  • Can't download music - seems to be an iTunes Match problem

    I have iTunes Match activated, which is working fine on my iPad and iPhone.  However I cannot download purchased music onto the iMac.
    In my household there is a shared iMac and each user has a different login & password.  Only I know my login password.  I have been using iTunes successfully on it for years, and have been using iTunes successfully for about 6 months now.  Auto-download has been disabled for several months now because I don't want everything downloaded automatically.  All has been fine until about a fortnight ago when the iMac stopped downloading newly purchased music whenever I clicked the little iCloud icon.  This is for music that I have successfully purchased and downloaded on my iPhone whilst at work, and now want to listen to at home.  Whenever I click the iCloud icon to download the new song I get an error message telling me that the computer is already associated with an Apple ID, and I have to wait 54 days etc to sign in with a new Apple ID.  However I'm certain no other Apple ID has been used with my account - when I go to the Store menu it is showing my current and correct Apple ID.
    The most telling proof that my Apple ID is correct on both iMac and iPhone (and iPad as well) is that when I plug the iPhone into the iMac, the new music syncs across EXACTLY as it should - and it can then be played without problems.  Both the phone and the computer are correctly logged in to the same Apple ID, which is the same Apple ID that I use for iTunes Match.  Also when I click Store -> Update iTunes Match there appears to be no Apple ID conflict.
    Obviously this is an iTunes Match problem which I cannot resolve, can someone please provide assistance / advice.
    (iPhone 4 with iOS 6, iMac mid 2010 with Mountain Lion 10.8.2, single Apple ID for iTunes Store, iTunes Match and iCloud).

  • Photosmart printer D110A CN732A How do I solve a port match problem?

    operating system: windows 7
    Error message: port match
    Any changes made to your system before the issue: No
    When I go to print something It tells me it's printing, but then never does. The explanation is always just the simple "error". I've used troubleshoot, re-started everything and ran the diagnostic test which told me it was a port match problem. My printer will still copy.

    Hi there,
    Try downloading and running the print and scan doctor located here:
    http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?docname=c03275041&cc=us&dlc=en&lc=en
    It can fix a lot on its own and if not give a better idea of what is going on.
    Best of Luck!

  • QM/MM - STOCK TYPE PROBLEM - Pharmaceutical Industry

    In January 2005 we changed the material master 220072 to deactivate inspection set up for inspection type 01-05-08 and to change the QM control Key from Z0002 to 0001.
    The characteristic BC_USAGE_USAGE_DECISION of the relevant material batch class (ZBC_220072) has been updated accordingly to RELEASED.
    This workaround allows inbounding the material directly into unrestricted.
    Since the Scheduling Agreement/purchase master data wasn't updated, the stock of the first inbound after this change just received was posted in S (blocked stock).
    WM operator did the reverse of good issue.
    Purchasing data maintainer updated the  QM Control KEY to 0001. (Purchase Document IP00000012).
    WM operator inbound the batch again but the batch has been posted in S too.
    Scheduling Agreement was created on 30-Jul-2003; with relevant line item added on 25-Aug-2003 - it looks as though it is not reading the updated material master data.
    Is there a solution?  Which data must be changed to resolve the problem?

    Question not answered; workaround accepted by business.

