Stock in Quality can not be cleared throgh Transfer posting.

Dear All,
i am facing one problem, i,e i deactivated the all inspection types in the material master and QM proc. key and control key are in active position.
by default whenever i do MIGO. system is proposing Quality inspection stock. Same think happened to many GRN's.
Now all theses GRN stock are there in the Quality stock. I tried to clear this stock through the Mov. 321 in the MB1B T code. system is not allowing to post the Doc.
Please suggest.

Hello Pravin,
Once you have the inspection type activated for the material. Then you prepare the PO, it will pick the stock type as Quality inspection. Then you deactivate the insp. type in MM will not change the stock type in PO. Hence will post the stock in QI during MIGO as guided by PO.
So as clear solution you should change the stock type manually as Unrestricted use during MIGO, hence you have already deactivated the insp type and wish to not have the lot.
But as you have written the thread i guess you have already posted the MIGOs and they have posted the stock in QI without generating the Lot, correct?
So to resolve it you are attempting the MB1B but, it's not working, correct? Because for movement type 322 MB1B or any other transaction (accept the QM trx e.g. QA11) is not allowed.
To make it allowed, go to trx OMJJ and change do the add MB1B in allowed trx list.
But make sure this must be temp change and rectify it as it is after you complete your requirement, because this solution is 100% violence of STD SAP.
The correct methodology is to cancel all the wrongly posted GRs, and re-post them.

    lXRM storage location is WM activated
    lXA   storage location is not WM activated
    1. create PO
    2.GRN- Quality Inspection
    3 If ok Means Stock is move to lXRM
        If not ok Means Stock is move to lXA.

    The error message "You can only make a complete transfer posting for the quant"  displayed when I Create a TO in LT03 for a Delivery.  While the total available qty = 200, I am only creating TO for qty = 5.
    What settings need to be done to allow partial quatity?

  • Open items can not be cleared FZ326

    Hello,
    I arrived on a project and learnt a former member who left created a huge issue in production. As he deleted a parallel currency depreciation area and the parallel currency type 30 in FI itself, we are currently unable to clear any open item in one company code (Internal error: doc.balance not zero / comp.code 0071 vendor XXXXXXX customer) ==> message FZ326.
    SAP recommends sending a SAP consultant for 2 days to solve the issue (by deleting parallel currency values in open items to be able to clear). So we try to find a solution first.
    I tried reactivating the parallel currency and recreating the dep. area to solve the problem, currently I sent this to simulation environment but now I am facing an issue with IO settlement to AUC.
    The internal order has been settled to AUC without depreciation area 32 (the one for parallel currency). Now if I try to settle the remaining value on the AuC I get message:
    Message no. AAPO104: Data inconsistency: Parallel depr. area is not posted
    On the other hand if I try cancelling the first settlement to create new asset and AuC I get another error:
    Document balance cannot be distributed when settlement is reversed
    Message no. AW751
    So I think I am kind of stuck here !
    Does anyone have a solution at this point (activating depreciation area 32 in AuC and final asset / removing parallel currency values in documents to be able to clear in production / reversing settlement to be able to post to asset with area 32...)

    Your description consists of many things. Probably, I could not correlate the FZ326 error with the ones in Asset accounting.
    However, since you are working in a real-time scenario, possibly you could explain better.
    Nevertheless, check if the transaction type is limited to certain depreciation areas. If there is such a limitation, add the missing depreciation areas for the transaction type. Check if the asset that is being posted manages  all these depreciation areas.
    Some information on the parallel currencies :
    - The par. dep. area must have the same settings as the original area  (e.g. allowing APC).
    - The par. dep. area must set for identical values take over.
    - The par. dep. area must set for identical parameter take over.
    - The par. dep. area must be assigned to the currency type which is defined as parallel in FI.
    - The par. dep. area must be activated in the asset class (TCode OAYZ)
    - If the par. dep. area is a new area in a productive environment the new area must be created for all existings assets in the company code.
    When you follow these steps correctly you will not get error AAPO104 anymore. For more information, please also check SAP note 67688 about activating Depreciation Area.
    The reason for error AW751 could be that the exchange rate table would have been changed since the settlement was run.
    The program expects that there will be the same currency rates in the settlement AND the settlement reversal. The exchange rate table can be seen using transaction OB08.
    To correct the error, to process a reversal for a settlement done earlier in the month with a different exchange rate, the only solution is to change the exchange rate table. It would be possible that a temporary change could be done when no one else is in the system, you can run the reversal and immediately change the table back to the state as before.

  • Why com.sun.CORBA.ORBServerHost can not be cleared after the JVM is closed?

    run an application on a multiple IPs windows box. In order to initialize the ORB on the right IP, i set the com.sun.CORBA.ORBServerHost property at the app startup.
    If the right IP is set, then the software works fine as expected. Btut ionce the wrong IP is set, the software won't work even if I restart it with the right parameter. It looks like the new value just does not take effect.
    And until the box is rebooted, the new parameter will take effect. As per my understanding, this parameter should be set at a JVM level and will be cleared after the JVM is shutdown......
    Have no idea how to fix this issue and even don't know where to start to investigate it?
    Would you please provide any suggestion on it? Thx in advance.

