Still reboots in games

Ok, i got my new Vantec 520W powersupply today. Its ratings are: 12v-28A. 5v-52A and 3V-26A. when I'm payin games the computer still reboots after a little bit of playing (only not as quick as with my old powersupply, lasts about 5-10mins longer now). My mem voltage is set at 2.7 and my AGP at 1.6.. is there anything else I should try? Vcore perhaps?

If you are running the games while overclocked, then absolutly up your V-CORE !! Go up in small increments while gaming inbetween to see where you can stop ...Keep an eye on your CPU temp. and try to stay below 1.6 Volts ...You can also go up more on your DRAMM voltage...Try 2.75-2.80 Volts..I have also read that the 9800 PRO should have a minimum of 1.7 Volts at the AGP slot!.And if you do not wish to up your Voltages any farther...Then you should back down the performance setting down to "Fast" and set the timings to SPD...And I'll bet that your crashes stop ....Sean REILLY875

As far as I know you can't delete the primary email address for an iCloud account. It's assigned when the account is created. But your neighbor wouldn't have been able to get into your iCloud account without your Apple ID and password. Are you sure the account wasn't still on your phone when you gave it to him?
You could migrate a copy of your data to a new iCloud account but I would still be concerned that someone else was using my old account, which presumably still has your data in it.
I'm fairly certain that you're going to have to have iCloud support help you sort this one out as they may have the ability to make changes to an existing account that users can't. Make an appointment with the genius bar at a nearby Apple store and have them take a look at it. If necessary, they should be able to contact iCloud support for you.

KT4 Ultra FISR Updated Bios Still Reboots

I bought a KT4 Ultra last week. I hooked up everything needed to install my OS (Video and Hard Drive) to install Windows 2000. It took me a while to get a good install because it would crash in the middle of Win2K setup. After reading the posts on the subject I upgraded the Bios to 1.3. I no longer had problems with installing software of transferring large files between CD and HD. Although a bit slow, it worked.
But now I have another problem. The computer reboots when the CPU is being used hard, like running 3D intensive software. For example I have 3D studio rendering and then I try to open Internet explorer and computer will reboot.
I check my PSU by measuring the voltage (with DMM) on the 5 volt line and causing a reboot during CPU intensive activities. I even unplugged an extra HD and ran my FSB at 100 mhz. I did not notice any voltage drop and the computer still rebooted.
I need to decide to if I want to return the MB, before I go out a buy a PSU and find out it did not fix my problem.
Any ideas.

Nero to copy a CD image to hard drive. So I don't think its video card related. I had this video card in my ABIT KT7 with no problems.

What do you expect us (Apple users) to tell you? Especially since you are not telling us which specific MacBook Air you have - as some of the recent ones have TurboBoost.
But even putting that aside, if the game maker takes the time and trouble to tell you a required speed, and you do not meet that speed, then obviously you should expect the game to function less than perfectly. If you are considering a 1.7GHz required game on a machine with 65% of that performance, you should feel lucky if the game runs at all, even with miserable performance.
The game maker took the trouble to lay out the specs. If you don't meet them, expect inferior, if any, performance.

I downlaod the app on my pc via itunes, and the i plug my ipad into the charger, then it auto-sync.
But then i noticed that the game icon appears on my screen. So i clicked it and end up playing it for few hours, eventhough i only downloaded few kb's of the game. I'm still in my confusion. Does it have anything to do with the icloud?

i am using an iPad mini and I had been using my father's iCloud account to purchase apps in app store and now I changed the iCloud account to mine. But the apps still remain purchased in my father's account and not in mine. Now I have to update my apps to use them(I have been using it for over a year) when I click update button they r asking for the passcode of my father's account. So I can't update it. Yes, if you repurchase it you may lose your progress. The exception would be a game that stored all your progress on a server under your ID
If you want to retain your progress you have two choices:
1. Don't apply the update.
2. Use your fathers account password to update the game.

I created new Apple ID and when I use a Game Center game that is associated with it. It tries to launch a game for someone else. Instead of letting me start a new game. And this other person still plays this game and does not want me playing their game.

So the big question here is how on earth do i reset my profiles on Game Center so that I can play my own games. I tried the thing where you swipe and choose remove uninstalled the game no matter what it came back up with the other persons game, instead of letting me start my own game. I even made a new Apple ID and it did it too.

Sounds like you are logged in with this persons ID still. Go to Settings>iCloud does this persons Apple ID appear here? If so select it and Sign-Out. Remember to do the same when you've finished and tell them what you've done so they have no issues.

System reboots after game starts processing 3d

Got a 970gtx gaming 4g a couple of weeks ago and it seemed as though it was fine when running on my old i7 930 and ASRock x58 extreme3 with windows 7 ultimate.
Yesterday I upgraded my motherboard and cpu to an ASRock z97 extreme6 and an i5 4690k and made the move to Windows 8.1 pro. Today I got around to doing a little bit of gaming and after about 20mins the screen went black and system rebooted. There was no dump file and no log in the event viewer beyond a kernel warning. Now whenever I boot up a game it might go through 2d loading screens fine but as soon as there are polygons to process the system is suddenly back on the bios splash screen.
I've pulled the 970 out and tested it with onboard gfx and my old 2gb 560 ti and it is fine. I haven't gotten around to swapping the MB and CPU back yet to test. Is this likely to be an old fashioned hardware incompatibility? Anything else I can do to attempt to get it working?

I know it is only software monitoring, but I noticed that when the 970 is in my 12v rail voltage drops pretty low (seen readings as low as 10.1), but when my other cards are in it stays between 11.7 and 12.2. The next step is to add the pci express power to the MB.

I'm thinking of backing up my ipod and then reseting it, but theres a really interesting game I have been plaing in it for a long time, If I backup my device then reset it then send the backup back to my iPod, will I still have the game data?

