Still no sound or mu

Hello,
I recently wrote about not getting sound on my daughter's mp3. I have plugged it in the my computer and it says that there is music on it; but when we turn on the mp3 player, it says "no music". I have check the idtags from my computer that we ripped from, and it is all correct. From this site I see that there is possible way of restoring. I don't see it on the player itself. Any suggestions?

Since you can see the content on the computer, the easy solution for you may be to back-up all the content to the computer, format the player, and then reload the player. You should be aware though, that you may be reading file names on the computer and not ID3 tags, so even though you've checked the ID3 tags, they may not be in the right place to display on the player. If you ripped the content from CDs, getting the tag info from Gracenote or Microsoft's database is usually the easiest and most of those labels are pretty accurate.

What computer operating system is your Premiere Elements 12/12.1 running on? Can we assume that this audio plays back OK
on the same computer when you are using a computer player independent of Premiere Elements?
What are the properties of these clips that worked before but do not know with regard to sound
For now, I will assume that you are working on Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit.
Have you checked the Edit Menu/Preferences/Audio Hardware ASIO settings? Do you have any 3rd party audio devices incorporated in your computer environment?
Please delete the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file and, if that does not work, then the whole 12.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists. The Windows 7, 8, or 8.1 64 bit path is
    Local Disk C
    Users
    Owner
    AppData
    Roaming
    Adobe
    Premiere Elements
    12.0
and, in the 12.0 Folder, is the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file that you delete. If that does not work, then delete the whole 12.0 Folder in which the Adobe Premiere Elements Prefs file exists. Make sure that you are working with Folder Option "Show Hidden Files, Folders, and Drives" active so that you can see the complete path cited.
Do you have installation files or installation disc with the purchased serial number in case we need to resort to uninstall/reinstall?
We will be watching for your follow up.

  • Drivers are all working but still no sound with windows 7

I have a very frustrating sound issue. My sound has worked completely fine up until yesterday. When I booted up my computer, I realized that no sound came out. I've gone through many forums to find the solution and I've checked all the simple stuff like making sure that my devices are enabled, audio service enabled, reinstalled/upadated the sound drivers etc... I've even gone into BIOS and loaded default settings and still no sound. I've gotten to the point where I have no idea what else I can do. Help please!

    Hello all,
I'm sorry that you are running into this issue of no sound. Do you get any sound through headphones?
Also I would suggest trying a hard reset as the next quickest and less invasive step. This can sometimes fix strange issues because it drains all of the electricity out of the unit. Here are the steps for a Hard Reset.
Hope this helps! Let me know the results if you get a chance

    Hi rsample,
Thank you for visiting Apple Support Communities.
Your symptoms make it sound like the iPhone side switch is set to silent mode.

  • Unload swf but still playing sound

hi I have 10 swf's, i m displaying 1 swf for each question displaying 1 swf, but problem is i unload the swf and load the next question clip but old one is still playing sound..
    what is the solution//????

    There are a few things you'd want to do when unloading a SWF in AS3 - but the most important would be to tell your Loader object to unload. Specficially, unloadAndStop(). So if you used myLoader to load in the SWF file, then use myLoader.unloadAndStop();
It's also a good idea to stop any audio or video that you have playing in the SWF file - but that all depends on how you have thinsg set up and are using the audio/video in the SWF.

You have your mute button on.  In Settings check to see if you have Lock Orientation checked or Mute checked on the right hand side.  If you have Mute checked, all you need to do is click the mute button above the volume control buttons on the upper right hand side of your iPad.  If you have Lock Orientation checked in settings, you double click your home button and the most recent apps will appear.  Swipe your finger to the right until the Mute icon appears on the left side.  Touch it and you will unmute system sounds.

A small update to this issue....
I have been trawling the forums to find an answer but to no avail...
And... I've tried exporting and bouncing individual stems and the full session, either by muting all bar the stem or soloing the stem.....and still nothing.
Same problems.....everything is audible in audition but nothing plays on playback.
Since the 'prelisten' channel strip is Solo safe this would indicate that you have a track or channel strip soloed somewhere else, out of sight. Are the Mute buttons on your channel strips blinking?
To view all objects in your mixer, click the button. You may have to scroll sideways to check the whole mixer.

  • Installed Probook 4411s sound drivers - still no sound

    Hi there,
I recently reformated my laptop and I installed the Probook 4411s Audio drivers pack (3 drivers) that is offered on HP website for Windows XP professional (of course all the rest of the drivers that are offered were installed as well).

I admit my knowledge is a bit limited on the subject and I was hoping someone could tell me why there is still no sound on my computer?
If anyone can explain me how to solve this problem or even send a link to an additional driver - I would really appreciate it,
    Thanks.

    Go To Device Manager.
There Under Sound Tab , There are Two Options
One For ATI and Another For Sound Max
    Select Sound MAx

  • Still no sound with toggle switch moved

I check thed toggle switch, it is not orange, still no sound on anything.

    1. If you have no sound at all, even in the Music App, try rebooting the iPad.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
    2. If you lost sounds for keyboard clicks, games or other apps, email notifications and other notifications, system sounds may have been muted.
System sounds can be muted and controlled two different ways. The screen lock rotation can be controlled in the same manner as well.
Settings>General>Use Side Switch to: Mute System sounds. If this option is selected, the switch on the side of the iPad above the volume rocker will mute system sounds.
If you choose Lock Screen Rotation, then the switch locks the screen. If the screen is locked, you will see a lock icon in the upper right corner next to the battery indicator gauge.
If you have the side switch set to lock screen rotation then the system sound control is in the task bar. Double tap the home button and in the task bar at the bottom, swipe all the way to the right. The speaker icon is all the way to the left. Tap on it and system sounds will return.
If you have the side switch set to mute system sounds, then the screen lock rotation can be accessed via the task bar in the same manner as described above.
This support article from Apple explains how the side switch works.

    3. If you still have no sound at all in any app or for notifications, keyboard clicks, etc. ....try cleaning the dock connector opening of the iPad with a soft brush and just a little bit of rubbing alcohol.

  • No audio output from my MacBook, but still chime sounds upon loading !

    Hi Guys,
Basically my Mac all of a sudden started bugging out loading real slow, Generally lagging. So I held the the power button down for ten seconds for an emergency reboot. When everything loaded up again I couldn't get any sound from my Mac being no bleeps when when I'd toggle with the volume or any sound when listening to iTunes. HOWEVER.. The chime upon loading when turning on the Mac works and when I open up one of my projects in Logic Pro X the sound works in relation to playing the music I've worked on with my project but still if I toggle the volume there's still no sound along with iTunes, Youtube... Everything !

So basically if a iphone has a fault after the 1 year warranty period is over, there is nothing the consumer can do but purchase a new phone??
Pretty much. Except that Apple will replace it for a fixed fee that is far less than the cost of a new phone. In the US the replacement cost for an iPhone 4 is $149. It is comparable in the UK. Unless you can prove that the fault was present at the time of purchase. A switch wearing out would probably be considered normal wear and tear, not a "fault".