    I had the same problem when I upgraded to snv_114 from snv_98
    on SPARC. The important line in /var/dt/Xerrors is this one:
    could not open default font 'fixed'
    The problem (in my case, anyway) was that the fonts.dir files were
    not updated during the install/upgrade process. This fixed it:
    $ su -
    # cd /usr/X11/lib/X11/fonts
    # for f in *; do cd $f; mkfontdir; cd -; done

  • App World shows update available, but I can not find it

    Hi,
    since I've updated App World to version 3.1.1.21 - I do get on my Home Screen the information, that in App World would by an update available. When I switch to the App World icon, also this is showing me that an update would be available. I open App World and click My World and there is no of my Apps flagged for an update. After that, I leave the App World and the update flage (red asterix) is cleared from the App World Icon, but is still on my Home Screen on the App World Icon.
    When I take out the battery, the Update flag appears again also on the App World Icon.
    Any idea How to find out, why this red asterix on the Home Screen can not be cleared? I've already checked Options->Applications and could not find any updates available for Third Party, Core or Add-On.

    Try to open App World and while in My World open the menu and choose "Refresh List". I'm not sure if this helps, but its worth trying!!

    after i use Response.End() to create a xls/ pdf file, it can not work. the filefox use Post to load the file . But it is nothing to create a xls file. 
    Then, I try to add the RouteTable.Routes.MapPageRoute("File", "{*name.xls}", "~/"); and remove  RouteTable.Routes.Ignore("{resource}.axd/{*pathInfo}");
    it can create the xls file and i can download the xls.　however, all the axd is error 404 not find.

    Diagnosis
    You want to make a stock posting to/from the inspection stock. This is not allowed for material 936317 because the quality inspection control has been activated by QM.
    The following cases can occur:
    The inspection stock should be increased, although an inspection is not foreseen for the current goods movement
    The inspection stock should be released, although  you can only do this using the QM transactions.
    System response
    You cannot carry out the stock posting.
    Procedure
    Check both the QM inspection setup data and the movement type for material 936317 in the quality management view of the material master.
    Exception:
    If you post a return delivery to a vendor with reference to a purchase order, or cancel a goods receipt, the stock indicator from the order is proposed.
    Check and modify this proposal as required.
    The stock may have been transferred already and is therefore no longer in inspection stock.
    Kindly help me to resolve the issue.

    Clear the lot to unrestricted lot
    try now you will be able to do  Transfer posting Quality to Quality within plant ..mov type 323

    we run project MRP and the requirement is raised for subcontracting item also ,after converting the PR into PO when I try to transfer post material in MB1B using 541 ,system shows Error Purchase order does not contain any item even I have  material in my project stock,what may be the reason?

    Hello Kantha,
    The components which you provide for a vendor are manged in a vendor-related special stock, O. This stock is updated at plant level, becuase material is actually not in your plant. If you want to provide stock to vendor the avialble stock types in subcontracting are from un restricted use and in quality inspection.
    When you provide componets to vendor via transfer posting this needs to go from only unrestricted use stock to the stock of material provide to vendor movement type is 541.
    So to execute the transfer posting for the stock of material provided to the vendor, you have to specify special indicator O, if not the transfer posting will not differ from normal transfer posting.
    Also T-code MBLB will help you in evaluating the stock of material provided. So you need to transfer the stock from project stock to unrestricted stock to carry out the transfer.

  • Subcontracting for Sales Order Stock and collective Transfer Posting

    Dear Expert,
    We have a scenario in subcontracting wherein the sales order the customer also wants to see the components and as such along with the Header item of subcontracting ,we also mention the components as another line item in the sane Sales Order.
    Now from the sale sorder two Po's are created onr for the subcontractor and one for the compnens to be procured.
    Since the components are procured on sales order stock there is noway we can issue it to the Vendor stock through Movt .Type 541.
    As per SAP AG WE CAN:
    "ubcontracting is also possible in conjunction with sales order stocks and project stocks. The subcontracting orders are account-assigned to a sales order or a WBS element. Thus, the components are not transferred (using a transfer posting) to the u201Cstock of material provided to vendoru201D but are directly withdrawn from the sales order stock or the project stock at the time of the goods receipt. The material manufactured is also posted to the sales order stock or to the project stock. The cost of subcontracting is then debited to the sales order or WBS element.Since the components are not transferred to the u201Cstock of material provided to vendoru201D, we recommend that you use a transfer posting to transfer the provided components to a new storage location (for example, 9999). This enables you to obtain an overview of those stocks that are physically located at the subcontractor.This information is particularly important when you carry out a physical inventory of the sales order stocks and project stocks."
    But my query is that how many such storage locations will be created for the subcontracting vendors.
    Secondly for the stock transfer from sales to storage location , we have lots of sales order, is dera way through which we can do bulk transfer rathar than clicking at new item everytime and then doing the transfer posting.

    This is a known issue, the system doesnt allow stock to have two special stock statuses at the same time.
    Your concern of having to make multiple storage locations is valid (since this is a configuration).
    I suggest you do the following
    - Configure a warehouse and a single storage type (say 001). Allow mixing of materials in a single bin
    - Assign this warehouse to a new storage location.
    - Create a bin for every sales order number in the warehouse.
    - When goods are moved to subcontractor, perform a transfer posting to the storage location, and perform a putaway to the respective bin. The putaway strategy can be tweaked using a user exit to go to the relevant bin. This way you do not have to enter the WM transaction for putaway.
    - To consume the stocks, you can use 231E movement (MB1A). On the WM side, the picking strategy can be enhanced so that the picking TO is generated with the correct source bin. Make sure the GL account and CO objects are as per FICO requirements.
    This way you can track the stocks binwise (bin level reports are available in WM), perform physical inventory and also consume the stocks from the relevant bin automatically.
    We had faced the same situation, and we ended up not having sales order stock at all.

    Stock transfer is posting denoting the movement of material from plant to plant or storage location to storage location. Here there is a <b>change in stock level</b> in the organisational level.
    Transfer Posting is nothing but change of <b>stock type</b> following are the stock type.
    1. Unrestricted
    2. Quality
    3. Blocked