  • SMS Provider Locations Do Not Match - Problem installing SCCM 2012 R2 CU4

    I have an SCCM 2012R2 CU1 site that has been upgraded from SCCM 2012 non-SP1, so I have gone from 2012 to 2012SP1 through CU5 and then to R2 and then to CU1.
    Over the course of the life of this site, which has more than 10k clients and 10 Site Systems, we have installed roles, removed roles, moved roles and removed Site Systems.
    I have also installed and removed SMS providers . . . which is where my issues begin.
    The site properties in the console list 6 SMS Providers and even lists an SMS provider on a server that was retired and is no longer a Site System.  When I query WMI using the following VBS script it only returns the *ACTUAL* SMS Provider locations,
    2 of the 6 listed in the GUI.
    On Error Resume Next
    Const ForReading = 1, ForWriting = 2, ForAppending = 8
    strComputer = "."
    Set oFS = CreateObject("Scripting.FileSystemObject")
    Set objWMIService = GetObject("winmgmts:\\" & strComputer & "\root\sms")
    If Err.Number <> 0 Then
    WScript.Echo "Cannot connect to WMI"
    WScript.Echo vbTab & "Error " & Err.Number & " - " & Err.Description
    End If
    Set oLog = oFS.OpenTextFile("C:\Temp\SMS_ProvList.log",ForAppending, True)
    If Err.Number <> 0 Then
    WScript.Echo "Could not create output file"
    WScript.Echo vbTab & "Error " & Err.Number & " - " & Err.Description
    End If
    Set colItems = objWMIService.ExecQuery("SELECT * FROM SMS_ProviderLocation",,48)
    count = 0
    For Each objItem in colItems
        count = count + 1
        oLog.WriteLine "-----------------------------------"
        oLog.WriteLine Now()
        oLog.WriteLine "Provider instance " & count &  " : " & objItem.Machine
        oLog.WriteLine "NamespacePath : " & objItem.NamespacePath
        oLog.WriteLine ""
    Next
    I have a test environment which has also gone through some growth over its lifetime and has had the same changes to SMS Providers made.  When I first attempted to install SCCM 2012 R2 CU4 in this test environment the installer continually failed the
    prerequisite checker when querying the CU level of the SMS Providers.  The only way that I could get past that issue was by running a site maintenance task via the CM installer and installing an SMS Provider at the location that had previously been an
    SMS Provider but I had uninstalled that role.
    I do not want to have to do that in my production environment, and would not even be able to do so if I wanted as I have retired one of the servers listed and cannot re-provision that machine.
    Any CM12 gurus out there with suggestions?  This strikes me as a standard MS problem when having multiple development teams working on a product/update and not having a standard location to check for configuration information (This is exactly the problem
    when configuring DNS suffixes via GPO and not manually setting the GUI to match).
    Thanks!
    Josh Gerner
    Cornell University.

    The issue I have is that I cannot find the WMI class that holds the SMS Providers that are returned by the GUI.
    I actually engaged MS Premier for a SCCM 2012 RAAS about 2 years ago and that was when the discrepancy first reared it's head.  The support person that I worked with couldn't give me a way of cleaning those entries at that point which is when I started
    logging the locations to be sure that my maintenance task was really installing or removing the SMS Providers.

  • ITunes Match problems with new PC

    I have around 25,000 songs that were mostly matched, some uploaded, when I first signed up for iCloud on my previous laptop (64 bit Windows 7 Pro). My iTunes library resided on an external USB drive and iCloud/iTunes Match was mostly working, though I still had some problems with duplicate songs that I had hoped iTunes Match would be smart enough to help me eliminate (it's not). Duplicates came mostly from several earlier attempts to move and clean up my iTunes library, but that's another story...
    Anyway, I got a new laptop (previous one died, hard disk failed), on which I installed iTunes, which I set up with the same external hard drive holding the iTunes library. So the music files were the same. Had to import all the songs from the hard drive which was set up to hold my iTunes Library. The trouble is, iTunes Match apparently thinks I am trying to add 25,000 more songs, when in fact they are the same songs as before. How can I tell it this? When I run iTunes match it says I already have the maximum 25,000 songs, and all the songs in iTunes show up as an error. I can't delete them from iCloud because I can't see them in iTunes! The other laptop is gone. There is apparently no independent way to access iCloud-based music except through iTunes.
    I just realized that this is probably the problem: since the previous laptop hard drive died, whatever secret info Apple stores to identify it as authorized for my iTunes account was lost, and I had no chance to deauthorize it. So it thinks I am trying to match a new set of 25,000 songs (though these are almost all the same songs as before, so I would think iTunes Match could figure this out, but I guess not). I decided to deauthorize all 5 PC's on my account - but I can't do this until March 13, 2013, because I apparently did this last March, no doubt to solve another iTunes problem (seems to happen at least once a year that something in iTunes gets screwed up).
    I sent Apple a request to deauthorize the dead PC (or all of them if they will), but does anyone have any alternate suggestions? I would like to be able to remove non-needed and/or duplicate songs from iCloud, and apparently the only way to do this is to delete them from iTunes (locally), in which case you are supposed to get a prompt to remove from iCloud or not. But all my songs are flagged as "error" in the iCloud status column, so I have no way to see or modify what's out there, since the associated PC is dead.
    I also have most of these ~25K songs on Google Music and in Amazon Cloud. So I'm considering just dumping iCloud and using iTunes locally only (though I'm afraid if I do that it will delete all my local iTunes songs - guess I would have to reinstall from a backup in that case). When iTunes Match works, it's very nice and automatic and convenient since I listen to music on iPod Touch, iPhone, and iPad (yes, I drank Steve's Kool-ade). But as with many things Apple, when it DOESN'T work, it makes you want to slit your wrists. LOL (not).
    Thanks,for any advice.
    -Bruce

