Please I am a memeber of the portal team in my office and currently working on a project,
In Error a default log-in page for a portal application was moved or deleted. How do we re-establish log -in processes for this application. Does the log on username and password still exist? Please treat as very urgent.

    The Game Center app is pre installed and cannot be removed from the device.
    Best thing to do is move it to the last available screen.
    Hold down the Game Center app until all the apps jiggle then sliide the Game Center app to the right from one screen to the next. This requires a bit of finesse, but it's doable.
    Press the Home button one time to stop the apps from jiggling.
    For the Apple ID issue, try resetting.
    Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    Then try your Apple ID and password for the Game Center app.

    Hi Experts,
    I have created one Deployable Proxy and based on that i have created Web Based (WAR) project. to consume the proxy i have created Servlet based java file which invokes Web services. Based on this WAR project i created EAR application which deploys on J2EE server.
    I am facing issue while accessing Portal Logged in user in my Servlet Class in WAR project so can  you please provide inputs for how we can access Portal Logged in user in our Servlet class? also how we can access LDAP detailes of portal Logged inuser ?
    I tried to fetch the Logged in user from servlet request but i can't access it giving me null value. Following is the method details that i am using in my servlet.
    protected void doGet(HttpServletRequest request,HttpServletResponse response)throws ServletException, IOException
    IUser user = UMFactory.getAuthenticator().getLoggedInUser();
    String strName = user.getFirstName();
             If I checked in LDAP values First name for logged in user is present but in my code its giving Null value.

  • EP log type INFO not written to the portal.log file

    All the log.info (where log is of type PortalRuntime Logger) statements in my code are not written  to the portal.log file.
    I have configured the portal_logger to log ALL but it seems to log only the FATAL and WARNING messages and not the INFO ones.I am on EP6 SP2
    Thanks
    Sid

    Let me rephrase my question.
    In the portal logs configuration (Sys Adm - Monitoring - Logging Console - portal_logger ) if you select ALL, should it not log messages of all types ( ERROR WARNING INFO )? When I select ALL for the portal_logger the portal.log doesn't display the log messages of type INFO (only the once of type ERROR or WARNING).

  • Still having trouble logging in--are you?

    Hi,
    This question's not as crucial as my other post. Is everyone else still having trouble logging in, and getting that error message.
    I end up clicking on My Questions and eventually journey to the post area.
    If there's an answer, please let me know (and others, maybe, too)
    Thank you.
    Allan the Questioner

    First, I've never asked you to "give me a Solved" because that is a violation of the Terms of Use. Second, I don't recall getting angry with you about anything. I don't even know you. Third, I answered your question. If you think I was rude, then I apologize. Rest assured I'll make no further effort to help you.

  • Portal log viewing

    Hello All,
    How do I search for an exception id that I show when I get a portal runtime error in the portal log viewer? Is there any way I can print the stack trace on the iview instead of getting the standarad portal runtime error screen.
    Thanks

    YOu can look up the exception ID by doing the following.
    1. Navigate to System Administration->Support->Portal Runtime->Log Viewer
    3. Enter the exception id in the Search box and click on search in all files.
    4. It should popup a new window with your error message.
    You can also print out the stack trace  by following code.
    IPortalComponentRequest request = (IPortalComponentRequest) this.getRequest();
    HttpServletResponse res = request.getServletResponse(true);
    ex.printStackTrace(res.getWriter());

  • After checkpoint, I still see a log file over 10M. Is this normal?

    I did "db_checkpoint -1; db_archive -d". After this, I still see a log file with 10M size. Is this normal? I can understand that we need to keep a log file. But the file size is so big. Maybe db will ignore those content in the log file?

    The db_archive utility with -d option is going to remove any log files that are no longer needed at the time the command is executed. At least one log file remains at any time (that is, the one with the highest number).
    The default log file size is 10 MB. If you want to change that, you'll have to configure [lg_max|http://www.oracle.com/technology/documentation/berkeley-db/db/api_reference/C/envset_lg_max.html].

  • Portal logs location ?

