STO Configuration by many plants with same receiving Plant

Dear All
Good Morning,,,,,,,
Kindly discuss with me regards STO Process
My requirement is to STO Supplying plant more than one and Receiving
Plant is only ONE. Now I need to know whether its possible to
configure above requirement in SAP and processing concepts
simultaneously.
Example:
Supply Plant : A1, B1, C1, D1
Receiving Plant : Z1.

My requirement is supplying Plant [A] and receiving Plant [Z] material is 0.87 mm bottles
                                               and
                             supplying Plant <b> and receiving Plant [Z] material is 1.22 mm bottles.
                                              and
                            supplying Plant [C] and receiving Plant [Z] material is 5.0 mm bottles.
Supplying plants are located in A=Mumbai, B=Delhi and C=Pune different location and receiving Plant is in Bangalore.

STO - Extra Cost to be loaded on Receiving Plant - Urgent

I am using STO through MM route.
Now while doing STO, based upon some calculations which are part of the procedure some amount needs to be loaded to the receiving plant.
Now when i am tryiing to use a delivery cost condition, it is creating an extra Accounting document for the same.
What can i do to load some extra cost only to receiving plant... so that my accounting happens in the following manner;
Supplying PLant Db : 2000
Receiving Plant Cr: 5000
PLease help, this is an urgent issue.

Your question is not clear do you want to add freight cost on the receiving plant ?
if so have you created condition for your freight cost with delivery cost as condition
category and added to your STO shema?

Access Connections - Many APs with same SSID (Again)

I have a W520 running Access Connections 6.11 (release December 2013) on Windows 7 Pro 64-bit. Access Connections is still broken in regards to dealing with multiple Access Ponts having the same SSID. It keeps hoping from one access point to another regardless of signal strength of the AP.
The most desirable strategy would be if Access Connections would find and lock on to the best signal strength AP and stay there. However, it doesn't do that. It acts almost randomly. It also keep shifting around. The rate is almost random as well. Sometimes it will stay locked on to an AP for up to 10 minutes, at other times it shifts in as little as 30 seconds.
Other laptops, from other manufacturers like HP, Toshiba, and Apple do NOT exhibit this behavior on our campus. Other Lenovo machines running Access Connections DO exhibit this behavior. The problem is NOT machine specific (ie, not hardware or some weird idiosyncracy of the particular W520 i'm posting about). The problem is Lenovo's Access Connections. The problem is also not a configuration issue with the campus. I have a network at home running Airport Extremes all having the same SSID's and the W520 in question does exactly the same behavior there. Totally different hardware at home vs campus and same behavior. I cannot change the names of the AP as a fix. This is not a capability in the configuration of the AP's. Even if it were, I shouldn't have to do it. Campuses are often configured in this way. Campuses that are large commercial users who I believe are the most lucrative Lenovo customers.
This problem has been going on for literally years with different versions of Access Connections. Here are two threads in the Lenovo Community I found in under 30 seconds. Neither was solved correctly. In other words, Lenovo never fixed the software, and people had to either give up or resort to kludge solutions in their campus configurations.

Lenovo has actually made the problem progressively worse over time instead of fixing it. They have done this by removing the abilty to prioritize AP's by MAC address. Initially, Lenovo allowed you to configure 5 MAC addresses in order. Then, Lenovo removed that capability making it possible to only give a single MAC address as preferred. Finally, in recent iterations, Lenovo removed that capability alltogether. The box is still there in the UI, but it's greyed out. It is very frustrating to have this kind of thing happen. The prioritize capability is fundamentally a kludge, but at least it's something to give a bit of a workaround. Now we don't even have that.
Can a lenovo engineer please look at this issue and give me a timeline for resolution?
BTW, It is still not possible to configure Access Connections with a blank SSID either. I bring this up, because if you're going to fix the Access Connections code for multiple SSID's, you should be aware of the blank SSID problem as well. I imagine they are both in the same part of the Access Connections codebase, at least from a logical standpoint.

