STO DN with specified GI location

we are using Stock Transport Order with Delivery and Billing Document in AFS, when we do VL10F/VL10B, we want to specify a storage location as default GI location in DN. OVL2/OVL3 had been done, now storage location is OK for Item level in DN, but it is wrong for SKU level.
for example:
i had "assign picking locations" to location 1, material A has inventory in location 2, but no inventory in location 1. when VL10F/VL10B, storage location in item level is location 1, but storage location in SKU level is location 2. how to do revise this in AFS?

Hi Colin,
The default storage location in delivery is set the same way no matter if it is delivery for STO or any other outbound delivery. The location is controlled by the shipping point and the storage condition field on the "Storage" view in the material master.
The link is set up in IMG for Logistics Execution --> Shipping --> Picking --> Determine Picking Location --> Assign Picking Locations.

SAP AFS - VL10B delivery from specified storage location

Dear all,
I have created STO for an AFS material.
As this material is available in various storage locations of the supplying plant.
Now I am trying to create delivery through VL10B, entered the Purchase Order, Plant and specific location in the material tab, but system is not generating any outbound delivery in the background.
again, in VL10B, if I have not specified any storage location in the material tab, system is generating the Outbound delivery for multiple storage locations with reference to batch split.
How come system is not picking the specified storage location in VL10B transaction.
Can I specify the issuing storage location while creating the STO, so that during VL10B, automatically the system will pickup the same storage location.

Dear Urendra,
If you creating a delivery for an AFS material, system picks the stocks based on the allocation rule defined in the system. Hence first efine the allocation rule in the system.
To achieve the functionality of issuing stock in case of a STO from a
particular storage location kindly maintain the below customizing.
1) Go to transaction J3AS -> arun detail -> define allocation logic ->
stock sorting
3) Here maintain a stock sort rule .
5) To this sort rule you can assign fields in this case it would be
LGONR with field values EW and QA
6)Once that is done, give the priority to the storage location in
accordance to your requirement.
7) Assign this sort rule to the main Arun type following the
path J3AS-> ARun type-> here select Arun type and then under allocation tab
go to the allocation rule maintained , out here there is the option
stock sorting.
Once this is done the storage location picked would be in the order
of the above mentioned priority.
Only if there is no stock in storage location of higher priority
will the stock be then picked from storage location of lower priority.

With out storage location in PO and VL31N is it possible to post GR wit 103

Hi There,
My scenario is once PO is created then create the inbound delivery in VL31N against PO,after that post the GR with movement type 103 once inspection is complete then reverse with m.type 105.
Here my question is in PO storage location is optional where as in VL31N with out storage location when post the GR system is giving error message that "document incomplete. You cannot post goods movement"
So I need solution without entering storage location in PO and VL31N system shouls allow to posr GR with m.type 103 and 105.
Appreciate you help.

You can post GR agains inbound delivery (IBD) in MIGO (A01-R04) - specify the inbound delivery number, enter movement type 103 then push enter.
In this case system does not ask for storage location, so w/o entering SLoc in the IBD you can post the GR.

Using External_Stage can we specify a location other than staging dir

While using external stage mode for weblogic(I am trying for weblogic92)we must manually copy the deployment files(web app) to the staging directory of each target server before deployment.
Is there a option to copy the deployment files to another location other than Server's staging directory? To be more specific can I specify a location which is outside the server?
Secondly, with no-stage option of weblogic we can have a external location for the web application, but in case of the cluster,
this location has to be either shared or
the secondary node should have the same location(path to the web application) as that of the primary server.
Here is my config.xml entry of the primary node.

Here there is only one source path for the entire Cluster. So if both of the server nodes have a valid location(C:\TestWebApp\TestWebApp.war), then the deployment will be fine on a running server. But on the second server node, if the Web app does not exists on that location, deployment will fail.
When we share the location the concept of cluster is lost. If go with the second option then the user is restricted to have the same path on second node also.
Is there any way to specify differnt locations(of the same web app) for different servers in the Cluster?

A few points of clarity:
1) Session starts in consumer group LOGIN_GROUP. That does not have session queueing since queueing sessions at log on time results in the user experience of a hung session, which we cannot have. Whether service X is used to get it there or something besides services is fine; how is not a concern at this point.
2) Session moves to consumer group MAIN_GROUP after about 5 CPU seconds in the LOGIN_GROUP. We want to do this because the MAIN_GROUP has session queuing, which we want for most sessions after they have the unqueued login experience per point #1.
3) Session moves to consumer group SLOW_GROUP after about 60 CPU seconds in the MAIN_GROUP (or some number of seconds; exact numbers are not the main focus here). We want this because we want long-running queries to be downgraded. However, we don't want to leave the session there since the query is the thing that is running long, so we want the session to get back to MAIN_GROUP when it is done. However, if we use SWITCH_FOR_CALL when going to the SLOW_GROUP, it will switch back to the LOGIN_GROUP. Which is the trouble--LOGIN_GROUP is an unqueued group, so we don't get the desired session queueing.
4) The solution must be fully automated without any DBA intervation or application code. We cannot use appliation code as this solution is intended for BI users working in tools that have direct data access. Thus prevents the use of DBMS_SESSION as you stated in your posts. How would we do that switching in an automated fashion without application code?
5) We cannot put the DBMS_SESSION commands in a login trigger since that would switch groups to MAIN_GROUP and would again run the risk of queueing a session at login, which feels like a hung session to users and results in a bad user experience and help desk calls.

