I am trying to create the sto po for intra company but in po screen the condition tab is not appearing what could be the reason

Hi,
Kindly check whether your PO Free or Return Indicator is check. This can cause the condition tab not appearing.
If not, check your Doc type settings

    in sto ur not selling the material to ur plant
    so the issue of free goods is not there
    thats why u cant see any kind of basic cost condition in that
    as the material is transfer from one plant to another the inventory changes and so the the price in material master is get updated for the another plznt

    This is 100% retail scenario which i have not worked
    But i think the screen layouts of both R3 and retail are same for ME21N
    In that after the info record field there is check box for Return item and free item
    If you tick the free item
    check box then those items are not charged in the nett value of the doc
    Suppose if you transporting 1000+100 pens from a distribution center to a store
    then in STO first you give pen 1000 nos
    and in the second line item you can give 100 pens with free ticked

    now suppose u have A B C amterial where C is free
    then try making STO of A and B complete the cycle
    and for C u can directly transfer with movement 311 movemnt on MIGO
    or
    try creating the free material as nonvaluated in both plants
    then try doing the STO (dont tick for free as it is non val )

  • Line Item Problem in  while  Proforma Invoicing in case of STO

    Hi All,
    The problem is related to Line Item Quantity in Proforma Invoice which is explained with an example -
    When we are doing Outbound Delivery for STO ( Stock Transfer Order ) we have the batch-split function where 2 line generates for a single line item material A in which in the first line no delivery quantity and value gets reflected and in the second line for the same material the delivery quantity gets reflected with batches. Then we save the order and done PGI. After that while doing the proforma invoice there also again the 2 lines appear for the single material A where the first line doesn't contain invoice quantity and value and show as 0pcs.In the second line for the same material it shows the invoice quantity with value. I want to remove this first line for the  same line item from proforma invoice and want the system to generate only one line for the line item containing the invoice quantity.
    Point to be noted that this thing doesn't happen for normal sales cycle done through Sales Order.
    I have also checked with the Item Category NLN where i have tried the Billing relevance N - Pro Forma - no zero quantities (including main batch items) and L - Pro Forma - no zero quantities. Still the same problem is arising.
    What is the problem here and how can it be solved?

    check for your batch item cateogry,,, maintain the batch item cateogry setting same as it is ther in case of normal sale cycle. or what you can do ,,,copy your batch item cateogry and create a new batch item cateogry for your STO delivery .
    i did it and it is working fine for me. please check the batch item cateogry and matain it the same way.

    Settings for STO:
    SPRO >IMG > MM >Purchasing > Purchase Order>set up Stock Transport Order
    Define Shipping Data
    Define/assign Checking rule
    Assign Delivery Type
    Assign Doc type
    I have maintained the following pre-requisite master data
    1. Supplying/Receiving plants are created as customer/vendor master
    2. Excise details (customer/Vendor/Plant) data are maintained in J1ID
    3. Assessable value is entered in J1ID
    Process flow:
    1. ME21n - Create STO (PO type:UB)
    2. VL10B - Create Outbound Delivery
    3. VL02N - PGI
    4. VF01 - Create Pro-forma Invoice (Stock Transfer Invoice)
    5. J1IIN - Post Excise Invoice
    at the receiving Plant
    6. MIGO-Post Goods Receipt.
    After entering the excise invoice and clicking on CHECK button in MIGO, the following errors are appearing
    1. Excise Details are not maintained for Vendor .-Message no. 8I565
    2. Maintain Vendor for the excise invoice -Message no. 4F185
    3. Please check excise base for the item is zero ! -Message no. 4F121

       Kindly maintain Excise Indicator for Vendor in TCODE-J1ID
    2. Maintain Vendor for the excise invoice -Message no. 4F185
         Kindly maintain Excise Indicator for VENDOR in  J1ID
    3. Please check excise base for the item is zero ! -Message no. 4F121
         As excise in calculated on Base amount for Item so need to maintain Pricing for item then only it will be able to calculate
      or if u dont want to item not  to be relevent for pricing then make Excise condition type as manual an maintain it manually .

    Hi Anbu..
    Post Migo without excise entry and try in J1IG to post the excise invoice.
    In J1iG..enter material doc of GR ,Excise invoice no from Manufac plant,check own plant and
    Click Details to get the excise values as in excise invoice.

    i am facing the problem in creation of stock transport order with ME21N code. i m getting the error msg of "Not possible to determine shipping data for material in STO "
    i have checked the stock transport order setup in customization. but not getting the clear idea to come out from this problem.
    if anybody have the idea of " how to do the customization of stock transport order setup, pls. let me explain.

    Hi Rajesh,
    when ur creating STO with UB doc type, then you have to maintain material in both the plants.
    Regarding the error which is comming for you, you have to check the settings at
    SPRO- IMG- MM-Purchasing-Set up stock transport order- Assign delivery type & Checking rule
    here for document type UB and your supplying plant-XXXX select nothing for Dlv type(delivery type) and chr - 01 and after this save.
    After this you create STO as you are doing and see what the system is prompting.