I found that there is a setting in the Intel driver (15.9.1.2, released 8/22/2013) for the wireless card (Centrino Advanced-N 6205). The setting adjusts the "roaming aggressiveness". I can only guess this means how often the driver goes out and tries to find a "better" signal and/or bandwidth. The card supports a/b/g so the calculus is complex as to what constitutes "better", and I have no idea how sophisticated the algorithm the driver uses is.
That said, if I set the "aggressiveness" to the most aggressive setting, things work somewhat better. They are still not as a good as other wifi managers bundled with competing products (specifically HP, Toshiba, and Apple so far), but it helps. It does appear that more of the time now, the AP having the best signal appears to be the AP the laptop is attached to.
Lenovo, please consider that forcing your customers to dig around in arcane driver settings and relying on the whims of driver writers and hardware companies to do things correctly and well, is a recipe for failure. Your customers are just going to get annoyed and say to their colleagues, "My old Toshiba seemed to do a better job of WiFi connections. I think next time, I'm going to have IT get me one of those again." And, of course, that colleague will look a lot harder at buying the Toshiba instead of the Lenovo, as well. Wifi connectivity is a very big deal for people who have to move around - and lets not forget, this is a laptop we're talking about, which is explicitly designed to, well, be moved around.
I apologize for being so pedantic, but it often takes such measures to get managers in these companies who control programmer time, to take these issues seriously and allocate the programmer resources to fix these problems.
The problem I am having is still not considered "fixed." I would very much like to hear any other solutions that work better. I would love to hear from Lenovo on the matter. Still waiting.

STO, MD04 - visibility of outbound delivery at receiving plant MRP

How do Receiving plant know goods has been issued from supplying plant?? as MRP doesn't give any indication at receiving plant
automatic Inbound delivery against outbound is only solution?

In the MD04 screen when the outbound delivery has been PGI'd at the shipping plant the receiving plant will have an additional column showing up which holds the quantity that has been shipped.

Replaying to mail with same received address

now if I click replay and mail is sent to mymail2 as an example my mail message will default sending with mymail1 account which

SSO Configuration : Dual Stack Installation with same SID

We upgraded our BW system to 2004s with Java add-in installation. We used same SID for ABAP and Java stacks. I could not find a good document to configure SSO between ABAP and JAVA with same SID installation. I would appreciate if you can provide a link to the document or give me sequence of steps to be executed.

We are done with upgrade. Currently we are using SSO with UIDPW. I would like to configure SSO using certificates..
If I remember correctly instguides suggest to run template installer. I did use template installer but it fails in some steps as we have same SID for ABAP and Java. I manually configured all the steps using instructions from " SAP Nw2004s BEx WEb System Landscapes" published by Tobias Kaugmann. Still no luck.

STO plant1 to plant2 ,I have created PO and done delivery in VL10G ,stock is transferring from plant 1 unrestricted use stock to plant 2 on-order stock instead of unrestricted use stock..

This is standard functionality. Once MIGO is completed in the receiving plant, stock will be transferred to unrestricted use.

Send 837, 276 & 270 to same Trading Partner with Same Receiver and Submitter ID

I am trying to send different EDI to same Trading partners using same Receiver and Submitter Identifiers, but for different ISA15 and GS8.
When I tried to add another Agreement using same identifiers, BizTalk throws errors
Cannot save changes as it will result in two oneway agreements in agreements [Agreement_837] and [Agreement_276] to have same sender and receiver identities [ZZ:SenderID] [ZZ:ReceiverID]. (Microsoft.BizTalk.B2B.PartnerManagement)
I thought of using dummy ID and change it in Send Pipeline component with same Submitter and Receiver ID. But seems its a BAD idea. Is there anything I missed ?
Any suggestions / help is highly appreciated. Please help

You should be able to set GS08 on the Envelopers section of the You->Them tab of the agreement. You can set per transaction.
Unfortunately, ISA 15 is an Agreement level option and as you've seen, a unique sender/receiver combination is required.
I recommend setting EdiOverride.ISA15 in either an Orchestration or Pipeline Component for the transactions you want different from the Agreement ('T' I'd presume).

Multiple plants with same excise registration

I have 8 different manufacturing facilities/locations inside the same campus. Due to business requirement I have to make each of these manufacturing locations as plants. But, this campus/location is given only one Excise Registration by Govt. This company is maintaining only single set of excise books like RG23 registers, etc not as per each manufacturing locations.

1.Can I assign multiple plants to the same Excise Registration in

Will there be any issue?
2. Do I have to make multiple excise group or single excise group for plants?

If your Plants / Depos are Excisable then you have to create Separate Excise Group & Series Group.It will help you to see Excise Registers as per the Plant's different Excise Group.

