Stock mismatch in plant during PGI

I have a scenario wherein i have 990 quantity in unrestricted stock of my plant. I create an outbound delivery for 990qty from this plant. so now there is no stock in the unrestirted use for this material . But when i create another STO, create delivery for 100 qty and try to specify batch, an error occurs in VL02n that there is 73 kg of stock available and if i change the stock to 73 the error is gone. But i can't specify batch since i do not see any available stock. please help.

Hi,
Charu if your material is not batch managed it may be split valuated and
73kgs may be with different valuation type
Please check and confirm

  • Stock Transfer Order Error during PGI in VL02n

    Hi Experts

  • Stock Mismatch at Plant level and Serial Number Collection

    Hi,
I'm working on with the material stocks in my application. For the serialised material (MATNR = 50004050), I'm gettting the plant level stock as 20 and the corresponding serial numbers collection for the same material is 27 which is wrong. Since the plant level stock and the serial number collection should be one and the same
I'm using MARA, MARC table for getting the plant level stock and EQUI and EQBS table to get the serial number collection. If I increase the stock using the transaction 'MB1C' and movement type '561', the serial numbers which I'm giving for the serialised material is coming in the serial number collection but the plant level stock still in the previous value itself. If I raise the stock for the serialised material, the plant level stock also should get updated.
Please let me know, how can I get the stock equal in both plant and serial number collection.
    Thanks in Advance,
    Mohan.

This could happen, if the status of serial number is wrongly updated to ESTO. From where are you taking serial numbers?Physically what is right the qty showing plant stock or the qty showing serial number? May be you go and check the history of the serial number to see if it is really available in stock.
Also it can be serial number is optional so though the stock is reduced but serial number is not captured while issuing so the stock at plant level is less but serial number is more,
If this is the case, reconciallation directly from tables will be difficult.

  • Sales order stock does not exist error during PGI

    dear sir,
we have two plants 1010 and 1020,we are using variant configuration for our finished goods
we want to make the sales orders in 1010 plant and we manufacture the machine in 1020 plant.
so we want to dispatch machine from 1020 plant (shipping point),eventhough we make sale order in 1010 plant.
but while doing PGI ,system shows one error message "Sales order stock does not exist" message 184,area M7.
if we see in MMBE stock of finished good is available in 1020(made 412 E movement)
    how to resolve this
    thanks and regards
    srinivas pai

There can be two reasons for these kind of error
    - Your sales doc while creating this order & your item category is marked with special stock indicator as E and after this order is created you have not reserved stocks in your plant against this order. This reservation can be done in tcode MB1B movement type 412 E.
    - Let say, if it is reserved then check the same in tcode MMBE stocks reserved for your sales order.
Otherwise reservation you may have done properly with correct movement types with special stock indicator E. But while creating the your sales order with item category may not have been marked with special stock indicator E. In this case even though the system has stocks reserved for that order and that order when comes for PGI system doesn't sense.
In either of the case, you have to again do the process.
    Hope it can assist you.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Stock Transport from plant to MRP Area

I have been looking for explanation on how to handle replenishment of MRP area storage location stocks within a plant.   We use Special procurement types but they are set up on for plants, not MRP areas.  Can anyone explain how this works and the configuration to make it work?   Were setting up a warehouse as an MRP area and need to replenish its stocks with MRP.

Aren't your questions answered in SAP online help?
    Integration
The process is the same as for Storage Location MRP. In contrast to the storage location MRP, you can use all MRP procedures and are not limited to the reorder point planning procedure.
    Prerequisites
In Customizing for MRP, you have created the special procurement key for Stock transfer from plant to MRP area for the plant in which the MRP area is located. You have defined the following parameters:
    - Procurement type: F for External procurement
    - Special procurement: U for Stock transfer
    - Plant: Number of plant, to which the MRP area belongs.
In the material master, you have created the MRP area segment and assigned the special procurement key Stock transfer from plant to MRP area.
    Features
During MRP, the system generates a stock transfer reservation for the material in the MRP area and a material reservation in the plant MRP area.
The external procurement storage location that you have entered in the MRP area segment of the material master is used as the receiving storage location. If you have not maintained this field, the system uses the receiving storage location that you entered for the MRP area in Customizing.
The actual procurement is processed by the plant. With stock transfer to the MRP area, you carry out the transfer posting for the material with reference to the reservation.
Standard procurement key 45 is for that purpose: plant: 1000 (V460A-WERKS), procurement key F; special procurement: U; plant: 1000 (V460A-WRK02).
So, in both fields you have to write the same plant as it is clearly written in SAP onilne help.
As SAP help says: a Stock transfer reservation is created. Using MIGO (A08; R09) you can post the goods movement by mvt 311 with reference to the Stock transfer reservation (MB1A is also good).
Why don't you test in in your sandbox system and you will see how it works.
(If you want to use STO (purchasing document type UB) in this process you have to go trough OSS note 599915)

