Stock req list (MD07) - collective display

Hi all,
Is it possible to have collective display at 'MRP group' level ? Can we include the field MAT GROUP in MD07 selection screen ?
If not, is there any other way to have collective display for materials which are common to multiple plants. As per my knowledge, MRP controller is maintaied at plant level which is available in MD07.

thanks for the reply. I ll explain you the exact requirement.
Suppose there are 10 raw materials out of which any (for e.g.) 3 materials will form part of BOM at a given point of time. In case of shortage of any of these 3 materials, any of the remaining 7 materials can be used. So the requirement is to track and purchase the stock considerng the entire group of 10 materials. Also these 10 materials are common to more than 1 plants. Thats why I was trying at mat group level. But as you said correctly, the plant is mandatory field in MD07 to defeat the purpose. Let me know if there can be a better way to meet this requirement.

Manually Arranging the List of Collections

I just downloaded and installed LR 1.0. I was also able to successfully import my LR 4.1beta Library with no problem. My question is: does anyone know how to manually arrange the list of Collections in LR 1.0? Right now they are listed alphabetically, but I would like to have the list of Collections displayed otherwise.
In iPhoto, you can click and drag a specific iPhoto Library then move and place it wherever you want in the iPhoto Library list.
Any help on how to do this would be appreciated.

Thanks, Sid. That's a workaround for what I want to do, but I would like to arrange my Collections in chronological order (using Month Year) as the Collection name (i.e., FEB 2007) and would like to have the most recent images in the Collection at the top of the Collection list.
In other words, if I started setting up my Collection list today, I would like to have it arranged FEB 2007, JAN 2007, DEC 2006, ... with FEB 2007 at the top. Right now, I haven't figured out a way to do that.
Unfortunately, using the child collections the way you suggested, I would have to rename each Collection everytime I added a new Collection (named after the current Month Year) to keep the most recent Collection at 001.

Printing the Collective Stock/Requirements List

Hey All,
I'm trying to print out the collective stock/requirements list via the menu path "System -> List -> Save -> Local File" but it is shaded out and i cannot do this, just like SD variants are needed to be maintained in own data for the report VA05 so that layouts can be saved, do we also need some such varient maintained in own data to access this option ?

After executing the Stock/Requirements List in MD04,in the top menu List -
> variable print --->From
here you can download into a spread sheet or as a local file or as a word processing.
Or else you can print from here.

Of course. That is the standard display in MD04 for Make To Order (special stock E). You can't make it display any other way.

Hi,
We need to have the display of few weeks sales history in Stock Requirements/Lists screen-md04, how can we have it added to the mdo4 screen..the sales history can be pulled from mp38?.

MD04 supports jumping to any other transaction by means of a customized button that you can place at the top of the screen. MD04 > display your material/plant; then Environment > Own Favorites > Maintain. Once you have concluded that 'jumped-to' transaction, you are returned to the original MD04 display.
If this functionality is inadequate, MD04 has userexits that support customizing the display. In this case, spec out your exact requirements and hand it off to a developer.

Stock Posting List from Item Master Data

Hi,
We just encounter a strange problem. In SAP we could go to an Item record and right click to choose Stock Posting List which will bring out the stock posting report that list all the in and out records for this particular item. The report can be generated shortly.
Over the weekend we enter into a new fiscal year and suddenly the Stock Posting List from item master does not contain any entries from previous fiscal year and it takes very long to show the list.
We could however run the Stock Posting List as normal from Stock Reports which will show all the records.
The problem if the Stocking Posting List from the item master only shows entries in the current fiscal year why suddenly the performance degraded when there is actually less data to be displayed.
Any one encountered such situation as well?

Hi Jimmy,
This is the System behaviour in SAP 2007 A. Due to the changes in posting period functionality, it is not possible to choose posting period. That is the reason why if you right click on an Item Master Data, Inventory posting list only for the current year appears. If user wish to see transaction for the other years, he needs to open Inventory Posting List report and set dates in the Selection criteria window.

What is the reason for stock/requirements list disabled in MM03

Hi,
I hv a problem where display a material in MM03, the stock/requirements list is disable. When run in MD04, error date comes after end of valid factory calendar. (Please correct)
I hv corrected the PO delivery date but still the same, wht shld I check now ?

extend your factory calendar using transaction SCAL
What you described has probably to do with some field values entered in the material master like delivery days, planning time fence ....
which make the planning determine a date for that you dont have a factory calendar.

Stock Requirement List - MD04 - adding columns in this list

Dear All,
I am working on the Stock Requirement list ( transactioncode MD04) and the customer wants to add columns with the fields STPO-DATUV ,date of change of a drawing, and the drawing number with revision level STPO-YY_DZEINR.
There is a badi MD_ADD_COL_EZPS which provides in adding columns, but according the structures MDPSX , MDEZX and MDSUX there are no fields in thoser structures, which directly match with the required fields; somebody has a clue to help me out and get it working.
For instance: Vendor- and Customer data can be added by using the pushbuttons and those fields are available from above mentioned structures.

