Stock of Batch in Process order

Hi,
The Requirement is as follows:
Material A is used as a component in Process Order and is managed in Batches. The requirement is the system should show the the available batches with stock when F4 is done for Batch field in Component overview of the Process order.
Regards,
Prasad

Hi Dhaval,
There is no search filter as Batches in Unrest.
The following search filters are available:
1. Searches for batches via classes
2. batches for plant material
3. batches for Material
4. Batches for valuation type
5. Valuation types for the material
6. Batch work list
7. original batches for plant material
8. Original batches for material
9. Batches for vendor
My requirement is to get those Batches which contains stock with unrestricted status. ie batch list with expiry as mentioned by you.

Prasad

  • Reservation of component Batch for Process order

    Hi PP Guys,
I did the batch determination of a particular component batch in process order, but when I try to create another process order system proposing the available qty without considering the earlier reserved batches.
I want to view only the batches which are free from any reservations during batch determination in process order.
Example: If Batch "A" having qty 1000 kg in unrestricted stock.
I have created a process order and did the batch determination for the quantity of 900 kg,  when I create another process order for the same material system should propose only the available component batch qty of 100 kg only, but system still proposing the un-restricted available qty of 1000 kg.
Please advise me the solution to map the scenaio.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Check whether Reservation is included in your checking control(T.Code OPJJ).
If not then correct it by activating check box for Include reservations.

  • Want to Create batch in process order at a time of Operation release.

    HI,
We are going to release operation one by one for process order. There are 4 operations in my process order. I want to create batch in process order header when i release first operation.
Is there  way i can set the Production Scheduler Profile  to PREL to create batch at header level.
    Thanks in advance!

    Thanks for the Information,
to my understanding, all the Operation controls are in Operation control key.
There is No Batch creation functionlaity assiciated with Operation control key.
Look for a user exit to create the Batch with the PREL of the Header or REL of the 1st operation.

  • Batch management & process Order

    hi gurus !!!
can we have qty divided in two batch numbers against same process order ??

    Hi Kaushik,
You need to define Batch Strategy with number of splits "2", so that system will allow 2 splits for a component while Batch determination.
This is a defination basically for a combination of condition type and access sequence.
    Hope this helps...
Note during automatic batch determination, if sufficient stocks of a single batch is existing, system default uses only one batch.

    Hi,
You can do that in T Code CORW.
For the required production scheduler select the batch creation for process order.
Also in the Assignment tab of the process order, there is a field for batch, next to it there is a Create button. Click that, you will get the batch number in that field.
    Hope that helps.
    Regards,
    Rohit.
Added: I apologise, its not the Assignment tab in process order. It is Goods Receipt tab.

    Kumar.
What should be copied? The header batch or some/all of the characteristics of the header batch to a new batch for the component?

I am allocating batch to process order components(for active ingridient)While I am allocating the batch I am able to select the batch which has all of its quantity reserved, which is not desireble.Any solutions please??/
    Eg.In MMBE my batch stock(say for batch AA11) is as follows:Unres stck 100 & reserves 100
If I am determing batch for a different process order where this component is used,I am able to select the same batch, even though it has no open quantities.
    Please suggest

    Hi Rele,
Please check in CO09 transaction for the availability of this batch stock whether it is free or confirmed to any other component like.

  • Scrapping of QI stock which was received from a process order that is closed 2 years back

    Dear Quality Experts,

    3. Physically the stock is not existing on the Quality inspection floor.
    4. Material is having batch without Inspection lot.
    5. Batch SLED date is in the past (2013)
    6. Tried MB1A with movement type 553 without success.
    Kindly suggest a solution.

  • Replenishment based on a process order

    Hello,
I am working on a prototyping a replenishment scenario and i want to know "how to initiate a replenishment based on the process order and not from the Min/Max levels set in the material master.
if anyone knows pl. do send ur reply about the steps and the process involved in it.
Also if u have any documents pl post it.
    Thanks,
    Maxx.

    Hi,
Unless you need to ensure that the replenishment is done in such a way that the stock is ONLY available for this process order (i..e. if it is left in stock it may be taken by another order etc), there is no need to link.
If you have zero stock then place the process order The PD MRP type will see the requirement for the item and generate a purchase requisition or planned order. This is then converted into a PO or PP order and the stock is then obtained. When the stock is received the PD MRP type will not do anything because the stock matches the requirement.  You then do your goods issue as you would normally, referencing the process order.
Let me know if I have misunderstood your requirement.

  • QI stock batch assignment in Process order component

I have stock of raw material in MMBE against different batch and stock type. Suppose I have 3 batches - B1, B2, B3 for raw material R1.
Now in MMBE R1 RM has stock in unrestricted stock batch B1, B2 and QI stock B3.
If I am creating a process order for FG with RM R1, then in component overview screen in COR1 / COR2 T-code I am able to add manually batch No. B3 against R1 RM. If I am saving as well the batch No. B3 from QI is also saved along with process order.
However, we have restrcited issue of stock from QI stock. But, is ther any way that during Process order saving system will show error message if any batch is determined manually in component overview from QI stock.
Any exit or, standard Config is there to restrcit it?
    Please suggest

    Hi Susanta Roy,
System will pops up the message of material shortage for the batch no. B3 which you have manually selected from QI stock, try this once you maintain the manual entry of batch no. B3 in the cor1 0r cor2, just click on the 'Material Availability check' Tab on the same screen system will pops the message pf material shortage.
Also maintain the tick mark to Check material availability when saving order (network) in OPJK for your plant and order type for the both Availability check.
    Please check and revert.
    Thanks

  • Batch determ. in Process Order doesn't consider Stock Provided to Vendor

    Dear Forum,
We have a problem with the following scenario:
We use Process Orders to manage our Subcontracting process. This is standard SAP, where the Operation is defined as 'external', and this works fine.
The scenario which we can not seem to be able to work is the following:
When executing batch determination for the component(s) which are batch relevant, the system does not show the batch stocks which are already at the subcontractor, i.e. Special Stock 'O' stock provided to vendor.
    This is strange, because:
    - In the availability check the flag 'W/o subcontracting' is not set.
    - The batches in the subcontracting location fulfil the selection criteria which have been defined in the batch determination Selection Class.
Does somebody have experience with this? Any hints are welcome.
    Thanks, Mark Voet

    Hi Mark,
As I understand you determine the batches in the process order.
From SAP point of view it means that you determine the stock which is to be provided to the vendor. Components with batches are copied into the PO when it is created from the PurReq and system will use this stock (batches) automatically when you execute MB1B541PO reference.
Later, when you do the GR against this PO, the same batch(es) will appear automatically for components-to-be-consumed (by mvt 543).
    http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/8b/55a026995011d195a2080009c17b92/frameset.htm
So, SAP's concept is that the batches which are determined in the order are those batches which are to be sent to the vendor - these batches will be posted from your storage location to the subcontractor. Stock in special stock segement "O" ar at the sc-vendor.
As per my best knowledge there's no solution in standard system for that if you want to determine such batches in the order which are located at the subcontractor...
