Stock programs

Hiya
Does anyone know if you can safely disable the inbuilt file manager program? I much prefere ES File Explorer File Manager, and i have downloaded it.. but just wanted to check that if I disable the file manager program that is stock will it cause issues with anything else on the phone?

Why is HP ruining my life? lost all my stock programs like office when they "fixed" it

i am sick of dealing with HP. i sent my computer in to get fixed and the audio is still bad and the driver STILL gets stuck and i have not only lost all my data in it (thank god for external hard drives) but the programs that came stock are gone...like my windows office! this is terrible. HP...i paid too much money for this kind of malarky about customer care. someone please actually help me? i wish i had never bought this computer. dislike....

Far too easily as they make no attempt to maintain your data or software as T&C state.
A standard procedure when the machine goes in for repair with intermitant faults or unclear desciption on faults is a factory restore so all your data gone along with Office starter too.
should be easy to get a copy of office 2007 & even 2010 as many low cost promotions can be found & it is far better than the starter. you may even find you have office 2003 bundled on a cd free as I have in the past & it is still a good usable suite.
It is frustrating but quite normal unfortunatly.
Once your setup & runing well worth doing some homework on cloning of main OS partions as makes problems like these obsolete.
Another option is requesting to keep the hard drive (if not a suspected fault) thus preserves your setup & personal data security. Standard procedure with Lenovo service & repair is for customer to keep hard drive & it saves a lot of complaints & hasle for both parties ...

Looking for good real time STOCK program for my Mac (free)

Hi there!
I wanted to throw this question to you guys out there. Does anyone know of any good, may be free, program to keep track of stock quotes in real time. Something with a real time running line with quotes. It would be nice to have something just sitting as a background on my desktop or as a wedget or in the dock, something that can do real time though.

Yahoo Finance will give you real time quotes on specific stocks, say, in a portfolio. Many brokerage firm websites like Ameritrade offer Real Time quotes, too, but require that you have an account. Some other sites, and I don't remember exactly, offer a ticker tape type display; off the top of my head I'd say Intuit, CNN Money, MSNBC. Or you can try Market Browser.
If I think of anything else I will post back.

I am in need of a weather and stock widget, similiar to the ones on the iphone 4s, that allow you to display current stocks and weather in the notification window but i need it for the ipad2.

the iphone 4s came with a weather and a stock widget. these could be configured in notifications to CONSTANTLY display stock prices and the days weather whenever you pulled down the notification window. the ipad2 doesn't have these programs and i have spend a small fortune and time looking for this same feature. does anyone out there know off a weather and stock program that will let you program stocks into the notification window and then stream the stocks and prices acrossthe screen continously when you open the notification window. Also does anyone know of a weather program that will display the days current conditions ALL THE TIME, not just when the wind picks up or it snows.
the ipad2 doesn't have these built in programs and i can't find similiar ones in the app store.

Transfer QI stk to blocked stk with BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE (Error msg QA495)

I would like to create an mass udpate stock program which transfer the QI stock to blocked (because shelf expiration date is passed).
So, i use the BAPI_GOODSMVT_CREATE with movement type 350.
But the following error message appears : "Change the inspection stock of material XXXXXXX to QM only"
Does anyone can suggest me an another solution ?

You cannot run this FM as QM stock can be moved only by QA11 tcode. You may try to create a BDC to post the material

Java VM error message

I removed the Java Web Start program, by mistake, then went to the Sun website, loaded Java Web Start, have since loaded 1.4.1, but when I try to use my stock program, keep getting msg: You are running an old Java Virtual Machine. Please go to the following link to upgrade:

Then it puts me into the microsoft site where it tells me no updates are available. Any suggestions to help me are much appreciated. Thank you.

I think the separately available Web Start is an older version (1.0.1?) that is not intended for use with java 1.4 or later versions. The only way I know you can get the 1.4 compatible version of Web Start is to redownload the 1.4.x java runtime (J2RE) package.
I suggest that you uninstall your existing J2Re and Web Start to clean up your machine, and install a new J2RE

InDesigns CS6 and CC Crash

About every two months I have to uninstal and reinstal InDesign. It will crash when I open it and won't open again until I uninstal it and the reinstal it and then It'll work for roughly two months before I have to do it again. I had this problem with CS6 and CC. And it's only on the Mac osX 10.8. The Windows 7 runs great.
Does anyone else have this problem?
Is there a fix?
Does Adobe know about the problem?

Normal I'd take that answer, but I don't think that's it. I have a 2010 MacBook Air with CC it's crashing on, at school last year my 2009 iMac had the same problem with CS6 and at work my brand new (bought last month) iMac has the problem with CS6. I don't think that it's a program conflict, the only software all three have in common are Adobe and Apple's stock programs: iMovie, Garageband, etc.

