Stock movement QA11

I want to move the stock under QI to Unrestricted from one storage location to other with out usage decission. This can be done directly in QA11. I want the FM which can do the same.
I am looking for a better way over BDC.
BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION does not have any parameter for Quanity so it can not be used

I don't have a system to test it in but if you use the exact same settings for VMENGE08 as in VMENGE07 it should work the same.
Have you tried using another movement type in VMENEGE08? Say the 321 and 309 settings used in VMENEGE06? I know those work in VMENGE08 as i have used them. If they work, and then you can't get the 122's to work I would ask SAP via OSS.
Amol - You can add VMENGE08 in config under new entries. If you read the configuration documentation for "Define Inventory Postings" it explains VMENGE08 as well as some other additional functionaliyt including adding a custom description for VMENGE08.

How to stop stock movement through 105

I have a scenario, in which QM is on (inspection type 01 Activated) on a material, now Inspection lot is also generated after GR, but Store user has moved the stock using 105. is there any possible way to restrick store not to move stocks of those materials on which 01 inspection type is activated.

Store user has moved the stock using 105 : Possibly stock was in Unrestricted so store was able to move it.
If the stock is in QI then its not possible to move unless you clear Inspection lot stock through QA11/QA12.
You can check autherization object like
Material Documents: Movement Type M_MSEG_BMB
Goods Movements: Movement Type M_MSEG_BWA
With the help of Basis.
But best way is to control in stock posting in QA11 instead of autherization.

Consignment Stock movements in ORT_C37

Hi Experts,
I am working on BW IS-Retail implementation. In my project for stock information, we are using 0RT_C37 infocube. But I am not getting the consignment stock material movements in my report. Please let me know how to get the consignment material movements in 0rt_c37 infocube.
Any enhancements required for 2lif_03_bf infosource. I saw the consignements stock movements in 0IC_C03 cube. But I am using 0rt_c37 cube for retail values.
Please help me out from this issue.

There are two option for u
First option is...you can update the same cube with another infosource and updat rule to feed the data into the cube and get the consignment stock detail
this should not affect the data consistency or granularity of the cube....
Second option is..as already said create a multiprovider or infoset depending on the report...if u feel joins wil be useful go for infoset query or union condition is sufficing ur report requirement go for multiprovider....
this should not affect the reporting performance as joins are done during runtime and may take some time to fetch

Report needed to conbine stock movement and corresponding balance

Hi Friends,
End user need a report to show stock movement trasaction and it's coresponding stock balance.
In MB51, we can see all the stock movements against one material, is there any way a report could show stocks' corresponding iventory balance under diffierent invenotory category (unrestriced,QC, Return and block) for each movement trasaction ?
Report needed like below
SLoc , MoveType , Material document, posting date, qty, unrestic bal, QC balance, return Balance, Blked Bal.

Stock movement in the sale order

Hi Gurus,
Can any one explain me how to configure the stock movement in the sale order. Our client has MTO and MTS types of production process. For MTO, once production process completed stock will come to the sale order. In case of MTS, when sale order created system is considering the stock lying in the unrestricted use. Instead of this we would like to have the validation such that first user should move the stock from unrestricted to sale order. ( here system should not consider materials lying in the unrestricted use).
Kindly let us know the processing steps for MTS scenario.

Error of serial no while doing stock movement 343

Hello all gurus
please help me out I am in junk state.my problame is
I am doing the stock movement from blocked stock to unrestricted stock through Mb1B movement type 343
when i m doing this system asking serial no i m searching the serial no by giving plant n stor loc system autometically showing a no
but when selecting the ser no and putting enter the system showing an error that (this ser no is not suitable for the movement type)
plz help me out naa I am in a crunch situation

Query on stocks movement takes a long time

There is a query on stocks movement cube which gives closing stocks across all plants. This query lately has started taking too much of time to execute. We have compressed the cube with no marker update.

