STM1 Back-to-Back Between ASR 9006 and ASR 903

Dear Gents,
Seeking your usual support to aid me to connect STM1 Back-to-Back between ASR 9006 and ASR 903.
I have ASR 9006 comes with SPA-4XOC3-POS-V2 and SFP-OC3-MM using XR-A9K-PXK9-04.03 IOS-XR.
Also I have ASR 903 comes with A900-IMA4OS interface module with ONS-SI-155-SR-MM SFP using SASR903R1NPEK9-38S IOS-XE.
I'm using Multi Mode fiber cable between them and the interfaces never came UP UP.
Below the configuration i did to both sides.
ASR 903 configuration:
ASR903#sh run | sec contro
controller SONET 0/0/0
 framing sdh
 clock source internal
 aug mapping au-4
 au-4 1 pos
interfaces POS0/0/0.1
ip address 10.10.10.2 255.255.255.252
ASR 9006 configuration
ASR9006#sh running-config controller soNET 0/1/0/0
controller SONET0/1/0/0
 framing sdh
 clock source internal
interface POS0/1/0/0
 ipv4 address 10.10.10.1 255.255.255.252
Thanks in advance.

I think your 900 is running in an oc12/stm4 mode (as you seem to subrate the sonet controller), so they have a speed mismatch already although it looks like you're using the right STM1 optic.
also one side you will want to have use clock from line while the other internal, otherwise you'll get a lot of clock slips.
cheers

  • Can I go back n forth between FCE HD and iMovie?

Hey all, I'm new to FCE HD and I love love love it. But I still need to use some of my iMovie crutches while getting up to speed. I recently shot a wedding in HDV and pulled all the clips together in FCE HD. Can I move the clips to quicktime and then load them into iMovie HD to do additional effects WITHOUT loosing my high def quality? I'm not so concerned about the audio "becoming one with" the video...

I'n no HiDefer , but using the 'Apple Intermediate Codec', which is internally in use for handling HiDef-imports in both apps, should keep the quality lossless ..-

  • What is difference between Managed Bean and Backing Bean?

What is difference between Managed Bean and Backing Bean? Please guide me how to create them and when to use them?
Please post sample for both beans.

    Hi,
managed beans and backing beans are quite the same in that the Java object is managed by the JavaServer Faces framework. Manage in this respect means instantiation. The difference is that backing beans contain component "binding" references, which managed beans usually don't. Do backing beans are page specific versions of managed beans.
Managed beans are configured either in the faces-config.xml file, or using ADF Faces and ADFc, in the adfc-config.xml file

  • Can you move files back and forth between an iPad and a PC using iTunes?

If I read this article correctly, http://support.apple.com/kb/ht4094 I should be able to connect my iPad to my PC, fire up iTunes and then on the Apps tab in iTunes I should be able to click on an app, Pages for example and then just drag files onto the Pages Documents column from a Windows Explorer window.
This is great.  I was hoping to use DropBox but it is such a hassle I don't know why people are so thrilled with DropBox on iPad.  If I can just move files back and forth using iTunes that should be fairly easy.  I wish there was a way to just upload my files to iCloud from my PC but the iCloud control panel app for Windows only seems to connect Outlook, Photostream and Bookmarks. I want to be able to just carry my iPad and not have to deal with a computer.
I thought that they said that you didn't need to have a computer to have an iPad.  I guess if you have a computer and then GET an iPad its a different story, unless you have a Mac of course.
Anyway my question is: can you move files back and forth between a PC and an iPad using just iTunes?

I still need to do some trial and error testing with DropBox and my iPad.  But can I link my iPad to my DropBox account so that I can always see the files on DropBox when I open Pages on my iPad?  I just want one place to store my documents, and iCloud doesn't seem to be up to the task when it comes to opening a fil;e, editing it and then saving it back to iCloud.  I just want a networked storage location that works like a networked drive on my LAN.
I realize that hollywood and the music industry are up in arms about file sharing on the Cloud which is why so many things are made more difficult than they need to be.