Not exactly a spatial question but the answer is "no" as far as I am aware.
TOAD for Oracle has a nice feature called "Rebuild Table" that provides a GUI interface for redefining and moving columns around. Basically it generates all the required DDL for you - it saves all the constraints, indexes, triggers, etc. Then it creates a new table with your changes, renames the old table with a suffix and replaces all the constraints, indexes, triggers on the new table. Most helpful.
However - see this makes the post spatial in nature :) - for as long as I have been around this feature of TOAD has not been able to handle SDO_GEOMETRY columns - failing with "ORA-22917: use VARRAY to define the storage clause". The good news is the new TOAD 10 now is free of this bug.
This is not meant to be a commercial for TOAD, I just don't know of any other product with this feature. Others may know of similar things perhaps or you can write a function yourself in PL/SQL.

How do I specify file locations in a structure application?

I want to export a structured Frame file to XML, using a structure application that I create. I have a DTD, a read/write file, and a template file, all stored on a network drive. I would like to specify the locations of these files using the notation \\MyServer\folder\...\folder\name.dtd, etc to make the application independent of the drive mapping. I can do this for the read/write file and the template file, but FrameMaker complains when I specify the DTD file in the same way. If I change the path for the DTD file to be R:\...\folder\name.dtd, then FrameMaker does not complain about it but apparently sees the read/write and template files just fine.
Why is this? Am I doing something wrong in the path specification?
I am using FrameMaker 9.0.3 on Windows XP with all service packs.

Yes, I also used the form K:\folder\...\name.dtd, and it works. The problem down the line is that FrameMaker inserts that text into the <!DOCTYPE ... > element, which is normally OK; however, when I open the file in Dreamweaver, DW changes the statement to <?DOCTYPE ... ?>, which is the incorrect form. Subsequent testing indicated that Dreamweaver did this because of the colons, as in K:. Why? I do not know, except maybe Dreamweaver is making some assumptions about what it expects to see in the file.

I tried changing the backward slashes to forward slashes, but that did not work also. But in that process, I discovered that the problem was due to spaces in the names of the folders and file names. Replacing the spaces with %20 did not work, but removing them or replacing them with underscores DID work.
So, now I have the locations specified with BACKward slashes and NO SPACES in folder and file names. This works just fine. Moreover, FrameMaker creates a doctype statement with FORWARD slashes in the path name, which is more universal.
So, for the time being, I am very happy.

as mentioned by Rama Krishna, STO process can be mapped for storage location to storage location transfer. This feature is available from 4.7 (I think service pack 200 or something).
You have to do configuration
Check in SPRO - MM - Purchasing - Purchase order - Set up STO - Set up STO between S loc.
The remiaing process is like normal STPO.

I want to design my database to get data with specified criteria. How do I do it without supplying common 'Where' condition?

I have more than 100 tables and each table have 2 fields CompanyID And LocationNo.
for example there is a table like Sales which is containing details about tax invoices. in this table invoice number can be duplicate with CompanyID and Location number.

I want to get all invoice data where CompanyID is 1 and LocationNo also 1.
I know i can do this with simple where condition Where CompanyID=1 AND LocationNo=1. but there are more than 100 tables which are containing same fields and also i want to get only those data where CompanyID=1 AND LocationNo=1. so i cannot put where condition
everywhere in the whole project to get specified data only.
Is there any whay to create any datasource or ODBC connection that will help me to get data from only specified criteria.
More Information
I want to do something like Tally ODBC Server which is creates temporary ODCB server to retrive data from the tally database. This server retrieves only those data which transaction date is selected in Tally Software.

Your idea is good.But, CompanyID and LocationNo can be different on differnt place. So, i cannot fix it with 1 or any other value.
if any way to pass both parameter into sql connection. So, when i execute only select query without where condition it will returns only specified data.
If you have used Tally then you know it creates ODBC server for its custom database. We can retrieve data into excel using TallyODBC_9000 connection.
This connection retrieves only those data which transaction date is selected in tally software.

