Still the same problem with Live update 2

I still have the same problem with Live update 2.
I've downloaded newer Bios update but it's 13 MB... it's obvious that I can not have
in floppy disk and I'm a little bit uncomfortable of updating bios from CD-rom .
But what else can I do, besides updating Bios to get out of this Live update from start-up.
Should I clear CMOS?

I updated to OS X 10.5.4 on a latest generation 24" iMac with Adobe CS3 on it. This is the only Mac with 10.5 installed in a publishing company with 10 Macs, all with Adobe CS3 and all working always with files on the same file server. The other 9 Macs have OS X 10.4 installed.
The iMac with 10.5 had massive problems with CS3 files since OS X 10.5.2 - frequently existing Photoshop files disappeared from the server after the "Save" command, frequently "Save As" was not possible in Photoshop, sometimes Indesign crashed when files were getting saved on the server - none of this is happening on the other Macs with OS X 10.4.
On the first couple of days with 10.5.4 at least in Photoshop exactly the same problems: Existing files disappear from the server after the "Save" command, "Save As" is often times not possible.
It's a shame!

Why don't you try updating with the larger installer, the combo updater. The combo updater is generally more helpful when troubleshooting a problem.

Hello, Several months ago I called for help with the error fault that continiusly happens while working with my notebook. You asked to give you the serial number and things like that. I ve had a busy life and didnt work much on my notebook. Now I am working with it every day and the problems still are existing. Mixed colours and text on the screen, audio that make a terrible noise and the notebook that crashes and gives a bleu screen. I hope in a while the whole problem will be solved! I can give you the information you wanted from me: Hp Pavillion 17 notebook pc 17-f255 nb s/n 5CD4504WBK p/n L4F90EA#UUG And the information that is showed on the bleu screen when notebook crashes is:SYSTEM_THREAD_NOT_HANDLED (atikmdag.sys) Hopefully you have THE solution! Because I want to use a good working notebook! I ve paid 600euro's and its a big name hp so I didn't expect to have this terrible problems! When their is no definetly solution I logically ask for a new one! Whole this case gives me bad feeling, hopefully you can make me happy again and I can work peacefully with my hp!

Disappointed, still the same problem with ITunes 7.1

Finally an Itunes update, I galloped to install it and see whether they'd fixed my problem. Alas no...
As i said back then:
Itunes 7.0.2 has not fixed the problem whereby I connect my Ipod and add some music, after which it starts to 'determine gapless playback info', and freezes shortly afterwards. If I catch it quick I can hit the grey x, otherwise I have to disconnect the Ipod to regain any control over Itunes.
My Itunes library is stored on a 250GB Lacie Minimax HD (USB2). Since my Ipod can't handle gapless playback anyway, why is it trying to determine it?

Your advice did not help me. I also installed 10.7.4 combo but the situation is the same.
my internet connection is ok, mail is ok, but app store after 3 resets does not recognize my ID and it says "connection is not possible". Why? The iPhone is DESIGNED to switch to cellular data when asleep, unless it's connected to a power source, in which case it will stay logged onto the WiFi network. iPhones have ALWAYS behaved this way.
Either turn cellular data off at night, or leave your phone connected to a power source to continue the WiFI.

Because I know enough to be dangerous... I was trying to extend the two outside columns down.... Instead of just using faux columns which I have fixed since I posted the question.
The other link problem is the left sidebar links. When you go to the event photos page I have a repeat of the sidebar links that are on the newsletter page. I used named anchors on the newsletter page to link to the particular article. From the Event Photos page the links look like this:

The problem I am having is that some of these go to the newsletter page and the anchor and some do not (I get an error message saying it can't find the page). To add to the problem is that when we choose say the President's Message, when it goes to the newsletter page and the correct anchor, the newsletter page is missing all the links to the graphics... the photos are missing the graphic for the faux columns is missing. It makes no sense. When I preview the newsletter page from Dreamweaver everything shows up fine.
I do not know if all of this is being caused because I haven't posted this stuff to the site or what. I've tried re-booting both the browser and Dreamweaver, dumping the cache and still the same nonsense.
Got any ideas?

After all you've tried, Dah*veed is probably right about needing warranty assistance.
But first check to be sure Settings-Airplane Mode is set to OFF, and Settings-WiFi-WiFi is set to ON.
Try unplugging your WiFi router for a few seconds. Then reset the iPad's network. Go to Settings-General-Reset-Reset Network Settings. You will need to reconnect to your WiFi.

Tried to reset network settings ...only fixes it for 15min. Did a firmware restore and a clean new phone setup. no settings restore. still have network service after around 60min. still running 6.1. i do get a prompt that i have to update settings to LTE. Have not excepted the settings as yet. Cellular data is still set to 3G....

When Firefox crashes, it usually records information about what was happening at that moment and displays the Mozilla Crash Reporter. Are you seeing that, or is Firefox just freezing and you're killing it?
Assuming you have crashes, you can submit that data to Mozilla and share it with forum volunteers to see whether it points to the solution. Please check the support article "[[Firefox Crashes]]" (especially the last section) for steps to get those crash report IDs, and then post some of the recent ones here.
If that's not possible, have you tried Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to deactivate extensions and some advanced features of Firefox. More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode using either:
* "3-bar" menu button > "?" button > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
* Help menu > Restart with Add-ons Disabled
Not all add-ons are disabled: Flash and other plugins still run
After Firefox shuts down, a small dialog should appear. Click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).

I have my mac on 'Highest Performance' and it is set never to sleep.. If I leave it and dont touch it for about 5 to 10 minuets, when I come back to it and move the mouse to do something, it shows me the beach ball for a while and I can hear the macs hard drive firing up.. Is this normal.. I had the same problem with the last G5 Quad I had also..

I think you are on it. You could try disconnecting the external devices and see if that mitigates the problem. I am not familiar with the specific hardware associated with your device, but it might be that it must do some checks when it wakes from some dormant state, and that might cause the beachball.
Does that device have hard drives? Maybe it waits for those to spin up. My MOTU device has no hard drives but does cause weird things to occur if I leave it plugged in and on while doing other than audio work.
If you haven't already check the manufacturer's website to see if there are any updated drivers and/or notes regarding this specific problem.
If you have the problem with all firewire and USB devices except the keyboard and mouse plugged in that would point towards a specific device and/or bus.