  • Color Consistency between Hardbacked book and soft backed book

I developed, uploaded and received several hard backed books (8.5 x 11) via Aperture 2 and was very impressed with the results. Later, I decided to use the same files to print some additional soft backed books of the same seize and I was really disappointed at the color reproduction on those. No changes to the files between the two orders.
    Earl

    Kenneth,
this is hardly an observable difference:
"RGB 243/203/70 in his original,RGB 243/203/71 in mine"
Downsampling should be switched off (instead of placing
by size 100% and using the old ppi value, that's just an
    unnecessary complication).
The text by PhS was probably part of the raster image.
In such a case avoid any JPEG compression (e-book),
because this will change almost all colors just a little
even in large areas. Raster text will be garbled (your
    observation).
"No Color Conversion and under Profile Inclusion Policy
    I set Don't Include Profiles"
This is IMO correct for a reproduction, whatever
ingredients might be in the original page or in the PDF.
The only remaining sources for a color shift - visible
by comparing the two versions under the same test con-
ditions - are downsampling and JPEG compression, IMO.
Note: the question is not whether the two versions are
correct, but whether they are identical.
    Best regards --Gernot Hoffmann

  • HT1386 I sync all songs, photos and videos between my computer and iPod classic with no problems, but when I get to sync info I get this message: "iTunes cannot sync Calendar and contacts to iPod. Try logging out of Windows adn then logging back in".

I sync all songs, photos and videos between my computer and iPod classic with no problems, but when I get to sync info I get this message: "iTunes cannot sync Calendar and contacts to iPod. Try logging out of Windows adn then logging back in".  Could you please help?

Correct. When you update via iTunes all synced media that is not in your iTunes library will be lost.
    As IO said before:
You can redownload most iTunes pruchases by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
I do not think it included audio books.

I have an iPhone 5, yesterday it wasn't receiving any signal. I reset it and when it cam back on it said plug into iTunes, i did that but now it comes up with error 9006 and 39. What do i do, i have tried different wires, and different plug in holes, I've left it for the night and tired again this morning.

Error code 9006 is related to the computer's security software settings, 39 is not listed inResolve iOS update and restore errors try turning the security/anti-virus software off if you are using something like that.  Then you may need to restore via the recovery mode since that is what the graphic of a USB wire connecting to iTunes means, it has already entered recovery mode...see http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1808 for instructions on recovery mode restoring.

My bank (Chase) and my wife's payroll provider (ADP) say I can no longer pull our statements because of incompatibilities between Adobe Reader and Safari. The Apple site says it is not responsible for for 3rd party software. Adobe says go back to Safari 5.0. Apple dosen't let me download Safari 5.0; so what do I do. The bank had me download Chrome, and I can now download my statements. but what a pain. Any suggestios?

    Back up all data.
Quit Safari. In the Finder, select Go ▹ Go to Folder... from the menu bar, or press the key combination shift-command-G. Copy the line of text below into the box that opens, and press return:
    /Library/Internet Plug-ins
From the folder that opens, remove any items that have the letters “PDF” in the name. You may be prompted for your login password. Then launch Safari and test.
If you still have the issue, repeat with this line:
    ~/Library/Internet Plug-ins
If you don’t like the results of this procedure, restore the items from the backup you made before you started. Relaunch Safari again.

I recently had to send my old iPhone back and get a new one. When I did, I simply did a restore and backup with my computer. When I did that, my iMessage between my iPhone and iPad are no longer synced. No matter how many times I went to settings, messages and adjusted it, my iPad and iPhone recognize when I send a message out but not when I received a message from another IMessage user to my iPhone. My iPad simply doesn't get those messages. HELP!!!!

If it's corrupt, generally it would be lost.
However, there is third-party software out there that can retrieve some of the data, those of which however I could not recommend as I have never done so myself.
Also, if the old 4S was running a more recent software version than the current 4S, that may cause the issue however usually iTunes tells you exactly that.
Good luck in retrieving that information.

  • HT1766 what's the difference between the icloud and itunes when installing back up

what's the difference between the Icloud and Itunes when installing back up???

Backing up using iTunes stores your backup locally on your computer. Using iCloud stores your backup on Apple's servers. If you never backup your computer(bad idea), iCloud would be a better choice. Read more here:
