Stock overview of Consumables/Direct consumptions

Hi Experts,
Please provide your valuable suggestions on the below mentioned scenario :
My client needs to tract the stock of direct consumables materials for Eg:- books. this  information will be use full for next procurement proposal.when ever client see the stock of that book, then  they will comes to know whether to go for procurement or not .
Administration department will procure the consumables and distribute to all the other departments in the organisation.
In SAP when we procure consumables that will charged to a cost centre (Administration dept)  and GL A/C at the time of PO.again when I issue the stock to other departments it is asking of cost centre and G/L again.In My scenario the consumables are already charged to admin department and when i issue the stock to other departments i will not give the cost center because it is just for information purpose to reduce the stock form original stock.
Kindly give your inputs............

Create a Cost centers for each departement.As per your Informations...
Suppose You have already issued  consumables against Cost center of department.When you actually issue material issue againt a dummy cost center which you will never do settlement.
This will avoid cost debit from cost center which physically moving material but stock will reduce.
Use MB1A 261 Mvt type
For this take the help of your FICo consultant.

    Consumebles is a material (you can say consumeble is a material type attribute). You can have quantity and value updation for these materials.
    Ex: you have a material say diesel. You define this material as consumeble. You create a material type as consumebles with price control and you procure it as a stock material and store it. When ever you require it you issue it for consumption (to process/ department (cost centre)) etc..
    Consmption is a process. For any material (say raw or above consumebles) you issue it to a process/ department for consumption. You can create a PO with account assignment category as K or N for direct consumption.
    You can use material or short text for direct consumption process.
    I dont have fair idea about non-valuated materials usage in industry scenario. UNBW is non-valuated material. It has no accounting means no value.

  • MMBE stock overview - S Loc Level stock not getting displayed - ECC 6 0

    Hello,
    In ECC 6,0 Version, in the MMBE (stock overview) stock is getting displayed only at the Plant level. It is not showing at levels below for eg. S Loc level/Valuation type level. Is there any setting to be activated for this?
    Can any one throw some light?

        is there any <b>transaction</b> or <b>report</b> to get Stock overview plantwise/ storagelocationwise ... except MMBE it gives particular material.. i want per particular plant or storage location total materials stock.
    I want stock report similar to <b>MMBE</b> it gives available stock per single material in a palnt but my requirement to print available stock per all materials in a given material along with storagelocation wise/batch wise and total quantity.

    There's quite a lot you can do in Logistics Info Systems to report on stocks across multiple materials.
    Other than that, it depends on what you really want to show - stock that's physically present (e.g. including vendor-owned consignment), stock that you own (e.g. including customer consignment or toll manufacturers' stocks); do you want to show quantities (doesn't usually make much sense for more than one material, of course, due to varying units of measure) or values, etc.
    Some of these data are quite expensive to read from a runtime perspective, in particular the "special" stocks (e.g. consignment).
    You also have to consider that stock you own but that's not physically present on site (e.g. customer consignment), or GR blocked stock, usually is not assigned to a storage location.
    If you give me some more info about what you're actually trying to achieve, I may be able to help you better.

    does anybody know if it is possible to change the order used in a purchase order for direct consumption when receiving it by using MIGO and movement type 101

    Its possible to change the order number while doing GR- MIGO.
    Go to ME22N, before GR do the changes in order in account item category in item level tab in PO.
    Then do GR .

    Is there any SAP standard report of displaying stock overview on basis of the 'product hierarchy' (Field: PRDHA) or do i have to make a copy of the transaction (MMBE) and add the respective field ..

            i need to send the stock to subcontractor..so PO reference mb1b 541 movement type i m sending the stock..here i want to see the stock overview as well as see the vendor stock also.. if there is any setting or threre to check the stock otherwise any enhancement can fulfil this requirement.

    Enter movement type 541, PO referenc and on next screen, click on Environment tab, enter only plant, remove storage location , select Stock Overview -> Stock Material , system will show you stock in Plant for all Storage Location as well as Stock lying at Vendors end, else if tyou want to know stock lying at vendor's end , you can run report MBLB (Stock at subcontractor)

    Madan,
    I assume we are talking about the "Batch" check box in the "Select Display levels" section.
    if this check box is activated, system displays the stock details at the Batch level also. Basically the aggregation of stock happens like this..
    Batch Stock
    Storage Location Stock (Cumulation of Batch Stock in that Storage Location)
    Plant Stock (Cumulation of all Storage Location stock in that plant)

    Please go to /SAPAPO/RRP3 and click on Stock tab. If you use GATP you can even get the details using /SAPAPO/AC03

  • Sales order stock not showing in stock overview(MMBE)

    Hi,
    I have a MTO scenario where against the sales order production order has been created.
    Production order has been delivered & the material document showing 101E movement type.
    After that the material has been transfered to another storage location with in the same plant with movement type 311E.
    We can see the sales order no. on each material document.
    But in stock overview no sales order stock is there against the particular sales order and because of this user is not able to create delivery for the same sales order.
    Please guide in this matter.

    Hi,
    In MMBE, check for the log on the movement type. You can find it in MMBE once the report is displayed. Select the storage location and then check for the Movement of goods from Menu > Environment > Movement types. It will have all the details of quantity moved in and qty moved out. You can easily identify thro' which movement type this material and qty is moved.
    Also check the tcode MB52.

  • Error in Part1 entry for Direct consumption.

    Hai all MM gurus,
    Generally in Std SAP, the system will  create a single material document for the goods receipt and issue for the direct consumption procurement. From this material document it generates two Part I entries for register RG 23 C, one for the goods receipt and another for the goods issue. Instead the system generated 4 part1 entries for register RG23C, one for the Goods receipt & other three for the goods issue. How to resolve this error?. Please give ur valuable inputs.

  • Stock overview option in notification screen (QM01/QM02)

    Dear Friends,
    We are using ECC6.00. QM module is also implemented. In Quality management we create notifications for handling rejections. All stock postings are defined as action boxes. I want in the screen of the notificaiton, the stock overview icon so that prior to posting the stock, i can check the same.Is there any way to get my requirement met.
