Still restarts after instalation WIN7

Hi everyone,
I have problem, I have bought Lenovo IdeaPad G570 without OS. I tried to instal WIN7, everything going fine, but at the end of instalation, notebook wrote "logon process initialization failure" and still restarts. In instalacion I deleted partitions, and format the new one so i havent my backup file. I tried to recover it, but still the same. Could you help me pls.

System get restarted after installation of windows. I would suggest you to kindly check the SATA mode controller in the BIOS mode, change it to IDE or compatible mode. To do so please restart the system and press F2 key continuously, Bios screen will appear.
Also you can check with other operating system.

You have to install Boot Camp drivers. On Mountain Lion, you have to download them.
First, press X key while your Mac is starting to start into OS X. Then, open Boot Camp Assistant and select the option to download the drivers. You will have to burn them into a DVD or USB drive, so after downloading them, restart and install them into Windows

Is the version of Windows 7 Ultimate you have installed 32bit or 64bit?
Open windows Control Panel, open Device Manager and open up Sound, Video and Game Controllers - do you see an existing entry for the IDT High Definition Audio CODEC listed here?
There is an alternative IDT Audio driver you may wish to try on the following link.

HT1338 Can't access my mac os side after installing win7

I just installed windows 7 on my new mac using boot camp. I followed all the steps but after installing win7 there is no way I can access my mac os partition. I tried to reboot with the Alt/option key pressed but I am presented with a window asking me to provide a password. When I enter my password, it won't let me in. It just delete the password. I have re-tried several times but it won't work. My question are:
1. Is there any way I can install windows support software (for the driver) from bootcamp since I cannot access my mac side.
2. I tried to download and install bootcamp but it doesn't work since it says I do not need to install any bootcamp update.
3. Is there any ways I can go past the mac password screen? I really don't understand why it doesn't accept my password. I am the only administrator and user of my computer

MacBook Air won't restart after installing Mavericks

My MacBook Air (v Fall 2011) won't restart after installing Mavericks. I have done the instal several times, done the disk repair, I have had 2 visits to the local Apple store where they installed Mavericks with their software only to return home and have it fail again. Does anyone know of issues with the SSD or memory?
Next visit to the Apple store is Tuesday morning 12-17-13. Anywthing that can help us would be appreciated. Tks David

Mac Pro Mid 2010 keeps restarting after installing OSX Mavericks

Hello,
my Mac Pro Mid 2010 started quitting and restarting after installing the Mavericks OSX. I was thinking about wiping out the drive and reinstalling OS X Mountain Lion but thought I should see if anyone else is experiencing these issues before going that route.
It just intermittently restarts and it tries to restart multiple times before it will actually start up again. It's not issuing a crash report. It just quits out and restarts. It started doing this just at initial startup. It now will quit and restart at any given time and it will take multiple times attempting to start before it actually starts up. I've even had to shut it down because it would going through that startup sequence without starting. No perceivable pattern as to why this is occurring. No specific programs that it occurs in. The only thing I know for certain is that it started happening after installing Mavericks OSX – OSX Mountain Lion was fine. I also made sure to unistall Mountain Lion before installing Mavericks with those potential issues of trying to install one operating system over another. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
Specs for Mac Pro Mid 2010:
- 2 x 2.66 GHz 6-Core Intel Xeon
- 14 GB 1333 MHz DDR3 ECC
- ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024 MB
- OS X 10.9.2

I wasn't sure if you needed this posted as two separate posts or not. If this isn't correct, please let me know and I'll do again. Hopefully I didn't pull too much content for the BOOT_TIME section. I was trying to search for enough diverse content that would clearly represent what might be occurring. It was also challenging to choose content for the BOOT_TIME section though because there was no time-stamped content close to the time of BOOT_TIME time stamp. The last time I restarted my system was hours before I attempted your exercise. And, I haven't experienced "crashing" more than it just automatically restarts in the middle of things. MBP will not shut off or restart after installing lion. I tried installing the latest update but since it will not restart the update will not work.

Everything works except it will not shut down or restart so I can't update it.
I run the Adobe master creative suite collection, Microsoft office and countless other software products without a hitch.
After I click on update software then download the apple update for lion it says I have to restart the computer to finnish the install.

