Stock posting screen

I am doing UD and stock posting of FG material (04 insp type). I wounder "proposal" button is not coming in stock screen. What could be reason?
Can you suggest?

In mb51 enter material , pant anf f8
click on current display variant , 2 tabs wil appear header and position , click on position- if u select Document Header Text header text will appear and select Text for item text and click on copy
stored in Text - SGTXT field in MSEG TABLE
for this u have to enter both the texts and ppost some quatity, so that mvt. happens in background anf for that mvt. type text will appear in mb51

Object ID For Price In Stock Posting

Hi All,
My client needs the object id for the price field in the stock posting screen as he wants to put a check on it in the transaction notification. Could anybody help me with this please?
To get to the screen I am talking about you go to Stock Management, Stock Transactions, Initial Quantities Stocktaking and Stock Posting. On the screen that opens select Stock Posting and then ok. In the screen that opens I am looking for the object id for the price column there.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Have you tried with Object type '58' ?? not object 31
this is not listed in the SDK help (Business Objects Enumeration) however, it apears in the OINM table

Stock posting for recurring

Hi Group,
At the screen of Usage decision I selects the "accept" UD code, then jump on to the Stock posting screen where system is not showing any quantity in the field for Sample posting. And not calculating the sample while i press on the Proposal button.
Pls can any one help me how to resolve it.

I'm not clear.Are you able to see inspection lot stock tab in UD.If not please check the indicator to insopection lot stock at creation.
The details available are basically Insp lot qty,sample size,qty posted and to be posted.I'm not confident if i answered your doubts but pls get back.Thanks

Inspection lot stock posting issue

My inspection lot for qty 23 no's was created after doing GR against PO. While doing Usage decsion for the same, I wanted to post 20 qty to unresticted and 3 qty to reurn to vendor .when I went to the ispection stock tab page in UD , and tried doing the same there was an error while saving the same.
However the ispection lot status changed to UD ICCO SPST.
The stock is still lying in QI stock.I can see that in the stock report MMBE
Now my issue is that I am not able to post the quantity to unresticted stock. While i try to change the inspecton lot in QA12 transaction , the system issues a message that UD is done and hence cannot change.
Please do suggest how I can over come this issue and post stocks to Unresticted stocks

What you don't tell us is what does your stock overview report show? The status SPST indicates that stock posting has been started which means that something has been posted somewhere.
Go and display the UD. Look at the stock posting screen and see what it says has been posted. Verify that it matches what you see in MMBE in the stock overview.
Did you access QA12 directly or via the QA32 worklist. Try using QA12 in the command line and see if you can get into it. Typically you should always be able go back and change the UD code.
Report back to use what you find.

QM/WM- LT05 Screen after QM stock posting

Hi
Is there anyway to trigger the LT05 screen appearing after a stock posting in the inspection lot ? We have it working when doing a partial UD using the follow-on action, but when we want to just pre-release part of the inspection lot we can't get the 321 movement from within QM to trigger this screen appearing.
Any ideas ? Or do we need to do this via a user exit?

Well, i thought about your suggestion too. It seems a good alternative. Another option is during GR in quality inspection stock to create a TO towards a workcenter. But, like the sample bin solution you suggest, i still have no physical transfer of the sample quantity to the other storage location.
The reason my client wants this is to have better insight in what stock is physically in which storage location. The storage location where the materials are tested is physically 100 km from the central warehouse. So the sample has to be shipped from the central warehouse (WM managed) towards the warehouse where they test the samples.
As you describe we can put the sample in the storage bin in Q stock and wait for them to be approved and the post them to unrestriced use stock by the user decision. But still the physical transfer is not solved in my opinion. What am i missing?
We have other non WM managed storage locations too which we supply from the central (WM) managed warehouse with materials (via MRP run). The (UB) purchase reqs result in a (UB) purchase order, then we convert them into a (NL) delivery with VL10B and create a shipment and a pick (transfer) order and ship them from the WM stor loc to the other non WM stor locs.

Unable to change stock posting date at usage decision while inspecting HUs

If we were using materials without WMS it's simple: thereu2019s a button in the screen for stock posting by which we're able to change document date and posting date; but we're using WM and the screen is slightly different: the button I'm referring it's gone!
So, how to change the posting date at posting stock in QA11 when we're using handle units? Some end-user told me that in version 4.7 this was possible. I don't think so ...unless there was something customized at WM IMG...or maybe they were using a USER EXIT to bring a pop-up window for this (I'm starting to believe that this was implemented..). This is the first time I work with HUs, so I don't know how to manage this.

