hi,
may be this will help you some what...
have following scenarios to map using SAP transportation module. I need suggestion/idea from you all as to how we can map it perfectly in SAP.
Requirements:
1. Scenario is of goods movement from One plant to another plant within same company code.
2. Receiving plant will create a stock transport order and maintain a freight cost. This freight cost is maintained in STO using a condition type. This is the contractual cost and calculation is based on dispatchedweight.
3. Dispatch plant will create a Replenishement delivery(VL10B) for above created STO. Dispatched weight will be captured in this delivery.
4.At the time of Post goods issue for above delivery following account posting should happen:
Inventory FG Cr. (At despatch Plant ) 48000 (cost of material)
Inventory FG Dr. (At Receiving Plant) 49000 (Cost of material + freight cost)
Freight STO FG Cr. (At Receiving Plant) 1000 (freight cost)
5. Receiving plant will do goods receipt (Received weight is captured).
6. Invoice verification: During this phase accounts department will verify the GR documents and does following determination:
6.1. Whether received weight is different from disptached weight.
6.2. Whether shipment is ontime, early or delayed.
6.3. Whether any transshipment happened or not (based on truck number).
7. After above determination is made an incoming invoice is created using following calculation:
7.1. Base freight = Received weight * contractual freight cost.
7.2. Penalty or incentive is levied based on whether shipment is delayed or early.
7.3. A penalty is levied if transshipment has happened (Transshipment are not allowed as per the contract).
8. payment is made and accounts are cleared.
What I have done so far:
1. Created an outbound shipment type.
2. Created a shipment cost document and shipment item category copying standard item category but with different rule for settlement date. Also, the account assignment category:K, General Modification: VBR, Auto PO generation.
3. Created one new freight condition type with Calculation type: Gross weight, calculation base: delivery. Assigned this condition type to a standard access sequence and created a new pricing procedure.
4. Created two more conditions for Penalty and incentive. Calculation base: All.
Proposed Solution:
1. Create STO. Insert a freight condition with contractual freight cost.2. Create Replenishment delivery.
3. Create an Outbound shipment and assign above delivery to it.
4. Shipment is put in 'Shipment start' when actual goods movement happens. As soon as shipment is saved after 'shipment start' auto goods issue will happen and following accounts will be posted.
Inventory FG Cr. (At despatch Plant ) 48000 (cost of material)
Inventory FG Dr. (At Receiving Plant) 49000 (Cost of material + freight cost)
Freight STO FG Cr. (At Receiving Plant) 1000 (freight cost)
5. Receiving plant will do Goods receipt (MIGO).
6. An custom job will be run after creation of GR document through MIGO which will update received weight in shipment document in a custom field.
7. Shipment status is moved to 'shipment end' and save. At this point a new code is built in userexit which will calculate the difference in 'shipment end' and 'shipment start' and compare this with planned duration of route (maintained in route). A determination of late or early shipment will be done by code and it will update 'special processing indicator' with specific values maintained earlier. Ex: 1 - shipment late by one day, 2- shipment late for two days. The penalty and incentive condition type records will be maintained against this indicator so thatcorrect condition record is called during shipment cost document creation.
8. A new pricing routine is built and assign to the new freight condition. It will look at the received weight maintained in a custom field at shipment level instead considering delivery weight.
9. Shipment cost document is created with reference to above created shipment and transfer of cost is

One more thing is I also need detail steps for  manual pricing in STO Intercompay process. Please guide me how to proceed
    Thanks

    Hello,
Is ZPRO is copy of PI01.If yes, make sure Ref cond tab should be blank (V/06).
Check Sequence in your pricing procedure(V/08).Zpro & Zk04 Should be before net value calculation.
If Pi01 is not required then you can determine new pricing procedure in intercompany billing.
    Revert if not resolved.

  • STO Pricing Procedure

    Hi all,
Is there any difference in STO Pricing for STO- MM module and IS-retail MM Module.
Which STO Pricing Procedure to use in IS-Retail..Please Help.
    Regards
    Gibi Philip.

I would agree, there is no changes from configuration point of view. The way MM-Pricing procedure is defined, in the same way Pricing procedure is defined in IS-Retail.
Depending on the business requirement, you can define pricing procedure relevant to STOs.

  • Notes or patch for Import/STO pricing Procedure.

    Hi All..
I want to copy Import -JIMPORT and STO pricing procedure.
    I am having RM0000 only.
I am in ECC6 but its not there. Can you pls tell me the patch or notes that i have to apply to get the Import pricing procedures.
    Earliest help will be useful.
    Thanks
    R.Kanann..