Batch Master Changes reflecting all plant with same Batch

HI,
When we are doing any change in Batch Master ( MSC2n ) for one plant like Shelf Life expiry date or Classification data for one plant.
its automatically reflect on all plants for same batch.
Example:
Material : 123456
Batch : 10925
Shelf Life Expiry is : 31.12.2014
Plant : 1000
This Batch is available on 10 plants for same material.
Now when i change Expiry date from 31.12.2014 to 31.12.2015 on Plant 1000 for Batch 10925
its also change on all other 10 plants.
How can we restrict this behaviour we only want to change on 1000 plant . should not change other plats.

in classification tab we have one parameter "Release Status" which have value
X or Y. X means release and Y means Not release.
We are using this parameter for Auto batch determination purpose. if value is Y then this
batch will not come in auto batch determination.
same thing happend to this parameter. when we change value of this parameter in classification in one plant it is refelecting on all plants. which i dont want.

PinListener triggers many times with same value, then segfaults

Trying a simple button listener with RPi connected to a gertboard, whenever I press the button connected to configured GPIO (GPIO3 in this case, since only GPIO2 and GPIO3 seem suitable in order to use internal pullups) I get many notifications. Keeping pressed button raises a segmentation fault very, very soon.
This is my PinListener implementation:

Specifically, I left unconnected (i.e. oopen) P1/CON2 jumper and connected RPi Pin3 (marked as GPIO2 on J2 connector of my board, while it is marked as GPIO0 on schematics, due to pinout revision #2 against #1.
It seems that the problem comes from Pullup setting, that could cause flickering when floating...

How to handle a Customer Plants with same Physical Address

We have customers that have multiple plants in the same physical address. I need to be able to ship to the physical address but in va03 I also need to tell which lines are for which plant. So my question is how is best to handle this?
Here are the options I can think of.
1) Each customer plant will be its own ship to even though they would be the same physical address and contact information.
2) Create a Partner that will hold each plant that will be attached to the ship to. This would work similar to Manufacture and Manufacture Plant in Purchasing. Then this customer plant partner would be attached to the sales order line in addition to ship to.
3) Use Option 2 but figure out what SAP standard partner for customer plant is.
Does anybody have better ideas?
Which one is the most appropriate to do?

You can map them as different Unloading points and enter the details in the Customer master unloading points details. When the slaes order is created, a pop screen will show you the different unloading points to chose one among them. This should solve your issue.

Photo files, why does my MB pro store some many files with same similar name in finder..

Not sure what you mean. Finder does not create files. Finder is used to Manage your files and folders, View what is on your drive and copy, move or delete those files. Yes you can create folders in Finder.
A screen shot of what you are talking about would go a long way to helping you.
As to your Picture files just how do you copy them to your drive? Do you first create a folder, with the date as the folder name or some other discriptive name so you can understand when and where you took the images?
If you're not doing that you might want to give that a try, works for me. If you are loookiing at the "All My Files" entry in the Sidebar then I suggest you turn that off in the Finder Preferences. I find it totally confusing. I know where my Files are so I don't need Finder to list them all in one long list.

Tabs just keep rolling across my screen endlessly; update never gets installed. Have selected free download many times with same result. Firefox follows up with a message that my version is out of date but I can't get the update to completely install.

The https://www.mozilla.org/plugincheck/ is not always accurate or reliable (needs to be manually updated) as Adobe has not been keeping the Adobe products versions to check for updated on that page as the recent Flash updates on December 9 has shown.
It is however accurate when it says versions in Plugins panel of Addons Manager is outdated.
There is Adobe Reader 11.0.10 though it seems like Adobe still provides 10.1.4 at http://get.adobe.com/reader/otherversions/ yet newer versions are at http://www.adobe.com/support/downloads/product.jsp?product=10&platform=Windows

James, why does the Firefox addon page link to the 9.5 "blocked for your protection" page instead of the 10.5 blocked page? Is that a mistake/failure to update on Adobe's part? That seems like something that should be controlled on the Mozilla side, since it has the 10.5 blocked page in existence as well. Should someone be notified that it's giving the wrong page to people?
The adobe update you linked to made it stop saying it's out of date, but what about the Java Development Toolkit? (As pictured in attached image #3). How should I go about getting that up to date?
