would wake up to the whole stupidity of junk mail.