    Hi Sai
Your import pricing procedure shall contain the following:
    1) Delivery costs for Custom clearance
      - Custom duty
      - CVD
      - Ecess on CVD
      - SEcess
      - Ecess on customs
      - Addl custom duty
    2) Delivery cost for agent charges
    3) Local freight charges
All the above condition types are delivery costs only.
For every condition type, you will maintain the vendor, so that the respective condition delivery costs can be processed based on the document.
As soon as the material received at port, you will do MIRO for all the duties
By the the material reached banglore, you will do goods receipt.
The local freight can be processed based on the requirement (either before GR or after).
    warm regards

  • Intra Company STO pricing Procedure assignment

    Hi
In intracompany STO we need to raise invoice from the supplying plant to receiving plant. So i created STO pricing Procedure with Cost price plus Profit margin and transportation cost .Now where to assign this pricing procedure?Whether to assign this to NL Delivery doc type or in IV billing doc type.
    Regards
    Jyoti

    JYOTI PRAKASH KUNNAR,
    1. The Delivery Type that you use is NL for Intra company STO
    2. PO Document Type you use is UB
you will mainatin Assignemnt of the above
img>material managment>purchasing>purchase order>set up stock transport order--->assign delivery and checking rule
    3. NLN is item category used for Intra STO
    4. STock Transfer pricing procedure is maintained in SD for Billing with Docu PP + Custpp
    5. The Flow of Pricing is taken care by copy controls VTFL choose NL Delivery type and intra company billing type , choose item category NLN where Pricing type = B, Price Source = Purchase order.
BEing INTRA stock scenario we don't use IV billing. Because transaction is happening within company code between two plants.

  • Service industry pricing configurations

    Hi Experts,
Could you brief me the pricing configuration for the Service industry (Logistic or Couriers)
Here we need to consider out going consignments are chargeable and incoming consignment are free (Ex: Mobile billing)
      Thanks in Advance.
      Regards
      Priya.

    Hi Namita,
    Thats why i mentioned CRM2007
If on CRM7.0, we dont have reason maintenance but have all new Multiple Categorization concept introduced.
As PePe says, Service Request and Service Ticket are all different transactions as they have different  Buss. Objects. Service Request is new thing from CRM7.0 .Earlier we had only service tickets where you can maintain the reasoning.
Depending your Project Realization mapping as decided by Solution Architech, either service req. or service tickets should be used. Now since you are using Service requests, we have to fullfill your needs there only.
If you want, you can still get the Reason dropdown in WEB UI thought development. Add BTSUBJECT in the view and do the coding to read your subject profile , subject codes and show the texts. This will be pure development but i dont see much effort as you are still doing it in BT model. I would recommand to go with categorizations only as its SAP std. suggested for Service Requests scenario. Maintaining Categorization and schema is failrly simple however i feel SAP has un-necessarily complecated it. Follow the help.sap.com categorization under CRm service. They have nice explanations. We generally maintain categorization from WEB UI only and not through SPRO.
Let me know if you stuck up on coding part as i have already done it, i may help you.

  • Internate Pricing Configurator

    Hi All,
Does somebody have Internate Pricing Configurator (IPC) document? I am in an immediate need.
    Please send link.
    Regards,
    Nikhil

    Hi,
You need not do any configuration for IPC in CRM 5.0 or CRM 6.0. If your basis team had activated the IPC engine in your landscape. You should be able to see the pricing related details in your conditions tab of any transaction. So this would be your check point whether IPC is working or not..
The note which i have suggest is for advance technical users to modify the pricing routines and enhance the IPC functionalities.

  • Pricing configuration records

I am looking for a way to copy pricing records from one SAP instance to another.   We are able to this with Materials using ALE, but ALE does not appear to be able to handle the pricing configuration.    Is there a similar utility or method for copying the pricing information from one SAP instance to another.   We want to use this to update Dev and/or QA systems with the current pricing configurations from production.
    Thanks
    Dave Reclite
    Autodesk Inc.

Please check that there is an entry in table MNTNCT in ERP which defines that CRM is responsible for creating/editing the condition records. You can display the conditions only (vk13).
This is the standard behaviour of CRM-ERP integration projects where source of the condition record is CRM.

  • Pricing Configuration under Shipping and Transportation under LE..

    Hi PPL,
Can u plz throw some light on ..Pricing configuration present under
    (1) Transportainon (LE>Transportation>Shipment costs-->Pricing) and
    (2) Shipping(LE>Shipping>BSFunc->Pricing)
    in Logistics Execution.
    Which is used for what??
PLZ give me a scenerio where we need to configure both the Pprocs.n where do we maintain the condition records for the 2.
    Points Asssured
    Advance THNX..
    Cheerzz.
    Subbz..

    Hi Subbarao,
This pricing procedure will be related to the shipment cost calculation.
This pricing procedure used to calculate the shipment cost(Freight cost) in the shipment cost document.
Sceneraio:- When the company want supply the goods from India to the customer who is located in Japan.
To supply the goods from India to Japan he  may use different mode of transportation like
From plant to Air port(near to plant)-->By road
From India air port to Japan air port near to customer-->By flight
From Japan air port to customer place -->By road.
To do all these activitiesthey may have farwarding agent
To do all these activities company need to pay some commision to the farwarding agent.
So to calculate that farwarding agent commision in the shipment cost document and to calculate all the cost incured to transpoert the goods from India to Japan all will be calculated basd on this pricing procedure.
    About Second quiery
Condition records will be maintained in TK11 transaction for the shipment cost condition types.
I hope it will clear for you,

    Murali.

