MRP - Create STO for Stockk Transfer between Storage Locations

Hi Everyone,
I have a scenario where MRP run should create Planned Order as well as STO for a VSF Requirement. The reason is our Plant has got 2 Storage Locations. One is the Production Storage Location and the other is Warehouse Storage Location. The Planned Order should be for Production SLoc and STO should for Stock Transfer from Production to Warehouse Storage Location. Your suggestions are much appreciated to resolve this issue.

I know that companies did already Storage location to storage location STOs in 4.6c but they had z-tables to assign customer numbers at storage location level, and they had changed some coding to make it happen.
I am not sure if there is an OSS note that explains the steps and modifications needed......but try to search OSS.

Looking for earphones/mic that actually work with Droid Charge?

New to Droid Charge and am finding out that finding a set of earphones with a microphone for answering calls is pretty difficult. Found quite a few that are supposed to work with the Charge, but after reading the reviews find that they don't in some way or another. Help!!!

I have the V-Moda Remix 4S. They list for $80, but got them at Costco for $50 - then they had them on sale for $30 last month- D'oh. They're very solid; the earbuds are metal instead of plastic, the cord is made out of nylon (I think) and has a Kevlar center - these are the toughest earbuds I've seen. The best/worst thing about it is the play button. On my Charge (like it does on an iPod/iPhone), it starts and stops calls, starts and stops music, skips to the next/previous song and enables shuffle - which I found surprising (I use Doubletwist as my music player). The down-side is that it's a little awkward to press - it's convex instead of concave. The microphone works as it should. They're probably worth the $80, but they're a steal at $30 if you can get them.

Report for PO wise balance order quantity with delivery due date

ME2L with Parameter WE101 and Scope EINT , do not give balance PO item quantity .We look for areport which can give PO wise balance item quantity and delivery schedule date .

Free goods with delivery charges

Hi,
My main vendor supplying a material for free of charge, but there is transportation charge need to be paid to transport vendor. How to handle this scenario.
I have entered the freight charge at header, but system considering the total freight value as Zero, and not possible to do Invoice verification, Please advice how to handle such scenario?

Alternately, a service PO followed by SES can be created for the freight and LIV can be done.
or
Certify the bill manually and FI can pass the same thro' FB60.

Freed goods from vendor with delivery charges

Here is one requirement, one vendor offered some free goodsto the client and client has to pay the delivery costs,
when creating PO with free goods indicator , the conditions tab is not reflected,
this delivery is a planned delivery,

Linking Delivery Items with Delivery Items having batch

Hello Fellow ABAPers,
Does any one of you know how SAP links items in Delivery table (LIPS) without batches with their respective items having batch.
For e.g. in Delivery Item we have delivery no. , item and batch. Assume we have delivery no 801xx and item 10 for this record there is batch with delivery no. 801xxx and item 90001. Likewise for delivery no 801xx and item 20 there is batch with delivery no. 801xxx and item 90002.
How does SAP link line item 10 to 90001 and line item 20 to 90002. Batch no. could be different. If there are multiple batches for the same line item, how can we identify them programmatically?
Is there any separate table in SAP or is it maintained in LIPS only?
If you any of you have worked on this please let me know.

In LIPS table itself, there is a field called UECHA. (Higher-level item of batch split item)
This field contains the higher level item number
for eg. consided line item 10 in 2 batches called 90001 and 90002
VBELN             POSNR              UECHA
801xx                 00010                   0000
801xx                 90001                   0010
801xx                 90002                   0010
801xx                 00020                   0000
if UECHA is 0, then it is the higher level item