  • Creation of  Sales Order throogh Intercompany STO

    Dear SAP Gurus,
    I have a question
    In the intercompany stock trasnport orders.As per the standard process
    i) Creation of STO
    ii) Creation of replenishment delievry.
    iii) Goods Issue from the supplying plant.
    iV) Good receipt at the receiving plant.
    Our requirement is to create a sales order through IDOC in place of delivery at the delivering company code.
    All the subsequent docuements like delivery and shipment will be based on this newly created sales order.
    I want to know primarily that is there anyway of creating a sales order instead of Delievery subsequent to creation of STO.
    IF so how can we disable the SAP standrad process ( Std Intercompany STO process) and enable our requirement.
    A quick response is highly appreciated.

    You can create sales order in the background while creating intercompany purchase order.
    By using BAPI BAPI  BAPI_SALESORDER_CREATEFROMDAT1.

  • Free goods master for STO or workaround to meet this requirement

    Dear Gurus,
    I use IS-retail and the situation we faced is we have got a deal from our vendor that if we buy article A will get article B for free. So we set a free goods master using condition type NR00. It work fine in purchase order we order to our vendor however when we create STO to distirbute product from our DC to store, there are no free goods concept in STO.
    Does anyone have a solution for this issue or workaround for this?
    we would like to have a subitem (Free goods item)pop up automatically when create STO from DC to store for the main article.
    Is there a way to goods issue for sto with no cost for free goods article?

    I already tried and found that In STO , The free goods indicator is disable (suppress) unlike in normal PO. There might be a reason for this.  Do you any workaround on this?

  • STO - Excise tab not getting displayed in material document after posting.

    Dear all,
    We are facing an STO issue where in after we have done the receipt at the receiving plant with excise, the excise tab does not display in the GR material document.
    It is plant to plant stock transfer with excise, the process that we are following as given below:
    1) STO PO - ME21N
    2) Outbound delivery - VL10B - Post PGI in VL02N
    3) Outgoing excise invoice - J1IIN  - With the key DLFC.
    4) GR - MIGO with excise invoice capture.
    During GR posting in MIGO screen the system does display the excise tab, we enter the outgoing excise number and the corresponding values appear in BED, ECS and HCES. We post the GR material document.
    But after posting the material document if we display the same GR material document it does not show the excise invoice tab. And since we are not having part 1 entry number we are not able to post the part 2 entry in J1IEX.
    Request to please do let us know if we have missed out on any configuration or master data.

    Check whether you have maintained Schema determination for respective document type and STO.
    below mentioned is the navigation path to maintain the same.
    > spro - materials management - purchasing - conditions - define price determination process - define schema determination - Determine Schema for Stock Transport Orders
    Here maintain the Purchasing Schema group , Document type & pricing procedure for STO.
    Standard Pricing procedure for STO is RM2000.

    Thanks for your immediate response. I have still some confusion.
    Last month, I have material A with Production order quantity of 30000.
    'A' has a component 'B' which is an in-house produced material. Three planned orders each of 10000 were generated for B. Of these two planned orders were converted to production orders. One is still in planned order form.
    This month I am not going to use this planned order of B. I get new requirement for A. So during MRP run I get the planned orders for B also.
    For the last month requirement, as I have not converted one planned order of B to prod order, there will an open quantity of A prod order in this plant and open STO quantity in another plant. Again the PIR will also be not reduced to the same extent. If I reduce the PIR manually or through some reorganization, what about the open quantity of prod order and STO
    I think I can TECO the prod order of A. Is there any such thing for STO also?

  • Availablity check at storage location level in STO

    Hi,
      There is an unique requirement from my client with respect to the Availability check at storage location level in STO
    Process:
      Based  on the inputs from APO we are creating STR for moving the material from one plant to another plant. These STR’s will be converted into STO through ME59N batch job. During STO creation process system will do the availability check and only if stock is available in the issuing plant then only STO will be generated.
    During this availability check the stock will be considered at plant level and not at storage location level.
    Requirement/Scenario:
    Issuing plant contains two storage location ( location A & B).FG stock exists in both the locations.
    Our requirement is system should create separate line items in the STO based on the availability of the stock in the respective storage locations.
    Example
    Total required qty: 1000  of material X
    material X - Stock in Storage location A  : 600
    material X - Stock in Storage location B : 400
    Two separate line item needs to be created in the STO

    B
    Is there any function module available for doing Availability check at storage location level so that it can be called in ME59N with the enhancement.
    Please suggest how to achieve this. If any enhancements needs to be done we will do it.

    Hi Nilesh,
    in SAP standard the system is always checking on plant level first and then on the storage location level, there is no possibility to change this behaviour.
    I'm also not sure if the process is correct, because if you have also requirements on plant level only then you would create negative ATP if you confirm on storage location level even though there is no ATP on plant level.
    I'm also not aware of a user-exit that would suite your requirement, additionally according to the IMG documentation the user-exits in the availability check area should only be carried out in agreement with SAP.

    i asked user to do GR cancelation or reversal, it is not possible because stocks released to QA. and GR and IR created with ref to PO
