Still waiting on Game Center confirmation email, anyone else?

I updated to 4.1 two minutes after it came out, and instantly went on Game Center and filled in all my details etc, and I'm STILL waiting for my confirmation email to come through!!
I've retried sending it 10 times already and I still don't receive anything,
Anyone else having this problem?

I did the same and have been sending the verification emails again and again but still haven't received anything. I also have a few of the games installed but nothing shows in my game centre app - i'm confused!

    As far as I know you can't delete the primary email address for an iCloud account.  It's assigned when the account is created.  But your neighbor wouldn't have been able to get into your iCloud account without your Apple ID and password.  Are you sure the account wasn't still on your phone when you gave it to him?
    You could migrate a copy of your data to a new iCloud account but I would still be concerned that someone else was using my old account, which presumably still has your data in it.
    I'm fairly certain that you're going to have to have iCloud support help you sort this one out as they may have the ability to make changes to an existing account that users can't.  Make an appointment with the genius bar at a nearby Apple store and have them take a look at it.  If necessary, they should be able to contact iCloud support for you.

  • Stolen Ipad still visible via Game Center though IP not visible...

    Dear Consumers and Apple Team!
    Recently my Ipad was stolen. Find my Ipad gave nothing and I bought the new one. But after some time I found that applications on old Ipad give me clues that my Ipad is still used as it is with no reset done.
    What I've got:
    Exchange mail - once all my ongoing meetings were cancelled and emails went to trash folder. I accessed the OWA page and found out that old Ipad was synchronized. New owner were getting rid of reminders and emails:) Unfortunatelly our administrators were not able to find the remote IP in Exchange logs.
    Game Center ID - I started to play tons of tiny games. Not actually me, my account))) BUT this games were not purchased via App Store.
    Chrome application - I started to see alien browsing history in syncronized account. Unfortunatelly Google gives no possibility to resolve IP just after account sync, it should be an access to Gmail... But new owner uses Chrome browser only and does not try to open Gmail. And at the moment the history gives no references who is using the account
    So somehow new owner has reset the Apple ID and turned Find my Iphone off. BUT, some application keep accessing their cloud with previous settings.
    Are there any means to find the user IP with the mentioned conditions?

    What version of iOS are you running? There are known issues with the beta of iOS 7, where the companion app doesn't work, and we're working on a fix for this - in the meantime, you should continue with iOS 6 or earlier.
    Other than that, can you verify that Scout works locally (i.e. on content in the browser on the local machine), and also from another remote machine (see the instructions for remote profiling in the getting started guide here: http://www.adobe.com/devnet/scout/articles/adobe-scout-getting-started.html). It would be especially useful if you could test with a remote machine over wifi (e.g. a laptop). This would rule out any issues with your network, such as a firewall that's blocking connections.
    When you connect using the companion apps, are you typing in the IP address directly, or relying on the app to discover the Scout machine? This discovery uses the Bonjour service, and it's possible this could be being blocked by your network - so I would try typing in the IP address directly, to see if that works.

  • Still haven't received order confirmation email

    I ordered my iPhone at about 1 am last night. I can use the order confirmation # they gave me at checkout to check my status, but my checking account hasn't been charged yet, and I haven't received a confirmation email yet (it said I would within two hours due to traffic). When will I receive this email and if the order tracking page says expecte ship date: 10/28, does that mean I will get it on the 28th?

  • OK I have a question about "game center" Is it possible to log into the game center with a different apple ID, just within the game center and not anywhere else in the phone?

    I have 2 Iphones, 1 is a personal phone and the other is a work phone, i will be using my work phone only right away, I have an appointed Apple ID on my work phone and i want to transfer my Clash of clans Village with out having to attach my other apple ID to the phone? So basically can my Game center have 1 Apple ID and my phone use another? Hopefully that makes sense.

    I have not been able to get onto itunes to check my account or purchase anything for about a year now.  Got an Alienware system with latest Windows.  When I pull up itunes I can access my old music but cannot access my account to purchase anything new.  Just reinstalled itunes and it still does not work.  I am ready to just quit.  Anyone else having this issue?  Solutions?

    If this is an Alienware system, the most likely culprit is the Bigfoot Networks LSP as per the following document:
    Apple software on Windows: May see performance issues and blank iTunes Store
    Head to the Downloads and Drivers page at Dell for your particular model of Alienware. Look for available updates for your BigFoot networking device. If you update those drivers, does that give you back your Store access?

    You have 14 days from the date of purchase to return your MBP.  Personally, I would not waste my time "troubleshooting" if the normal solutions do not work.
    Return the MBP for one that works before your 14 days are up and/or call AppleCare ASAP!!!

  • I requested for my iPhone 4 to be unlocked nearly 3 weeks ago and I still haven't recieved a confirmation email to say it has been successful

    My boyfriend upgraded to an iPhone 5 recently and decided to give me his old iPhone 4, but i'm on Vodafone and his iPhone is locked to Orange.
    So he rang up Orange to request an unlock which cost £20 and the guy said it could take upto 28days (which seems a long time to unlock a phone) The guy at Orange said the reason for this is that the unlock has to be done by Apple (which makes sense) and so my iphone would go on a list and once it reaches the top of that list it will be done - (is this true?)
    It's been 3 weeks and my boyfriend still hasn't recieved an email to say the unlock has been successful.
    I'm starting to get impatient as I didn't think it would actually take the full 4 weeks to process(i know it hasn't been 28 days yet...) - but it's looking like it will take that long at this rate... if it gets unlocked at all!
    I would also like to know if my iPhone 4 has been jailbroken in the past - will this prevent the phone being unlocked by apple?
    Any help or advice would be great

    Sorry, but there is nothing constructive or helpful anyone here can offer. Apple does not take 28 days to process a request once the authorization is received from the carrier - and Apple cannot help.  This is completely to up the carrier, so your boyfriend will have to keep bugging Orange until they process the unlock. Orange can indeed take 30 days or even longer to finally process an unlock request.
    And yes, if the iPhone has been jailbroken, it quite possibly cannot ever be officially unlocked. You'll just have to try it, once Orange finally processes the unlock, and hope.

    Reset it by holding the power and home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, then release.

    I spoke to a verizon representative today, and they sent me a text with order number and confirmation number, and Deliver by 09/21/12. Call them on monday. We spoke for about 5 min, I think  they spoke longer than they should have. They are very tired from taking so many orders. . As long as you have your order # and conformation #. It has to say 9/21/12. They also know when you put the order in by your verizon #. If it says 9/21/12 you beat the rush hour, those were the exact words. They stated you will receive an email, and tracking number when it ships next week. I hope this helps everone.

    Thank you for providing the details of the issue you are experiencing with your Apple ID.  I would be concerned about this too, and I have a couple of suggestions for the issue you are experiencing with your account.
    It sounds like you are not getting the email to reset your password.  If you have a rescue email setup for your Apple ID, the reset password email will be sent there and not your Apple ID email address:
    When you provide a rescue email address, all future security emails, such as password resets from iForgot, will be sent to the address provided.

  • Charged but no confirmation email?

    I'm wondering why there is an authorization hold on my online bank information when I haven't even gotten a confirmation email for my order yet. I ordered early last week and it's been almost a week now, but I still haven't received a confirmation email although my account has been charged. Does this mean that my computer has already shipped out, or is this something that Lenovo does to check if you have enough money in your account? I need the computer really quickly, and I can't really afford to wait. I just might cancel the order if it takes any longer to get my confirmation email.