I have a stock program software which only works on windows.
I used to have Japanese Toshiba Dynabook and used it until last year.
Now, I want to install it to my macbook, but I realized that I cannot use it even if I have microsoft office for mac.
How can I make my MacBook like Windows environment?

When Leopard (OSX 10.5) comes out, it will contain an updated version of BootCamp.
Simply said, all you need is a "bona fide full version of Microsoft Windows: XP Home or Professional with Service Pack 2, WIndows Vista Home Basic, Home Premium, Business, or Ultimate. (No upgrade or multi-disc versions)".
And it should be a 32-bit version of Windows, although chances are that with Leopard 64-bit versions will be also supported.

Use of APO BADI /SAPAPO/SNP_ADV_SFT

I am using APO SNP safety stock planning.
I want to store the calculated 'demand forecast error' from the safety stock program on a field on the APO product master.
Is the BADI /SAPAPO/SNP_ADV_SFT suitable for this (method GET_FORECAST_ERROR)?
Or is there a better approach?

Email set up in setting but can't send

I have a gmail account set up in the setting, but I am unable to send an email nor email a photo out. Compared my setting with my wife phone all look the same. Oh I have been able to do this in the past. I have also deleted the gmail account and set it back up too.
What happens is when I choose to email a photo it come up with a screen that add account. I choose Google, put the information in, but it tells me it all read exist. What do I need to do to fix this. I appreciate it

First off the email stock program does not always work as it should.
I would do this, and it works so much easier. Go to the Apps Store on your iPhone, search for the GMail app, install it.
Then all you need do is enter your correct gmail address ([email protected]) substitute "your email log in name for You"
Then enter your password. Enter it exactly make sure if it has upper and lower case letters and numbers that is what you put in.
The GMail app then logs into their email server, and it will get your email or send it. You then go into your iPhone settings under mail, contacts & calendars and click on the GMail account, select Delete. You will not need it with the stand alone app.
Make sure after its installed and functional to set the sound and notification for the GMail to alert you when mail arrives.

How do I Disable UI on A2109

I noticed in my question about 2 different Anti Virus programs exisiting togethr on the same Tablet witout rooting I could go back into settings and disable Norton's and then I could safely install my prefered Anti Virus.
My question is can I do the samething to get rid of the Lenovo UI from the Home Screen? Or is it controled just like Widgets are on other Android Devices.
I can live with stock programs on my Tablet just as long as I can get them out of my way as I have on my Iconia a500.
I know it's probably a dumb question, But I was reading on how to root my tablet and install mcl's rom and it all seems a bit much for me, at least at this time to wrap my head around.

You can remove Lenovo's widgets from the home screen. Long press one of them and red 'X's will appear on all the widgets and icons. Pressing on an 'X' will get rid of the widget or icon. You can also press and hold to move stuff around at that point. When you're done, tap the 'Finish Edit Mode' button at the top.
You can also try a different launcher from the Play Store. I don't really have any recommendations there as I having tried any myself.

New Mac user. Question about restoring Lion

I've had my Macbook Air for a few months now (just after the last refresh) and I love it, but I was just curious about something.. I recently had to format my PC laptop and afterwords realized some of the stock programs such as my DVD burning software etc were gone. I swore I had a disc that had all that stuff on there, but I was wrong.
My question is, my Macbook Air came with iMovie & the iLife applications and I really don't wanna lose that stuff if I ever need to restore my Macbook for whatever reason. I know I can do backups, but with Mountain Lion coming out I might wanna do a clean install of it. I guess since this is my first time ever dealing with this I was curious if I would lose that stuff or how it all works since I wasn't given a restore disc or whatever. I know I can just redownload purchased applications from the AppStore, but I never purchased iMovie, Photobooth, iPhoto etc and I really REALLY don't wanna have to buy them just because I restored. So yea...how does it all work? Thanks

The smartest thing you should do is backup your system on a regular basis. If you do this when you do a clean install you will have all your apps, data files, settings etc. I would recommend creating a clone of your system at least weekly (I do mine nightly) using SuperDuper! or Carbon Copy Cloner . Also Apple covers the subject of recovery in a couple of advice letters Lion Recovery Disk Assistant & Lion Recovery, OS X Lion: About . Look these over for additional information.

Belle rebooting (N8)

I updated a few days ago, and everything seems fine. I'm adjusting to the new os, getting it set up, etc.
I've noticed that it randomly restarts now, sometimes twice in a row. This hasn't caused any major problems for me yet, but is definitely something that needs looking into. My phone is nokia N8-00 about a year old with good care. The only app that I have that could be linked to this is situations, everything else is stock programs, no third-party apps are running/ever opened once before the phones reboot.
No freezing, but I have noticed it running slow at times when typing but it remembers the keystrokes properly, therefore I have not really thought anything of it.