Windows will not restart after install of itunes & quicktime, what to do?

I installed itunes and quicktime from the disc provided. After install the installer asked to restart the computer and I clicked yes. It has not booted since. Windows 2000 Pro locks up about 75% through process. I did hear the speakers activate then nothing. I have attempted a hard boot and restart in safe mode without success. My emergency disk did not work. Where should I go next?

We do need the actual DMP file as it contains the only record of the sequence of events leading up
to the crash, what drivers were loaded, and what was responsible.
You may be able to get the DMP files without crashing by booting into safe mode (F8) with networking.
If you are overclocking stop. (chances are if you dont know if you are, you are not)a
To enable us to assist you with your computer's BSOD symptoms, upload the contents of your "\Windows\Minidump" folder.
The procedure:
* Copy the contents of \Windows\Minidump to another (temporary) location somewhere on your machine.
* Zip up the copy.
* Attach the ZIP archive to your post using the "paperclip" (file attachments) button. (if available on your site, MS doesnt have this)
*Please upload them to a file sharing service like Skydrive or"Rapidshare" and put a link to them in your reply.

* Under the Write Debugging Information header select Small memory dump (256 kB) in the dropdown box (the 256kb varies).
* Ensure that the Small Dump Directory is listed as %systemroot%\Minidump.
* OK your way out.
* Reboot if changes have been made.
Please also run MSinfo32 and upload the output as well.
To run MSinfo32 please go to start>run>MSinfo32
Go to "file" "save" and upload the saved file with the DMPS

Must restart after installing firefox and kde...WHY????

Every time I set up an arch box, when I install firefox or kde (probably others) I must restart the computer before I can even execute them. This is mighty inconvenient and un-linux-like, I noticed that during the bootup, the Updating Shared Library Links takes a little longer after installing firefox or kde, is there a command I can run that does this after installing firefox or kde that dosen't require me to restart?

I wish pacman or the .install files would check to see if /opt/foo, the path that the package was just installed to, is in $PATH and automatically source /etc/profile if it's not. I'm pretty sure most do - however, that only sources it for root, not the user running - I have no idea, off the top of my head, if this works correctly under sudo.
However, the important part is that your WM/DE is running under a totally different environment setup, and the 'export' stuff does not reach it.
I can't really think of a good way to get around it - I know it's rather irritating to some people. I wonder if adding something like "/opt/*/bin" to the PATH by default would work... I don't think it globs properly though...

IMac won't restart after installing OS X 10.6

All I get after installing Mac OSX 10.6 Lion, is a spinning wheel of death. What is going on that it won't restart properly?

Nevermind, I have found a work around. Have to start in "safe mode" then the Setup Assistant will launch properly and the Software Update also works properly.
On to Lion & 10.8!

Won't restart after installing updates

Hi everyone,
I downloaded the 10.5.2 upgrade through the software updater, and my computer crashed during installation.
When I tried to restart it, it got stuck on the grey apple logo screen, with the progress cycle spinning. It stays stuck like this for an hour.
I tried safe mode restart then (with the shift key help down), and that didn't help anything. Is there anything else I can try?

I have had the same problem after installing the update. The system hang at this position with all fans running for which I have shut down the computer each time but with the same outcome after new booting. Lastly, I booted holding the C key and this worked. Might be a coincidence, worth a try.

Mac stuck restarting after installing Yosemite

My 2011 MBP has been stuck "restarting" for about an hour now after installing Yosemite. The striped loading bar is grey and stationary but the charcoal circle is spinning underneath. Any suggestions? Do I leave it run overnight and call support in the morning? Thankfully this happened after Midterms, but I'm afraid I'll lose everything if I turn it off. (I decided to upgrade on a whim...I know...and the last backup is from the beginning of the summer. :/ )

Same thing happened to me - except, of course, that I made a back-up before installing Yosemite. I could not get my machine to boot - it would get stuck exactly the same way as yours. I tried for hours - and nothing...
I finally wiped my HD and used time machine to install my latest back-up. Without such a back-up, I don't know what options you have. Your best bet is probably this:
Gray, Blue or White screen at boot, w/spinner/progress bar