    Thanks bmw249. I have good news and bad news. Good news: Apple very quickly deauthorized my computers so I was able to drop the lost computer that was taking up a slot and (I suspected) confusing iTunes Match.
    The bad news is that this didn't make any difference. Nearly all the songs in my iTunes library have an iCloud status of "error" and when I turn on iTunes Match, it churns for a while before telling me that I already have 25,000 songs in the cloud and can't add any more. What I expected is for it to recognize that most of the 25K songs are the very same ones sitting in this local iTunes library. It should be substantially fewer than 25K because I also deleted 1000+ classical music pieces that I have sitting in Amazon Cloud, in hopes of freeing up space for my recently purchased and created music to be uploaded to iCloud. But no dice.
    I am now downloading ~800 songs that iTunes thinks I have only on iCloud. I then plan to figure out how to deactivate iCloud and iTunes Match on this PC so that nothing will be deleted locally when I cancel my iCloud account (it runs out in March 2013 but I assume I can cancel and deactivate the account sooner). The "convenience" of this service isn't worth the many dozens of hours of hours I have spent trying to get it to work the way Apple says it works. Amazon Cloud (also costing ~$25 a year) has a limit of something like 20 GB and no specific limit on number of songs. I buy most music there anyway and have already uploaded most of the rest, so this makes the most sense. I really like the way iTunes Match can (in theory) keep all my music sync'd and smoothly stream to my iPhone even over 3G. Amazon Cloud takes a bit more effort but does much the same thing.
    Thanks for listening. I'm assuming this is a "moderated" forum and that this post will soon be removed for my Amazon comments.

  • Itunes Match problem

    I subscribed to Itunes Match and went through the procedure for getting it started. Information from my library was gathered okay but the process of matching my music with the Itunes store kept hanging up. I stopped and restarted the process several tmes and each time it got closer to the end before hanging again. However the process finally gave up the ghost when it got to the last track in my library and I could not get it re-started. Any suggestions as to how I overcome this problem?

    Thank you for your suggestion. I checked all +-6500 tracks and found one track with "error" as its status. I tried to delete it but could not as the delete command on right click did not work. However when I highlighted the item and right clicked it, one of the options was to check status with store which I did and the status then changed to "waiting". Notwithstanding all this, the match process still hangs up on the last item.
    Any other suggestions?

  • XSLT transformation: tamplate match="*" problem

    Hi everybody,
    I have some stupid problem with XSLT transformations. I use XALAN-J 2.7 to transform xml files. My xslt transformation can be downloaded from http://tesla.rcub.bg.ac.yu/~sing/xsd2rdf.xslt
    Problem is when I have in xslt file template defined with (match="*") it does not work. Transformation does not throw any exceptions; it just does not match nodes very well.
    Next XML schema can be used as test. So, if you transform this file(schema below) using e.g. XML Spy it will work fine, but if you transform it using JAVA it does not match all nodes. Any suggestions are welcome. Is it problem with XPath standard and XALAN implementation or what???

  • ITunes Match problem with accessing all my songs on all my IOS devises

    Why are some of my iTunes purchased songs not able to be synced with iTunes match? I can access the songs on my iMac but not on my iPhone. I'm not happy about this and I'm thinking I made a terrible mistake buying iTunes Match

    Cause you data got corrupted during either upload, matching process or download. Most likely first two, since you already tried to download to ipad as well.  Decision to use or not use match is up to you.
    Good bye.

  • ITunes Match problem with Mastered for iTunes tracks

    My question is, has anyone solved the problem I'm describing here?
    My wife bought an album (David Bowie, The Next Day, it's great), as a Mastered for iTunes album, under her Apple ID. I copied the album to my computer using Home Sharing. My computer is authorized with both of our Apple IDs.
    I have iTunes Match activated on my Apple ID. This album uploaded - didn't match - to iTunes. I assume that this is because Apple is trying to keep people from getting the Mastered for iTunes version of things and refuses to match that version if it's not already associated with the Apple ID. This seems silly, but so be it.
    Now I try to listen on an iOS device and see more strange behavior:
    - The uploaded tracks stream fine, but
    - They will not download. No matter what network I'm on, no matter the time of day, there's always an error in downloading them.
    I'd be interested to know if anyone has any insight into what's going on; how to get around it; or just if you've seen the same.

