Still Not Receiving Facebook Notifications

I stopped receiving my notifications about 2 weeks ago (approximately June 8/9th). So far I have tried the following:
-powering down and restarting
-removing the battery and restarting
-switching the email address associated with Fb account (yes both old & new are linked to my Bb)
-changed password, thought my account may have been hacked into
-deleted and reinstalled app several times
I follow BlackberryHelp on Twitter and a tweet was posted last week that the problem was fixed and users should be receiving notifications again but I still am not. Please let me know if there's something I'm missing and haven't tried yet or if I need to speak with my provider about this issue.

Current Problem: But, now I don't receive facebook notifications. I have the newest version of facebook, and i still receive regular ol' email notifications via my gmail app, but no more cool little f's with "so-and-so wrote on your wall!". not in my "messages" client or in my facebook client. i can still connect to facebook with the client, as i can retrieve status updates of friends, write messages from it, etc.
everyone that i've read on the boards is under the impression that facebook app notifications simply aren't linked to your BB email account... but my situation seems to question this. any suggestions? i appreciate it!

email address that receives Facebook account notifications is not
the email address that is asso...
Basically if your Gmail address is not assoicated through BIS on your device then you will not get the notifications.

Why am I not receiving Facebook notifications in OSX 10.8.2?

Today I updated to the new Mountain Lion 10.8.2 with Facebook integration. All setup went well I can share directly to Facebook through the notification center. However I am not receiving notifications. Why is this? Twitter only delivers notifications when the app is open, but there is no Facebook app.

I am not receiving Facebook Notifications in the Notification Center.

I've enabled Facebook integration on my MacBook Pro, and it allows me to set up Contacts and whatnot, and it even placed a Post to Facebook button in my Notifications Panel but I have yet to recieve any Facebook notifications these past two days. What gives?
'Apps' are set to 'ON' in my Facebook privacy settings, and Posting from NC works just fine. Am I missing something?

After upgrading to 10.3 OS I do not get Facebook notifications

After upgrading to 10.3 OS I do not get Facebook notifications. Only when I go in the FB app I can see I have some notifications. But I do not receive alerts/notifications just as other apps like what's app or BBM on my Q10

If Xandrex's solution does not work, I have fixed this more than once by removing my FB account and the app, then reinstall and re-add. I like Xandex's solution better if it works tho

Ordered iPhone 5 over the phone 10/3 and have not received any notification...

I used an update on one of my other lines on the account and still have not received any notification that I even ordered it. The only thing it says is we can no longer update the phone line we ordered it on because we are waiting to receive and activate a new device. I can't even track or know that Verizon put in an order for the account for the iPhone 5. What should I do? Is anybody experiencing this? Should I call? I swear if they didn't put my order in and I get this new 11/2 push back date, I am gonna be really, really, upset.

Did they by chance give you a conformation #. I know i ordered my on the Sept.14th. I had an expected delivery date of Oct. 5th everything was good and got the conformation that my upgrade went through even. I got worried about mine when I knew they had been shipping the phones early and they still by the 3rd had not charged my card. It turned out after my order was confirmed they lost the order, I didn't get the confirmation "EMAIL" after getting my confirmation # online. So i had to reorder my phone on Wed. because they had no record of my order even being placed. It may be a good thing that they atleast show you still have an order in though.

Still not receiving iMessages on my Mac

I am Still not receiving iMessages on my Mac, even after the Moutain Lion 10.8.2 update and iOS6 on my iPhone 4S. Does anyone know how to solve this?
I was under the impression that after the 10.8.2 update and iOS6 and having all of the correct preferences checked new iMessages from someone else would also show up on my Mac and iPad. Can someone please help and advise?

Thanks so much for your reply and attention to this matter! I actually figured out last night that I did not have the right boxes checked within the Preferences of iMessage on my Mac. PROBLEM SOLVED!!!

Not receiving twitter notification sounds in IPhone 5s.

Hello all,
I have bought iPhone 5s recently and downloaded the twitter app. Unfortunately, even after fiddling with all the sound settings, I do not receive the notification sound for twitter either when my tweet is re-tweeted, favourited or when I receive a mention. However, I always duly receive the email notification whenever any of the aforesaid action happens.
A help would be appreciated.

If you're not receiving notifications for a specific app, try these steps:
Verify that the app supports notifications.
After installing an app or restoring a backup to a different iOS device, open the app to begin receiving notifications. If the app requires entering or logging in to an account, you will need to do this before receiving notifications.
Check Settings > Notification Center to ensure that the app is configured for notifications. If notifications do not appear in the Notification Center, verify that the Notification Center setting for the app is enabled.

Safari is still not opening facebook or youtube

Safari 5 is still not opening facebook or youtube on my mac mini 10.5.8 although i've tried everything on here. This is getting very frustrating now. Can anyone help please?

I would go the iTunes store and install the Adobe Mobile Reader app and not the computer application Adobe Reader for Windows.
Of course you may find the Adobe Mobil Reader app is not compatible with the iPad2 and that maybe true for all PDF reading apps through iTunes. Also check to make sure your iPad is compatible to the app.

IMAP account access by itself does not provide for syncing contacts, calendar events, and notes or anything over the air. This is possible with an Exchange account accessed via ActiveSync with the Exchange Server.
If your company email account is an Exchange Account, your company's IT Dept. has enabled IMAP account access for your Exchange account on the Exchange server?
If an Exchange account, the IT Dept. must have ActiveSync enabled for your account on the Exchange Server to create and access the account as an Exchange account which provides Push access for received messages, and over the air syncing for contacts and calendar events with the Exchange Server.

TS4069 all of a sudden i can't get incoming mail. I can send just fine. I deleted my account and then reintalled it; now it only shows emails going back one month and still not receiving new ones.

I cannot receive incoming mail all of a sudden on my I-Pone 4. I deleted my comcast account and then set it up again as suggested. Now it only loaded messages beginning one month ago; and still not receiving any new. Any ideas?

There are only two things that I can suggest.
The first is to try the Mail Setup Assistant.
The other is giving Mozilla's Thunderbird a shot - setup the account and see if it will work with this free email app. I don't like Mail at all - and it gives some people fits around here (I don't know how many times people have posted about problems with outgoing servers using Mail).
Try both methods - I don't use Mail - I use MS's Outlook (and, before that, Entourage). If the Setup Assistant offers no relief, just try Thunderbird and see if it works with it.

First use JPanel not Panel.
Panel panels[]=new Panel[4];becomes
JPanel panels[]=new JPanel[4];Then refactor your code so that you use arrays correctly:
panels=new Panel();
panels.setLayout(new FlowLayout(FlowLayout.LEFT));becomes
panels=new JPanel();
panels[i].setLayout(new FlowLayout(FlowLayout.LEFT));
I did the above changes to your code and it worked fine.

Difficulty deactivating iMessages; 3 weeks later & still not receiving texts from iPhones

I recently switched to Android, and I didn't know to turn off my iMessages before. It's now been three weeks, and I'm still not receiving messages from iPhone. I went online & tried to deauthorize my past apple devices, and STILL no luck.
Any advice? I want to contact Apple, but it's absurdly expensive, apparently, if you don't have an Apple device (seriously? $19?). How long before I should start receiving iMessages if my phone has been deauthorized?

You should be able to contact Apple support to deactivate iMessage at no charge by going to the following link and then click "Other Apple ID Topics" and then "Messages and Apple ID" https://getsupport.apple.com/Issues.action