BAPI to post stock movement in QM's Usage Decision

I'm looking for a bapi or standard program to register stock movements in QM as a result of a usage decision.
We've tried using BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE with no success as it returns error QA 495 "Change the inspection stock of material in QM only"

Hello!
You do not need to create TO manually. Set up RLAUTA11 report as a job.
To run RLAUTA11 you have to maitain:
creation indicator:
Logistic Execution->Warehouse Managment->Activities->Transfers->Set Up Autom. TO Creation for TRs / Posting Change Notices->Automatic TO creation/control data: for warehouse level: any character
Logistic Execution->Warehouse Managment->Activities->Transfers->Set Up Autom. TO Creation for TRs / Posting Change Notices->Movements assign: set up your indicator in field "Automatic TO" Background processing (MvT type and warehouse, probably your e.g. MvT is 321 - realese from Quality Inspection stock)
Next You must create variant for job with your warehouse and creation indicator.

Stock movement upon UD

Hello,
Does anyone know if it is possible to post a stock movement 321 'O' (special stock : subcontractor = O) upon usage decision ?
I managed an inspection lot to be created upon GR (101 'O') but can not get the automatic movement 321 'O'

Its never a 321 'o' after UD as I am doubtful that lot created may not be stock relevent.
UD can be taken automatically but stock posting I am not very sure.

Set No Decimal Point for Quantity in Any Stock Movement.

Can anybody tell me how to block user from entering qty with decimal point in any stock movement that they plan to do. Our current system setting allowed user to do goods issue with decimal quantity such as 1.25 Unit.

Stock movement from warehouse to another warehouse

Hi Friends,
I have two storage locations with two warehouses each. I want to move the stock from one storage bin ( warehouse - storage location) to another storage bin ( warehouse - storage location).
I hope First we have to do 311 movement. I heard that after doing 311 movement TR will be created automatically. Is it true? If so how? If it is possible then where will we give the sending storage bin, warehouse and recieving storage bin, warehouse?
I hope after automatic creation of the TR we have to create manual TO and confirm the TO. If automatic TR creation is there, then automatic creation of TO also will be there?
Kindly clarify me the full process of stock movement from one storage location to another storage location where WM is there.

for automatic TO creation,
To have transfer orders created automatically in the background, you must first set the indicator Automatic transfer order creation for each respective movement type in the Customizing application for Warehouse Management under the path Activities ® Transfers ® Define Movement Types. The system automatically copies this indicator into the header item of the source document.

Please run Inventory Audit Report. There you will get the Item cost of material as per FIFO Layer....

Credit memo without stock movement

Hi everybody,
I have a problem with the credit memos:
how can I do a credit memo on an item, when I don't want to have a stock movement, but I still want to update the customers item quantity information?
Example:
A customers sends 10 pieces back, which have to be destructed.
I have to credit the 10 pieces, don't want to book these in the warehouse and write the information, that these 10 pieces were returned by this customer.

SD Sales BOM and Stock Movement--Help please

Scenario:
Client is dealing with Value packs. i.e. He creates a finish good by using 2 finish goods as components by creating Sales BOM.
Basic Requirement: To have component level treatment i.e. pricing delivery to be incorporated for components.
Item cat grp selected as LUMF for BOM parent Item in material master.
But the requirement is that stock movements should reflect for both parent as well as BOM materials upon PGI. Header stock is required to check the stock availibity.
By this approach no movements can be seen for parent which will give a wrong picture of the stock positions for Parent Material.
How this can be handled whereby we can see the stock movements for both Parent as well as components.

How to find to stock movements

Hi,
Can anyone tell me how to track the stock movements ie receipt -issue = balance ..
my issue is , in mb5b when i gave date selection as 01-04 to 30-04 - my stock bal is 1500 Kg, where as in mat master (a/cing view ) for period 1 2009, the stock showing as 0 , as well in table mbewh also 0 .. so in this case tell me how i can prove that the stock becomes zero??

I'm comparing the stock as of 1-4 to 30-4 (i.e period 01), here my stock in MM03 (period 1 only) is zero where as in MB5B it's 1500 kg (for 1.4 to 30.4) ??? how this will happen and how to track it?? and i checked there is no document posted in may as posting date as april.. there is no such doc,.what ever posted and entered in april only..