    Scott Shuchart wrote:
    So I infer that - to keep the "no free upgrades to Mastered for iTunes" policy with the technical limitation that iTunes cannot perfectly match to the same master - it has a policy not to match to Mastered for iTunes unless the track was purchased with the right Apple ID. This seems like a silly but obvious solution to those two constraints. No?
    No, there is no such policy. I know this because I was recently able to get Eric Clapton's new album Old Sock matched to the Mastered for iTunes version. All the downloaded tracks have the logo on them. Same goes for the matched AC/DC tracks I have downoaded. All are Mastered for iTunes. These are my rips from CD which were matched.
    This is completely different from if someone has an album that was previously bought from the iTunes Store, such as Elton John's Goodbye Yellow Brick Road, which then gets re-released in a remastered version (Mastered for ITunes). Of course we don't get a free upgrade to that version. We have to buy it if we want it. It is just as if you bought the album on CD, then a remastered version is released. You have to buy the CD again.
    As you are talking about an iTunes Store purchase, of course you can't re-rip it, since it was never ripped from CD in the first place. But you might want to read the iTS TOS which can be read here: http://www.apple.com/legal/itunes/us/terms.html
    But, to get back to the original question, this does seem to be an issue with this particular album for whatever reason.

  • Pattern Matching problems

    Hi people,
    I'm having a slight problem with pattern matching. What I need to do is find if my pattern is a given string an return the end index.
    Here's my string:
    <TD>Some text</TD>
    I need to find everything between the 2 anchor tags. (In this case "Some text"). The query string parameters are the only thing that can change.
    Here's what I've tried:
    Pattern pattern = Pattern.compile("<a href=\"/cgi-bin/dir/program.cgi?PARAM1=[0-9]&PARAM2=[0-9]*\"onmouseover=\"window.status='';return true;\">");
    Matcher matcher = pattern.matcher(myString);
    if ( matcher.find() ) {
       System.out.println(matcher.end());
       System.out.println(myString.substring(matcher.end(), myString.toLowerCase().indexOf("</a>",matcher.end())));
    }Of course I've tried a lot of other things. I've also googled to try to find some examples but to no avail.
    Thanks for any help.

    Just change your Patterne. It will work. The '?' character is being considered as a pattern matching character, while you want it as it is. Use \\ before '?' character.
    Pattern pattern = Pattern.compile("<a href=\"/cgi-bin/dir/program.cgi\\?PARAM1=[0-9]&PARAM2=[0-9]*\"onmouseover=\"window.status='';return true;\">");
    Hope it helps.

  • Colour matching problems photoshop to windows picture viewer.

    Hi, Im having trouble colour matching photoshop to windows picture/fax viewer. The colours in windows (as many people have said before) are a lot more saturated.
    Im using an EIZO CG222W and Photoshop CS2, colour balanced with an Eye-One Display.
    The prints returns from photographic labs match what is displayed in photoshop perfectly though obviously not in windows.
    I know windows is not colour balanced but I thought there would be little difference as we are also using another EIZO monitor and a IIYAMA monitor and these have no problems switching between photoshop and windows though they are both also colour balanced with the eye-one.
    This applies to ALL windows applications... all colours in Internet explorer etc are over saturated as well.
    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!
    I did think of that as the reason, although I was a bit confused as like i said, we are also using another EIZO monitor which has a perfect balance between photoshop and windows yet I've checked all the setting between the two monitors which are the same.
    It's an older eizo so it may just be this new one has a wider gamut.
    Thanks for your help. I'll look into sRGB restrictions on windows and see if that works.

  • Newbie - Maybe a Font Match Problem?

    Hi guys,
    It´s me again...sending an image to explain the problem better.
    http://www.pixentral.com/show.php?picture=1rgPH51KBCynqFffB8N7nWQ8IXNy0
    The report´s font is Helvetica Neue (a postcript type) however the Character right shows me Helvetica T1 (true type, i guess) and inside a brackets like the found is not active. I dunno why, because i did deactivate ALL Helvetica fonts and only activate the Postcript they sent me. It is like the report does not find the right font....is it? or InDesign replace it for a similar match. I have to use the same font because other collegues are using the postscript font as well.
    Maybe is something quite easy to solve. I wouldn´t like to change one by one.
    Thanks and cheers,
    Sebastiao

    [OT] = OpenType
    [TT] = TrueType
    [T1] = Type 1/Postscript
    The font it is looking for is your Postscript Helvetica Neue Font Family, using a font face named 55 Roman.
    Verify you have the correct font family and font face active.
    Does the font show up as missing (yellow triangle) in the Find Fonts dialog? That should be an easy way to correct it throughout the document.