Plz go through below STO config..........
Follow the below steps to to make STO between two plants belongs to different company company codes.It is also called as Inter Company STO.....
1)Create one Customer Master in XD01 with respect to Supplying Plant Sales Area and assign this Customer no with Receiving Plant in OLME->PO-> set up STO->Define shipping data for plant and for the supplying Plant assign the above sales area.( Make sure,In Customer Master,sales Area Tab: you are maintaining shipping condition)
2) For Receiving Plant Pur. Org and Co.Code Combination create Vendor master in XK01 and in this vendor master assign the Supplying plant in Pur.Org.Data screen->Extras--> Add.Pur.data
3) OLME->PO-> Set up STO------>For your supplying plant assign document type NB, Delivery type NLCC and Checking Rule RP
4)then For your supplying Plant and receiving Plant assign Document type NB
5)Make sure you are maintaining Sales View for the material at supplying Plant and in Sales /Gen plant Data view maintain Availability check, Loading group and Transportation group.
6) In SPRo-->Logistics execution> Shipping->Basic shipping functions->Shipping point Determination>assign shipping points-> For your Loading group,Shipping Condition and Supplying plant combination,Assign shipping point
these are the configuration settings you have to do in background.
Then Create STO from Receing Plant in ME21N with document type NB.
Based on that STO, Create Delivery in VL10B from supplying Plant
Do PGI in VL02N from Supplying plant
Do GR in MIGO at Receiving Plant keeping Outbound delivery as a ref. document.
Now your STO bet. two plants belongs to diff. Co.Codes will be completed.
For Intra-Company STO: ie)STO bet. Plants belongs to same Co.Code

Define Shipping Data for Stock Transfers Between Storage Locations

Set Up Stock Transfer Between Storage Locations-->
Define Shipping Data for Stock Transfers Between Storage Locations

The Sales org, Distribution channel, Shipping point, Vendor and Customer are maintained to created the delivery.
It is for the transfer of stock between storage locations with any movement type.
Eg: When you do a 311 movement type from Sloc A to Sloc B, then it will create a inbound delivery with the Vendor specified for Sloc A and an outbound delivery from Sloc B with the Customer specified assuming the customer and the vendor as the Plant.
You have to create a internal Vendor and Customer.

Approval for storage location to storage location or plant to plant movemen

Hi all,
Our client's requirement is when goods transfer from the storage location to storage location with movement type 311 or plant to plant with movement type 301, untill & unless the authorised person at the receiving end approves it, the movement should not be happened?
How to map this? Any release strategy?

You can map the process in SAP using 2 step stock transfers.
Storage location 1 313 movement type - it will be in transit until you do receiving in the receiving storage location 2 using movement type 315
Similarly for plant to plant movement type 301 and 305.
There is no customization available in SAP to do this with the single step stock transfers that you are currently using.

In 4.6 C version you will not get the Storage location to storage location Stock transfer option.
This is applicable to the ECC version only.
In 4.6C version you can adapt the Transfer posting from Storage loc to Storage loc using the Movement type 311,
but if you need the delivery type, Shipping data for Stock transfer b/w Storage loc to Storage location it is not possible in 4.6 C version. It is only avalibla in ECC versions.

Location required for stock within a storage Location

Dear All,
Can we have location concept to identify different stock location within as Storage Location. We are only using MM module and not using WM Module.
Is there a option to maintain location concept to identify stock located at different location in a storage location only in MM Module.

Hi,
   As you know, the same can be very well mapped using WM. If you are not using WM, you may check the following option.
   If you are using same location for a material within a storage location, you can maintain the location as "storage bin" in the material master - "plant data / stor. 1" view as shown below:
   The same will be shown in MMBE:
   Please note that this storage bin is not actual storage bin, its just a text field for tracking the storage area. It doesnt have any other control.

In 4.7 version you will not get the Storage location to storage location Stock transfer option.
This is applicable to the ECC version only.

Hi
Excise will be levied only if the material moves from a plant to another plant or a depot.
If u try to move a material from a storage location to another within a plant then there will not be any excise involvement.
Check with ur finance guys .
Also if u r trying to move ur material to a storage location outside ur plant, then the same has to created as a plant or a depot and then STO has to be done.
Basically for India excise comes to paly a role when the material leaves the premises only.
Check and revert .
