Still having a problem with Firefox going to "restart a session" even after re-installing Firefox. Keeps giving me "script error" when closing down. How do I fix this?

As stated previously...I have removed and re-installed Firefox, but am still getting "script error" when shutting it down and going to "restore session" when opening. Please advise what to do about this problem. Thank you.

Firefox 21 and Firefox 22 running on Windows 7 have been reported to take a long time to "wake up" from sleep. I realize hibernation is different than sleep, but... this is the closest match for your description.
Some users have reported that this problem is resolved in Firefox 23 (currently in beta). Others have had inconsistent luck with minimizing Firefox before letting Windows sleep and other measures.

The fact that this just started recently suggests perhaps it is related to another program or update, but I don't think anyone has confirmed the exact interaction that causes the problem.

I think that would have to be a setting in Chrome. That should control how new pages linked from other applications are treated.

I Have followed these steps, and tried others, such as resetting all my network settings. At best these only temporarily fix the problem - wifi still becomes slow or stops. I have other Apple devices connecting fine to my airport express. why is my iPad mini not working? Is it related to the fact it is 3G and I don't have a sim card installed? It is the current top of the range model with iOS 8.0.2. I paid over the odds for the best, and it is almost completely redundant. Apple - I'm losing faith. This issue can be caused by the Babylon Toolbar 1.1.8 extension
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Do not use [[Clear Recent History]] to clear the "Site Preferences"
Clearing "Site Preferences" clears all exceptions for cookies, images, pop-up windows, software installation, and passwords.

Everything was working fine until today. I don't like having tabs on top, and I'd like to have them in the classic firefox position, like many people as well.

To make it open at a nice size, make sure you have only one Firefox window open, then un-maximize it (which should make it small again), then resize the window '''by dragging the corners''' ('''not''' using the maximize button) to make it whatever size you like. Close the window and it should then start back up at the same large size.
The same trick should work with any Windows program that opens in an annoyingly small window :)

Also, have you tried closing all apps? (double click Home button and swipe up with your finger.)

What did the errors say? Can you post a copy of the pdf so we can test out. The presets embed the font, but might be a unicode issue, or one of the few fonts which are copyrighted and do not allow embedding.
What application was the pdf was created from, what settings were used, and if you can outline the fonts. What font or font(s) are the ones reflowing?

Hold down the home button and the power button until you see an Apple logo