  • Epson Stylus 820 Print Image Matching Problem

    I've recently upgraded my system to the OS 10.4.10 and am having a problem with my printer. It will not recognize the PIM II from my Photoshop or for that matter any other application. Printing Colors are no longer matching? When I was using the 10.3, PIM II was working great but with the upgrade it's not.
    I find that the 10.4.10 is using an Epson Stylus Photo 820 Gimp Print V5.0.0 Beta driver. Epson unfortunately does not offer a driver specifically for this printer for my system and I believe this may be the problem.
    Can anyone shed some light on the for me...
    Sure would appreciate some advice and input..
    Thanks,
    Ron

    I also upgrade my G4 to Leopard and now seem to have lost the printer utility that came with the Epson 820. I reinstalled from the CD and I still can't find it in my applications folder. I had it right on my dock before the upgrade and then it had a Question mark in it's place after the Leopard upgrade.
    The reinstall seem to do nothing and now I can't check my ink levels or clean heads or any of that.
    What's up? I guess time for a new printer eh?

  • DAO No match problem

    Hi, I have a main form with a button to open a second form to add details etc. The Second form opens to display member details which works fine when there is a record already (in the second form) but I am having a problem with it opening up for the initial
    entry. It is trying to match the memberID's but of course if I haven't yet added one there is no match. I have the code I have done below and am wondering if anyone can help me with some code to add in when there is no match? i.e. first record
    Dim rs As DAO.Recordset
    Set rs = CurrentDb.OpenRecordset("select * from tblMemberDetail where MemberIDS = " & Forms!frmMemberform!MemberID & ";")
    With rs
       Me.txtMemberIDS = !MemberIDS
       Me.txtMemberNo = !MemberNo
       Me.txtChristianNm = !ChristianNm
       Me.txtSurname = !Surname
       Me.txtDOB = !DOB
       Me.txtAddr = !Addr
       Me.cboSurb = !Surb
       Me.txtCity = !City
       Me.txtPhone = !Phone
       Me.txtFax = !Fax
       Me.txtMobile = !Mobile
       Me.txtNotes = !Notes
       Me.cboStatus = !Status
    End With
    rs.Close
    Set rs = Nothing
    End Sub

    This doesn't make a lot of sense.  As you are grabbing a MemberID from the first form there must exist a row in whatever table models the Members entity type.  This does not appear to be the tblMemberDetail table however, as that appears to have
    a key named MemberIDS.  The implication therefore is that two tables are modelling the same entity type.
    This would be a valid scenario if the first table were modelling a wider population of type People say, of which the Members entity type is a sub-type, but the fact that the key of the first table is MemberID suggests that this is not the case, and it is modelling
    the same entity type.  Even if it were the case that a type/sub-type scenario is being modelled, most, if not all, of the the tblMemberDetail columns which you list would be attributes of the (super) type as these would be attributes common to all sub-types,
    not of the specific sub-type, so should not be represented by columns in tblMemberDetail  at all, which, in addition to the foreign key referencing the first table (which would also be its primary key of course), but only by columns in the first table.
    If you are modelling a single entity type Members, which seems to be the case, and you wish to  enter basic details in one form, e.g. their membership number and/or first and last names,  and then additional details in another unbound form then you
    should have a single table which contains all the columns which represent attributes of members.  Having entered a row in the first form with these details you can then open the second unbound form in the way you are doing, and establish a recordset object
    based on the same table, restricted on the MemberID from the first form.  Ensure that the first form's current record is first saved by setting its Dirty property to False if it's a bound form, or inserting or updating a row in the table with an SQL statement,
    or by means of some DAO code, if it's an unbound form.  You can then be assured that the recordset you establish in your code in the second form's module will not be empty.  Having entered values into the unbound controls in the second form you will
    then need to insert these into the relevant row in the table by executing an SQL INSERT INTO statement, or by means of some DAO code.
    I would comment, however, that such an approach does prejudice the integrity of the database in that it forces you to allow Nulls in all columns in the table bar those inserted via the first form.
    One other point to which I'd draw your attention is that your table is currently not normalized to Third Normal Form (3NF) as City is transitively dependant on the key via Surb, which I assume to represent a suburb.  This leaves it open to the risk of
    update anomalies.  The table should be decomposed by the creation of a Suburbs table which includes a foreign key referencing the primary key CityID of a Cities table (not the city name as these can legitimately be duplicated, so are unsuitable as a key).
    If necessary, for each city which does not have suburbs there should be a row in Suburbs with a value N/A or similar in a non-key Suburb column.   Your referencing table will now contain a SuburbID or similar foreign key and no City column.
    This is a very common situation in international databases for instance, where it is necessary to map a city to a country via internal regions such as states or counties, where very small countries do not have any regional structure.