    Hi all,
    I`m new to Netweaver and EP 6 and developing a Application for the EP in Java. My iView is working an even my database connection seems to work.
    But my problem is that i have used the Portal Logger from PortalRuntime.getLogger(xxx) and now i`m trying to find my logs.
    I configured the logger to place the logs in logs/app.log with :
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8"?>
    <Server>
      <Logger name="applog" loggerInterface="com.sapportals.portal.prt.logger.ILogger" locationName="app.logger" isActive="true" pattern="%d # %20t %15s %m #">
        <LoggerClass className="com.sapportals.portal.prt.logger.SimpleFileLogger" level="ALL">
          <param filename="logs/app.log" append="false" limit="800000"/>
        </LoggerClass>
      </Logger>
    </Server>
    But where are my logs ? I scanned the whole disc for this log. They are not next to the default.trc (looked via Portal Log Viewer and on my disc).
    Do i have to activate anything for this
    ? I had a look into the other logger configuratiosn from the portal and they are all activated but none of the loggs are shown.
    In the default.trc only my exceptions are shown.
    Best Regards,
    Odo

    Hi,
    Your file destination will have no effect and all the messages will be logged in the [...]/log/defaultTrace.trc file. Once you deploy ur application, a new location is created, with the name "com.sap.portal.app.name." You've got to configure its level (e.g. ALL) using the Log Configurator Service in the J2EE Visual Administrator, otherwise no message will be logged (i.e. the logger is not active by default).
    In your app code, you can use the portal runtime to get the logger. You can then use the logger.
    import com.sapportals.portal.prt.runtime.*;
    import com.sapportals.portal.prt.logger.*;
    pubic class YourClass {
      private static final ILogger logger = PortalRuntime.getLogger("app.name");
      public void aMethod() {
        logger.info("A sample INFO message.");
    Use the LogViewer Service in J2EE Visual Admin to view ur logs.
    hope this helps.

    @HOST Re - Friend Still Banned From Logging In
    Here is the original post  https://discussions.apple.com/message/15520069#15520069
    Eric .W has emailed me and told me that my friend should now be able to log in, I have emailed back saying my friend still cannot log in and have had no reply.
    My friend phoned apple and was told to ask a friend to log in and ask a host.
    Is the account still blocked? he has tried everything that people have suggested even a different computer.
    Thanks

    I have just re-investigated and sent you another email.  Hopefully this will sort it.

  • SQl statement cause extreme Portal log growth

    Our Portal server log file is growing very fast (30 - 50 Mb per minute). When examining the log file we see that the log file does contain only the error messages:
    #1.5#00096BF521750058005A9CA900001E480003E80BD8A2C263#1099562506968#/System/Database/sql/jdbc/common#sap.com/irj#com.sap.sql.jdbc.common.StatementAnalyzerImpl#Guest#18####655e44612e4811d9b41300096bf52175#Thread[ThreadPool-Dispatcher,5,SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_Group]##0#0#Error#1#com.sap.sql.jdbc.common.StatementAnalyzerImpl#Java#com.sap.sql.jdbc.common_1123#com.sap.sql.log.OpenSQLResourceBundle#The SQL statement "" contains the semantics error[s]: #2#SELECT MIN("ID"),"PRIORITY" FROM "KMC_TQ_QUEUE" WHERE "NAMESPACE_HASH" = ? AND "NAMESPACE" = ? AND "TASK_STATE" = 1 GROUP BY "PRIORITY" ORDER BY 2 DESC#type check error: the expression >>"NAMESPACE"<< (LONGVARCHAR) is not comparable and must not be used with "="
    This message occurs more than 500 times per log file. It has something to do with Knowledge management, but we cannot find anything that triggers this sql statement.
    Any ideas?

    SAP tells us in reaction to our customer message:
    "The table's definition is correct. What has to be changed is the
    computed type for field NAMESPACE and the generated file for the table.
    As I wrote before, if you make any change in the field NAMESPACE the
    new computation is started (so change the description which has no
    effect on the table's version on the database). Make the change and
    save the table in the SapNetWeaver Developer Studio. You will then
    see that the field's JDBC-type changes to VARCHAR.
    Choose 'Create archive' for Dictionary Project the table belongs to
    and deploy the sda on the database. Both can be done in the studio."
    Can anyone tell us what to do now?
