Dear Experts,
Dear All, request you to suggest how to find the reserved stock.
As we are devloping one report the stock in hand by using
Stock in Hand= Unrestricted Stock- (Reserved Stock + Receipt Reservation)
Please guide us to find Reserved Stock and Reciept Reservation.

Check in Tables MARD for various Stock of a material and in Table RESB related to reservations.
Check Table S195 for Rcpt.Reservation
At T Code Level you can find it in MMBE.

Stock Transfer Reservation in spite of Purchase Requisition in MRP run

Dear SAP gurus,
We are running MRP heuristic on the PP/DS and we have different results comparing our development and productive environments.
In our productive environment purchase requisitions are generated and in our development environment stock transfer reservations are generated as result of the MRP run.
Where can I check differences of configuration that would be causing this?

I guess I was not clear in my suggestion, I apologize. Differences in T001W between ERP dev and prod will not necessarily generate your problem, differences in sourcing within APO between APO dev and APO prod will generate the differences. I only mentioned the vendor number because a transportation lane can exist 'source plant > destination plant', but also you can have a transportation lane 'vendor of source plant > destination plant' which would also have an impact on the type of req created.
Easier to check the sourcing, //PWBSRC1, mentioned earlier. Your dev system should contain no objects that relate to Stock Transport orders. You can delete the STO sourcing records within that transaction, which will also delete the material assignment to the Transportation lane. Hopefully you will then get the default external supply proposal, which is normally a Purchase req.
Also check for presence of quota arrangements //SCC_TQ1. Delete any that unnecessarily refer to an STO object.

Need to create stock item reservation with account assignment

Hi Gurus,
we are working on EBP 4.0 , extended classic scenario . We have a scenario where we want to create a shopping cart for stock item reservation with account assignment as work order.
but when we try to do it , we are getting following error message
"Unable to create stock reservation for this account assignment."
Any ideas how this can be resolved?

Hi Mangesh,
In reference to the info. you have provided, the issue seems to be with the account assignment category than anything else.What do you mean by Account assignment as work order? Need some clarity in this statement, to help you in this regard.
You can create a cost center (account assignment) P.O and can mention the storage location. The stock will be updated in the storage location where as the FI document will be posted against the cost center.

Do u mean to say, stock transfer reservation is to be created at Plant level while Material has assigned storage loaction MRP area.
If not, please come with simple example sothat we can understand more better and help

Replenishment via Stock Transfer Reservation is possible, you need to maintain data in MRP4 view. Here is defination for Stock Transfer Reservation. But I dont know how to set it.

Use
This procedure shows you how you can stage components for production using stock transfer reservations. It makes sense to use stock transfer reservations if you do not want to carry out direct stock transfer, you do not use KANBAN (you have maintained no supply areas or control cycles) and the issue storage location is not managed using Warehouse Management. Replenishment using stock transfer reservations differs from direct stock transfer in that, for stock transfer reservations, the pull list only creates a reservation for the components required. You carry out the actual stock transfer posting in a separate step.
For a direct stock transfer, the pull list posts the stock transfer immediately. A stock transfer reservation, therefore, provides you with an opportunity to check the actual stock situation more accurately.

Creating stock transfer reservation instead of P.req

Folks,
We have two materials ,both are external procurement and both are the same master data but one materials creating P.req and another materials is creating Stock transfer reservation(category BD) instead of P.reqs,Is there any specific setting which we missed to create P.reqs.
Please through some lights on this.

Change default mvt 311 for stock transfer reservation generated by system

Dear SAPper,
I used storage location '0003' planned seperately in material master MRP4 and set reorder point 100 and replenishment 100 too.
After the stock fall below 100 the system will create stock trasnfer to '0003' the 'from storage location' is still blank. the system used movement type 311
i want to used two step transfer 303 - 305 for this transfer.
of course 303 can not be used to reservation so i create customized mvt type 903 (copy from 303 and modify it)
but something still trouble is when the MRP generate reservation it always use 311 movement tpe
can i customized that when storage location planned seperately stock fall below reorder point, MRP generate resevation transfer with mvt 903 (not standard 311)

hi,
actually there is 2 problems here
1. 303 two step is prohibited for reservation so i create 903 to be used in reservation for two step transfer with reservation
2. reservation is created automatically for storage location plan seperataly if the stock fall below reorder point, this problem is system always use movement type 311 sloc to sloc
i want to used two step sloc to sloc, so the reservation created using 903
can i configure it?

Movement Type and Special Stock in Reservation

Hi,
I had created a Repair Order and via this Repair Order, system automatically created Service Order also.
I had entered a component (Spare Part) in the Service Order. Upon saving System created a Reservation with Movement Type 261 and Special Stock E. As a result, during Service Confirmation, System is looking for Sale Order Stock of the component too. But here, the component will be available in Unrestricted Stock.
How do I get just movement type 261 without the Special Stock indicator in the above scenario ?

Hi Thyagarajan,
The Reservation was for the Subcomponent of the Product that I entered in the 'Component Overview'.
The Component Overview had
Item 000 for the Main Item by default and 'Reservation Relevance/Generation of Purchase Requisition = Never'
Item 0010, I entered the Subcomponent and 'Procurement Type (text) = Reservation for sales order' and 'Reservation Relevance/Generation of Purchase Requisition = Immediately'
Movement Type in the 'Component Detail General Data' is 261 with Special Stock = E in the 'Value flow/Quantity Flow' section.
I do not want E here as the Subcomponent will be consumed from Unrestricted Stock.
Anything that I missed out ?