Stock Posting date in QA11

Hi,
Usage decision is made through TCode QA11.In QA11 we also make stock posting. There is one screen that is document header data, in which system take by defalt current date for the document date and posting date.
In our case there is gap between GR date and UD date. But we need Document date and posting date should be same as GR Processing date.
Like wise. GR Date 22.08.2008
UD Date 24.08.2008
As per above example document date and posting date is set by default 24.08.2008.We can change here the date. Now Pl advice
Is there any idea so that system set posting date by default as GR Processing date ie 22.08.2008

In std it is not possible. When your going to take UD that date only system will take it as a default,
If want that changes like GR date = UD date you can try through User exist contact your ABAPer he will guide you.

How to find out a lot for a specific stock posting?

Dear Friends
In our system every day 3 times rej posting ( and ok qnty posting) is done and 3 lots are supposed to be cleared for 3 consecutive shifts A, B, C. Now I found on 2.9.2009, 4 rej postings are done in mb51, (The unmatched rej qntity is X) rej storage.But I found only three lots are cleared from qa32.
I found that none of these 3 lots have rej qnty/ok qnty as X
So there must be a fourth lot that was cleared on 2nd sep but created on some other date. Can u tell me how to find out this lot?
Can I find out inspection lot no from material doment created due to stock posting in mb51?
In qa32 we can find production order number, but can i find order confirmation number from qa32?

It is very muxh possible to view the Inspection lot from the Material document if know either through MB51 or MIGO
Enter material document number>at the bottom there is QTy tab>Here you will find "Status Gr Doc" Inspection lot.
Also
Just check the Material document's mvt type for Qty X it may not be 321.......Revert back
This document may be generated due to additional mvt done in US screen.

Stock posting of 08 inspection lot which is having status of LTCA

Hi Freinds,
I am having problem in posting the stock from Quality to unrestricted.
The details are as follows;
A stock transfer Inspection lot is created and by mistake given the UD as "Rejected" and cancelled the Inspection lot.
Later it has been realised and the UD code has been removed and left blank and Saved the UD screen.
The stock is in Quality and it has to be posted to Unrestricted.
If I go to transaction QA02 to "Reset the cancellation", it is greyed out and we are unable to do that.
We are unable to give UD also because the Inspection lot status is not allowing.
I have used transaction "MB11" with movement type 311, I am getting the error as "Stock posting only possible in QM".
Please let me know how to post the stock to Unrestricted.

Hi Gajesh,
The problem is still continuing and we have implemented notes 48815 and 174877, however we could not able to solve the issue.
In the mean time we have asked SAP to get the solution.
The sequence of process followed by the user where in we have reached this situation;
1. A stock transfer Inspection lot(IL) is created (using MIGO, 322 movement type)
2. For this IL, they have gone to QA32 and given the UD as "R" and they didn't post the stock and SAVED the IL.
3. They went back once again to UD screen using QA32 and cancelled the IL and SAVED (Stock posting not done even now). At this point the IL status is LTCA
4. They went back once again to UD screen using QA32 and "Revoked" the UD and SAVED (Stock posting not done even now).
5. Now the stock cannot be posted and the lot cannot be revoked.
So we have asked SAP for help, I will keep you posted. In the mean time if you get any idea, please propose.

Stock posting through mb1b

Hi gurus,
My client manufactures 10 steel plates from 1 slab.Every plate has different batch no.In material master QM view is maintained.
Clients requirement is that he must be able to do stock posting for all batches through MB1B mvmt type 321 after Result Recording.But when we try to do this we get error message posting can be done through QM only.
Is it possible to do stock posting for automatically created lots through MB1B.

Hi Amit,
Since quality management is active for the said material, you cannot use MB1B transaction to post until you make a decision on the usage of the material/batch.As you have mentioned, these inspection lots are stock-relevant or these were created automatically as a result of goods movement. This setup were defined in the Quality management screen (inspection set-up).For you to make posting stocks from quality, you need first to release the materials by QA11 whether you are to accept or reject. In QA11, you can then post the stocks to other stock types manually or automatically. Hope this helps.

