Could be many things, we should start with this...
"Try Disk Utility
1. Insert the Mac OS X Install disc, then restart the computer while holding the C key.
2. When your computer finishes starting up from the disc, choose Disk Utility from the Installer menu at top of the screen. (In Mac OS X 10.4 or later, you must select your language first.)
*Important: Do not click Continue in the first screen of the Installer. If you do, you must restart from the disc again to access Disk Utility.*
3. Click the First Aid tab.
4. Select your Mac OS X volume.
5. Click Repair Disk, (not Repair Permissions). Disk Utility checks and repairs the disk."

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)
If perchance you can't find your install Disc, at least try it from the Safe Boot part onward.
Open Console in Applications>Utilities & see if there are any clues or repeating messages when trying to open CS2.

I have recently updated my OS from Leopard to Snow Leopard but now my external hard drive and even my iPhone are not recognized by my Macbook Pro! Anyone have a suggestion??
Zap the PRAM and Reset the SMC, then try again. If the problem remains, update to 10.6.8 and repeat.

Hello I just found a problem with my Ipod nano 6th generation. It worked fine an hour ago but then the screen turned a dark grey. Did the restore through Itunes and then it went white. But now it's totally unresponsive and seems to be off even when it is plugged into itunes. Can't even restore it. I get Error 1415?

Adobe Air on Mac: "Something Went Wrong Trying to Install This Application" Error
I have been reading several posts on this, but nowhere can I find a solution. Within the past few weeks, I receive this error any time I try to install a new AIR application:
"Something Went Wrong Trying to Install This Application. Please install the latest version of AIR from.."
Then it gives me the download link. I've tried reinstalling, but that doesn't fixt the issue. I'm using OS X 10.6.3- is there ANY way to solve this?Hi Jason. Can you post your install log here so we can take a look at what the problem may be? To see the install log, Open "Console" to view logging. Then copy and paste the log here.
In the meantime, try to uninstall AIR before reinstalling AIR to see if that fixes the problem.

When I try to open an episode in Photoshop CS5 Feature Tour () http://tv.adobe.com/watch/photoshop-cs5-feature-tour/terry-whites-favorite-things-about-cs 5-design-premium/) an AIR error message pops up saying:
Something went wrong trying to install this application. Please install the latest version of Adobe AIR from http://www.adobe.com/go/getair and then try again.
I have downloaded the program from that site, uninstalled AIR and reinstalled the downloaded version to no avail. It just keeps popping up. I click OK on the pop-up error message and the video plays just fine. But it is an annoying pop-up that just won't go away.
What gives.

I have an IAMc 4.1 with intel core duo. Upgraded from tiger to snow leopard but cannot get safari to run in 64 bit. Is this because my older IMac won't support 64 bit?

the Intel Core Duo processor is a 32-bit only processor and not capable of 64-bit.
Only the Core 2 Duo and later processors are capable of 64-bit.

Please can someone tell me why I cannot reinstall my upgrade from lightroom 4 (lightroom 3 installed off disc with serial no) my hard drive crashed, and I am trying to get lightroom 3; 4 and 5 back on so that I can link my catalogues and continue work. I cannot install lightroom 5 until the upgrades from 4 are on the pc, (lightroom 3 installed off disc but 4 is a copy of the upgrade download I got when I bought it) These serial no's are legit and are registered under my account with adobe, but it still gives me the Big Red Cross when I put my serial no in! You don't need to have Lightroom 3 and 4 installed on your computer to install Lightroom 5. Just install Lightroom 5 and input your serial number for 3 in the previous version box and your serial number for 5 in the upgrade box. -
Hi. I am trying to use Bridge to make web galleries. There used to be something on PS for that but now I cant find it in PS so I was advised to use Bridge. However, there is something called Output Module (AOM) that is missing from my Bridge. I downloaded this. The instructions say :Copy the Adobe Output Module folder (not the AOM_Package_[OS] folder) into the Bridge CC Extensions folder in the appropriate location:
Windows: C:\Program Files\Common Files\Adobe\Bridge CC Extensions
Mac OS: /Library/Application Support/Adobe/Bridge CC Extensions. However there is noplace on my Macbook Air running Yosemetie that has this /Library/Applications SUpport/Bridge CC Extensions. Can anyone advise?That file could be set as a Launch Agent or Daemon in your ~/Library or /Library, You could try to look for it or Safeboot your computer and then empty the trash.