The errror message of MapViewer is nearly the same with some more informations about the spatial query and the coordintes of the query window. If I run that spatial query in the sqldeveloper it returns a result!
I did following stebs:
- saved a tiff-Image in a GeoRaster table with pyramid an tiled images.
- checked the sdo_geom_metadata --> they are correct
- checked the sdo_georaster object for the rdt table name and rasterid --> they are correct
- checked the rdt table --> objects with that rid are saved
- checked the mdsys.sdo_geor_sysdata table --> entry is correct
- validate the geraster with the sdo_geor.validategeoraster function --> object is valid
- updated the spatial extend of the image and try again the preview functio--> the same error
The databse server is a virtual Linux server with Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 - 64bit.
The web server is a Window 2003 R2 Server with a weblogic server and mapviewer patch 5 (Ver1033p5_B081010).
For a test I did the same (the same table script, the same raster data, the same import method) on a developer pc (WinXP Pro SP2) with Oracle Database 10g Enterprise Edition Release 10.2.0.1.0 (32bit) the same mapbuilder version but with the MapViewer QuickStartKid and it works fine!!!
Has anyone an idea?

How do I use iCloud to collaborate on a GarageBand project with a remotely located musician? He is in Valencia, Spain, I am in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We'd like to be able to work on the same GarageBand document together, laying down tracks, etc.
Is there a tutorial I should look at?

Are you using GarageBand on a Mac or on an iPad?
With iCloud you can store your GarageBand projects in iCloud, so you can work on the same project on all your iPads, iPods, iPhones, and transfer it from your iDevices to your Mac. But you cannot use iCloud to share a project between people with different AppleIDs.
To send GarageBand projects back and forth, compress the the ":band" files and mail them, if they are small enough or put them in a Dropbox or other cloud storage and mail the link.

Hi, guys
I cannot view delegate mailbox in Outlook. Following is my configure.
I have two mailbox A-User and B-User
Login Outlook as A-User, click File -> Account Settings -> Delegate Access, add B-User and give Editor permission of Inbox.
Right click A-User's root inbox and select Properties -> Permission, select B-User and check "Folder visible".
Login Outlook as B-User on other computer, click File -> Account Settings -> Account Settings, select B-User and click Change -> More Settings -> Advanced, add A-User.
Now I can see a root A-User in Navigation Pane. But when I click it, it shows
"Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Outlook cannot access the specified folder location."
or
"Cannot display the folder. Microsoft Outlook cannot access the specified folder location. The operation failed. An object cannot be found".
I searched some solutions from internet, but all of them don't work. Could you give some suggestions?

First, please double check if you have given the right permission to B-User on your step 2.
In addition, we can try to give a higher permission to the B-user to check the result.

MB5T gives you Details of STO which have stok in transit.
ME2W gives you supplying plant wise STO details. Also in ME2W , in the ALV report output, if you select the "delivery Schedule line" icon , you will get details such as , STO qty, Issued qty , undelivered qty etc.

Issue with changing database location at runtime

I am having a similar issue to:

where I am using Crystal Reports 2008 SP 3 fix pack 3.3 and a OLE DB connection to a SQL 2008 R2 server. Running on a computer on the network where the report can see the original development server is fast, other computers where that server is not available are hanging 20 seconds before coming up.
I am using the same code from the Crystal Sample app to change the connection on each table. I found that the slowness comes the first time the ReportDocument object is accessed to get the collection of database tables, before the connection info is set.
Fix pack 3.4 was mentioned in that post. Does fix pack 3.4 fix that issue? I don't see fix pack 3.4 on the downloads page (https://websmp130.sap-ag.de/sap%28bD1lbiZjPTAwMQ==%29/bc/bsp/spn/bobj_download/main.htm)

I just found on the reports that were having the issue there was a SQL Expression. Per this thread:

There was an issue with that and the fix is not out til the end of Feb so I found a way not to use the SQL Expression and the speed is much better.
However, your information provided led me to this post:

And I am also experiencing an issue where the table location is not changing on one subreport and I will look into that as a possible solution.

Problem Mail-Adapter attachment with specified name

Hi,
We have the following scenario:
We have some EDIFACT-suppliers which we have to connect over Mail-adapter.
We have to fullfill several specifications by sending the mail.
So we have to create a specific filename for the EDI-attachment and the subject. Therefore I used the adapterspecific attribute THeaderSUBJECT, which we set in Mapping. This works fine.
Now the problem: We have to send only the payload-document as attachment of the mail with the same name as the subject of the mail. So we can't use the keep-attachment flag because then all attachments of this message would be sent in the mail.
How is it possible to send only the payload as attachment without any other documents and with specified filename in the attribute THeaderSUBJECT?
Has anybody an idea how to solve this problem?

I have found a solution.
In a new module I copy the original paload to the payload of a new message object without attachments.
After calling this module I call the standard module MessageTransformBean to transform the payload into the attachment of the message.
Here the code of my module:
