STMS Import Queue Problem

Hi All,
I need to import an externall request in to my environment.
The problem occur when I following steps:
1) Logon in Dev environment
2) Trx. STMS
3) Import Overview
4) Select Dev Queue
5) Extras->Other Requests->Add
The Add option Menu is disable.
How can I able the Add option menu, please ?
In another hand(Quality and Production)  the Add option Menu is able.
Thanks
Regards
Marcos Magalhães

Hi All,
The problem was solved with the following way:
The requests in DEV queue without target client(with red collor) were removed.
After that I updated the dev queue and menu worked fine.
Thanks
everybody!!!

  • STMS - Import Queue not updating

    Hi,
I'm hoping for a little guidance to track down a problem.
We have a simple 3 system configuration (DEV > QAS > PROD) and we're currently about 2 months away from going live with the Production box.
However, the STMS import queue for Production hasn't updated since 13/09. It's status is "Data obsolete or missing".
Being a bit of a novice, I'm not sure where to start to try track down why, after 12 months, this queue has stopped updating.
    Any help would be appreciated.
    Thanks

If the queue is not been updated the most likely scenario is that it can't read the trasnport directory or the STMS config is not maintained properly... what happen when you try to refresh the queue?... any errors?, Check the system status in the domain controller if theres an issue try to redistribute.
    Regards
    Juan

  • STMS import queue

    HI all,
Think some body deleted TR request (or something happend in the import queue) from the import queue, from that day onwards there was no transports are going on from development to quality systems. is there any chance to rebuild import queues, it was a problem in STMS imports.
    pls help me.
    cheers,

Did you refresh the list with refresh button?
If yes, check release log of that particular transport.
    Hope it helps.

  • Refreshing STMS import queue

    Hi All,
I want to know if there is a way (program) that i can use to refresh the import queue in STMS automatically even when the import queue screen is not open. I am experiencing some intresting scenario and i am not sure if its normal. please let me know:
    - I have recently added Sandbox system in the already existed TMS landscape. Domain links are used since Sandbox and DEV are in different network. When i release the transport in DEV its supposed to go to QAS import queue and also to Sandbox import queue in parallel. I can see them in QAS queue automatically without refreshing it, however it does not go to the Sandbox queue even after I refresh the import queue of Sanbox system (from Sandbox System). The only way It goes to the Sandbox import queue in Sandbox Queue is when I  go the the Import Queue of Sandbox system in DEV system and Refresh it there. Is there normal? After I refresh import queue for Sandbox in DEV , i go to the Sandbox system and click on sandbox queue then refresh it there and it comes right through. I understand the concept of adujst the transport files by clicking the green arrow since they dont share same Central Trans Dir and i am also aware of the SAP report to perform this automatically.
-My question is, Why do is it required to refresh the import queue for Sandbox system "in DEV system" ? and is there any Report/Program that i can schedule in the Background in DEV that refreshes all import queues for all systems there even when the import screen is not open?
    please suggest. thanks.

I will put your question in more clear way!!
You are  not able to view the transport in SANDBOX STMS(Auto refersh is active)  untill you refresh from DEV STMS ...Is  this ?? I dont think it should happen you are accesing the same screen from DEV or SANDBOX.
Just try what i have mentioned above
    1) In sandbox select personal setting and do as per firt post
    2) Release any request in DEV (Dont open STMS in DEV system )
    3) Check if transport is available in SANDBOX STMS(Login to SANDBOX only)
    Paste here the observations....

  • Setting Target Client in STMS- Import Queue

After restoring Db,we has some issues in Transport Routes so deleted and added the child system to Transport Domain Controller.
After adding the system, if we go to STMS->Import Overview-> QAS ( system queue name )-> here it asking to set the target client.
My issue is..when i click on " Set Target Client", it is ready to import all the transports...
Can i exclude importing all the transports and set the target client ?
    Thank you

    Hi NIA,
As mentioned by Sunny, you just have to add the NEW QAS system in the Domain.
Go to transport routes and then from "Configuration"-> "Adjust with Controller".
This will adjust the system with the Domain Controller.

would anyone help me with this matter?

  • Need to delete the SPAM requests from the import queue

    Dear all,
There were some issues with my QA system SAP patch application and we were forced to do a DB refresh from our production system. Now our QA system ABAP stack is having an issue with the  STMS import queue which shows 4 old patches(witch were applied to the system before the refresh)  with u201Crequest will not be importedu201D status. When I try to delete these requests from the import queue it shows the following error
u201CThis is tp version 372.04.29 (release 700, unicode enabled)
ERROR: Client 'ALL' is not possible.
    tp returncode summary:
TOOLS: Highest return code of single steps was: 0
ERRORS: Highest tp internal error was: 0246
standard output from tp and from tools called by tpu201D
When I try to import a new support package it gives the  following error,
    Error in phase: CHECK_REQUIREMENTS
    Reason for error: QUEUE_NOT_EMPTY
Not sure how these requests arew still in the import queue even after the DB refresh. How can I delete these 4 old requests from the import queue?
The System is ECC6.0 ABAP+JAVA stack with Oracle 10g on Win2003 server.
    Thank you,
    Siju Sam

    Dear Ganesh,
I have tried the steps you suggested, but still the import queue is not cleared.
Now I just wanted to remove these entires from the STMS=>queue=>import queue list.
Number   Request      Clt   Owner          Short Text
1   SAPKB70013   ALL   SAPUSER        Basis Support Package 13 for 7.00
2   SAPKA70013   ALL   SAPUSER        ABA Support Package 13 for 7.00
3   SAPKB70014   ALL   SAPUSER        Basis Support Package 14 for 7.00
4   SAPKA70014   ALL   SAPUSER        ABA Support Package 14 for 7.00
I think these requests(Patches) are not there in the tp buffer/(import queue) but somehow some table entries shows the status that they are still in the  queue. So I just wanted to reset the status that These TPs are already applied.
    Thank you,
    Siju Sam

    Hi Danny,
Can u just clear us is the is the problem with transport control program is resolved.
in the above reply u r telling the requests don't load in the queue.
Is that means spool request or transport request. please clear the point.
Also as ur telling in  SM21: "Spool is full" ; and another message says: "Run-time error "SPOOL_INTERNAL_ERROR" occurred"
are occurring. Can u just go to those work processes, and analyze the trace file errors(which will be listed in red colour).
if ur having any issues, paste the trace file error log here.
let us know if u have any issues,

  • STMS import problem

    Dear experts,
I've got a problem importing my packages from Netweaver Trial 7.01 into Netweaver Trial 7.01 SR 1. I've already asked this in the trial forum, but it appears that this issue is too specifically connected to STMS configuration for the trial people to know...
STMS configuration generally seems to be working. I've created a new transport which I was able to export, got the header and data file, which I was able to append to the import queue again.
However, in the same directories with the "new" transport files, I've copied the files from the old release. But the search help, when adding transports to the queue, simply doesn't provide the old transport request... I've manually entered the transport numer, but it claims that the transport doesn't exist.
I've also debugged into the serach help to find out that the transport list comes from an RFC module which doesn't allow remote debugging.
I've also tried calling tp.exe manually (tp IMPORT K900001 NSP), which also gives an error.
Now, I must admit, I've run out of ideas what else I could check. If anyone here has an idea, that'd be just great!
    Best wishes,
    Jan

  • STMS: how to hide the Import All Requests button in the import queue view?

    Hi All,
I'd like to know how to hide the "Import all requests" button in the import queue view.
Thanks a lot for your answers.
    G.

    Hi,
about hiding i have a doubt but u can inactivate by following procedure,
    As referred in a thread:
On the domain controller, in STMS>overview>systems>(double click the one you want to change)>Select Transport Tool tab and click on change. Add Import_single_only value 1, import_single_strategy value 1 and no_import_all value 1. Save distribute and activate.
    or
    Refer to OSS NOTE 194000.
    Thanks & regards.

We have DEV,QAS & PRD(ON AIX and oracle 9.2) and solman (win2k3 & oracle 10.20 single system TMS).Few days ago we had configured Change request management successfully. As per requirement we had made Domain link between SOLMAN and Domain controller (QAS).Everything was working fine till two days ago when we observed that R/3 systems were not able to read the import queue of SOLMAN.Even solman was not reading its own import queue and giving error TP PROGRAM COULD NOT BE STARTED.checked sharing, permissions, hosts file entry ,service file entry ,rfcs(CALLTP_WindowsNT) but no benefit. But while checking dev_rfc we got the log

    Hi,
Have you tried restarting the SAP system (SOLMAN system) ?
Please check the HOST file on each server whether it also contains "host" entries for other servers.
Also check the below note if applicable in your problem.
[Note 616621 - RFC listener does not start after importing SR3|https://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/616621]

  • Cannot delete service pack in import queue

    Hi all,
we restored our system and I want to apply some patches now. In SPAM I get an error that the queue is not empty.
I checked STMS and found a support package stuck in the import queue which we tried to upload before we restored the system.
I tried to delete it but the delete job get stuck while the taskbar shows "tp user check ok".
Can anyone give me a hint how I can free the import queue again?
    Thanks in advance

    I solved the problem.
I just give the answer in case anyone experiences a similar problem.
The thing was, that the file did not exist anymore but the queue was still blocked because the buffer was not cleared after the system was restored.
All I needed to do was to delete the file "<sid>" in the folder /usr/sap/trans/buffer and do a refresh in transaction STMS.
Hope this will help someone in the future
    Cheers

  • Transport Request is disappearing from the import queue

    Hi everybody,
I am facing a problem with the transport import queue. When I exported a transport request and entered the STMS transaction, initially it is showing the request. But when I double click on the system(like DEV or PRD) it is saying "there are no requests in the import queue".
Please help in resolving this issue.
    Thanks in advance,
    Sreeharsha Singuru

Goto transaction SE01 and enter the transport number and put the cursor on the Transport number ans click Transport Logs (CtrlShiftF2) and see the structure .
This will give u the details of the Development , Quality , and Production Status for that request.
Like whether this request is moved to quality or  production . This you can make out from the Tree Node Structure of that Log .
    Check this .
If this is not there in the Quality then it is not imported from queue .

  • Import queue is running - couldn't delete

    Hi,
I have imported a request (by manually copying the export to import folders - since they are different servers on windows). The first imort worked well, importing all data dictionary objects.
When I tried to import the function group, function module, the import started running (it keeps showing  running even after an hour), but function module and function group are not imported. When I tried to import again, I couldn't import again, I am getting the message - import queue is still running. I closed the queue and deleted the queue and recreated the queue, but it looks like some background process is still running.
    Could anyone help? Thanks,
    Regards,
    Sundar.

    Hello Sundar,
In case you are talking about TP imports -STMS then there might be some old TP processes running at os level. Please kill them. Also delete any enries you find in /usr/sap/trans/tmp folder pertaining to the transport and then also delete any entries in import monitor.
After this you can start afresh with the imports.
    Regards.
