Still no Internet and/or File Support in Adobe Encore ?!?

Hi... just wondering if Adobe still hasn´t added Link or File Support.
I do help myself with Sonic EDVD - but since it must have its own program to use for their Actions for pointing to files i don´t like the way.
I know that other softwares do easily add Weblinks like Apple Studio Pro.
Isn´t Adobe thinking of adding that Web/File options as well?!?
Or am i wrong that normal DVD-Content don´t think of pointing to HTML Links or stuff like that???
The more movies DVDs i watched the more web links i saw and i guess none of that were done with Adobe Encore DVD which is really a pity in my opinion as it´s really a easy to use program.
Still i encountered a lot of encoding problems and i only solved it with trying to reencode it several times and then try to build the project. No real mistakes can be seen in the Assets Files i used though.

>The more movies DVDs i watched the more web links i saw and i guess none of that were done with Adobe Encore DVD which is really a pity in my opinion as it´s really a easy to use program.
How do you know that?
I have a few friends in the business who use nothing but EncoreDVD in tandem with Sonic's eDVD - and since they dropped the price to what it is from the original $800, it's more and more commonplace.
The apple implementation is, IMSHO, like all apple stuff - a fudge on top of a bodge.
Sonic invented this way of working, and eDVD4 is the best yet.
For getting this licensed into Encore (Which is the way it would have to work) send in a feature request - but bear in mind it will increase the selling price of the program. This, I suspect, is why it has been left out so far as not everyone wants or needs this functionality.
I admit that I would dearly love to see it included, but for every feature that we want - others will want a cheaper price point over new features. Sadly, you cannot please everyone.
But please do send in the request, as the more people ask for it the greater the chances of it happening are.

how do i unzip and run the newly downloaded Adobe Encore trial version on a windows computer?

First, there is no such thing as an Encore trial, due to licensing of 3rd party program modules
Second, Encore is installed as a bundle with Premiere Pro CS6
Third, the CS5-thru-CC PPro/Encore tutorial list http://forums.adobe.com/thread/1448923 will help
The bottom section of the link above has several Adobe links, and other information, on downloading Premiere Pro CS6 and the bundled Encore CS6, and the TWO ADDED downloads for the Encore library content, to author a DVD or BluRay... and the tutorial list includes learning how to use Encore... pay particular attention to the picture in reply 3 at this link - https://forums.adobe.com/thread/1516173 (picture first posted by Ann Bens and reposted by Stan Jones)

  • Nokia Internet Radio playlist file support

Why not support in future releases of Nokia internet Radio playlist files as .pls or .m3u? NIR is an awesome app but it lacks this great feature in my opinion. For example all BBC radio channels have a high quality AAC stream but the dynamic url is in a .pls file http://bbc.co.uk/radio/listen/live/r1_aaclca.pls
    Please consider this option.
    Thank you

I'll second that. I can only get BBC Radio 4 on Yourmuze.fm, which uses the player and won't allow anything else to run at the same time.
When I listen to BBC Worldservice I can make notes as I listen and/or go to relevant websites while listening, but not with R4.

  • Is the Sony ARW raw files supported in Adobe Photoshop Elements 10?

I downloaded and installed CameraRaw_8_8 and installed it, restarted my Adobe Elements 10, but nothing seemed to change.  My Adobe Elements 10 still does not allow me to select a ARW raw file photo.  Am I missing something?

  • Can FFmpeg produce f4f, f4x and f4m files instead of Adobe's File Packager for HTTP Dynamic Streaming?

I need a command tool to produce f4f , f4x and f4x files. And I know Adobe's File Packager. But I'd like to use FFmpeg(Because it's opensource) to produce those files. I am not sure whether FFmpeg can produce f4f , f4x and f4x files for HTTP Dynamic Streaming or not. My goal is to achieve HTTP Dynamic Streaming in Linux with opensource tool instead of Adobe Flash Media Server.

Isn't the packager part of Flash Media Server?

  • Nokia 5800 and Office File support?

    Hi there,
Does nokia 5800 'tube' phone supports creation/reading/editing of Office files like .doc or excel files or ppt files. also does it support reading of PDF files.
Nowhere in the phone's specifications it is mentioned.
Can i buy some external application which does that?
Please advise if someone has used it. I want to buy this phone but i struck between E71 or 5800.
    any suggestions?

There is a great external application whcih is the only one that actually works on the 5800 whcih you can use - it is called OfficeSuite. You can find it here http://www.mobisystems.com/product.html?pid=277&l=1&p=15&i=1 I have been waiting for it for while and I was very happy when they released it on Sale
You can download the trial and test it also.

  • [TIP] PS Touch and RAW file support...

    Hi all,
Just wanted to let users know of something surprising I found: PS Touch does let you work with (I'm assuming supported) RAW files, though it's rudimentary (i.e., you can import and that's it; no Camera Raw features or anything like that). I know Fujifilm's RAF files work; I would imagine other supported RAW file formats would as well.
You must use Creative Cloud to do so, which is free to join. (2 GB initially; 20 GB if subscribed.) All you have to do is upload your RAW images as they are to Creative Cloud and then add the images from CC as you would any other image in PS Touch.
    Just a heads-up.

Size in pixels ultimately determines the file size. Tap the ampersand icon in the upper right > Image Size. (If you need a file size calculator, try Googling. There are tons of online tools out there.)

  • Apache 2.0.x and large file support (bigger than 2GB)

I've seen on the mail list people complaining that apache 2.0.55 can't serve files bigger than 2GB.
The sollution is to compile with this option:
    export CPPFLAGS="-D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64"
(and this is default in 2.2.x)
Now, an Apache compiled with those options is most probably not binary compatible with mod_php or mod_python or other out-of-tree apache modules, so they'll need recompileing too.
Now, I've noticed that /home/httpd/build/config_vars.mk needs to be patched too, so that the php and python modules pick up the setting when compiled.
You need to find the EXTRA_CPPFLAGS variable and add the two defines from above to it.. At the end it should look something like this:
    EXTRA_CPPFLAGS = -DLINUX=2 -D_REENTRANT -D_XOPEN_SOURCE=500 -D_BSD_SOURCE -D_SVID_SOURCE -D_GNU_SOURCE -D_LARGEFILE_SOURCE -D_FILE_OFFSET_BITS=64
BTW in lighttpd (well at least in 1.4.11) the --enable-lfs is enabled by default.

  • Cache-Control and Accept-Encoding support in Adobe AIR HTML Component

I am evaluating Adobe AIR's HTML component and trying to figure out what is supported.
I built the AIR app and had it point to www.google.com
I notice that the requests to fetch JS,CSS from Adobe AIR do not include Accept-Encoding: gzip header.
Does Adobe AIR's HTML Component support Accept-Encoding : gzip header ?
I also noticed that even though the content served with far futures expiry, i.e. has Cache-Control: maxage={value} subsequent requests are being made and content is not served from the browser's cache.
I observed this accross the app restarts.
Can someone please clarify support of the two above Http headers ?
    Thank you.

  • Encore Project Settings and Encoded file is less in Encore than on my Drive.