  • Transfering Subcon stocks to Other Plant of same vendor

    HI i need your help.
We are transfering to a new company code, new plant.
On old plant we have materials issued to vendor for subcon.
Is there a way to transfer those stocks to other plant of same vendor?
Can you also help me on this process (subcon)
to send the materials in vendor i have to create subcon PO first,
then transfer the materials of the assembly to vendor using what tcode and what movement type?
    Im new to this..
    regards,
    Najah

    Hello
Here both Plant are under same company code, no need to configure the clearing accounts.
    During transfer posting ,
The inventory value of the plant (valaution area) Transaction event BSX will be reduced and same will posted in the stock account BSX of the other plant.
    Entries will be :
    Example
                            Valuation class          Value     G/L account
    Plant 1   BSX              3000                 -XXXX    300000
    Plant 2   BSX              3000                 +XXXX   300000
If both plants are in different company codes, then clearing accounts will comes into picture when you transfer post with 301 'O'.
    Warm regards

  • Movemen tye for stock against SO (Unrestricted) during Sales return deliver

    Hi,
I wanted to trasfer stock against sales order (unrestricted) during PGI of Sales return deliver.
Currently we are using Movement type-653 but it transfer stock to unrestricted location which we want to take against sales order-unrestricted.
Please suggest movement type for same or do we need to create new movement type for same.?
    BR,
    Ajit raut

As per my opinion , it is not possible.First you have to put the Stock in Unrestricted use then you can assign it to any Sales Order.
It can come in Sales order - Unrestricted Only when in Your Sales Cycle - Returns , you create a Returns Order wrt any Sales Order which is not Possible.
So better to do the PGR and then assign the stock with a new Sales Order.
    Best Regards,

  • Transaction GBB during pgi vs billing

    Dear All,
transaction GBB, there are vax and vay.
vax where account is not cost element whereas vay, account is cost element.
    1) may i know when to use vax and when to use vay?
    2) during pgi, goods issue account is debited whereas during billing, cogs is updated in copa via ke4i.
    - may i know why cogs not debited during pgi but rather goods issue account debited?
    thanks

    Hi,
Basically in costing based COPA the system does not post the cost of goods sold to COPA during goods issue but it is done at the time of posting the invoice since the system wants to see the revenues and the COGS values together.
Since the system posts the COGS into COPA at the time of invoice posting, you will appreciate that if this is also done during goods issue then you will have duplicate entries in your COPA (i.e. the COGS will be doubled).
If in transaction VL01N/VL02N a costing-based line item would be posted, the costs would be double in CO-PA (the billing and goods issue) For this reason, no costing based line items will be created in the standard R/3 system for transaction VL01N/VL02N.
As per the Notes 77764 and 616097, there are two scenarios for the account determination.
    For the Note 77764:
The account determination for the offsetting entry for inventory posting (account key GBB) with account grouping VAY is executed during the goods issue for the delivery (when you are using the Customizing delivered by SAP), if the posting is assigned to a cost accounting related object (cost center, order, project, profitability segment).
Otherwise, the account determination is carried out with account grouping VAX.
According to the Note 616097 states:
For goods issues for the delivery of make-to-order material or material with direct cost controlling, the system in detail shows the following posting behavior:
    o  Valuated sales order stock
For valuated sales order stock, if special stock indicator SOBKZ  is specified with E and indicator KZBWS for the valuation of
special stock is specified with M = 'Separate valuation with reference  to sales document/project' or 'A', the following is valid:
      -  For product cost by sales order:
Here, the indicator for consumption posting KZVBR is determined with E = 'Sales order'. Thus, VAY results as
account modification in the standard setting.
      -  Without direct cost controlling:
Here, the indicator for consumption posting KZVBR is     determined with 'blank' = 'No consumption'. Thus, VAX results
as account modification in the standard setting.
    In a short conclusion,
For GI document(with no special stock), system will check the cost center/order etc.. If anyone of these items is not blank, mseg-kzvbr is set as V, VAY will be determined.
For GI document (with special stock E), system will check the account assignment. If the consumption posting KZVBR is E, VAY will be determined.
    regards
    Waman

  • Report for stock transfer from plant to plant

    Hi,
Is there any standard report for  stock transfer from plant to plant .
If not is there any enhancements to get the above report.
    Regards,
    Ravindranath.