You guessed correctly. I missed to inform our Strategy. We are using Strategy group 11 Make-to-stock prod./gross reqmts plnning.
User is not able to do PGI or create delivery. He says I have enough stock in MMBE but why system is not allowing.
Here there are some pending document like -
1. Pending sales order
2. Pending deliveries (picking not done)
2. Delivery created & Picking Done but PGI not done. These things will have a commitment against the stock. But we are interested in getting these document numbers, so that we can take come action against them.
MD04 simply shows the mrp element as order / delivery but the document number is not available. How to find these documents.
Please help. Is there any table or a standard transaction ??

Stock Posting List - Negative Value when Different Currency in PO

Hi experts,
We would like your help on the following scenario.
A Purchase Goods Receipt PO and a Purchase Invoice are added in SAP 9.0, on the same date, in a different currency from the system's currency; system's is Euro and Purchase documents are added in JPY (Japanese xen), i.e. 300 JPY. When checking the "Stock Posting List" report for a number of goods that were purchased with the above documents, the report presents the line of the Goods Receipt PO with the value of 270 JPY, and the line of the Purchase Invoice with a negative value, i.e.-15 Euro.
Has anyone faced the same issue?

Both queries have the default value of "Only Posted Values for Navigation".
As I was looking at this, I did realize the following though.
Remember, I mentioned that my zcurrency_mand field has a Reference Characteristic of 0currency.
Query 1: The key figure that is being converted is tied to 0currency in the back end. (this is the query that works).
Query 2: The key figure that is being converted is tied to 0inv_curr in the back end.
Both of the currency conversions are using zcurrency_mand. Should query 2 be using a new variable similar to zcurrency_mand, but with a Reference Characteristic of 0inv_curr?
If the answer is yes, I tried creating ZINV_CURR_MAND with Reference Characteristic of 0inv_curr, but am getting the following error when I try to save the changes to Query 2
[E117(BRAIN)] Errors: Variable ZINV_CURR_MAND2 is not permitted for the target currency.

Table for Stock Requirement List related information

Dear Sir,
We have make-to-order scenario , on receiving the Order from Customer we first create a Sale-Order for the Ordered Item . Subsequently in MD04 , we find a requirement getting reflected for the Customer Order .
For example say the Sale-Order number is S-101 and the Line Item is 10 for the FERT material say FERT-101 having the Order quantity as 1 number . In MD04 , we find a requirement getting reflected with the following information :
MRP Element --> CustOrd
MRP element data --> S-101 / 00010 / 0001
Recd/Reqd Qty --> 1-
Available Qty --> 1-
We need to write a Z program for getting the list of the requirements against the Customer Order (as shown in MD04) .
Kindly guide us as which Tables we need to refer for getting the above information pl .

Stock Requirements List

Friends,
When we are using the t-code MD04 to generate the stock requirements list for a material, it is throwing an error "Please maintain version in table T009". Table T009 is the table for fiscal year variants. There are no versions to be maintained there. Also, the fiscal year variant that is assigned to our company code is maintained there. Further, the stock requirement list is being generated for other materials (even those marked for deletion).
Please advise on how to solve this issue.

The problem was with the material master wherein a different fiscal year variant was maintained in the MRP view (different from the one attached to the company code). Changing the material master has solved this problem.

Stock/requirement list at a particular date

MD04 gives current stock/requirement list and MD05 gives planning result of last MRP run.
Hoe to see stock/requirement of a particular date

As explained there is no standard report to meet this requirement,but stock on a posting date is possible through MB5B.
If my understanding is correct then this stock/requirements list is a dynamic one(even on a particular date) this list gets updated
for each fixed/planned- receipts/issues.So on the same day there may be number of updated list.So there cant be only one
stock/requirements list on a given particular date.
Correct me if I'm wrong.

List view item display time is taking too much

Hi,
I am working in a sharepoint2013 project. In our project , list view item display time is taking too much in IE8 sp2013 64 bit environment. Can anyone help me to resolve this issue?

Hi Nabhendu,
We had something similar with our SP2013 and IE8 32-bit. It seems that IE8 was in Compatible mode which make it IE7, which is unsupported by SP2013 due to HTML5.
Issue : List view especially datasheet view which has been moved from ActiveX to HTML5 had very slow response on SP2013 and IE8 32-bit.
Resolution : Try Chrome and see if its CSS/Masterpage or SP2013 issues performance issue.
We deployed masterpage and css which was used in our SP2007 site with minor changes, but later we figured out that we need to make major changes in order to work with IE8 and SP2013.
Try Indexing Columns.
check how many look up columns are used.
