Still no option to update credit card expiry date

I have a Skype Number, paid for until October. My credit card used to pay for it expires at the end of August (as Skype keeps telling me) so Skype is threatening to cut off the service as of September 1st.
There is no option to update the credit card info without buying call credit. I do not want or need call credit.
Other threads have raised this issue but there's still no satisfactory fix from Skype. I suggest other dissatisfied users keep posting about this problem in new threads until Skype does something about it. 

Going through this frustration myself. Just about every other online sales company allows you to get in and change a few details to update. Not on Skype though. Just the stress of going round in circles trying to do something easy the hard way and that includes the FAQ's on this no joy there either.
I hate to complain about an otherwise effective service. But I have to, I just can't understand this logic defying lack of capability, unless it's to squeeze another £ out of you to verify the card you are already using.

    Reset the device:
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    Then edit your payment details.
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. Then try again.

  • Changing credit card expiry date

    For several years I have used a prepaid reloadable Visa debit/credit card to pay for my Skype subscriptions.  My current card expires at the end of November, so I have now been issued a new card and it is active. My new card has the exact same account number. Only the expiry date, and my private security code, have changed.
    I am not able to just update the expiry date of my credit card in my Skype account settings as there is no option for that in those settings. In order to use my new credit card I have to delete my old credit card information. However, when I was about to do that I got a message that in order to delete my old credit card I must first cancel my Skype subscriptions.  
    This makes no sense to me. I do not want to cancel my Skype subscriptions because I do not own any other phone so it is essential to me.  Also, I have a Skype call-in number that I want to keep. If I am required to cancel my subscriptions in order to add my new credit card, I will lose that number, which will be a major pain in the ass for me.
    All I need to do is provide Skype with my new expiry date of my new Visa card, but there is no easy way to do that. Why not? 
    And why is it so **bleep** hard for a long time paying customer to get any answers from actual Skype employees?

    I have the exact same issue and have wasted the last half hour going in circles with the site.
    Skype send you email to update the expiry, but gives absolutely no info on how to do it, or how to contact them. How can we update expiry date without cancelling our card?
    Millions of people must have the same issue. Pretty shocking and stupid when they don't address the problem.

  • Can't update credit card expiration date

    I'm from Europe (Romania). So my credit card expired last month. Went to the bank. They handed me a new card with a new expiration date and three-digit code (same card number, name). I've tested the card and it works online. Paypal lists the old card as expired (in red). When I click on update expiration date and save, it says that my credit card has been updated succesfully, but it still lists the card as 'expired' (does not update date). I've done this 3 times yesterday and it's the same. Any advice? Shuold I call in and have paypal update my card manually? Thanks for helping out this amateur.

    Ha, it was the bank's fault! Well that was a headache. If anyone else is reading and get this same issue, talk to your bank about it. They had some sort of restrictions on the card default.

    Did as advised in email from Skype, i.e. 
    1. Sign into your Skype account
    2. Click "Subscription settings" on the Call Phones tab
    3. Choose an existing stored payment method or add a new method
    Signed into "my account", went into Stored Payment Details but can't click Visa symbol to change details.  Can't find "subscription settings".

    Skype, get with it!  There have been several threads pointing out there is no way to update credit card expiration date.  We keep getting these warning emails that account (along with accumulated credit) is about to expire due to expired credit card info.  But having chased every blind alley in "My Account" and elsewhere, there is absoluetly no way to do this.  The so called "solutions" from prior forum posts refer to an interface that does not exist - at least for some users.  Specifically, it describes a path that starts with click "subscriptions" but this option does not always exist.
    Very unhappy with web services that waste time due to lousy coordination within the organization that does not keep instructions in synch with actual product evolution.
    Fix this, please!

    Cannot update my current card.
    Cannot delete my expired card.
    Was compelled to add another bankcard just to keep the account current.
    Support pages reference menus which do not appear under any menu sequence.
    Using Mac OSX 10.6.8  with Firefox browser.

    My credit card  expiry needs updating. After three days of frustrating searches, I finally got my daughter, in another state, to log me on, but then all info in the web still doesn't tell me how to update. The web is bloody useless when seeking a simple answer. Several people report the same sort of problems. Can anyone please advise ?

    Want to create Apple ID for both my children's IPad's.  Tried creating new email account for my son and it will not let me.  I want them to be only able to purchase from redeemed gift cards and everytime it asks me to update credit card info on their Ipad.

    Look, I understand I still need a card attached to the account. The problem is, it won't accept my card because I only have 87 cents in my bank account right now.
    If I had known there would be so much trouble with the iTunes card, I would have just put the cash in my bank account in the morning instead of buying an iTunes card (I didn't expect the banks to be open on Thanksgiving of course).
    Apple will only accept cards that have a balance. The balance is so small in my account that it won't accept it as a valid card.
    I'm going to have to contact Apple anyway to reset the security questions. That's obvious. Your answers were not exactly helpful. You didn't tell me anything I don't already know, but thanks for trying to be helpful.

    Yes I'm facing the same VERY FRUSTRATING PROBLEMS.
    Thanks Romsinha for you kind words and I know that it's not your fault, but it's not enough to try to fix this issue over the
    chat or phone. It needs to be escalated to whoever at ADOBE manages Creative Cloud Bugs.
    I just logged the following under the "Creative Suite" Bug reports, since I can not find anything CC related:

    WHICH I COULD NOT FIND ANY REPORTING OPTION IN THE DROPDOWN BOX
    Concise problem statement:
    Extremly frustrating issue with updating credit card details
    Steps to reproduce bug:
    1. Log in to my Adobe Account
    2. Go To 'My Products and Services'
    3. Find that my Creative Cloud Subscription needs credit card details updated
    4. Click on update and then edit credit card info
    5. See that the credit card info has updated
    6. Wait for Adobe to deduct payment from my account.
    7. On next day get notification that I'm one day closer to my membership running out (due to me not having updated my credit card details - apparently)
    8. Get in touch with Support over 24/7 Chat
    9. Actions that are suggested to me, are steps 1-6 which I (being very frustrated) execute AGAIN.
    10. Wait for steps 7-8 to repeat
    11. Contact Adobe Phone "Support"
    12. Have Adobe suggest me to repeat steps 1-6.
    13. Me being very very frustrated doing the same f****ing thing again, using two different credit cards, both which work perfect with any other, offline (in supermarket) and online - transaction.

  • Updating Credit Card information problem:

    For the past 26 days (4 days of CC remaining) I've tried updating my credit card information as I've received a new card from my bank. Now this shouldn't be a problem but every time I've followed the steps on the creative cloud website, I end up waiting 24 hours just to find out that the process has not worked. Through various phone calls and contact support chats I was told to phone my bank and see whether the problem is because I have blocks preventing me making payments to certain places. However, they then told me my card is fine, and has nothing that may stop making a payment, (the same as my first card which worked fine for 3 months).
    I then go through the very tedious process of updating my card information and waiting in the contact support chat system for someone to tell me the same thing, every single time. I really do not know what to do. I need CC for my current course at university, and with only 4 days left I don't want to be told to wait another 24 hours to see whether my payment has been accepted.
    The only thing I can think is different or odd is the fact that every time I update my information I am not asked to verify via password. Although on the walkthrough for updating credit card information it says this is the last step.
    If anyone can help me I would greatly appreciate it, this is truely my last option.

    Each time that you add or change your card details then a small temporary store holding charge (i.e. $1) may be applied to check that the card details are correct and valid and that it's registered to exactly the same name and address as on your iTunes account - it should disappear off your account within a few days or so.