If you restore from backup your app date will also be restored to the time you made the backup. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup. If the apps are not in the iTunes library there is not place for the app data to go when you restore from backup.

First of all this is what i use. Windows XP SP2.
P4 3,4 GHz Prescott socket 775 with a Zalman 7700 Cu cooler. Soltek SL-915GPRO-FGR mainboard. Corsair 2x512 DDR Dual Channel memory and MSI GeForce NX6800-TD256E VGA with a AC Silencer 5 cooler. In windows i have no problems but when i start a game it freezed. Sometime almost directly and sometimes it takes a while 1-5 minutes. Games it has happened in yet is Everquest2, Battlefield 1942, Doom3, Counter-Strike. Systems freezes and sometimes after a while it reboots. Since i have good cooling on but CPU and VGA i dont think that the temp is the problem. Tried clocking down my card as i read in other posts but with the same result, it freezes. Using the 71.22 driver MSI has on its homepage. If anyone got any idea what the problem might be please post.

Sounds like you have been struck down by the 6800 "feature" that i have been plauged with.
Try these things to confirm it.
1) Memtest86+ test for RAM
2) Clean driver install (use Detenator RIP or DriverCleaner)
3) Unplug all unneccesary CD drives/HDs.... ie bootup with only C: installed.
4) Underclock to ~400MHz DDR (i.e 2x200MHz)
If the underclock works, you have a dodgy card. A solution to this blackscreen problem has been found, and you have allready fitted a new fan = NO RMA. My card worked at 300MHz core and 520Mhz DDR. Should of been 300*700...

Recently my Ipad was stolen. Find my Ipad gave nothing and I bought the new one. But after some time I found that applications on old Ipad give me clues that my Ipad is still used as it is with no reset done.
What I've got:
Exchange mail - once all my ongoing meetings were cancelled and emails went to trash folder. I accessed the OWA page and found out that old Ipad was synchronized. New owner were getting rid of reminders and emails:) Unfortunatelly our administrators were not able to find the remote IP in Exchange logs.
Game Center ID - I started to play tons of tiny games. Not actually me, my account))) BUT this games were not purchased via App Store.
Chrome application - I started to see alien browsing history in syncronized account. Unfortunatelly Google gives no possibility to resolve IP just after account sync, it should be an access to Gmail... But new owner uses Chrome browser only and does not try to open Gmail. And at the moment the history gives no references who is using the account
So somehow new owner has reset the Apple ID and turned Find my Iphone off. BUT, some application keep accessing their cloud with previous settings.
Are there any means to find the user IP with the mentioned conditions?

What version of iOS are you running? There are known issues with the beta of iOS 7, where the companion app doesn't work, and we're working on a fix for this - in the meantime, you should continue with iOS 6 or earlier.
Other than that, can you verify that Scout works locally (i.e. on content in the browser on the local machine), and also from another remote machine (see the instructions for remote profiling in the getting started guide here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/scout/articles/adobe-scout-getting-started.html). It would be especially useful if you could test with a remote machine over wifi (e.g. a laptop). This would rule out any issues with your network, such as a firewall that's blocking connections.
When you connect using the companion apps, are you typing in the IP address directly, or relying on the app to discover the Scout machine? This discovery uses the Bonjour service, and it's possible this could be being blocked by your network - so I would try typing in the IP address directly, to see if that works.

Yes, if all goes well your game data will be present after the update. For added assurance, manually backup the iPod to both iCloud and iTunes so you can manually restore from backup if you have problems.

Problem Description:
About month ago started blue screening with "Bad_Pool_Caller" when playing Everquest2
Troubleshooting steps taken:
1) Tested Memory (memtest86 latest version as of this posting)
   a) 1 stick tested with around 13 errors in Random test #7
   b) 1 stick tested just fine / no errors
RESULT: Removed bad stick of memory
2) Original PSU was 350W POS
   a) Upgraded to Enermax described above
RESULT: Gaming is slightly more stable
3) Verified airflow and temp was ok
   a) I have 4 Case fans moving air front to back
   b) Cleaned all dust covering case fan openings for maximum airflow
   c) I have a stock CPU heat sync and fan from Intel
   d) I have run 1 week without any case cover to avoid overheating
RESULT: No change, Games still unstable
Current Problem: My computer randomly shuts down when playing very processor / memory / disk intense games.

Jeez, i know just what you mean.
I play...er, try to play World of Warcraft. Every 30 minutes or so, i'd get a game crash and a WoW Error Message. The message read, "memory error" which I later learned from their forums was referred to as "memory dump". I figured Blizzard rushed the game out and left some flaws behind in the process. Then the crashes became more and more frequent until the game finally became pretty much unplayable. i then decided to download Microsoft's Memory tester.
About half of all my passes resulted in an error on the LRAND test. Which is bad. I thought, "crap, i must've gotten bad memory" I tested them both individually and found that i could minimize the errors by putting one memory stick in one slot and the other in another slot. It was passable with crashes every 20 minutes or so. However, recently its been getting worse and is near unplayable.
My Friend brought his PC (a bargain basement eMachine) to my house yesterday and I decided to mem test my Corsair memory on his PC. Sure enough 10 passes, with 0 errors. So I ran the larger memory, the 1024s...again 0 errors. I ran his memory for fun 0 errors. Switched PCs. Ran the mem test on HIS memory in MY pc, 5 errors. My Corsairs in my pc, 3 errors. My 1024 in my pc, 7 errors.
I treat my PC properly, I keep the temeratures in check, keep current drivers, buy the best equipment i can afford on my budget, and when i work on it...I always make sure there is no charge in the power supply left over and I make sure and use my anti-static wristband. The problem, it would seem, is the PT880 just isn't memory friendly.