Automatic UD and Automatic Stock Posting

Step 1 QS51
For Plant 1000, for 04 inspection type, I have created Z04GPF as selected set for taking UD
On double clicking the Selected set codes I wll reach the following screen
As per my requirement, I have maintained the setting for Automatic stock posting to Unrestricted Stock from Quality Inspection.
Step 2 ; QA16
Now My requirement is that I want to take Automatic UD and subsequently Automatics Stock Posting should takes place from quality stock to Unrestricted stock.
On QA16 screen I have inputted the following parameters to select the lots of the same production order and same batch material.as shown below
Sir, I am facing Problem at the area shown below on QA16 screen
Here I want to input the UD selected set maintained for plant 1000 (In specific as Accepted A ). But on selecting F4 at the field shown above I am getting the below popup window
This is the UD for SAP Standard Plant (01 GR WARENEINGANG)
Also I am unable to see 04 inspection type
The same problem is coming when I am selecting F4 on the field UD code

even i am asked to use qa41 for sheduling the job but whenever i schedule job and try qa16 for the ud and posting i recieve an error i.e (No batch input data for screen SAPLIPW1 0200)
do u faced the same error / if u have a solution to batch job, tell me about it. i am having a relavent problem ..

Auto stock posting based on Calculation

Hello to all,
Client receive a raw material, Quality checks impurity level. 2% is acceptable impurity. If impurity is within 2% stock posting is done for total GRN qty.
If impurity is more than 12%, lot is rejected and entire qty send back to vendor.
Now my scenario is if QC records impurity as example 7% the they
calculate 7-2=5% here 2 is earlier mentioned allowable/acceptable impurity.
Then they have to deduct 5% from total qty and post it to
Unrestricted stock. Client is asking for this automatic calculation and auto stock posting to Unrestricted stock based on deduction calculation.
Can any one suggest a solution for this.
Here I am giving an example.
Impurity= 7%
Impurity above allowance= 7-2=5%
GRN qty=1000 kg
Calculation for deduction = [1000- (1000*(5/100) )]= 950 kg = qty needs to be posted to unrestricted stock.
Client needs this calculation to happen automatic and this qty
should be automatically posted to unrestricted stock. He is not willing to calculate this and put qty manaully.
Is there any solution available.

Did you read the help on the enhancement? This is from 6.0.
If you use this, you must do the posting via posting line VMENGE08 and only the posting from this line will be affected by the User exit.
Description
     The customer exit enables the control of a separate quantity posting in the usage decision.
     A prerequisite for activating the exit function is that you use the quantity postings to other stock on the stock overview screen of the usage decision transactions.
     To do this, you must activate the fields for quantity bookings to other stock for the inspection type field using the transaction SFAC (Customer field selection). After they are activated, a new quantity appears in the stock overview for the usage decision.
     In addition, in view TQ07M you need to maintain the movement types for field RQEVA_VMENGE08 .
     The exit permits you to influence the quantity posting using structure QBEFU. Here, additional data can be determined and returned.
     The posting is then carried out according to the changed data as part of the normal usage decision postings.

Stock Posting - Search Possibility

We would like to have a search possibility (e.g. an item) in the screen 'Stock Management / Stock Transactions / ...Stock Posting.
In the other screen (Stocktaking) this functionality is availible. Why not in the Stock Posting?

I want to know what is the difference between the term stock posting and the term qty. posting.Is it possible to do the stock posting and qty. posting from QA32 screen.

Hi,
The term Qty posting and Stock Posting are same. The material stock or qty can be transfered to different storage locations or to different plants or to different companies. The material will be removed from one location and added in the other location.
Through QA32 you can do the stock or qty posting if the material is in the Quality stock.

can't remember which one comes first because it flashes too fast.

Hi,
I see those debug codes too on my Z87 system. I belive those are there, so you dont need to look inside your case.
For that 6 pin PCI-e i wouldent worry even with two overclocked titans. After third one it might come to my maind to use that.
You have straigth plugs to your GPU's that plug on motherboard is just to give more staible voltage when all space (PCI-E lains/slots) on board is used with powerhugry cars.
Edit: Also in many cases you cant hide that 6-pin or what ever it use. So it makes your system also to look unfinished, messy and so ugly..