  • STO pricing to flow in SD billing

    Dear Friends,
We have a scenario where STO is done from one plant to another of same company code. Now we want the pricing schema which is done in STO to directly flow  to SD billing .Delivery item category used is NLN.and billing type used is ZJEX.we also know that the billing will be a proforma invoice.Pricing for STO is also maintained from SD side.
1.Please can any one guide us what settings has to be done from sd point of view for the copy
the STO pricing in to SD billing document
2.Also please let us know the effects if the billing done in SD has to create accounting documents
what will be the financial implications if done so.
    Thanks
    ajay

    Hi
STO between 2 plants od same company code
    There is no commercial billing
Delivery item cat billing relevence will be D that is proforma in NLN
Copy controls from NL (del type) to F8 (proforma billing type) is to be maintained in VTFL
Uder this header at item level for item cat NLN pls maintain price source as blank and pricing type as B
Note that in VOFA for F8 (proforma billing type) DPP is maintained as I
Again for your sales area DPP I and CPP 1 you maintain any PP if you want with any condition types
    in OVKK
Now when you create proforma billing system picks up the above mentioned PP
Since it is proforma billing there is no impact on accounting

  • Intercompany STO Pricing Maintenance

    Hi Gurus
    Scenario: Intercompany STO process (P.O -> D.O ->Billing & GR --> IR) - Involved Different Company Codes.
I understood the Material is valuated based on Shipping plant Part price.
    1) Now, how do the material price (seller price) to determine in the Buying side ?
    2) If the selling side price changes, how to maintain in the buying side ?
Appreciated if any one could explain in detail, how the valuation pricings to be maintained on both sides...
    Regards
    RG

    Hello,
You need to Configure  Pricing Procedure as per the requirements. It is determination which will play an important role.
Incase of STO,we select Invoice Type JEX (Whether Using JEX or any other Billing Type) ensure to check the Document Pricing procedure in Billing Type (VOFA) & accordingly carry out configuation for determination of Pricing Procedure in transaction: OVKK.
    Determination of pricing procedure :
In SD, Pricing Procedure is determined based on Sales Area (Sales Organization + Distribution Centre + Division) + Customer Pricing Procedure + Document Pricing Procedure through Transaction  OVKK.
Sales Area is determined in Sales Order Header Level. Customer Pricing Procedure is determined from Customer Master. Document Pricing Procedure is determined from Sales Document Type / Billing Type (if configured).
Once the pricing procedure is determined, Condition records are fetched. If appropriate condition records are found, the price is determined. If Mandatory pricing condition is missing, system will through an error message.
    Configuration of pricing procedure
Condition table (T.Code: V/04): If existing condition table meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition table. Considering the requirement for new condition table, the configuration will be done in spro as follows:
IMG>>Sales & Distribution>>Basic Function>>Pricing Control>>Condition Table (select the required fields combination, which will store condition record).
Access Sequence (T.Code: V/07): If existing access sequence meets the requirement, we need not create a new access sequence. Considering the requirement for new sequence, the configuration will be done in spro as follows:
IMG>>Sales & Distribution>>Basic Function>>Pricing Control>>Access Sequence (Access sequence is made up of Accesses (Tables) & the order of priority in which it is to be accessed. Here we assign the condition table to access sequence.
Condition Type (T.Code: V/06): If existing condition type meets the requirement, we need not create a new condition type. Considering the requirement for new condition type, the configuration will be done in spro as follows:
IMG>>Sales & Distribution>>Basic Function>>Pricing Control>>Condition Type. It is always recommended to copy an existing similar condition type & make the neccessary changes. Here we assign Access sequence to Condition type.
Pricing Procedure (T.Code: V/08): It is recommended to copy a similar pricing procedure & make the neccesary changes in new pricing procedure. Pricing Procedure is a set of condition type & arranged in the sequence in which it has to perform the calculation. Considering the requirement for new Pricing Procedure, the configuration will be done in spro as follows:
    IMG>>Sales & Distribution>>Basic Function>>Pricing Control>>Pricing Procedure>>Maintain Pricing Procedure.
Pricing Procedure (T.Code: VOK0): After maintaining the pricing procedure the next step will be determination of pricing procedure. Configuration for determining pricing procedure in SPRO is as follows:
    IMG>>Sales & Distribution>> Basic Function>>Pricing Control>>Pricing Procedure>>Determine Pricing Procedure.
Condition record (T.Code: VK11 / VK12): Condition record is a master data, which is required to be maintained by Core team / person responsible from the client. During new implementation, the condition records can be uploaded using tools like SCAT, LSMW, etc. Condition Record is maintained in T.Code: VK11 / VK12, which are captured in Sales Order & Billing.
Also check document pricing procedure in Sales Document Type (T.Code: VOV8 - Sales order Type, VOFA: Billing Type (If Required)), customer pricing procedure in Customer Master Data (T.Code: XD02)

Maintain the correct MRP parameter for the material, i.e., special procurement type for stock transfer in MRP2.
So, you have set this up and it generates the stock transfer requests.
Note that the STO will have the account assignment for sales order stock.
    Check following links for hints:
