I still need to update Ical and can't figure out where to do this. Is it still possible?

I would be happy to help! Go up to the Apple icon at the top left. Then click on Software Update. This should update your Apps including iCal. If its still not updated you may have to install or reinstall the latest version of osX which now is Snow Leopard.

iT is good practice to keep all your security software up to date, remember your phone is just a source to access the internet, the vulnerability reside in your computer not on your phone.

I am trying to transfer my old photos from a mac from 2008 and it keeps telling me to uodate my iphoto (on my brand new mac) so i downloaded, as told and it still wont work. Keeps telling me to update.
You have to download and RUN the library updater. Applications folder ==> utilities and double click on the library updater then after it runs launch iPhoto to complete the upgrade

I had the same error when trying to update my apps on my ipod touch. I tried to input my security code numerous times to no avail. I also made sure my billing address was the same as what my bank had on file. To fix the issue I went into iTunes, logged onto the iTunes store, went to account settings and reviewed my recent purchases. Turned out that I had made a recent purchase and didn't have enough money left on my credit card to pay for it at the time. I paid off the credit card, and then input my security code once more and now it works fine. I've heard that some debit or pay as you go credit cards require a minimum balance, so make sure you have at least that amount in your account.

This has been happening on & off for awhile. I've tried updating thru firefox, uninstalling & updating in firefox, and within acrobat. It says its updating but the version doesn't change & can't find any evidence it did. Even uninstalling it still reinstalled 10.1.4.38 - the same version I've had since started using firefox.
By the way, today I updated 'Shockwave Flash' thru same place & update said it still needed to update (cant remember which version it said) but I had disabled ''Shockwave for Director'. When I enabled it the update stopped saying it needed Flash update.
Any chance there is a link between Acrobat & something else similar to the 'Director' that will assist in update recognizing it? A distant cousin-program?Thank you so much jscher2000. I still have an iPad 1, and need to update to iOS 7 to use Keynote, Pages and Numbers but I get the message the my system is updated in iOS 5.1.1 and doent's offer me another update! How can I update it? Or I can't?

Ever since updating to new OS, my iphone won't sync to itunes. When I plug in the phone to the PC, dialog box says I need to update itunes to 10.6.3 or later. I did that update, but still get the same error message.

I have os 10.5.8 software on my mac and I need to update the software on my mac so I can update my iphone 4s, every time I try to update my mac with the 6.0 it says it doesn't need any updates, but my mac still has 10.5.8.... any help?? Please...
You must first buy Snow Leopard from Apple: 800-MY-APPLE (in the US)
Make sure your system meets Snow Leopard's requirements:

You will probably want to download the newest version of iTunes (iTunes 11.1) directly from Apple and install it on your computer if you are having issues updating. The link for the download can be found here:

Something prevents your computer from update. Most times it is your security software, try to disable it first and then download. Make sure your download started from the beginning (don't use old download) and verify that you downloading correct version of itunes (32 or 64 bit)

I'm updating my old G4 Powermac to a Mac Pro. As a front end I have a Focusrite ISA 428 with the optional ADC which gives 8 digital outputs.
Do I still need my old MOTU 2408 (Motu will sell me a PCI-424x adaptor to fit the Mac Pro) when I can lightpipe straight into the Mac Pro optical ins from the optical out of the Focusrite?
I guess I'm wondering whether I need a soundcard at all?Not being funny!

Trapping Problems with Placed Illustrator files
Mac 10.5.4 CS3 I am using CS3 to print postscript files and then making PDFs with Distiller. The Indesign file is full of .ai links that are not trapping correctly. When I view the PDF file the overprint warning shows up where the trap is correct. Th
