Still Need Flash for Android 4.0

I don't know what's going on or why it's now labeled that it's not available for my country on Google Play, but I still need it for my NEW Android Tablet.
Much like other things in life, we still need what we still need.  How do I get it downloaded for my Galaxy Tab 2?  Even the description left at Google Play says it's for up to Android 4.0.  That's what I have.  Yet it won't allow me to download/install it.
Without it, I cannot play any video's from specific web sites, like Amazon.  So what are people like me supposed to do?  I know the file still has to exist somewhere, so why can't I still get it in some archived form like older versions of Flash for PC's??

Hopefully this FAQ will help:
How do I manually install Flash Player on my Android device?

  • Lastest Flash (16.0.0.305) is installed but Firefox still says I need Flash for most videos. Why?

    I have installed flash multiple times, restarted Firefox, and everything I can think of but every time I come to a page that uses flash player it STILL Says I need Flash player to see the video or whatever is using flash. This has been going on for a while now since the last Firefox update.

    In your More System Details, there is a mystery line that just says "Flash" while the official line says "Shockwave Flash". Could you use by test page to generate a list of the full information for each plugin so it's easier to figure out which one is the stranger?

    Scroll down a bit to the plugin list. It's the "Description" line that will say just "Flash". What is the name of the plugin?

  • Adobe Flash for Android 2.0

  • Flash for android 2.3

    I am trying to  play farmville 2 on my asus tablet - android 2.3 but it keeps giving me a message to upgrade flash 11.2. Can anyone help me?

    You're out of luck:
    On September 10 2013, Adobe released Flash Player 11.1.111.73 for Android 2.x and 3.x and 11.1.115.81 for Android 4.0.x in keeping with statements made in Adobe's publicly available Flash Roadmap. This release is the final update release of Flash Player for the Android operating system. While it is not recommended, if you would like to download this release for previous Android releases, see the links below:
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.73)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.64)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.59)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.54)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.50)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.44)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.43)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.32)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.31)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.29)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.24)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.19)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.16)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.10)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.9)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.8)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.7)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android 2.x and 3.x (11.1.111.5)
    Flash Player 11.1 for Android (11.1.102.59)
    Flash Player 11 for Android (11.0.1.153)
    Flash Player 10.3 for Android (10.3.186.7)
    Flash Player 10.2 for Android (10.2.157.51)
    Flash Player 10.1 for Android (10.1.106.17)
    After 11.1, there is no more Flash Player for Android and there won't be another. Android (as you can see) is no longer compatible with Flash Player. Playing Flash content is very processor consumptive and it drains your battery, also shortening the life of it. Android (Google) recommends using either "Dolphin" or "Puffin" as your browser if you need to view Flash content with a mobile device running Android. They're both availabe in the GooglePlay store. These browsers use "server side" rendering to reduce the load on your device.

  • Still need Pitstop for Acrobat?

    Currently we're using Acrobat 7.1 and Pistop 6.52 to convert and check our own PDFs and client PDFs. As we ponder finally upgrading, we're wondering if we still need Pitstop or can we get by with Acrobat?
    We use Pitstop to convert RGB and CMYK ads to B&W and to ensure that CMYK ads are really CMYK, using the convert color option.
    We also run Preflight tests to ensure that the PDFs that clients send and that we make don't have problems.
    Can Acrobat 9 replace these abilities and if so, which version?

    I am not sure if AA9 Pro can replace PitStop, but the features you mentioned seem to be PreFlight for AA9 Pro. If you have a spare machine around, you might want to download the trail version and give it a try for your need. Note, I said spare machine. Folks often have some issues with removing the trial and such.

  • When will Firefox have Adobe Flash for Android cell phones?

    My website requires Adobe Flash Player to be installed to view images in my photo gallery. Why doesn't Mozilla Firefox support Adobe Flash Player? Will it be available in the very near future? This is an extremely important feature for my site.

    Firefox can use Flash if it is on your device, although this may not always work perfectly. But Firefox never comes with Flash bundled in (I think this is due to Firefox using an open source software license).
    This article has a link for installing Flash from Adobe's site: [[How do I watch Flash videos with Firefox for Android?]].
    Regarding the design of your gallery, how does it work on Apple iOS devices that can't run Flash due to Apple policies? Maybe there's a similar "fallback" technique that can work on Firefox for Android if the user hasn't installed Flash.

  • Flash for android browser?

    Hi,
    I want to ask when will flash player be available for android browser and android browser too.
    please reply me at my email id.

    Akash

    Flash Player WAS available for Android... Until June 2012. It is no more and won't ever be again. Adnroid is no longer compatible with Flash technology. Adbroid (Google) has alternative browsers (Dolphin & Puffin) which can play Flash content using server side rendering. These are available in the GooglePlay Store. There are free versions, but apparently Google is selling the FULL versions which must be used to view Flash content.
    And.. DO NOT post your private email in a public forum. It's unsafe and prohibited by Adobe community guidelines.

  • Does JMF still need QTime for .mov files ?

    Hello,
    My question may look stupid, but I have read the JMF supports the .mov format QTime). Does this mean that I does not need QT (or ITunes) anymore, or is it still needed ?
    Before I was using the Java QTime Interface API. Is JMF just an alternative to this API ? Or is it a complete replacement.
    In fact, I'm in the process of migrating applications from Windows to Linux, and there is no QT or ITunes in this environment. So, I'm looking for a solution.
    Many thanks in advance.
    Gege

    My question may look stupid, but I have read the JMF supports the .mov format QTime).Yes, it does.
    Does this mean that I does not need QT (or ITunes) anymore, or is it still needed ?JMF has its own codecs, renderers, etc. for .mov format, so it does not need anything additional to play the file. (see this to know all supported formats for all platforms in JMF)
    Before I was using the Java QTime Interface API. Is JMF just an alternative to this API ? Or is it a complete replacement. I can't say anything about this, I have no idea about the api you are mentioning.
    Thanks!

  • Needed: flash for dummies - a template for HTML snippet

    I am a dummy when in comes to code. I understand that iWeb '08 uses "HML Snippets" and by using them, you can add flash movies (.flv or .swf) to your iWeb '08 created site.
    What I (and apparently many other dummies) need is a step by step set of instructions on how to modifiy an HTML template and where to put the flash files to get them to work.
    <http://web.mac.com/wyodor/Embed_Media/Embed.html> provides useful HTML templates, but they leave many unanswered questions that dummies, like me, have no clue about. Here is the template for .flv files with my questions in CAPITALS.
    Object for Flash movies with player.
    The outer object is for Safari.
    The inner object is for Firefox/Camino.
    This sample uses a Flash player. There are several Flash players around you can use.
    <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000" width="320" height="260"CHANGE WIDTH AND HEIGHT TO DIMENSIONS OF MY FLASH MOVIE-YES? codebase="http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/pub/shockwave/cabs/flash/swflash.cab #version=8,0,0,0">
    <param name="src" value="http://url/to//anpplayer.swf?file=movie.flv&amp;autoStart=true" />CHANGE URL TO LOCATION OF .FLV FILE? CHANGE MOVIE.FLV TO NAME OF FLASH MOVIE?
    <param name="autoplay" value="true" />
    <param name="loop" value="false" />
    <param name="controller" value="false" />
    <param name="kioskmode" value="false" />
    <param name="cache" value="true" />
    <param name="scale" value="tofit" />
    <object type="application/x-shockwave-flash" data="http://url/to/anpplayer.swf?file=movie.flv&amp;autoStart=true" width="320" height="260">CHANGE URL TO LOCATION OF .FLV FILE? CHANGE MOVIE.FLV TO NAME OF FLASH MOVIE? CHANGE DIMENSIONS TO THOSE OF MY FLASH MOVIE?

    <param name="loop" value="false" />
    <param name="controller" value="false" />
    <param name="kioskmode" value="false" />
    <param name="cache" value="true" />
    <param name="scale" value="tofit" />
    </object>
    </object>
    IF YOU INCLUDE THE FLASH MOVIE IN THE iWEB FILES FOR THAT PAGE, IS THERE A WAY TO INDICATE THAT THE PATH TO THEM IS SHORTER THAN THE WHOLE HTTP//...?
    I have read all the postings and gone to all the sites and attempted doing what they seem to say and I am still having no luck. I hope someone will take the time to explain to dummies like me how to do this. I used iWeb because I thought it would be simple.

    Remember, I am a dummy.
    The path I gave to files is an invention, not the actual path I am using, but that is not the problem (I suspect). I have eliminated the parameters ending in false. Will that mean that the controller shows up? That the movies does not loop?
    Should the question mark not be there or is it required? I have no idea what it does.
    My understanding (or misunderstanding) was that this code has two parts to address playback on various browsers. Is that true or is it just redundant?
    Here is what I have now. If you could just make necessary changes and post, that would probably be the biggest help. The "piecemeal" approach leaves me with more questions. Thanks for all the help.

    Hi Deb...iPod doesnt have flash.  Are you using a farmville app?
    Anyway, i've spend multiple hrs. on farmville from my X.  I posted a tutorial on how to get it to work.  It's not as simple as loading flash and playing the game.

    Follow this and you should be able to play...i play on 3G all the time.  There a a bunch of people that couldnt get it to work for some reason...I don't have any work arounds or answers if my steps don't work.  It works great for me.

  • Flash for android

    I see Adobe has locked us Android owners out of having the flash player.. I also see that simultaneously ABC is charging android owners if we want to watch our favorite programs on our smart phones.  Hmm...  flash has always been free and now we have to pay that it is ubiquitous....again...hmmm...
    My question - legacy flash is not working...I am GREATLY disappointed.. Is there any remedy?