Safety Stock (o reserved) to a Customer Cluster

Hi Dudes...
I have a need to define in our Stock Levels the next requirement:
1. We have a 2 big Customer type or kind in the Company: Self Services (supermarkets) & Wholesalers
2. In our inventory Model we are considering as follow:
- Reorder Point
- Safety Stock
3. We need to get that when the stock level fall down the safety Stock, this remaining stock stay only to Self services customer and till the replenishment be triggered then, the stock could be again for the 2 kinds of customer.
Is there any setting or customizing ti get this scenario?
This is really important to the company, I'll appreciate your soon support.

Try this note suggestion, possibly help you in resolving your issue.
How to Avoid Getting Safety Stock Replenishment Too Early in an ASCP Plan [ID 301629.1]
In order to line up the safety stock supply with the changes in safety stock, a combination of the profiles must be used:
MSC: Use FIFO Pegging as yes
and the plan option
Peg Supplies by Demand Priority is checked.
The profile MSC: Use FIFO Pegging as yes will perform the following:
For all demands and supplies, it proceeds item by item and
pegs supplies to demands on a daily basis. Daily supplies
and demands are not sorted. When supplies or demands
on a given date are used up, it picks from supplies or
demands on the next date. The unpegged supplies are
pegged to excess.
The peg supplies by demand priority combined with the profile above will prevent the system to plan ahead for safety stock.
Also no safety stock smoothing is setup.
To implement the solution, please execute the following steps:
1. Please set the profile:
MSC: Use FIFO Pegging as yes and
2. Under the plan settings in the main tab the set the following options:
Enable Pegging ON
Peg Supplies by Demand Priority ON

Stock trasfer reservation with movement type 311

Dear APO Experts,
I have plant 1200 and storage location MRP area CA_03 within plant 1200.
When planning, STRs are created and if ciffed to ERP, reservation with movement type 301 is shown.
My question is as follows.
Is it possible to create these reservations in APO with the movement type 311 (sloc to sloc) instead of the movement type 301 (plant to plant).

Hi Lee Seung Won,
To the best of my knowledge it may not work as you are expecting. The basis reason seems to be that SLOC is not treated as SLOC in APO when it is defined as MRP Area. MRP area (SLOC) is treated as Plant (Location) in APO. Hence movement type will be 301 plant to plant & not 311 sloc to sloc

MF60 : Rounding up stock transfer reservation

Dear guru ,
Pull List is used to create reservation for the missing quantity of materials for producing a product.
The system purposed the exact missing quantity to transfer from a storage location to another.
Can I automatic rounding up this quantity to a minimum quantity ?

Is it ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY to activate the user exit in order to get Round Up Replenishment Proposals to function? I would prefer not to activate this user exit if possible (due to temporary limited ABAP resources in my company).

Reserve stock in availability check

Dear Gurus
I have one requirement. I have searched forum but I didn't get anything which helps me.
I have a material A with 5 quantity in storage location 1064. When I create sale order of this material with 3 quantity system reserves this stock against this sale order.It will remain reserve until i reject this order. Thee are many open sale orders against which stock is reserved. I have to find out orders with VA05 and reject them. If i create new order of same material with 3 quantity system will only confirm 2.
My requirement is that when i press availability check button system should only check available stock, no stock reserve. When i create delivery system should copy available stock. In short there must be only availability check, No stock reservation.

If this is your requirement you go to OVZ9 in that just flag the iinclude sales requirements in the in/out movements.

Reserving the sales order stock for a customer

Hello SAP gurus !!
My client is wants to Reserve the stocks once the order is placed or confirmed by the Customers.
For Example; --
If 10 c/s are available in the plant and a customer has ordered 10 c/s... next time .. if someone is creating order for the same Material, system should not confirme sales Order as this particular stock has already booked by the customer.
Can we MAP this scanario in creating DUMMY sales order??
I have also tried to move the sales order stock to Reserved Stock by creating Reservations (Tcode MB21) using movement type 412 E.
but i m not sure whether i m on the right way or wrong??
Please help me on this particular issue. Points will be rewarded for Helpful answers.

Actually we have started this particular issue with Product Allocation only.... but the problem with product allocation is : you can not reserve/block the stocks even if it has been allocated to other customers.
If some other user is creating the sales Order for some other customer, system will confirm and you can do the delivery also.
Basically Client want to first allocate( here allocation could be through creation of Dummy Sales Order also) then also want to BLOCK /RESERVE for those customers... so that nobody should be allowed to use those Stocks.
We have Already tried with:--
1. Product Allocation
2. OVZ9 ( checking Group 02/ Sales Order Combination)
3. MB21 ( creating Reservation with Movement Type 412 E)
4. Consignment Process
& some other Options but exact requirement has not been met.
Now we are trying to solve this Issue using some scenarios Other than Prod Alloc.
I hope i have clearly explained the requirement still you have any doubts, please revert back.

Reservations are not creating for a stock item PO

Hi All,
I have an issue with reservations for a stock material PO,
Our's is extended classic scenario(BBP 3.0 & R/3 4.7), I have created a cart and approved the cart for a stock materials.
As per business process, for a stock materials reservations are to be created but here after cart approval, under follow on documents tab, I am not getting any reservation details except shoopping cart number and its approval status.
Can any one have idea on it?

Hi. Reservations are not supported in extended classic.
Or at least they were not when I last asked SAP about 3 years ago.
Unless something has changed the only solution was to use the BADI BBP_EXTLOCALPO_BADI to deactivate extended classic if it is an item you want a reservation for.
You would then end up using the classic scenario for these reservation items only.

Which table holds the reserved stock

Hi All,
In report - MMBE there are two columns unrestricted stock and reserved stock. Can you kindly share how this reserved stock is calculated which table/field holds the reserved stock. If I run the MMBE report now if it is determining the reserved stock assuming it comes from RESB which holds reservations what field in RESB gives me the reserved stock and how many days or what logic does MMBE use to calculate the reserved stock.