    Hi,
Before Encoding my Premiere Pro timeline in Media Encoder, I had set up my all my menus and all my assets in Encore CS 5.1. After I had done all that, I pressed the "Build button and it said I had around 23 GB left (I am making a Blu-Ray DVD)
So I went back to Premiere Pro CS 5.5 and Encoded my Project through Media Encoder. I set it it H.264 Blu-Ray, PCM Audio, Target Bit Rate was 18.5 and Max Bit Rate was 20. The estimated file size said it was going to be around 23 GB. This was perfect.
So I encoded it and when it was done, on the Hard Drive, it was 23 GB, just like to was supposed to be.
I then imported it into my Encore project and put it on the timeline. I then looked at the Build tab to see how many GB I had left on the Disc. I wanted a little room.
It said I am only using just over 20 GB and have a little over 4 GB left to use..
Why would this happen? I now have more free space.
In Encore, I wento to File ------ Project Settings ------ Default Transcode settings ---- and that was set at:
    Max Audio/Video
    Codec MPEG 2
    Bit Rate = 15 MBPS.
    The Audio was on Dolby.
There was a drop down list, in the Bit Rate category, that I could have chosen to use 20 or 25. I left it at 15 for now.
If I go back and choose 20 or 25 would that make the encoding of my whole project (Menus and h.264 Blu-Ray) a little better quality than it is now? Will it increase the size of Encoded project so when I hit the Build tab again it will show I have less space available to use? I want to make the project  as good as it can get without going over the 25 GB limit.
    One other thing.
Wih my final project on the Encore Timeline, when I have the Sequence active, on the Project tab in Encore it reads: 19.1 GB Encoded (Audio and Video). the final encode is 23 GB. Why is it going down to 19?
The video looks good and I could burn it to a Blu-Ray now and it would look great. I just want to know if there is some way to make it a little better inside Encore without having to Encode my whole project at a higher Bit Rate knowing that It will be a little less when I bring it into Encore.
    Thanks in advance
    Premiere Pro CS 5.5
    Media Encoder 5.5
    Encore 5.1

Many issues in this; one problem is understanding file sizes and Encore's handling of project panel sizes and build panel sizes.
    See post 7 here:
    http://forums.adobe.com/message/4838089#4838089
Regarding bitrate calculators and a shorthand method mentioned by Jeff Pulera, see his post 2 in that same thread. I see that it was regarding DVD; I wonder if someone has a shorthand like that for Bluray?

  • Video file shorter in Adobe Encore CS6

I edited a film in Premiere Pro CC and exported the audio and video (at the same time) as H.264 Blu Ray and AC3 audio.  When I imported these files into Encore CS6 to author the Blu Ray disc, the .m4v video file is slightly shorter than the film in the actual project, resulting in audio that is syncronized at the beginning of the film, but gets progressively worse and is ultimately out of sync by about 10 seconds at the end of the film.  As you can see in the screenshot below, the film is 03:49:34:01 in length, but in Encore CS6 it's saying 03:49:25:10.  The AC3 audio file is the correct length in Encore.  The footage is all 23.976fps captured from Canon 5D Mark II cameras set to 24p.  When I had dynamic link, this all worked perfectly and I never had issues with it.  Am I missing something?
Previously, I was able to successfully author a DVD from the same film with no audio sync issues.

  • TS1398 My iPod touch 4 suddenly disconnected from internet and refuses to reconnect, I've tried all troubleshooting and even restoring. Internet router working fine for laptop, already tried restarting.

It has been working all day long, when suddenly my email told me I wasn't connected to the internet even though I had a solid connection. I tried forgetting the network and re-logging in and it didn't work. I tried restarting the router even though my laptop still has internet, and that didn't change anything. Under general setting I reset all the network information and it still didn't work. Since I had been previously experiencing problems with apps shutting down unexpectedly, I tried backing up and restoring my iPod and it still won't connect to my network.

Does the iPod connect to other networks?
Does the iPod see the network?
    Any error messages?
    Do other devices now connect?
    Did the iPod connect before?
Try the following to rule out a software problem:
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Power off and then back on the router
    - Reset network settings: Settings>General>Reset>Reset Network Settings

    - Restore from backup. See:

  • Opening InDesign and Photoshop files

Why can't I see any .indd or .psd files in my Gallery (Android)? I know they're there - can see them in my file manager.

    Hi NeithLeigh
The native Gallery app is meant for just standard image formats and does not support product specific formats, not even Adobe products. If you have InDesign or Photoshop files you wanted to import into Adobe Debut; the best way to do so is to upload your .psd and .indd files to the Adobe Creative Cloud Files website https://creative.adobe.com/ from your desktop and then import them into Adobe Debut on your tablet through the Creative Cloud option.