    Hi Ravi,
U can use the tcode MB51 and their u can give the input as 301 if it is 1 step in the mvt type or use 303 and 305 for 2 step transfer. and generate the report.
if u want the list of stock transport orders then use tcode ME2N and the input parameter as  item category "U" and generate the report.
hope it wud have answered ur question

  • Stock transfer from plant to depot

    Dear Experts,
I have used special procurement type along with additive cost in DEPOT.
There is one more tcode-okyo- Assign origin group to condition type. What is the use of the same?.
one more doubt in STO from Plant to depot
lets say- material(A) standard price in depot 120rs including excise/freight and 100rs in plant
while doing transfer system will dr 120 depotand credit 100 plant and 20 in depot cost center.
I m transferring  this 20 rs to depot cost center and when actual freight is coming.i will book the same in depot cost center.
So 20 rs will knock off in depot.
    Is it correct approach?
    regards
    Raman Rana

    Hi Ajay,
If i will maintained Moving price at depot and standard at plant.
Lets say stock transfer from plant to depot
    Standard price at plant 100rs
    Price at depot=standard price at plantfrieghtinsurance= 120rs
So my inventory a/c at depot 120 rs DR
inventory a/c   at plant  100 rs with standard price
frieght and insurance clrg a/c 20 rs
When i got actual bill of frieght and exceise
    let say 25 rs
I will debit    frieght and insurance clrg a/c 25rs
                       credit vendor a/c                     25rs
In that case i have difference of 5 rs in clrg a/c
Is it correct? or any other way for doing it?

  • Stock Transfer between plants two steps.

    DearAll,
We are using the scenario stock transfer between plants two steps.in the source plant we are issueing the goods  with on 303 movement in MIGO with Remove from storage option. in the receiving plant we are receiving the goods with refernce to 303 material document in MIGO with place in storage option.
we are using the version SAP 4.7.
my problem is at the time of goods receipt SAP is allowing to the posting date less than the source plant 303 document date. it should allow the posting date as Greater than equal to source plant document date at the time of GR.
    Any standard pracktise is there.

  • Transfer entire stock of a plant

    Hi
I would like to transfer the whole stock of a plant to another plant. Is that possible without entering all materials one by one?
    Thanks for your answers
    Frederic

    Hi,
It will be better if you use MB1B with Movement Type 301. And also try to create LSM for this.
    Refer the following link for LSMW;

  • WM/IM Stock mismatch

    Hi,
I've got a problem as we have a stock mismatch between WM & IM as a result of an issue with stock write on for Go Live.
When the stock was written into the live box via a 561 mvt, the WM functionality didn't run.
Config had to be tweaked to activate the WM piece.
We then cancelled the 561, but this created a negative entry in the storage type 998 - Aufnahme.
When the stock was re-entered on IM, the WM side didn't match due to this entry.
Have tried every trick I know to correct the WM stock.
Does anyone know how to correct/amend WM bin stock without adjusting IM stock???
    Thanks,
    Kathryn

you loaded the stock in MM as the warehouse was not assigned to the location in table T320, hence only MM was updated with quantity, WM not.
Then you assigned the warhouse to the location.
then you cancelled your initial stock load, which in turn removed quantity from MM AND from WM as WM was active at this point of time.
Result was 0 stock in MM and negative stock in 998 WM
Then you load stock again, so stock in MM became positive while in WM it became just zero.
This was a wrong cycle, you should not have activated the WM link before cancelling the initial stock.
You should have done this activation after cancellation of initial load, and before doing the new load.
To correct the situation you have to cancel your load again and redo you load.
this time, start with removing the assignmen.
    then cancel you material documents.
this will result in zero stock in MM and zero stock in WM.
    Then switch on the assignement.
    then load your stock again.
Here you can read alternative options for datam migration with WM.

  • Considering stocks of both plants in special procure. type scenario.-urgent

    Hi dudes,
Our client is using special procurement type 80(prod.in alternative plant), he is getting planned order in delivering plant as requirement generated by planning plant. while running MRP in both plants, it would consider only the stock of planning plant but not the stock of delivering plant suppose stock is made in delivering plant individually(say manual orders). As the requirement generated by planning plant, the planned order will be generated in delivering plant irrespective of its individual stock.
can we make the system to consider what ever the stock in delivering plant and create no planned order if stock is there.
    thanks in advance
    Robert

    Robert,
If that was your requirement why not use Special Procurement key 70 (Withdraw from alternate plant). In this case system only creates reservation and Planning at Supplying plant will be based on the Net requirement calculation considering all recipets, Stock and Issues.
    Regards,
    Prasobh
