    Hi Dear,
Use T . Code u2013 OMBT, then go to change interval , then go to edit > insert year (f6) and mention in year 9999 and choose the number range interval from number to number and mention in current number is 0 and save exit.
    Hope it helps you.

  • Error in creation of stock thro Tcode MB1C

    Hi,
while  creation of stock thro  Tcode MB1C i got the error posting period mentioned as 12/2002 to 11/2002.
I tried using Tcode OMSY to update my company's period and year as current year but it is grayad out.
    Please advise
    Regards
    Ramya

    Hi,
OMSY setting is used only for once & for all to fix up the Initial Period and Year for a company code for material management. After setting in OMSY, nobody should touch this setting.
Now 1st check in MM side in MMRV t.code which period open for your company code & back posting allowed or not. If period 11 & 12 not open, you can open in t.code MMPV
And also check in FI Side in t.code OB52 which period is open for in all Account Types A, K, D,M, S and specially Account Type u201C+u201D which stands for valid for all accounts types . If periods 11 & 12 not open, you can open for all account types.
    Note:
    Check your fiscal year variant for your company code in OBY6 t.code. If it is K4 , then open periods {Period start from January(01) & end in December(12)}. If it is V3 , then your periods {Period start from April(01) & end in March (12)}

  • Initial entry of stock (561) using MB1C

    Hi all
Can someone help me understand how to create initial entry of stock using references.
I see there are options to create "To purchase order", "To Reservation", etc. Do they mean that we can create initial entry with reference to purchase order?
Also there is option to create with reference to Material document. What kind of Material documents can be used as reference?
    Thanks in advance
    Regards
    Mui

    Hi,
All this options are for other goods receipts means without reference to purchase order.
otions are To Reservation, To Order. This order means not Purchase order i.e Production Order or Internal Order.
Initial entry are used to Upload the stock at initial stage i.e at the time of Cutover strategy,we uploading the initial stock which is present at plant at SAP system and after that only we process the normal transaction like PO, MIGO..

  • Posting stocks initially before golive

    hi experts
can any one pls tell me how to upload the material stocks in step wise for 15thousand materials (cut off stratergy) initially before go live and how to take negitive stocks in consideration.

    Hi
you can upload the materials by creating a LSMW with MB1C for 561, 563 & 565 movements.
Please avoid uploading negative stocks. Resolve issues pertaining to negative stocks in legacy system itself.

  • Data Migration Q stock - Initial Stock entry

    Hi all
I am in a upgrade project and i want to clarify how to migrate Q stock. When i tried MB1C mov type 563 (Initial entry) it's not allowing me as the QM is active for the material. The material which iam trying to migrate has the stock category Q and the inspection lot. What is the solution for migrating Q stock.
    Appreciate all suggestions.
    Thanks a lot.

You have to migrate inspection lots to make it happen.
I usually do a workaround and post it either to unrestricted or to blocked stock, based on talks done with Quality folks. if I post to blocked, then when the inspection is done, the user can post from blocked to unrestricted. Or if I load to unresticted, then Quality people can post the stock to Quality status in Q-Module.
But I had never more than 10 to 20 cases in my various migrations. so it was not worth to create a program for that.
563 is used for the MM inspection stock , not for the cases where QM is implemented.

  • About stock initializing and PGI

thanks every body for giving suggestion and i rewarded
          1. yes i closed 2007/8 and 2007/7 period using MMPV
          2. system date is todays date.
and i have created new comp code ABC in IDES. but for company code 0001 or 1000 there is no problem while initializing stock. well is there might be a problem in controlling point of view? pls suggest any solution
    will reward

    Hi KP,
In MMRV, check if it says current period is 09/2007, then you can't do anything lse but wait till next month. If current period is 08/2007, then check for settings again in OMS2, OB52....
I hope you got what I mean

  • Opening Stock - Initial quantities

    Dear All,
Opening balances are entered for BP, G/L Accounts and Banks.   But the initial quantities are not entered for inventory only the total inventory value updated to G/L account "Raw Materials" or "Stock".   Now the client wants to put the initial quantities into B1.  How to work on this scenario?
    Thanks
    SV Reddy

    Hi
As i said in above reply it was a probs bcoz if u upload the inventory with Zero value then the ITem cost will be zero, cal. of GP also probs, here i think we cant use the inventory revaluation aslo if u do the inventory Rev. again the acc. entry will be used....
I am not having any idea to overcome this issue, first why u have aggreed to your client for doing this.....
Let see the other Experts Views in this, Better i think u have to upload all the balances once in New DB it will be gud.. i think so

    Dear Brian
When you are carrying out the MB1C Txn, system document for account ing for the current is not existing, so you are getting this error.
Use FBN1 you will bet the screen Number Ranges for accounting Documents enter Your company code here "XXXX" then click the Intervals  push button,  you will go to the screen maintain number range Intervals ,  Check for 49 serial number whether you are having a number range for the current period if not then use the Insert Interval + button and enter 49 ,Year and the from  & to number ranges. You can repeat the last years no. range in the current year also.
